Monsters and Magic

By: DJ Rodriguez

(Author's Notes: Hi folks! Glad to see that I got some good reviews from you all from my last chapter! Granted, it was only three or so… but, I'm glad all the same! Either way, very glad that all of you are excited to see on what happens next, and I aim to please!

In this chapter, Godzilla and his allies battle against the remaining Monster bandits! They show the human guests of Melody and their bonded that they are there to protect them. And also, you will see a new song I created for this moment when Melody and her royal friends introduce the monsters to the remaining kingdom citizens. And also, a sea patrol finds Maleficent's forces and alerts Triton! It seems another rumble might be in the making!

I do hope this next chapter gets the attention of the readers, and also some reviews. I do not own Godzilla or any of the Toho creations, nor do I own Disney or any of their creations. I do own my own OC's, and also the songs I have been writing and posting here so far. Today's song is Friends from Another Place! Not my most clever of titles, but it's all I got. Also, its Dance Dance Revoultionary-style! I got inspired when listening to some of the music from the dancing game that was popular some time ago, and this the song is like that kind of music!

Now, on with the fanfic!)

Chapter 16

This was a night to remember for all the guests at Melody's 13th birthday party, people from all over the kingdom had come to see the beautiful Melody Marcel turn thirteen years of age. Instead… they were witnesses to something that can only be described as incredible! Before them stood monsters, creatures they had thought only existed in myth and the imagination! And even now, these creatures were nothing like the ones in the stories they had read! And more incredible, the royal queens Ariel and her female friends who had traveled a long way to see Melody and participate in her birthday were actually being protected by said beasts and looking rather relieved and comforted to be by such monsters. The royal mothers were once hostages to the infamous Monster bandits and their leader Shadowsneak, who had somehow managed to break free from his cell. Thanks to the monsters, they were now free and close to their saviors.

Now, the monsters had charged in full steam and were now battling with the human bandits! Eric, who had witnessed his wife getting taken hostage and now rescued, leapt into action. He turned to his captains, including Jackson Dashboard, and ordered "Captains, guards! Keep the people away from the courtyard! Those… those creatures are fighting the bandits! When they get distracted, see if you can rescue our wives!". The captains saluted to their king and ordered everyone to stay back, using their bayonets to herd the guests out of the danger zone and towards the castle. However, the little ones were complaining on wanting to stay and cheer the monsters on. Melody and the others royal children, with Oliver and Hadrian by their side, had something different in mind. Rather then go with their parents, the kids decided to STAY outside and be with their bonded!

"Kids?! What are you doing?! Get back here now!" Florian exclaimed, him and the fathers plus their guests from the village and across the land wondering why they were going into the fray rather then stay out of it.

Kathrin turned to her father and stated firmly and for all to hear, "I'm sorry everyone, but Godzilla and the others need our help! I'm sorry to disobey you and head to danger… but I must help our friends!". With that, she turned around and joined her royal companions to go and help out the monsters from another universe.

Florian was stunned by this, his own daughter disobeying him and willingly going into danger to help out her friends… and she referred to the monsters as her friends. "What?! She… she calls those creatures her friends?! And what was it that she just called it?!" he whispered in awe, and he was not alone. The fathers were also surprised to see that their flesh and blood went willingly out to a serious battle, and the parents of Oliver and Hadrian were also stunned to see their own child go into danger.

Sarah Brown, who was near King Eric, squealed in delight and shouted out, "Go get them, Mothra! Show those mean bad guys who is boss!".

Joshua and David, who were beside their own parents, also called out, "Go Anguirus! Smash those bandits with your spines!".

Carlitos, who stood beside his sister Regina, and who was close to King Philip, exclaimed, "Go Rodan! Blow those mean people away with your wings!".

And Regina exclaimed loudly after her brother's exclamation, "Go Godzilla! Show them all that you are the King of the Monsters!". The forty-plus children that had went with Melody and her royal group yesterday were all yelling and cheering for the monsters, and Eric was just outright confused on what was going on. He saw through the window that his wife and the others made no attempts to run towards the castle, but rather… they stayed behind on the edge of the courtyard, also seemingly cheering for the beasts as well!

'What is going on here?! What are these names I'm hearing now?! Why are the children acting so familiar with these creatures?! And Melody and the others too! Why…?!' Eric thought, his own thoughts similar to the ones running through the heads of the royal fathers. The prince of Sennen then looked at one of his captains, Jackson Dashboard, and saw that the captain looked at the scene with serious eyes as he stood there. His men were keeping the party guests away from the action, but it seemed he made no attempt at going outside to try and rescue his wife and the other mothers.

Eric walked towards the captain of his Royal Guard and exclaimed, "Captain Dashboard, you know something about this, am I right?! You know what's going on here?!". The king was just eager for answers now, and it seemed that the night's craziness was now catching up with him. Eric then remembered the reports he and the others got some time ago from interrogation officer, and now he saw that the descriptions they told him about were accurate. He was now wondering on how he forgot about such details, and a little voice in the back of his head told him he forgot due to his daughter's upcoming party.

The soldier of honor looked to his leader, then he looked at the battle outside. Jackson answered, "I know a little, your Highness. Not everything, though. That is something you need to ask your wife and child. But rest assured, my Liege. I do know this… those bandits are going to wish they stayed in their cells. Those Monster bandits are going to get a taste on what real monsters can do!". Eric was again surprised by this response, seeing that his captain only knew a little and that apparently Ariel and Melody knew more. He looked back at the action, and he knew he was going to have a LONG talk with his wife and daughter.

Now with the royal children and their two local friends, they had managed to get through the action and towards their mothers. Melody hugged Ariel tightly, just as the other mothers hugged their flesh and blood tight as well. Oliver and Hadrian looked on, proud to see that the bonds of family were strong with this group. Melody asked her mother, "Mom! Are you alright?! Did they hurt you?!". The beautiful redhead queen simply smiled and said that she was fine, but her face turned serious when she and the others saw Godzilla now engaged in combat with Shadowsneak and his bandits. Ariel stated that they needed to help the monsters, both with the bandits and with their husbands after this little battle. The others agreed with her, and they all came together to think of some kind of plan to aid their bonded beasts.

Oliver suggested, "We don't have much to work with, but perhaps we can use the courtyard floor to our advantage! As far as I can see, we do have some ammunition.". He pointed to a table that was still upright nearby, and it was filled with many delectable delights like cake and such. Hadrian also pointed to a table that had some large bowls that still had some punch and other liquids in them.

Tracy nodded her head and said, "Okay then! Like Oliver said, we need to use what we have! Let's see what we can cook up! Each of us, go to your bonded monster and let's help them out!". The group nodded in agreement, the boys Mainard and Edgard all excited and ready to step up to the plate! Oliver stated that he would aid Kathrin and Snow White, while Hadrian would aid Mainard and Belle. The group then finalized their quick plans and sprang into action!

