Author's Note: Reborn's trial goes so quickly! You can see that Kasumi is slowly warming up to the others as they start to show concern for her.

As I change to get ready to go to sleep, I hear footsteps from outside of my room in the hallway. They're light, timid steps… That would be Dokuro then. I change out of my pajamas and into a black hoodie, a white t-shirt and a black and red plaid skirt before pulling on a pair of black ankle boots. I grab my box weapons and rings before heading to the front.

Somehow, I manage to make it to the front before Dokuro. I call out from the couch. "Where are you heading to, Dokuro?" I ask.

She turns around seeming surprised. "K-Kasumi… Um, boss asked me to go to Namimori Island," she explains.

"Then I'll go with you," I decide. I get up from the couch as I zip up the hoodie. She looks as though she's about to say something, but I say, "Like I said this morning, it's only because it's what Mukuro-sama would have wanted."

When we get to the beach, Sawada exclaims, "Chrome! Eh? Sato-san too?" The Storm Guardian crosses his arms and the Rain Guardian waves.

I cross my arms. "Don't misunderstand. I'm only here because Mukuro-sama would have sent someone to make sure she makes it out okay if he was here."

"Oh, it's you!" the Sun Guardian exclaims.

"Sato," Hibari says.

I nod. "Hibari-san."

"A-Anyways, it looks like everyone's here, so let's go," Sawada says. I hang back as Sawada, the Storm and Rain Guardian's, Dokuro, and Lambo go into one boat. The Sun Guardian and Hibari head into the other boat. I go over to the Sun Guardian and Hibari's boat. "Would you mind if I joined you two?" I ask. The two males nod so I go and sit next to Hibari, who in turn looks at me. "Hm? Should I move?" I ask.

"It's fine," he replies.

"A-Ah…" I reply with a nod. I yawn and Hibari glances at me. I blush a little before looking away quickly. I've been planning how many dishes I would have to make for Ken and Chikusa in advance. Since I know that we're going to have to go back, I want them to be able to eat something other than packaged food.

"I've always wanted to have a real fight with the baby," Hibari says.

"Yeah, he'll make a fine opponent," the Sun Guardian replies.

I'm not sure whether or not I should say anything, but I say it anyways, "You should watch out." They both turn to me. "I don't mean anything about your strength, but the Arcobaleno are the best of the best. Reborn is the strongest out of them all," I say seriously. "So, please be careful."

I watch as the trial starts and Sawada gets kicked onto the cliff side. Next Hibari goes and charges at the Arcobaleno. Be careful… He's not holding back. The Arcobaleno's weapon gets sent flying upwards by Hibari, but then the Arcobaleno jumps up and shoots Hibari with his gun. "Hibari!" the Sun Guardian shouts.

"H-Hibari-san!" I exclaim. The smoke clears and Hibari falls to the ground. The Arcobaleno defeated him in one hit? The Arcobaleno asks that they all attack at once, but Sawada and Hibari are already knocked out.

Dokuro comes over to me. "Could you-" she starts.

"Take care of Lambo?" I finish. I take Lambo from her. "Be careful, okay?" I say. She nods.

"Sleep here peacefully," she says to Lambo.

Lambo mutters in his sleep, "I can't eat another bite…" I walk over to where Sawada currently sitting unconscious. I glance at Lambo. Poor kid… getting dragged into the mafia without a choice. I think back to my own "childhood." I hope you can enjoy yourself a little longer. I look up to see that the battle continued in a negative direction. The Sun Guardian and Chrome are out too. The Storm Guardian gets knocked out next leaving only the Rain Guardian. It doesn't look like it'll take long though. The fight is pretty much over.

The Rain Guardian is doing better than the others did. My attention shifts to Sawada, who apparently woke up again. "Y-Yamamoto?" he asks. The Rain Guardian falls. "Yamamoto! Gokudera-kun! And Chrome… Onii-san! And even Hibari-san…"

The Arcobaleno says darkly, "You're the only one left, Tsuna."
"N-No way…" Sawada glances at me over his shoulder. "Lambo's the only one in

good shape… Everyone's beaten up!"

"Aren't you their boss? You're supposed to do something about this."

"B-But I can't fight you…"

"You're still going on about that? The world's done for if you can't clear this trial. Don't you care for what happens to Kyoko, Haru, your mother, and even Kasumi?" Upon hearing this, I glare at the Arcobaleno.

"No way… I can't let that happen!" Sawada goes into Hyper Dying Will Mode.

"You're finally getting serious?"

