Brent was deeply invested into his work, or trying to be... She was on his mind. That red-headed pink eyed beauty was running all down and through his mind and there was nothing he could do about it. As much as he would like to be with her and be hers, he can't. They could never be together, for many reasons. The biggest one being she loves Brick. She may not know it yet but Brent does. Why fight for something that you have no control over? The question popped in his head time and time again. As intelligent as Brent was, an answer never came to mind because what he failed to see is sometimes it's not about the result of the fight but the thought of fighting alone...

Hilda walked into the room uncertain of what she may find. She sneaked inside and noticed the couple wrapped into each other's arms. A small smile crept upon her lips as she saw real love at it's finest. As she entered the room, Hilda knew this moment won't last. They've gotten closer and closer over time since they came back from the trip but true love never prevails. Especially in this lifestyle. Hilda knew that first hand. She placed the fresh linens in the bedside and opened the curtains with great dramatic effect. The heard the couple shift on the bed and a her smile widened. The sun felt great on her skin. Something inside her awakened. "Morning Soon-to-be Mrs. Jojo and Mr. Jojo."

"Hilda, you never fail to surprise us in the morning" Brick's voice was deep and raspy, just the way Blossom liked it. He began to sit up in bed but she pulled him back down in her grasp. "Good Morning to you too" His smile matched her's as she laid on his chest. She didn't want moments like this to end. Just to lay here listening to his heartbeat. Listen to their heartbeat, as it was one.

"Sorry to ruin such great moment, but we have great things planned today" Hilda went into Blossom's closet to pick out suggested outfits, giving them some type of privacy.

Blossom lifted up to quickly peck Brick on the lips, then got up to take a shower. "You are such a tease!" He went after her. Picking her up in his arms to continue the kiss. Blossom laughed in enjoyment, but she pulled away.

"We have things to do today!"

"You're right we do." Blossom saw something twinkle in Brick's eye as he set her down. She gave him one last kiss on the cheek and turned towards the bathroom. He smacked her on her ass and winked when she turned back.

"Such young love. So innocent and sweet. Most lovely relationship I've seen since Annabel and Maurice" Brick didn't expect that name combination to occur. He looked to Hilda in confusion.

"Why would my mom and Blossom's dad be together?" Hilda dropped the shoes in her hand to cover her mouth.

"I've said too much. I send someone for your bags, immediately" And with the quick deeply accented sentence, Hilda left the room leaving behind a dazed Brick. He thought nothing of it for it was nothing to know.

The plane ride to Miami was sweet and a lot better than Blossom's last experience. Their parents were a day ahead of everyone so they were already stationed in Miami, enjoying the weekend. They was a day of freedom since the actual ceremony didn't' actually begin and it was going to be an experience they wouldn't forget...

The beach house was indescribable and breath-taking. Brick and blossom were of course placed in one room. Butch and Buttercup's rooms were next to each other since they weren't officially seen as a couple to their parents. Bubble and boomer shared a room, there were two separate beds.

"So I know some guys here in Miami and they promised to show us around town today." Boomer was sitting on the couch was Bubbles sitting in his lap. Blossom was trying to figure out when she got so wrapped up in her life that she missed out on Boomer's.

"You guys go ahead, I have so business to handle..." Butch was looking away from everyone as he poured himself a shot.

"Drinking so early?" Blossom quickly made her way to Butch. She knew something was wrong but she didn't' want to alert anyone.

"Alcohol is my remedy to the madness" His little quote was only for Blossom's ears yet now he had the attention of everyone. "Just tying to start this trip off right. I'll catch up with you guys later, I promise." Butch kissed Buttercup's forehead before heading out the door with his leather jacket in tow. Blossom couldn't get a good read on him but she knew something was up. She was about o follow him but Brick grabbed and squeezed her hand. When he had her attention he gave her a stern facial expression telling her not to follow him. She wanted to listen to her instincts but... This was her brother. Blossom pulled away from Brick and made her way outside to see Butch getting on a motorcycle.

"Where are you going?"

"I got sucked back in.." With that, Butch was drove away and Blossom was left with more questions than answers. She went back into the house in complete defeat. She met Brick back in the room and he had plenty of questions. None of which she was going to answer and he accepted that once he saw her facial expression. He pulled her into his chest.

"We are going to a pool party, so you know what that means!" Blossom looked up at him with eyebrows raised. "The perfect occasion where I can see your body." Blossom pushed away from Brick and hit his toned arm.