Back on the courtyard floor, the human bandits were having their hands full with each monster. Shadowsneak was going one-on-one with Godzilla himself, the slippery character dodging and evading quickly the monster's claw and bite strikes! While he was dealing with the saurian, two of his own men took on one monster. The master thief was very glad to be nimble and agile, his speed and reflexes helping him in staying one step ahead of the King of the Monster's attacks. Shadowsneak thought, 'This beast is more quicker then I gave him credit for! Despite his size, he is surprisingly fast! Good thing I'm meant for speed, not strength!'. The leader of the bandit group leapt under a table to escape the wrath of Godzilla, but the saurian simply punched said table in half! Though small in size, his strength was still great enough to perform such a feat. If he could throw bears with such ease, breaking a table was mere child's play. Shadowsneak had to crawl from table to table, wanting to buy some time in order to think of a plan to try and escape from this nightmare. As kept crawling from table to table, Godzilla merely smashed the wooden shields to bits or knocking them clear from the courtyard with a swipe of his tail. Needless to say, the beast was roaring in annoyance! The King of the Monsters had faced many opponents, and not once did any of them try to leave before a fight started. Even the humans in their metal crafts of destruction at least tried to fight him, and this pathetic human being was not even trying to fight back! The saurian growled in agitation, now wanting very much to just swat this pest like the bug he was.

With Mothra, she was having her own problems with two of the bandits. They each had chairs out to her, similar to how a lion tamer would hold their chair out to the lion. They each yelled out, "Back! Back you beast! Back!". The Queen of the Monsters squeaked in annoyance, wanting to spray the thugs with her webbing. But, she was smart and realized that using her webbing would be of little use. With the chairs held out like that, they would act as a shield and her silk webs would not touch the bad humans. It would weigh down the chairs some, yes. But she sensed that these humans were quite clever, and would think of something quick. Also, her silk could be misdirected and be sent into the group of humans that were now inside the large stone structure. So for now, Mothra was forced to be on the defensive. The bandits were cackling, thinking they had the huge brown worm on the ropes. Though they could not find weapons like sword and such, the sharp objects in the hands of the soldiers, they had to make do with what they had. They used the chairs as shields, and sharp knives they found on the tables as mini-daggers. Comedic, yes it would be in someone's eyes. But for now, it was all they had.

Mothra thrashed her head at them, trying to knock the chairs off of their hands. Sadly, the bandits leapt back at her swinging head and tried for more poking attacks with their chairs. One of them turned to his buddy and exclaimed, "Ha! This worm ain't so tough! It got us by surprise last time, but now we got it on the ropes!". His partner cackled, his laughter a painful sound for the eardrums. He replied that he was wondering if they could capture this beast and use it to commit more robberies on the road. The Twin Fairies, who were hiding atop their guardian's head, bristled at that notion! They knew very well that Mothra would rather die then to commit any kind of acts of evil. The bandits were so preoccupied with their target that they failed to see three people slowly closing in from behind them. It was Snow White and Kathrin, and they were carrying one of the large punch bowls that was sloshing a bit with fruit punch. Beside Kathrin was Oliver/Olujimi, and he looked to be prepared for anything. The young African boy looked to the two royal maidens, and all nodded their heads. It seemed that they had come up with a plan, and now they were hoping it would work.

"Okay, Kathrin. Are you read?" Snow White whispered, very nervous and excited for doing something daring and dangerous.

Her daughter replied, "I'm ready, Mother! On the count of three! One… two… three!". When the word 'three' left the lips of Kathrin Rhoda, the two heaved the punch bowl at the feet of the bandits! The red liquid flew through the air, and splashed on the floor tiles. The bandits did not hear them, and this was good in this case. The two knuckleheads tried to move to another position to keep Mothra at bay, when their feet made contact with the fruit punch on the ground! The watery fruit juice made the floor where they were at very slippery, and the bad duo made surprised yelling noises as they did a sort of comedic act on trying to stay upright and not slipping down. In a few moments though, gravity and lack of traction won out as the two bumbling bandits fell to the floor with a loud thud! The children, the teens and some of the adults inside the palace who saw this act laughed, giggled and chuckled at seeing such a sight. Snow White and Kathrin smiled at the sight, very much glad to see that their plan worked and getting a rather funny view of it. The royal duo then saw some cupcakes that were left on the tables, probably left by some children when Shadowsneak entered the scene earlier.

One of the bandits managed to get up and yelled in aggravation, "What in blue blazes was that?! What fool put punch on the floor?!". He was trying to remain steady on his feet, but it wasn't easy. His answer soon came when he heard someone call out to him, and he turned… to get a good large cream-topped cupcake in the face! His partner looked up from the floor to see Queen Snow White and Princess Kathrin now hurling cupcakes at his friend, and it seemed that the mini-desserts were useful ammo as they blinded the fiend pretty good. When the fool tried to wipe the sugary goodness off of his face, he forgot that his feet were still in slippery territory, and he stumbled comically again before landing on his back. Snow White and Kathrin kept up the pressure, flinging any kind of dessert that was left on the tables at their foe.

The bandit who remained untouched by the assault tried to get up, and once he did he was about to proceed towards the royalty. However, a yell got his attention and he saw Oliver/Olujimi behind him. The black-skinned hero had made his way around them while they were distracted, and grabbed one of the red cloth covers that were on one of the tables. He thought, 'My father told me of a sport he saw when he and mother were traveling to this place. He said it was called… umm… ah! Bullfighting! He saw it in a place called Spain one time, and he told me what it entailed. Well… I better hope that this works on these fools as it does for the bulls!'. He called out to the bandit, and he was glad that he got the thief's attention. He waved the red cloth to the adult, and some of the guests inside the palace who were seeing the action, commented that the young man was doing what matadors did in Spain.

"Hey, bandit! Come on! Over here! Umm… what was it…? Ah, yes! Toro! Toro!" Oliver exclaimed, taunting the bully bandit with the red cloth. The bandit saw red, in more ways than one!

He exclaimed hotly, "How dare you make light of a Monster bandit?! We are the most feared throughout all the kingdom! I'll teach you a lesson on what happens when you try to make a fool out of us!". He charged at the African boy, all thoughts on maiming the kid entering into his mind. However, there were two problems with this kind of method. One, he and his partners were already made fools, both by Oliver and the royal women thanks to the punch juice making them slip and slide on the floor. And now, this would be number two. Oliver just smirked as the adult charged, and just when he was upon him… he stepped aside and let the bandit hit the cloth! He released it upon impact, Oliver remembering just what his father Karl told him on what he saw in Spain. The now blinded knucklehead was running straight on through, trying to get the pesky cloth out of his front body. He kept on going, and when he managed to get the annoying cloth off of him… he ran smack dab into Mothra! The poor, foolish human did not see where he was going, and ran right into the face of one, now irked worm.

"Oh no… AHHHH!" he yelled when Mothra turned her head to the right, and just swung with all her might to knock the bandit brute far! At the same time, the other Monster bandit that was being pulverized by Kathrin and Snow White's cupcakes was now back on his feet. He was covered in cream and many assorted toppings, and he wiped some of it from his eyes. He then turned and glared at the two women, who were sadly out of ammo. They slowly backed away as the violent brute stalked towards them, more mindful of his steps though and his mind filled with thoughts of payback.

