"So you're telling me I have a son?" Brick could feel the hairs on his arms rise in surprise. Angel slightly lifted her head up to respond but continued to lean on his chest.

"Yes."

"But how? When? I need you to back track and explain. This now extends into a child's life. I need some questions answered" He lifted her off of him to look into his eyes. A thousand and one things were going through his mind, but more importantly there was Blossom. His fiancé.

"How?" Angel laughed. "Brick we were wildly in love. We had sex in the most unlikely places at the most inconvenient times." She smiled at him seductively, "You remember when we did it on your dad's desk?" Brick couldn't help but laugh. It was a memory that he held close to his heart. Angel was someone that brought him out of his comfort zone and pushed him to the end in a good way. They grew up together, knew each other in and out. "Sometime around February I got pregnant. May is the month of your parent's wedding anniversary, we were in a few hotels they opened in San Francisco. We were flying to Mexico.." He watched her retell the events of the fire that supposedly lead to her death. " We were leaving the next day and I was going to bed, waiting for you to come back. I wasn't feeling well and you went to get me food.." She choked up too much to finish the story.

"What happened after that?" She wiped her tears trying to calm down to answer his question.

"I remember waking up in Columbia, my homeland. My uncle Alfonso told me I could never go back, never contact any of you. He changed my identity. I tried so hard to contact you and get away but I became his mule." He cut her off.

"A mule for who?"

"Let me back track on that a bit. Alfonso Gonzalez is the head of a very successful cartel operations which I later progressed in to handle operations. I started as a mule and moved myself up in ranks. I've seen and done some things that have damned me to hell for eternity but I had to make a life for BJ. I've never told my uncle whose baby is was but I'm sure he suspects it. You two look so much like and boy does he get his smarts from you." She ran her hand across Brick's cheek and smiles. "I'm back because I'm expanding the business, for BJ's 5th birthday he wants to meet his father, and I am no longer in fear of your family. Everything is falling around you guys, what's there to fear?"

"What if we weren't the threat after all?"

"If you aren't then who is?"

"Don't worry about it, just." Brick sighed thinking of Sedurita. He ran his hand down his face, trying to gather everything. He noticed the sun's position and decided to move things along before Blossom came home. He helped Angel up. "This was not what I need right now."

"What you need? I was 19 years old with a child in a country that hated my parents and I was thrown into a cartel business. Please tell me what do you need Brick? No one told you to go out and get a fiancé!"

"Whoa, whoa, don't bring her into this yet! If you must know she's the only girl I've exclusively been with after you, so that says something. But still not the point. You need to go, we will discuss this further and talk things out later." He turned her away so she could leave but she turned back around.

"Just promise me you will come to his birthday party?" He looked at her blankly.

"I can't make promises like that. I need more verification."

"You think I'm lying?" Angel was beyond offended but it was only right for Brick to act as such.

"I have to question you Angel. I'd be an idiot to believe everything you say. We will talk later." Brick turned away from her and into the house. Closing the door behind him, leaning against it and he could hear her screaming.

"YOU CAN IGNORE ME ALL YOU WANT JOJO BUT YOU WONT IGNORE YOUR SON!" Before he could move and bullet went through the door. He quickly got up and opened the door to see the driveway empty. Brick heard laughter behind him and turned to see Hilda.

"You sure know how to pick 'em" He sighed after closing the door.

Butch looked at his hand making sure he got the address correct before walking into the bar. Business was slowly growing as the sun went down. He scanned the room before proceeding. Guards at every exit but he looked for the area with the most guards. That's where she would be. He noticed a curtain near the far back wall and quickly made his way there. Before he could move the curtain a bouncer stepped in front of him. "Looking for the restroom?"

"Um no actually, is Mrs. Green here?" the bouncer's facial expression quickly hardened before answering.

"No she's not expecting anyone right now. So leave"

"Oh she will want to talk to me" the bouncer laughed, still standing strong.

"No one wants to talk to you ex-Utonium. You're a rogue member, probably waiting for scraps. Trust me she wants nothing to do with yo-" Before the bouncer was done, Butch punched him in the mouth. He stepped across the bouncer and through the curtain. Everyone in the room clung their eyes on Butch as he stepped in .

