Author's Note: I'm really no good at writing the long fights. So, I kinda just cut them out. Sorry!

I clench my fist tightly as I look up at the celling. It's finally time for the Choice battle. I'm shaking a little. Why am I so scared? I'll be fine… I take in a deep breath and change into the uniform that was given to me earlier today. I pull on the white collared shirt, black skirt, red blazer, and black tie. I start to laugh at myself. I'm in the same uniform as the mafia. What is this? I pull on my black knee-high boots before getting my boxes and rings. As I put the rings on, I hear mewing.

"Huh?" I ask as I look around. There's a cat box weapon. "Oh, you're the Storm Guardian's box weapon." I smile a little. "How did you get all the way to this side of the base?" I ask as I kneel down and start to pet the cat. "Uri, right?" I ask softly. Uri mows and then jumps into my arms.

I hear a knock on my door and Hibari comes into the room. "We're going," he says. He takes a look at Uri. I look at him blankly as he starts to glare at Uri.

I let out a sigh as we somehow manage to get teleported. Amazing… they produced 10,000,000 Fiamma Volts on their own… "Geez, you three are late!" the Storm Guardian exclaims.

The Rain Guardian laughs. "Sorry about that."

"I am here for personal reasons. It's got nothing to do with you," Hibari replies. I smile.

"I said that I'd help, so I will. Besides, Mukuro-sama got me into the habit of making better entrances," I reply.

In the middle of the chit-chat, I get addressed by Byakuran. "Oh, I didn't see you back there, Kasu-chan!" he greets with a smile. Everyone seems to turn to me.

"Well, I certainly didn't expect to be in the spotlight for this one," I reply calmly as though I was addressing someone from school. The others look a little bit surprised at how I react.

"I guess this is centered around the others, isn't it?" he replies. He's continuing the conversation in a friendly manner as though we've met each other before. "You must be bored."

I nod. "Quite. Though, I won't complain about sitting back for this one," I say.

The blue haired girl standing next to Byakuran tugs at his sleeve. "Byakuran, who's that?" she asks. "There are so many people there…"

"Kasu-chan," he says to the girl.

"'Kasu-chan'? Do you know her well?" the girl asks.

Byakuran smiles a little. "Something like that," he replies.

I raise my eyebrows. "How vague," I comment. I cross my arms. "It seems like my future-self is known by more and more mafia than I thought I would. That's troublesome."

He laughs. "I'm surprised that you can be talking to the person who killed your beloved 'Mukuro-sama' so casually," he says.

My heart skips a beat and my eyes widen slightly. I clench my hands tightly behind my back and feel my nails digging into my palm. Dokuro is starting at me directly with a blank look. She doesn't know how to react. I manage to keep a calm expression somehow. "You can keep telling yourself that. Whatever rows your boat," I reply.

"Hm?"

"I know that Mukuro-sama wasn't killed," I say firmly. I relax my fists a little. "He's still alive and doing alright actually." I know that you're trying to mess up the morale right before I fight. I won't let you.

Byakuran smiles and I wonder if he knows that I'm lying. "Really? How do you know that?"

I hold up my left hand and look at my palm as I explain, "I thought you would know. I guess that the Millefiore's intelligence isn't that great though. I've known Mukuro-sama since we were children and like Ken and Chikusa, I scratched myself with his trident to form the contract. I've been in contact with Mukuro-sama the whole time," I say. "The scar's still there," I comment. It's actually was a cut on my index finger that I got when I was just learning how to cook.

"Wow, how interesting," Byakuran says, "Make sure you say 'hi' to him for me, Kasu-chan." I nod without a word. "It's that kuudere attitude that kills you in the end," he says quietly. My eyes widen a little and I stiffen up. Byakuran smiles again. "Thought I should give you a fair warning."

Sawada turns to me. "S-Sato-san?" he asks a little timidly.

I shake my head. "Put it out of your mind now. Just get this battle done with quickly," I reply. I exhale a bit shakily and Hibari glances at me. I shake my head. "I'm…alright. I just got caught by surprised," I reply softly. I'm not dead in this time period…so that means that I was killed in the other parallel universes?

Bianchi pats me on the shoulder. "It's alright, Kasumi. You did well," she says to me quietly, "You stayed strong to make sure they didn't lose hope."

I want to look away as I watch the Phantom Knight get killed slowly by the plants. Enemy or not, I understand. I get what it's like to serve someone like that. He's like a reflection of Ken, Chikusa, Dokuro, and I. But, Mukuro wouldn't do that to us. I know he won't. "Hibari-san…" I start, "are you hungry? I think I saw a kitchen somewhere."

"Yes," he replies with a nod.

I nod. "Does anyone else want something to eat?" I ask.

"I do," Fuuta says.

I nod and force a smile. "I'm off then," I say before a leave. My hands are shaking as I leave the room. I find the kitchen empty and I let out a quiet sigh as I lean on the wall and slide down a little. I'm exhausted. I take in a deep breath and exhale. One… Two… Three. I stand up again and start to go through the fridge. It looks like I can make sandwiches with the ingredients here. I rummage around the room to look for the right utensils. Distracting myself with cooking has never failed before. It'll be fine… Everything will be fine…