"Okay, you little smart girls! Time to show you what I do to smart girls who try to take on someone who is their superior!" he yelled as he rolled up his sleeves, apparently very ticked off at the moment. Snow White and Kathrin were terrified, but when they heard a loud yelling sound, they looked a bit up and over their mad opponent to see his friend coming down hard and fast towards him. Snow White jumped to the side quickly, pulling her daughter with her. It was good timing, as then the bandit looked behind him when heard the sound and his body was struck hard by the incoming body of his friend! The two were now piled in a heap, the impact very much taking its toll on them. Mothra crawled quickly to the two fools, and rearing up her front as much as possible, she spat out her webbing and glued the two bandits to the floor! Now that she had a clear line of sight, Mothra took the opportunity to put the bad humans in her silk webbing so they could not hurt themselves or others. Once the two were webbed up, looking like a spider sac, the large brown worm ceased her actions. She did not web up the heads, as she learned that humans needed to breathe air to survive.

Kathrin and Snow White's faces switched from fright at being stalked by the angry bandit to showing joy at the enemy now being bound and helpless. They, along with Oliver cheered as they went towards Mothra. The Twin Fairies made themselves known, and all of them were celebrating their mini-victory. "That was excellent teamwork you showed out there! You all should be very proud of yourselves." the mystical beings spoke as one. The three looked at one another, then at the webbed up bad guys, and saw that the twins did have a point. They braved danger and performed quite admirably in real battle, granted it was against two low-level thugs, but still… quite an accomplishment. The three held big smiles, and nodded in agreement with the mystical retainers of Mothra. However, they heard the sound of their comrades nearby and decided to put their little celebration on hold.

"We'll leave these two fools there. Come on, we still got some work to do!" Oliver stated. The queen and princess nodded and went to where the others were at, Mothra following close behind. Captain Jackson, bearing witness to the entire event along with the Oxen family, saw that the young lad had potential and showed excellent ingenuity and courage in the face of danger. He thought that the young black-skinned hero would make a fine soldier, perhaps even a captain in the ranks, after some training of course.

While Mothra had some problems with the two bandit pests, Rodan was in the same league. He squawked and screeched at the two humans, who had picked up some chairs to attack the giant pteranodon with. Instead of the technique their comrades used against Mothra, they swung the wooden chairs like clubs. These two particular bandits were slightly stronger then the ones who went up against the guardian of the planet Earth, so swinging the large chairs was child's play for them. Rodan was flapping his wings at the two, trying to knock them off their feet. The huge gusts of wind did blow them back a bit, but it wasn't enough as they squatted down and stayed low until the flapping stopped. The master of the skies tried to peck at them with his beak, or swing his wings at them to try and knock the chairs out from their hands. The humans were quick to dodge the strikes, and this was becoming an annoyance to the flier. Rodan knew he could fly up and try a strike, but doing so might have caused some damage to the structure the humans were in, and that could wind up hurting them. Normally back in his own world, he would disregard the humans quick as long as such a maneuver would gain him victory or an advantage. But he saw the little ones that came to see and play with him were in the building, and like the others, a soft spot was growing within his being towards the human child. So, Rodan was forced to use ground measures against his foes.

"Hahaha! Get a load of this! This big flying freak is just standing there, trying to knock us off our feet and such! He doesn't want to fly away! I bet he wants to keep those namby-pamby geeks in the castle safe!" one of the bandits shouted to his friend in wicked delight, and his comrade replied in an equally malevolent tone that Rodan was a total sap and sissy for having such emotions for a monster. The big bullies were so preoccupied with the monster in front of them, they did not see the three beings coming around to their backside. It was Edgard, Dianne, and Aurora! The three royals had frowns on their faces, very much angry on what these miscreants had stated about their bonded. Edgard and Dianne were especially furious, and in their hands were tree branches. Aurora had one in her hands too. The trio had searched the outer areas, and were able to find something to use as weapons. Edgard's branch had no leaves, but it was thick enough to be labeled as a potential club. The trio sneaked up behind the snickering bandits, and that is when they made their move!

Edgard yelled out, "You two want to make fun of something? Look in a mirror!". The two insulted bandits turned around to make a remark, but they found themselves in different situations. The minor villain on the left found his face being covered in leaves, and his head was now being pounded on by Aurora and Dianne like a drummer would practice on his drums! Edgard went on the offensive quick, nailing the bandit on the right with swift strike to the stomach! This caused the brute to drop the chair he had been using, and the prince started to deliver some overhead blows to the poor fools body. He had taken some fencing and sword lessons from his father Philip, and even though he was intermediate at best, he was still able to deliver some precise strikes with some power behind him while keeping his distance from the low-level bandit. After some time, the bad guy managed to get his wits back together and glared at the prince as he stood proud and sure. He picked up a chair, broke off one of its legs, and held it up like a really crude sword.

"Okay, you little pipsqueak! You want to play with the big boys? Fine then! Let me show you how to REALLY strike down an annoying pest!" the embarrassed villain growled out before he charged at Edgard, the prince leaping away and retreating a distance. But, he didn't go too far as for the bumbling bandit to lose interest in him. He taunted and teased the angry fool, wanting his foe to focus on him. As he led the bandit away, he saw that his sister and mother were doing alright with the other villain.

As Aurora and Dianne kept smacking their foe with their branches, the leaves on the other end nearly smothering his face, they unknowingly found a weakness to him. In this part of the country, there were some plants called Stinging Nettles, leaves that had tiny, needle-like hairs that when brushed upon, would break off and sting the one who brushed up against them. It would cause the sensation of the burning itch and rash, and unfortunately for the brute… he was allergic to those kinds of plants! The bandit grabbed the branches together in his right hand, and the two women could not wrench their weapons loose from the large male villain. He yanked the branches out of their hands and threw them down, and he looked very angry at the two. Aurora put Dianne behind her, attempting to sacrifice her well-being to protect her daughter. The bandit chuckled and started to say, "Well, ain't this a pretty sight! Going to use yourself as a shield, eh your Majesty? Well, I…". He stopped mid-sentence when he felt the burning sensation on his face, lifting his left hand to feel it. He was starting to be confused, as he swore his cheeks had just expanded. And he was starting to itch on his face like crazy!

"H-Hey! What's happening? Why does my face feel all funny?! And why… why do I itch so much?!" he exclaimed in confusion and a bit of fright, not having felt this before since he was a child. Aurora and Dianne saw the reaction as well, and they were a bit surprised to see the brute's face swelling up as it was. Dianne thought that the bandit's face looked like a cherry that was a bit overripe. Aurora found a silverware top, like the ones put on fancy dishes before taking it off to expose said food to the world, and held it up. The bandit saw that his face was swelling up, his head now looking like a cherry with brown hair! The foe yelled in anger and pain, scratching at his face while hopping up and down like a madman. Apparently, the allergic reaction was more severe then one thought. He REALLY wanted the burning, itching and swelling to stop and he was doing anything he could to stop the pain. Aurora and Dianne looked as the bumbling beetroot-faced bandit ran smack into trouble… Rodan! The giant pteranodon saw that his foe was now unarmed, and apparently gone crazy from whatever his bonded did to him. He picked up the goon by the scruff of his shirt, and tossed the surprised human away like it was garbage! The fool flew through the air, and landed in one of the fountains that was on the property grounds. Lucky for him, he missed the concrete centerpiece, and landed in the water. It did little to stop the itching and swelling, though.