"Who the fuck let you in here?" Before Butch could answer guns were loaded, cocked and aimed directly at him.

"BC…" Butch whispered her name, which she heard. She looked at him in astonishment. Butch looked at the love of his life sitting at the head of a table with stack of money being counted and bagged right in front of her.

"Everyone lower your guns. Everyone except personal intel leave" Snake looked at Buttercup in curiosity.

"You sssure Boss?" She only nodded in response and the room cleared except for 2 people.

"Are they really necessary?"

"Can't take any risks now can I? Why are you here?"

"I'm coming to you as a humble, humble friend. I once tried to free you of your wedding" Buttercup laughed when he said humble. Nothing was humble about the meatball head man standing before her. She did notice something off about him.

"Don't speak on that. What do you want Butch?" It was all about business with Buttercup, she had too much on the line to be risking such things.

"I just… I'm going to keep things professional, I guess. Let's be partners, bring me into your 'family' and I'll be of great service to you?"

"Butch, what could you possibly bring me besides sad memories and overwhelming temptation?" that made him smirk, which made Buttercup's heart jump.

"Temptation you say?" She cleared her throat which straightened him up. "I'm 'working' under Sedurita, on the interworking of how Brick is running the Jojo business, but I've been digging through her business too. Have me on your side and I can spill all the beans and maybe help you with those temptations.."

"You want my protection. If you were simply being a friend, a phone call has the same effects. You need status as well. You Utonium's are getting more and more predictable."

"Let's not talk about family. The JoJo's are on a rapid decline. From what I hear your mom is releasing a tell-all book, that you're funding. Oh, such a functional family!" Butch's sarcasm caused her to laugh, unexpected. "Oh how I missed such an angelic sound."

"Don't do that Butch, you're not in the clear. Doing that will cause some problems for me. I have a legit business now. You interrupted a deal by the way."

"Legit business or were you washing money?" He raised his eyebrow at her as she looked away to avoid answering. "Sounds important but you still haven't answered my request"

"We will start small, and build my trust from there. Can you handle that?" Butch couldn't help but think a certain way when she asked that question.

"I can handle anything you throw at me, you already know!" He winked at her as she snapped her fingers. Her boys escorted him out. "We will be in touch Green!" Butch couldn't help but smile as he remembered how beautiful she was.

Blossom was escorted into a cold warehouse. "It's the summertime, how is it so cold in here?"

"It keeps the quality in my supply just how I like it." This middle aged man saw Blossom approaching. He stood up from his seat to greet her. She noticed how she couldn't quite pinpoint his age because he was so muscular. He looked youthful but wisdom and experience were laced in his face. His brown eyes were warm and inviting. It made her slightly smile as she greeted him.

"Blossom Utonium" She held out her hand. He looked at her in confusion.

"Where I'm from we hug." He pulled her hand in and gave her a slight polite hug. She was able to feel the full extent of his strength. It was powerful, and he smelled like a man. Blossom silently swooned on the inside. "Besides, you don't look dangerous. You sure you're in the right business mamacita?" Blossom couldn't get over his thick accent.

"Yes I promise I am. I'm good at what I do." She sat at a seat across from his. She noticed his hair, it was full and lavish yet salt and peppery, once again making it harder to guess his age.

"Oh I know! I've done my research. I don't do business with amateurs JoJo's are clearly working on expansion, but may I offer a new product to put on the market?"

"I tried to talk my husband into it earlier. He's not looking into expanding that far."

"Then he's not ready to expand. Cocaine is the next level for a successful business and I sell some quality shit. Ever tried?" Blossom shook her head in response. "It's thrilling. How about this, let's do a test trial. Two hundred thousand worth of product for a month, you keep all the profit if it doesn't sell out within two weeks." Blossom raised her eyebrows in surprise.

"That's a risky deal."

"I call it a donation. It's nothing really, but if you want to renew shipment business with me comes at a price."

"A price?"

"Just as business with the JoJo's comes with a fee, business with the Gonzalez's' comes with a definite price."

"Speaking of the Gonzalez, I've done my research too. You people are not to be fucked with. Let's me explain this to you now, we aren't either. Don't sell me any purified shit then when I renew scam me into selling something that's less than 20 percent pure!"