"Let's not be a perv." She turned to see what she had packed for the occasion.

"Oh come on Pinky, I have never seen your body. Don't ruin this by wearing a one-piece"

"I was thinking no such thing, but since you put the idea in my head" He went toward her beg to see what he options were but she blocked the bag. "This will be a surprise and you will see along with everyone else. Okay?" She kissed his cheek and scurried into another room.

The limo ride to the pool party was calm and actually kind of fun. "So guys listen, this is more of business deal for me so please don't screw this up for me."

"Why would we go that Boom?" Blossom looked to her brother sad that she hasn't had time to connect with him like she wishes.

"Something always goes wrong, just be on your best behavior. I'm the baby of the family and i have to work twice as hard to make a name for myself. Plus with the 'royal couple' in tow, I'm sure there is something bound to happen" Boomer felt overshadowed by his family and his last name. He couldn't be himself but now was his chance to branch away from it all. Make a name for himself like he always dreamed.

"We promise to handle the paparazzi and situations accordingly in a wholesome fashion. We wouldn't want to be the cause of anything going wrong." Brick wanted to reach out the Boomer, he didn't have much of a connection to him. He knew that was important to Blossom and all he wanted was for her to be happy.

Bubbles and Buttercup didn't say much. They never did. The sisters weren't the closest nor did they get along the best so being quiet around each other is the best way to handle the situation.

The paparazzi came out guns blazing. There were questions thrown with no room to answer and pictures taken from just about every angle but thankfully everyone made it inside without any big scenes. Blossom was glued to Brick's side just as Bubbles was to boomer. Buttercup was biting her time, hoping that Butch would get back soon. She hated going to events like these and began to think her decision to come was a mistake. She got herself a drink and sat on the couch watching the various types of men and women pour into the mansion. Funny what you find when you sit back out relax.

Blossom and brick were in a secluded area by the pool. It was obviously the VIP area, created for Boomer. "Whatever kind of deal this is, it must be something special." Bubbles gave a quick wink to Boomer.

"Boomie, let's go swimming!" She quickly began to shed her cover-up to expose her well taken car of body. She was the careless model, beautiful without even trying. She had her blonde hair down with no make-up on for she didn't need it. Her bathing suit was white stringy two-piece that had her initials embroidered on it. She made her way towards the pool, grabbing the attention of many guy but she only paid attention to Boomer who was right behind her. He was crazy muscular like his brother but he was toned and could knock someone out if necessary. Of course Boomer was a lover not a fighter.

Blossom watched the way they communicated. They were perfect for each other. Not too rough but not too sweet. Exact for each other. Blossom looked to Brick who was in deep conversation with some guy. She dismissed it as business and concluded that it would be best if she didn't get involved. That's when a fairly attractive woman joined the conversation. She was obviously more attracted the Brick than the line of conversation. Blossom watched the woman from a distance.

She shook Brick's hand slowly while making direct eye contact and Blossom made note of it all. The woman sat a little close to Brick, making sure to brush against him at every chance she got. But it wasn't until Brick made a joke that the woman laughed and let her hand linger on his arm. That's when she grabbed Brick's attention. He turned to the woman to see how attention grabbing she actually was. Nice little brunette that had these cloud grey eyes and a full figure. He flashed her a smile, knowing that Blossom was giving him the hawk eye. He slowly turned to her direction and his suspicions were correct. She was glaring him down with everything in her. "A jealous girlfriend?" He turned back to the brunette. She had a bit to drink that was evident as she let her finger trail up and down Brick's arm. The man across from the two looked at Brick, waiting for his response. The took a deep breath, trying to get rid of the old him. Old Brick would have taken the brunette up to one of the rooms to handle business but this New Brick knew he had something better waiting for him. He delicately took hod on the brunette's hand removed it from him.

"She's not my girlfriend. She's my fiancé." He turned to Blossom, only to see she was gone. "Damnitt"

"You better hurry Brick. Before you lose a good one" The man across from him was giving Brick an approving look. He didn't believe their relationship was real but this only proves him wrong.

Brick scanned the pool area in search for Blossom but couldn't' find his red-head anywhere in sight. He ran inside to ask Buttercup, whom was still planted on the couch. "You seen Blossom?"

"She's upstairs, looked pretty pissed. Tread softly." Brick was about to storm upstairs until he saw something's in Buttercup's eyes that alarmed him.

"You okay?"