Aurora and Dianne Valentin were at first surprised by Rodan's appearance, then very happy to see their monster coming in to save them! They smiled at waved at the giant flying dinosaur, saying thank you to him for the help. He gently squawked at them from his place, then he heard the yelp of his other bonded, the male child Edgard! He and the women looked to their left to see Edgard now pinned down on a table by the bandit, disarmed and also looking a bit frightened yet also showing some determination and pride at now showing his fear as one would be at his age. He and his foe had danced around for some time, and Edgard was doing his best to keep his foe focused on him so he could lead him away from his mother and sister. It worked, but he found out the hard way that brute strength was sometimes the key when speed and agility just could not cut it. The bandit had managed to knock his thick branch from his hands, and now picked up and slammed the royal prince on one of the tables. The brute took out a knife from his boot and sneered at the struggling pre-teen. He stated harshly, "Any last words, boy?".

Edgard then looked behind the bandit, and his defiant face became a smirk. He answered, "I got one thing to say to you, ugly! Goodbye!". The bandit was confused on what he meant by that, and suddenly some pain shot up through his arm! He yelled out loudly, and turned to see that grabbing him by the arm was Rodan! It seemed that the goon was so focused on the boy, he lost sight of the real trouble. The giant pternaodon grabbed the evil human by the arm with his beak, the arm that held the knife, and bit down hard to do two things. One, was to force the bad human to drop the weapon, which clattered to the ground harmlessly. Edgard got up from the table and went to his mother and sister, the trio seeing their bonded lift the big bandit like he was nothing! The second thing was to toss this foolish human far away, and so he did. The thug yelled in terror as he was tossed into the woods, which was a bit surprising considering the forest was a bit aways from their position. Still, it was a good toss and the brutish bandit was soon knocked out upon hitting the top tree! Though of course, he tumbled down a tall tree that had multiple thick branches on it, so he kind of resembled a human pinball at the moment before hitting ground.

Aurora checked her son and asked, "Edgard, are you alright? Do you hurt anywhere?". Normally, the young prince and other boys his age would be a bit embarrassed about their moms checking on them like this in such a manner. But at this point, he didn't mind. He knew that if things went differently, there would be a hole in his upper body. And also, he learned that when mothers do this, it showed they really cared.

He replied, "No, Mother. I'm all right… just my pride being a little banged up more then my body.". Aurora smiled truly then, seeing that her son was indeed in one piece and speaking the truth. His pride was like his father's; never refusing to back down from a fight, and pride just a little battered after losing from any kind of scuffle. Still, he was in good health and his sister showed her happiness by hugging him tight. She too was glad her brother was alright, the bond between siblings quite strong. Rodan looked at his bonded and screeched at them softly, asking in his own way if they were okay. The trio turned to their flying friend and waved, each of them saying that they were okay. Satisfied that his three bonded humans were alive and well, Rodan turned to see if any of his allies needed some assistance. He turned to his left to see Anguirus having his own problems with the humans, and went over to see if he could be of any help. Aurora, Edgard and Dianne went with their giant guardian, wanting to see if they could be of help as well.

Anguirus was having some time with the annoying bad humans before him. These particular bandits managed to grab some of the sharp utensils that were near a table, the kind that chefs used to cut through thick and/or tough meat. It was not much when compared to the sabers that the guards had on them, but it was better than nothing. Now while these two were more slim and not as strong as their fellow bandits, they did have some skills when it came to weapons and also their slight of size were an advantage in this case. They had been under Springy's watch for some time, and learned some of his tactics and techniques. Such as this, hopping around the monster and making sure they had enough distance between them so that his jaws would not be able to reach them. Also made sure to either duck or jump when Anguirus tried for a tail swipe attack, and roll or jump away whenever he tried to hit them with his shell. The clever bandits also made sure to not go anywhere near his spikes, for they knew that those sharp things would easily pierce right through their skin. So the hopped around like Springy, taking slashes and swipes with their sharp tools at the beast. Thankfully for Anguirus, his skin was thick enough to withstand some serious injuries. Still, two bad humans were annoying him like gnats and he roared in aggravation.

One of the cocky bandits hollered to his partner after dodging a claw swipe, "Hahaha! This dumb beast is too slow! It can't hit us, but we can hit him! Hahaha! This is kinda fun!". His equally arrogant bandit buddy replied in wicked delight that this was indeed fun, attacking a foe that could not counter or hit back at them! The foolish duo laughed, so focused on teasing Anguirus with their antics, they failed just like the others to notice what was around them… or in this case, behind them. Belle and Mainard, along with Hadrian/Hazael, were sneaking up on them with some unusual weapons. Belle had a large strawberry cake in her hands, while Mainard and Hadrian held pitchers of ice-cold water. The Arabian boy showed that he was well trained in the art of stealth, having learned from his parents… and also in his younger days, trying to sneak into the kitchen to get some snacks without his mother or father knowing. Mainard also had some practice when it came to sneaking about, his stealth skills tested by both his father and the servants like Lumière and Cogsworth whenever he tried to make some mischief in the castle. However… his mother Belle always seemed to know where he would be or pop up, which made the lad wonder if she had a sixth sense or something. And it would appear that while these two bandits had been training under Springy, they did not learn under Shadowsneak such as the art of being aware of their surroundings and such.

In any case, they were upon their targets when Hadrian nodded his head… and the three went into action! Belle slammed the strawberry cake on the head of the bandit on the left, while Mainard dumped the icy cold liquid contents shortly after! The bandit was left stunned, his vision now obscured by strawberry frosting and also a moderate pain now on top of his head. Plus, the water was ice-cold and it made him yelp a little at the contact. Mainard knew that the water would make the floor beneath the bandit slippery, and thus he would lose mobility for his jumping techniques. This proved true when the bumbling fool turned around to try and see what hit him, only for his feet to slip and slide like crazy! He yelled out in indignation, trying to maintain balance but he only lasted for a moment or two before he slipped and fell on his back hard. The prince and queen winced, knowing that kind of fall would hurt any being. His partner turned to see what happened, and he too was met with a pitcher full of icy water when Hadrian threw it in his face! The distraction worked, as the fool tried to maintain his balance now on the slippery floor. Hadrian smirked as he lashed out with his right foot, tripping the bad guy onto his back just like his partner.

"Oops. Now how could that have happened?" he stated with a confident smirk, Belle giggling while Mainard chuckled a little. Their little victory and laughter were short-lived, when the one that Belle decked in the head with the cake rose up, his eyes now free of frosting and he looked mighty ticked off on the royals and a local boy making a fool out of him and his friend.

"Grrr! Now you three have made me mad! I'm gonna grind you up and throw you away!" he exclaimed angrily, and he would have carried out his threat if Belle had not acted quickly. The beautiful mother was quick on the draw, years of experience coming into play whenever she had to avoid some of her son's… more inventive pranks. She took the glass pitcher that was in her son's hand, and smashed it on the side of the bandits face! Mainard and Hadrian were a bit surprised by her action, and impressed on her reaction when she did the deed. The low-level thief's world was rocked, as the pitched smashed upon impact and cut up his face due to the broken glass. The cuts were superficial, just small here and there. It was the impact of said glass to the face that rocked his world, the brute now seeing stars in his face. He stumbled back a bit, holding his face as he moaned in pain. He didn't look where he was going and… his back was now up against something solid. His hands reached back to feel what it was… and that is when he felt hot breath, and a pointed spike. He was now back-to-snout with Anguirus, and the monster growled in what seemed to be delight. He now had the ones who teased him earlier with their small but sharp weapons, and he was going to repay them back fully! He grabbed the goon by the scruff of his shirt, and with a yell, tossed the bad human high through the air!