"Now that's just downright disrespectful"

"And possible, if you can ensure consistency within your product we have a deal." She held her hand out again, hoping to not look like a fool this time. Thankfully he took it. "Now this is something that will stay between us. My husband will not know."

"Keep talking like this, mi amor, and this won't be the only thing kept between us."

"I'm not one for Familia secrets but you are" He laughed at her Spanish but looked at her to continue. "Angel." She watched his face closely hoping he would show some type of emotion. Alfonso only rolled his eyes slightly.

"My niece."

"She's you niece?"

"Yes, my brother's daughter. I've watched over her and added her to the family business. We're….partners."

"Partners? That doesn't sound like the ideal partnership but I mind my business. I'm going to get straight to the point since we're new business partners. I've been getting calls about an Angel Gonzalez trying to distribute on my territory. I don't know how things work in Columbia, but here in Townsville we take that seriously."

"Angel was trying to sell to your customers?"

"Yes, I've been getting calls about it all day. I thought you distribute to the sellers not automatically sell." Blossom looked at him for a response, hoping to get some information out of him.

"Angel is one that I've had to restrain and control. She doesn't understand boundaries, but I will make sure she does mi amor." That last part made Blossom smile a bit. She knew it was a term of endearment but it's something she wasn't getting at home, so it made her smile. "Angel won't be a problem anymore. Consider it handled." He snapped his finger and nodded before returning his attention back to Blossom. "I'll be more than happy to keep our arrangements a secret and to supply you with anything you need, mi amor. I would love to stay but I have more business in your lovely city." She nodded and stood only to have him hug her again, more firmly this time.

"Well let me know if you would like me to show you around sometime." She winked before being escorted out the warehouse, silently approving of herself. She secured a new provider, a new product and maybe a new ally. She got into the car, starting to think of her next move. Business was the number one priority for her these days. It was expected of her but she was going beyond expectation. The search for how to bring Sedurita down is always the goal, but Blossom knows more digging into that will only make things messy. She hasn't spoken to her father in a while, she was considered a Jojo to society. It wasn't something she disagreed with but her name isn't legally changed yet. And with the way Alfonso was flirting… That's just his nature, Blossom thought.

"Boss everything is set up for your next arrangement, would you like to go there now?" The driver was looking at Blossom through the rear-view mirror. She nodded shifting her mindset. She felt her phone buzz and answered with a swift hello only to be reconciled with a familiar voice.

"Blossom, when are you coming home? It's getting late." She rolled her eyes at the sound of Brick's voice.

"Since when do you worry about what time I get home? You usually stay out until 1-2 am and yo never get a phone call from me."

"Well my dear, we are two different people. Come home." She ignored his demand.

"Did you handle that situation with Stephen?" Brick physically face-palmed himself but tried to make his voice sound normal.

"Yeah we talked, there seems to be a hold up but he said he would have something for is in 48 hours."

"48 hours you say." Blossom chuckled to herself. "I'll be home soon" She didn't wait on a reply to hang up the phone. Once she did, the car came to a halt. The wait near a cabin in the middle of the woods. The door opened and she saw the long driveway ahead of her. "You couldn't go up the driveway?"

"For security reasons, no ma'am. Would you like a change of shoes?"

"A woman never takes off her heels" Blossom exited the car and into the empty cabin. She left her materials in the car, this would be a quick trip. The sound of her heels echoed through the cabin as she entered the living room area. No furniture was in the room, nothing on the walls, only a li fireplace and a single occupied chair.

"Stephen, how are you my darling?" The sweaty man looked up to see Blossom's smiling face. He didn't make a noise against his mouth taped shut. "Not happy to see me? You expected my husband I'm sure. Yeah, Jojo enterprise is under new management. New policy goes as follows, when you don't handle your business you get your business handled." She circled around the chair as her men rolled out utensils along the floor. "You missed shipment. Let me not be generous about this situation. Stephen, you missed SHIPMENTS, many many shipments. That's messing with my customers, and that messes with my money. Now we pay you. We pay you very generously and we are loyal are we not? If you have any transgressions against us please speak now." Blossom stood in front of his face, as if he was going to reply. Within a few silent moments she circled around his again and continued talking. "Exactly, we treat you with the upmost respect and you fail again and again. Why?" She looked in his eyes again. She looked at one of the guys in the room. "I actually want a response, could you remove the tape please." The husky guy quickly responded and ripped the tape from his lips.