"Fine. Kinda don't want to be here, mind if I leave?"

"And go where?"

"I'm grown. I can handle myself"

"From what I see, you've had a couple of drinks and you're in an unknown city but if you don't want my help.." Buttercup tried to stand up but the drinks were getting to her. Luckily she was caught by these familiar green eyes... "Now I know you're in good hands. If you excuse me" Brick went up the stair to find Blossom, hoping she wouldn't be too pissed.

Buttercup looked up to Butch's eyes and instantly pushed away from him. "You're still mad at me"

"Damn straight! How could you go and continue to do your dad's dirty work?!" Butch was looking everywhere except at her, which only made Buttercup more angry.

"There are some things you just don't understand"

"Help me understand because I thought we told each other EVERYTHING." She waited for him to say something but when he didn't she stormed off. He went after her to grasp her elbow but she pulled away. "DON'T TOUCH ME!"

"Will you stop. You're being a drunken mess right now." He still wouldn't look at her.

"You're being a bad boyfriend right now. Just tell me what you had to do. Tell me where you were." He was fighting his instincts and looked into her eyes. Only to see hers widen in realization.

"Butch...you didn't..."

Brick was upstairs, going from door to door trying to find Blossom. It didn't help that this pace was a mansion and he had already been through 3 corridors.

Blossom was in a room far far away, fighting with herself. Should she call Brent? Or let him go... She quickly dial the memorized number and he answered on the first ring. "Blossom?"

"Hey..."

"Something wrong?" She took a moment to gather her thoughts before answering.

"I just saw something that may have changed my decision. maybe I should go through with this marriage. You know? Maybe Brick isn't who I thought he was. Maybe he's pretending and has been this whole time to get information on our plans. A-" Brent quickly interrupted her and he died a little inside.

"Blossom stop. Breathe. The lack of oxygen to your brain is beginning to have you think irrationally. Brick is crazy about you. I'm sure if you would stayed a bit longer, you would have seen what you wanted to. He's on our side no question about it. Don't questions your feelings for him because they are real. Everyone knows this."

"But does he feel the same?"

"No question about it."

"Then why-"

"Didn't I say no question about it. Don't question it. Let thins just happen, okay? Because at the end of it all, you will end up happy. Because that's what you deserve. You deserve to be happy with the one that makes you happy" He died again... Saying those words were the sad sickening truth. Brick made her happy and there was nothing Brent could do about it. Brent would always be the guy on the side. The guy she will call in situations like this. The sad reality.

"Thanks Brent. Sorry if I pulled you away from something important." Blossom almost felt kind of bad if she didn't already know that Brent would drop everything just for her.

"I guess I will see you when you get back?"

"Yes you will." Blossom heard the door open and she quickly turned around to see Brick. "Love you got to go" She quickly hung up the phone but Brent was still hanging onto those two words...

Brick looked at blossom and was the first to talk. "I'm sorry that I didn't' react faster. I was talking about to business ventures for the family then Bethany came and..."

"Oh she has a name?"

"Everyone has a name. just like yours will soon be Mrs. Blossom Jojo" Brick slowly moved closer to Blossom, wrapping his arms around her waist. But she pushed him away.

"Stop trying to butter me up. I'm mad at you"

"You can't stay mad at me. Especially since I just left a very important deal on the table for you. That woman means nothing to me, nor will she ever. I have you." He attempted to pull her closer again and this time she let him. He leaned down to kiss her but she moved away.

"You're not completely in the clear. Don't be fooled" With that Blossom gave Brick a quick wink before turning to leave the room. Or she tried to. Brick quickly retaliated, turning her around, lifted her up and delicately pressing her against the wall.

"Thought I was going to let you go that easily" He huskily whispered the words in Blossom's ear and left a trail of soft kisses along her neck.

"Don't start something you can't finish." Blossom's tightened her legs around him, causing him to move closer.

"Don't ask for something you can't handle." Brick went from her neck to her lips, Blossom responded without hesitation. Brick's hands rested on her hips but then he began to explore and roam. From her thighs back to her hips, then her waist. It was only those two in this moment. That's all the mattered. Well it was just the two of them until Bubbles came bursting into the room, dripping wet from the pool.

"Oh GOSH! Could you two not be THAT couple." Neither one of them pulled apart to listen to Bubbles rant. "COME DOWNSTAIRS FOR THE PARTY! No having sex in other people's houses. Its trashy. Remember keep it class, never trashy and just a little nasty."