"AHHHHH!" he exclaimed as he went high in the sky, then dropped back down fast like a stone! Fortunately for him, down below was a bright red canopy tent that was set up to protect the cakes and such that were for Melody and her guests. The bad news… the canopy's roof was not very durable, and upon impact, he passed right through and landed in the middle of a huge chocolate cake with white frosting on it! Inside the palace, the little ones were bemoaning the loss of some fine cake that they earlier wanted to eat. Chef Louie was almost having a stroke, the destruction of his most creative culinary masterpieces ruined. Anguirus roared in victory, seeing that the annoying human was now out of the picture. The brute was old cold, covered in chocolate delight. His partner saw the entire thing as he rose up, and soon he saw Anguirus's gaze turn to him!

"Oh boy… I need to run!" he said to himself before he tried to beat feet and retreat. He knew he was deserting his leader, but at this point in time, it was better for him to run away now then get his bottom kicked around by the monstrous spike-shelled beast. However, his feet were slipping and sliding everywhere. The floor beneath him was still very much wet, and thus he had lost some serious traction. He kept slipping and sliding, and he was not gaining much distance from Anguirus has he had hoped.

Mainard exclaimed, "Go, Anguirus! Knock that goon out of the party!". Belle sent similar sentiments, Hadrian too. Their friend roared and swiftly turned around for a tail swipe! The bandit would have jumped over it, but he knew that if he tried, he wouldn't get much air time due to less friction and traction he was getting on the slippery floor. He closed his eyes and braced himself, expecting some big pain coming his way and he was not disappointed. The tail connected with a loud SMACK sound, and the bandit was sent flying into the air! He flew for some time until he slammed into a tree at the edge of the woods, and the bad human slumped down out cold. Anguirus roared in victory while Mainard and Hadrian did the same. Belle clapped her hands, showing a proud smile and delight that victory was now truly theirs. She went to the monster and petted his snout, the best friend of Godzilla softly growling in delight. He really liked the female human when she petted his snout.

Belle's son groaned and complained, "Mom! He's a ferocious beast! Not a common pet!". Belle just giggled at her son and said that Anguirus liked it, and the monster did indeed like the petting. Mainard could only groan, and Hadrian smirked at the scene. The little tender moment was over when they heard a familiar roar… the roar of Godzilla! The group looked to their right, and then their left to see the others coming towards them.

Hadrian stated, "Everyone, let's go see what's going on with Godzilla!". All of them nodded their heads and went to the direction where the sound came from, wondering on what was going on.

While the party guests and the royal fathers were in the palace, they did not see that someone was sneaking outside in the courtyard, keeping to the woods and shadows. It was William, son of Jackson Dashboard and now a trainee in his military company. The young man was still quite bitter about his current predicament. Just his first day at military life, and he was already wishing either death or an early release. He was REALLY not used to being woken up harshly when there was barely daylight in the morning, forced to get dressed in dirty military clothing, racing with other trainees to get to a wet field, doing long hours of exercises that he barely could keep up with, and so on and so forth. His body was still racked with pain from the exercises that his own father forced him to do, and the captain was quite the stern teacher. In fact, it seemed he was more stern and hard on him then the other trainees. He was also forced to go into the village this morning with his six noble friends to make a public apology to the citizens, the ones he and the others leaned on quite hard in order to get what they wanted. And also to the little ones whom they had tormented and teased for some time now. For him and his friends, it was the MOST embarrassing and humiliating moment of their lives, to apologize to the lower class. Though his noble comrades got off easy, according to him at least.

Although his father forbade him to participating in Melody's birthday celebration after training, he did look from afar and was soon surprised when he saw the monsters come in from the forest to stop Shadowsneak and his bandits! Normally, if the monsters were not there, he would have turned his head and walked away, letting the bandits get away with the queens. But now, it seemed that an opportunity had presented itself to him, his devious mind still scheming despite the physical pain he was in after one day of training. He thought, 'I'll wait till those beasts finish off those pesky bandits and their leader, then I'll come in and try to convince the masses that the monsters are enemies and the royal family summoned them here to get to their children! Also, I'll tell them about the spell they used on me, and subtly twist around to my favor. I think…'. His line of thought would have continued had it not been for said spell of the Twin Fairies taking into effect, which was a powerful throb of pain to his head. Though it lasted for about a moment, to William it lasted for a great deal longer.

He shook his head to clear it and got his plan into action! First, he managed to sneak into the armory that he was near his location. Fortunately for him, and not for the rest of the people, the guard had left the keys on the small hook near the door. The guard had left to do his duty at the party, and believed that the inside of the palace was secure and that no one would be around to take the keys. Sadly, the guard's little assumption proved to be his undoing later on. Will took the keys, got two sabers out from the armory, and closed the door before locking it again and putting the keys back on the hook. He wanted to make sure that the room was just the way he left it, so no one would be suspicious. He then left the room quickly and ran downstairs, going out the back door and sneaking around at the edge of the courtyard, sticking to the dark woods as he saw the royal families and the two local boys helping the monsters fight the bandits. He shook his head, wondering why the royals would be so foolish as to risk their necks for such monstrosities. He then came to where he saw Godzilla fighting with Shadowsneak, or more accurately trying to strike the master thief who kept dodging his attacks. The leader of the Monster bandits did not have a weapon to use against the saurian, thus the leaping and dodging of the claws, teeth, and tail swipes.

"Okay, got to time this just right… I catch Shadowsneak by surprise, take him down, and try to turn the crowd to my side. And… now!" William said to himself before leaping out of the woods, Shadowsneak's back turned to him. However, he did not see something that should have been calculated in his plans. Due to his fatigue from earlier, any kind of extreme or sudden movements on muscles that were already weak from over-strenuous exercise would spasm or not work in the way you wanted to. He made a yell as he charged at Shadowsneak, who turned around and was mildly surprised by this surprise attack. Or… it would have been an attack had not Will's left leg gave out. The foolish teenage lad tripped on his own feet, and stumbled down… the sabers sliding loose from his hands and stopping perfectly at Shadowsneak's feet. The evil mastermind of the bandits looked down, then smiled wickedly at the trainee as he picked up the swords. The ones in the castle who saw this were clearly upset as the son of Jackson Dashboard just handed the kingdom's most wanted man weapons! Said captain was shaking his head, shame and anger on his face. He was already thinking on ways to discipline his son for this foolish act. Even the royal fathers and guards were just stunned and perplexed on why their own solider had just given the enemy an edge now.

Shadowsneak laughed as he glanced down at Will and said, "My, my. Thank you for the gift, lad! Now, it is time I put these swords to better use then you did!". The master thief had changed, from coward to formidable foe as he actually charged at Godzilla. The King of the Monsters was now glad to see that the human had grown a spine, and even though the male human had two weapons, he was going to fight! Instinct was now rushing over him, and his body was now ready to rumble!