The fight turns for the better. The others wake up. My eyes widen as Sawada decides not to hit the Arcobaleno with his X Burner. That was probably his only chance… I sigh. As I thought, Sawada really is too kind. Sawada gets shot by many bullets. That's an overkill, Arcobaleno. Along, with the others, I end up exclaiming, "Sawada-san!" as he falls down head first. The trial is over.

I walk downstairs with a slightly irritated expression. The stupid doctor is getting on my nerves. "What are you all getting so worked up about?" I ask as I cross my arms.

Shamal drops a pile of cans on Sawada's bed. "Geez, lose the long faces. It's time to eat," he says.

"Shamal!" the Storm Guardian exclaims. "Don't you know how to deliver food?"

"If you've got a problem, then leave. I don't enjoy looking after men," Shamal replies.

"No, we're grateful. If you hadn't taken care of us-" Sawada says.

Shamal cuts in, "I don't want any gratitude from men."

"Hah. Good. I wouldn't thank you even if you begged me," the Storm Guardian says haughtily.

Shamal punches the Storm Guardian's leg. "Injured people should shut-up and lay in bed."

"What do you mean you 'don't enjoy looking after men'? I was the one who did that," I say to Shamal. "For some reason," I roll my eyes, "whenever the bandages were supposed to be changed or medication had to be given to them, Dokuro needed 'immediate attention.'"

"Whatever," Shamal replies. I raise my right eyebrow. I'm reaching the end of my patience. "You freaks screwed up my plans to go skirt-chasing," he says to the others.

"It's not like you were going to score," the Storm Guardian comments. I laugh.

"Enough already," the Rain Guardian says.

"Well, at least there's Chrome-chan and Kasumi-chan," Shamal says with a grin. I punch him automatically and then kick him in the face.

"That's it. I have no patience left for you," I say. He falls. He may be a skilled doctor, but I've had enough for today.

Sawada's eyes are wide as he asks, "I-Is Chrome okay…?" Apparently I scared him a little.

"Dokuro is fine. She's unconscious at the moment though," I reply.

"What about Hibari?" the Rain Guardian asks.

"Ah… Hibari-san left shortly after I finished treating him," I reply. "He went off to go look for the Arcobaleno." I'm actually a bit worried…

"Hibari intends to fight Reborn-san again…" the Storm Guardian says.

"He wouldn't let it end like this," says the Rain Guardian.

The Sun Guardian declares, "That applies to the rest of us too!"

"Reborn's trial is over. He'll never agree to fight you. It's already over," Shamal says weakly as he pulls himself back up from the ground. A serious expression appears on everyone's faces. "If you understand, then head back to town. You guys, Chrome-chan, and Kasumi-chan over here are the only ones left on the beach."

"What about Lambo?" Sawada asks.

"He already left. See ya," Shamal replies. He walks off.

The air in the room is tense and the silence sits there for a while. "Well, since the stupid doctor left a bunch of canned foods here, I'll make something. You must all be hungry by now," I say. I gather the cans from Sawada's bed and start to walk back upstairs.

"Sato-san," Sawada starts. "Thank you."

I turn around and look at him. "It's fine. I owe you anyways," I reply. I continue to walk back upstairs. There's a small kitchen there, so I should be able to cook from there.

I hear the Rain Guardian say, "She's nicer than I thought she would be."

"Sato-san is a pretty good person," Sawada replies. "Even though sometimes, she still scares me…"

I stop walking for a second. A good person, huh? "Hah," I laugh to myself quietly. I don't know if I should be pleased or worry about it, so I decide to leave it at that. I walk into the kitchen and start to cook.

I collect the bowls and utensils that I managed to find after they finish eating. "Are you sure you don't need to eat anything, Sato-san?" Sawada asks. He seems concerned for me.

"It's fine. I'm not hungry," I reply.

The Sun Guardian says, "It's not healthy to not eat anything."

"Senpai's right," the Rain Guardian agrees. They're worried about me now too?

"Ah, I know. I had something earlier. Don't worry," I reply. The Rain and Sun Guardian head out for a walk.

I head back to the kitchen to wash the dishes. As I wash the dishes, I remind myself that there's only tonight left to cook the food for Ken and Chikusa and I have to let them know too. I sigh. What am I going to say? My eyes widen as I hear explosions from outside. Knowing the situations that Sawada often gets thrown into, I wouldn't be surprised if this is an attack. I stop washing the dishes and run upstairs to get Dokuro. If it comes down to being an attack and not a trial…I'll fight. I clench my fists as I continue run up the stairs.