"I'm not doing to answer anything. Torture me all you want but you can't kill me."

"And why not?"

"You may have no loyalty to me, but your future husband and family are basically mu family. I know you Utonium's don't know much about family but it actually means something on this side." Stephen's voice was rugged but he spoke with some authority. Blossom chuckled. She walked over to one of the laid out utensils and picked it up. She ran the blade across her finger before swiftly moving towards Stephen and pressed it against his throat.

"Let me repeat myself. We're under new management. We have more things going for us, bigger and better things actually. Your mishaps have made me look ike a fool. I'm a new Utonium, I was shipped away so you don't know how I move but let me reassure you. I'm the worst one of them all." She stared directly in Stephen's widened eyes as she slid the knife across his throat.

"Killing me won't make product move faster. I couldn't make it move even if I wanted to. The JoJo's have a target on their back, I've told you this before. It's worst now. Before things were subtle and silent but this person is making moves. I've learned that it's not just one person either." Blossom was choosing her next utensil while listening to Stephen say everything to spare his life.

"Now you want to talk, I knew you would. Continue I'm listening."

"You have to spare my life." She threw a knife across the room which grazed his ear without turning around.

"Don't think I missed on purpose. You're in no position to negotiate any deals, now talk."

"Angel is alive and she's out for blood. She's been digging around town and taking out small businesses, using her last name am ammo. But little do most people know she doesn't get along with her family. Her parents sold out the cartel to the DEA, they helped build it so it was the worst betrayal. The hatred along spread down to the offspring, but the gag is Angel wasn't the only child. She has sister, its-" A series of explosions were heard outside. Blossom's men reacted quickly to get her out of the cabin and to safety. She walked outside to see the car she came in, up in flames.

"Go back and get him too. Don't let him die in there!" They nodded ad another truck pulled up and she hurried inside. "Fucking Sedurita…" she mumbled under her breathe. "Take me home, please."

Blossom stumbled up the stairs and into her room. She looked around to not see Brick. What a relief, she thought. She went into her closet and removed her shoes. "You're home." Blossom slightly jumped at the sound of his voice.

"Yeah, I had a busy day today."

"You okay? You seem really jumpy" He moved closer to her to get better look at her face. Her hair was lightly disheveled and her face was rosy. "Looks like you've had sex" Blossom rolled her eyes and pushed past him and went into the bathroom to run a bath.

"That's the last thing happening. What was so important for me to come home? Why are you home to early? Don't you have another woman to talk to while I lay in bed yearning for you?" Brick slightly winced at the comment. It was an insult that hit kinda hard, given the circumstances.

"C'mon Blossom you have to let that go. She's an old friend. I handled your relationship with Brent like an adult and now I get my female friend back you want to act up" Blossom turned back to look at Brick, ready to strike.

"How dare you compare my genuine friendship with my best friend to you and that bitch! Brent respected our relationship. He never made personal calls to me throughout the day at all times of the day. He never came in between our business. He still accepted me even after I chose you! That bitch has no respect for me and you CONTINUOUSLY allow her to disrespect me." As if right on que, Brick's phone rang. Blossom watched him follow the sound as if he was in a trance. "My point exactly." Her voice slightly quivered as she watched him. "I'm too good of a woman to let you just disrespect me this way." She got up and stomped straight to him.

"Listen, now isn't the best time-" Blossom snatched is phone out of his hand and ended the call.

"You are going to sit here and tell me what exactly is going on between you two. I want all the details Brick, she has to be something special for you to ignore me and go answer the phone." She pulled out the share from the desk and sat across from him while he sat on the bed.