Will's face was one of horror and fear, his plans evaporating like warm water on a very hot stony sidewalk. He turned as his body readjusted himself, using what seemed to be a reverse crabwalk, his face looking at the dueling foes while he was retreating. He wanted to get away from the action, when a sound caused him to turn his head to the left… and saw two fists colliding with his face! It was Melody and Tracy, and those two princesses looked pretty upset and ticked off at the teenage boy. Ariel and Cinderella looked disapprovingly at Will, and the teenager was clutching his nose in pain as the combined punches of the princess duo was a little more then he could handle. He was also stunned to learn the hard way on just how strong the combined hits were. He knew that Melody had some strength in her limbs due to constant exercise and such, but he didn't realize that she was this strong. Tracy and Melody wanted to deliver some more punishment to the foolish teen, but a gentle but firm hand on their shoulders told them to halt their actions and way of thinking. It was their mothers, and they shook their heads at them. Ariel stated, "We will deliver Will to his father for punishment, but first… we need to find out on how to help Godzilla.".

The five humans turned to see that Shadowsneak was actually a skilled swordsman. With the two sabers in each hand, he danced and dashed around Godzilla, slicing through his tough skin with his blades while maintaining some good footwork to make sure to avoid his angry claw swipes and bite attacks. Though his skin was very tough, the metal in the sabers was decent enough to make a cut, and Shadowsneak was a good swordsman to slice quickly and precisely before getting away. Godzilla roared in anger as he tried to grab his enemy, but the human was very nimble and agile. This kept up for a few minutes, and the master thief saw an opportunity to try and finish off the saurian. He waited until Godzilla came in for a body strike, rushing in so he could try and slam him with his own massive bulk. The bandit leader then side-stepped the attack, and actually leaped onto the King of the Monsters! Godzilla roared in severe aggravation as he tried to shake Shadowsneak off of him, but the bad bandit was like a tick was on a dog. He just refused to let go! He held on tight as he climbed up, using the dorsal spines as some sort of holding latch. As he climbed up, he used his free hand to slice and hack at Godzilla's back! The monster roared in pain, as the slashes were strong enough to penetrate through his back hide. Fortunately for the monster, the brute did not cut any of the dorsal spines. Shadowsneak continued to climb up… and Melody and Tracy saw that the master thief's target was Godzilla's head!

They started to run to Godzilla, but Ariel and Cinderella had a good grip on them. Mrs. Charming stated, "Girls, hold on! We need to come up with a plan to help Godzilla! What do you think you will accomplish by just running in with no plan?!".

Tracy and Melody turned to their mothers, and the adults flinched a little at seeing the fierce, hard stares that were now upon them. Ariel thought that they looked like Godzilla, with that piercing stare of theirs. Melody answered back, "We don't know, but we got to do something!". With a burst of strength that they didn't even know they had, they got loose from their mother's grips and ran towards Godzilla! The two started to now climb on his back, making their way to Shadowsneak, who did not even see them. Ariel and Cinderella tried to stop them, but they had to scoot back to avoid the saurian's thrashing tail. The two were soon joined by the others, their bonded monsters staying back from Godzilla. Oliver and the other humans were just amazed at the boldness of Melody and Tracy, while the others inside the palace just thought they were crazy to do such a stunt like this!

Oliver and Mainard thought, 'Melody/Tracy are courageous! Reckless, but courageous!'. The African hero was thinking that towards Melody, while Mainard was thinking about the same thing only with Tracy.

Shadowsneak was smiling in wicked delight, now ready to deliver the final blow! He held the two sabers together, now both looking like a pike of silver. He exclaimed, "HAHAHAHA! So now, ends the beast! Goodbye, pitiful fool!". He was about to strike down, when he felt searing pain on both his shoulders. He yelled out in pain and agony and turned to see that latched onto his right shoulder was Princess Melody Marcel, the one he tried to take some days ago! He then shortly felt pain on his other shoulder, and turned to see that it was Tracy! Both had climbed up to the top near Godzilla's head, and upon seeing the bandit prepared to send the sabers straight down into their friend's head… they saw red! With fury that was a sight to see, and a strength that surprised even them, they yelled out "NOOO!" before leaping and latching onto the master thief! Instinct took over, and the two bit down HARD on Shadowsneak's shoulders! All were now amazed at the level of tenacity and fury that the little princesses showed, the humans seeing that these ladies would go this far to try and protect/help their friend. Shadowsneak struggled, trying to get the crazy females off of him. However, they fought back and it seemed that was what caused Shadowsneak to lose his footing.

"AHHHHH!" he yelled as he and the two ladies fell down to the ground! They tumbled off the King of the Monsters, and landed near his leg upon impact! Ariel and Cinderella went to see if their children were alright, and thankfully, they were. The two had managed to let go of their enemy and turned a bit so they landed on him like an impromptu pillow of sort. The mothers helped them up, and took them a bit of a ways from the downed thief. They looked them over, asking if they were alright and if anything hurt. Melody and Tracy said that they were okay, a little banged up from the fall, but okay.

Cinderella spoke, "Thank God that you two are alright! You two could have gotten killed!". They looked down a bit, knowing that the blonde beauty was correct. However, a new voice got their attention.

"Correction. You all WILL be killed!" Shadowsneak whispered menacingly, rising up slowly with his sabers in hand. The mothers pulled their daughters close to them, and the others were held back by the queens who did not want their little ones and friends to be hurt or worse.

The bruised, and slightly bleeding on both shoulders, master thief continued, "You know… I had planned to get you all as hostages after I finished with this monster. But now, I think it's just better this way to take your heads! Any last words?". He stalked towards them, and raised up his sabers to strike them down! Ariel and Cinderella then pulled their daughters back and showed their backs to Shadowsneak… they were preparing to sacrifice themselves, to take the blow for them! The whole world seemed to go in slow motion as the deadly blades descended on the two royal women… but the swords never touched the backs of Ariel or Cinderella. In fact, everyone saw that the tips of the blades were only centimeters from coming contact with the skin. The women, including Melody and Tracy, turned around to see that Shadowsneak had stopped. It seemed that he was now being held in place, something gripping him tightly as he held the blades. The swords fell down with a clank as the bad human let them go, and the master thief was then slowly lifted off the ground and now face-to-face with a VERY ticked off King of the Monsters… Godzilla!

Eric and Asce were having near heart-attacks, seeing their wives escape death, and all thanks to the green-skinned saurian! It seemed that Godzilla had seen the exchange, and had grabbed Shadowsneak by the waist with his claw with surprising speed. He held on tightly, squeezing a little even, as he stopped the evil human from harming his bonded. He lifted the now scared fool up, and upon seeing his face, the monster ROARED loudly in Shadowsneak's face! The crowd had to cover their hears as the roar shook the land, and tested the mettle of the glass at the palace. He glared at the vile human, and Godzilla threw him fast and hard towards the forest! The human yelled in fear and pain as he collided hard with a thick, tall tree, slumping down to the ground in pain. He groaned as he looked up, his body battered and he was fighting the urge to pass out. It was a good thing too, as he saw the monster's strange dorsal spines suddenly flashing blue like lighting!

Melody's eyes widened and she yelled, "Everyone, get back! He's going to use his Radiation Death Breath!". That got the attention of the others, as they all ran back a bit to give Godzilla room. Shadowsneak heard her announcement, and knew that whatever she said could not be good. He was proven right as Godzilla then opened his mouth, and let loose a brilliant pillar of fire that was unlike anything he or anyone in this world has ever seen! He yelped in fear and panic and rolled away quick, and just in time as the blast went right THROUGH the tree and blew apart several others in a row! Shadowsneak was caught in the shockwave and thrown through the air, landing in some thick bushes that concealed his body. Though he was now out of sight, the master thief soon fell into blissful darkness, unconsciousness consuming him.

When Godzilla saw that his quarry was gone, he let out a massive victory roar! Rodan, Anguirus, and Mothra joined in, also roaring out in victory in their own unique way. When the children that went with Melody and her friends yesterday on the beach saw that the bad guys were all down and defeated, they yelled also in delight that their monstrous friends had won! They ran from the palace building, some of the kids struggling and actually biting their own parents so they could release them and go with the others to the monsters. The unique beasts turned around, and saw that the shouting and yelling were from the little humans they met yesterday. Soon, the monsters were surrounded by the small children and receiving praise and something akin to hero-worship, which was again strange to them since back in their world, their actions would receive scorn and hate from the humans. Regina hugged Godzilla's leg, saying over and over that he was incredible. Sarah Brown was with Mothra, hugging her head and saying that she did a good job in wrapping up the bandits with her webbing. David and Joshua were with Anguirus, saying that he was excellent on how he took care of the bandits. And Rodan was greeted by Carlitos, who stated that he was amazing. The royal mothers and children looked at the scene, very proud of their bonded defending them from the bandits.

However, the shouts of joy and laughter slowly died down as coming towards them were the remaining children, the entire adults and the royal fathers followed by some guards led by Captain Dashboard. However, the captain showed gratitude in his eyes towards the monsters. The 40+ children actually stood in front of the monsters, acting like a small barrier and some looking ready for a fight. It was like THEY were protecting their large friends now! Walking towards the party guests, passing the children, were the royal humans along with their two local heroes. Kathrin had gathered the Twin Fairies from Mothra's head, while Mainard and Edgard dragged a weak-struggling William with them. When they reached kind of the middle point between the adults & soldiers, and the monsters plus children, the fathers went to their beloved families, all of them with stern expressions on their faces. Eric looked to Ariel and Melody and stated, "You all better explain yourselves. And we want to hear EVERYTHING.". The two ladies sighed, knowing that now was the moment of truth. This was the part they had been hoping and praying would work out in the favor.

Melody started out, "Well Dad… it's like this. Remember the falling stars a few nights ago? Well…". She and the others then started to explain on what happened when they first met the monsters, learning from the Twin Fairies on how they got here, deciding to hide them instead of telling their parents, sneaking out to feed them early in the morning, making the plans to unite the monsters with the citizens of the kingdom, the mothers now coming into their plans, and also what happened at Sanctuary yesterday. The little ones who were protecting, in a way, the former titans also yelled out that they made the bears and wolves go away when they came. William tried to speak, wanting to spin his own version on what happened at Sanctuary. However, a glare from his father shut his mouth quickly. The teenager saw that his dad was in no mood for his words. The group then finished up, telling the events that lead to this point in time, with Captain Jackson also confirming their story since he was part of it. When they were done, Eric and the other fathers were just stunned that their wives and children had actually done such actions behind their back. Without them knowing.

Eric said, "Melody, honey. What were you thinking? Putting your trust in monsters from another world entirely? And Ariel, you and the others going behind our backs on this? And after you all heard the reports from the bandit interrogations? I mean… why take such a big risk? Both with yourselves and the people here?".

It was the Twin Fairies that spoke this time, the two asking Kathrin to put them down on the ground before the fathers. She did so, and the young lady went back to her mother's side. The mystical beings then looked up at the fathers, looking directly into Eric's eyes. They started out as one, "Please forgive them for their actions, but they felt that this kind of venture was one worth taking. Your children and wives are very much unlike the humans back in our world. They saw that there was more to the monsters then meets the eye, they felt and saw that Godzilla and the others would not harm them or any of the people here. Their actions have also changed the monsters, we would say for the better. Godzilla and his allies had not experienced any form of kindness or love from others in their world, and we believe that it is due to your families and the little ones actions that have changed their perspective on humans. So please… instead of focusing on what if's, look at the monsters and see for yourselves on what your family has been seeing for all this time.". The two bowed to them and Kathrin came to pick them up again.

The fathers looked at the three ladies, then at the monsters. Eric looked to his wife and child, who nodded at him and in a silent please, to go and look into the eyes of Godzilla and the other monsters. The prince was thoughtful for a moment, then he looked at his fellow kings and gestured with his head to follow his lead. The five walked past their wives and children, and went towards the monsters. Some of the little ones parted for them, but some of the stubborn ones remained with their gigantic friends, still wanting to protect them. Godzilla and the others growled softly, their eyes locked on the human males before them. Anguirus was now in a staring contest with the former Beast, Léandre Célestin. Mothra's sapphire eyes were now locked onto the eyes of Florian Rhoda. Rodan was now glaring at Philip Valentin. And Godzilla was staring hard at Eric Marcel and Asce Charming. The others held their breathes, hoping that everything would turn out for the best like they hoped.

When Godzilla looked into the eyes of the kings, he remembered looking into the eyes of a human back in his world, back when he was defeated that three-headed golden dragon. The person he locked eyes with back in his world was called Shindo, and he was a Japanese man who had met the saurian on an island during World War Two, back when he was a small Godzillasaurs. The two had met again later on in the future, and Godzilla remembered him as the one who saluted him when he was injured from cannon fire from U.S. ships. When they met, something passed between them. A show of respect that Godzilla rarely felt from any human. And the moment passed… before the King of the Monsters blew him and his building away with his blue fire! Now, he was locking eyes with the humans again. But Eric and Asce's eyes were different from Shindo; they showed an unflinching force of strength and courage. Godzilla saw that these two male humans would not back down if a fight were to start, and he gave them respect for that. The green-skinned giant felt something and looked down, seeing that it was Regina. The little one was clinging to Godzilla, wanting him to pick her up again. Though he could not do so at the moment, the King of the Monsters did something else. He bent down a little and put his claw near the child, who squealed in delight and clung from his leg to his claw.

The kings were surprised to see such a move, to see a child show that much love and affection for a beast like the one before them. Before their little staring contest was interrupted, Eric and Asce saw the soul of Godzilla. They saw an unbreakable will; the kind that showed that this creature would rather go down fighting then retreat, that it could take any form of pain and keep on going. They also saw an unstoppable fury within the beast, that if provoked… would unleash an unspeakable power that would cause even the most hardened of warriors or the most strongest of demons to flee for their lives. And now, they were witnesses to seeing the beast become somewhat of a gentle giant to the little girl that was now holding and swinging slightly from his claw. 'Hmmm… perhaps our wives and children saw true to them. That they are more then meets the eye.' they both thought at the same time. This moment lasted for a few minutes, before Godzilla put his claw down and Regina let go. She gave Godzilla a wave of thanks, and went back to hugging his leg.