Now was the time. Brick was going to come clean. He looked up at Blossom's sweet face. She was so hurt and to know he was causing her this pain as internally hurting him. And to know the news he had was only going to make things worse. "Angel and I were in an exclusive relationship years ago. We grew up together so it was natural for us to end up together. On a family trip, I left her in a hotel to get food because she was sick. She suggested that we just order from the hotel but I convinced her hotel food would only make things worse. I was going to get her favorite, little did she know. When I came back the hotel was in flames, cops trying to control the situation . I was filing through the crowd looking for her because I just knew she made it out. I found Buttercup and she just looked down. She couldn't look me in my eyes, I knew something was wrong. I had to leave the scene with my family but I followed up with the fire department to find out that she didn't make it out." Blossom watched as Brick poured his heart out to her. "There were rumors that my family set it up, but I couldn't listen. I spiraled out of control, but you Blossom. You centered me and grounded me to become the man I am today. We haven't known each other that long but I feel as if my soul is connected to yours. You helped me out of the abyss I sank into. Seeing Angel at Bubbles' baby shower was the most life shocking thing I've ever been through. I've put bullets through people's heads and ended their life. To see her walk up to me when I see her be put six feet under still fucks me up to this day. I just want to regain lost time. No I don't feel as strongly as I did for her, but I do feel something. I've been trying to decipher my feelings, you know? I can tell that hurts you, the fact that I even give this girl the time of day but yo have to respect the place she held in my heart"

"The spot she held or holds?" Blossom had tears threatening her eyes. She wouldn't dare let one fall but with the roles reversed she can't help but tear up.

"Held, but it gets more complicated. After lunch today…" He fell back onto the bed and looked at the ceiling.

"I'm listening." She got up from the chair and sat next to him on the bed. She needed to be close to him, regardless of how upset she was with him. She would always be attached. Brick sat up and pulled Blossom close.

"I love you and I don't want you to ever forget that. Regardless of what happens, you will be my wife. We will have a life together." Blossom could feel Brick's heart beating faster. He was saying everything she wanted to hear, but she knew there was something missing.

"Brick, what happened after lunch?" Brick took a few deep breaths before answering.

"Angel came to the house to tell me some news. She explained to me what happened to her after the fire and confirmed all the rumors of my family being the cause. She told me they burned the hotel down because they got word that she was pregnant with my child. Knowing how our families work, they didn't see her fit to be a Jojo so naturally they tried to kill her. While listening to this story of her life after the fire, she tells me that I have a son. My family didn't succeed in their mission." Brick held Blossom tighter, waiting for her to fight back but she went limp. "I was so lost for words, because everything was happening too fast. I told her to leave and she shot up the front door. I- "Blossom interrupted him but she was so soft spoken that he didn't quite hear her.

" You have a child?" Blossom slowly lifted herself out of his arms. She was slowly regaining her strength.

"Allegedly. We must get tests going and stuff, I'm not going to just take her word for it. Yes, Angel was my best friend but I've seen firsthand betrayal and if there's a child involved I want everything to be handled the right way."

"So you found out about this today?" She got up and started pacing.

"Yes. She told me a few hours ago, I promise. That's why I wanted you to get home so quickly, I needed to get this off my chest."

"You needed to get this off your chest" She mimicked his words while nodding. Brick could only look at Blossom. He didn't know how she was taking this. She just watched her. "I'm going to let you process this alone".

"Blossom I don't want to do this alone. This is a test for us, and I know we can get through it."

"I'll get through it, I get through everything. I'm still alive. But I will not stand by your side and pretend that none of this bothers me. You have just… We need to be apart. I can't be here right now." She walked pass and he grabbed her hand.

"Blossom don't let this break us."

"Then let me go." Brick starred into her eyes before releasing her hand. She turned to the closet to pack clothes and Brick was on her hill.

"Why have you been acting so distant and angry lately? What is going on with you?"

"Brick, I don't want to discuss this now." She quickly exited the room and closed the door behind her. She scanned her mind thinking out who she could run to. Who could she trust? Brent. A tear ran down her face as sprinted down the hall to a familiar room. She knocked on the door before going in. "Rose, can I speak with you?"

She was lying in her bed reading what seems to be the Bible. She lowered her glasses and looked to Blossom. "Of course, sweetheart, is something wrong?"

Blossom walked into the room and laid on her bed. Roseline just laid a hand on Blossom's head, lightly going through her hair. "I know this life is getting to you but Blossom, don't let it break you. You are stronger than that. Have you ever heard the story of the past?"

"The past?"

"With me, Maurice, your mom and your dad. It's a little crazy but it's story indeed. You might dose off but it's something I need to get off my chest."