After some time, the husbands returned to their families and were in deep thought for a moment. It was Eric that looked into the eyes of Ariel and Melody and said, "Well… I believe we have seen enough. And what I see now… is that my wife and daughter have more faith and wisdom then I. Heh, I guess this proves that women really are the better half of us men.". Ariel and the others all had wide, hopeful looks in their eyes and had smiles on their faces. The ruler of the realm could not help but return the smile, and the other royal men did the same to their wives and children. They turned around, facing the monsters again.

Eric stated clearly and for all to hear, "Godzilla… Rodan… Mothra… Anguirus! I know it is a bit late to say this, but… we welcome you to our home! Welcome to the kingdom!". The children and the adults shouted for joy, and while a few others gasped on what just occurred, a majority of the citizens went to the monsters and either bowed or waved to them. Godzilla and the others did not know what just happened entirely, but they went with the positive flow of things and roared out loud! The children roared with them, in their own cute way that had the adults and teenagers chuckling or laughing out right at their antics. Melody felt a relief and joy so powerful inside it, she just had to release it somehow! And she knew of a way. The daughter of Ariel and Eric looked to her right to see that the band players and members had emerged back from the palace, seeing that it was indeed safe to come out, and she went to them. Whispering some words to the conductor, she then went on a little platform that was still up during the little chaos that happened earlier. When she stood on top of it, and the band started to play, everyone including the monsters, turned to see her and wondering on what she was going to do. The band had learned some things from Sebastian some time ago, including on how to play in a very jazzy beat like he did when he performed Under the Sea some time ago.

She announced loudly as she could, "Everyone! I just want to say that I'm just so glad that my birthday is now officially on! My birthday wish came true, and that was for my family and friends to celebrate it along with our new friends… Godzilla and his allies! And I'm just so full of life, love and joy right now, I just have to release it like this!". That was when she started to sing.

Some say the number thirteen is quite unlucky.

But after what has happened for some time, I happily disagree!

This birthday celebration was meant only for me, but now it's so much more!

I now have good and great friends, many by the score!

I believed that would it, but through the Lord's mighty grace…

I met and found four new friends… Friends from Another Place!

As the singing and music continued, everyone was now moving and dancing to the lively beat. Though Godzilla and the monsters could not fully understand it, they felt the interesting music now moving through their own bodies! Even the Twin Fairies were dancing, on a small table and being watched over by Sarah Brown.

Friends from Another Place!

Friends from Another Place!

Their unique, special and strong!

Friends from Another Place!

Friends From Another Place!

With them by your side, nothing will ever go wrong!

Ariel and Eric were clapping to the music, their bodies moving with the beat. The former mermaid thought, 'She has such a wonderful voice, just like when I was her age! Maybe with enough practice… she could perhaps surpass me in singing! I really hope so.'. While most parents would like their children to be with them on equal terms, many wanted their young ones to surpass them, to go further then they could. And Ariel really wanted her daughter to surpass her, to see her daughter shine bright and clear for all to see!

I want to introduce to all of you our friends from another world!

Try to keep up and get it all down, or your head will spin and twirl!

Each of them are bonded to us, a friendship that will never break!

Having patience and trust, with faith and love is really all it takes!

To getting to know one another, to see what they see, and doing it face-to-face!

Now here are our Friends from Another Place!

A spotlight, thanks in part to Grimsby and Carlotta up on the palace second floor who brought to special lamps together to make said spotlight, was now shining down on Kathrin, Snow White and Mothra.

The first one to introduce is Mothra, the guardian of her land!

Though she seems cannot do much, she always loves to lend a hand!

Her retainers are the Twin Fairies, mystical women of great power!

All three do what they can to save and protect precious Mother Earth!

Kathrin and Snow White moved with Mothra, who got in the spirit of things and rose her upper body up to move with the lyrics and music! The humans were surprised by this, but it was a pleasant one and they actually cheered the three ladies on! The spotlight then moved from them to Rodan, who was with Edgard, Dianne and Aurora.

Next up is Rodan, the winged lord of the skies!

Whenever he goes into the air, watch out as he flies by!

Born in an active volcano, his spirit and passion is hot!

When battling against the forces of evil, he gives it all he's got!

The three royals were smiling brightly at Rodan, who like Mothra, was starting to get into the rhythm of things! He screeched loudly and flapped his large wings a little, sending a gust of wind that knocked some of the people over. But rather then be mad, the people were actually laughing as they were blown off their feet. The children giggled in delight, loving both a cool breeze and also a little action that swept them off their feet without any kind of injury. The spotlight then turned to Mainard, Belle and Anguirus.

Meet the spiked-shelled Anguirus, a really unique creature!

He has a tenacity of spirit, courageous and unflinching is his main feature!

He goes into battle against his foes, ready to fight with all his might!

And when it comes to protecting those he likes, everything will be alright!

Belle and Mainard watched with amusement as Anguirus tried to move with the music. The mutated Ankylosaurs was not exactly graceful, and some had to step aside not to get caught by his razor-edge shell, but he seemed to do alright that got a lot of claps from the people around him. Finally, Melody got off the platform and walked over to the final monster in line, Tracy, Ariel, and Cinderella going over to the final one on the list as the spotlight fell on him.

Here is the last one to introduce, the mightiest of them all!

In his world, he is called the King of the Monsters! Listen to his call!

His strength is unbound, his power a sight to see, he is certainly a thriller!

Everyone, meet the bonded of me and Tracy… his name is Godzilla!

Everyone turned to see the King of the Monsters, and it seemed that Godzilla did not know how to move like the others. So, he just did what came naturally to him. He looked around, saw the ones that accepted him some time ago, and just ROARED loudly for all to hear! Some of the people had to cover their ears, but it was still worth it to hear the mighty roar of the King of the Monsters! After seeing her friend was done roaring, Melody continued on with her song.

Friends from Another Place!

Friends from Another Place!

They are truly more then meets the eye!

Friends from Another Place!

Friends from Another Place!

You truly need to see the soul that is inside!

Melody continued to dance and sing, as did everyone else. The place was just filled with life, love, laughter, and joy! The only one that did not participate was William and his father, Jackson staying on the sidelines so he could keep a close eye on his son. They were going to have another long talk, one that Will did not want to hear or have. But, spoiled brats like him never got their way.

Everyone, thank you again for coming to this festive night!

Thank you for accepting our friends, now everything feels all right!

We had some adventures before, and I can only hope they continue!

When one journey ends, another begins! One that is fresh and new!

They traveled through the heavens, flying through time and space!

I'm so glad that for my birthday… I met our Friends from Another Place!

When the song ended, everyone clapped for Melody, who was now surrounded by her new friends; Mainard, Tracy, Edgard, Dianne, Kathrin, Oliver and Hadrian! She saw her folks now with the other members of the royal family, and added in were the parents of Oliver and Hadrian. She turned to her other side to see that coming towards them were Godzilla, Anguirus, Mothra and Rodan. The Twin Fairies were put on Mothra's head some time ago, and it seemed that all were now very pleased that such a night had finally come. Melody could not be even more happier then she was right now!

"This is the best birthday ever! Thank you everyone!" she exclaimed. All of them smiled proudly and truly for her, and Godzilla roared loudly in response along with the other monsters. It seemed that things would be okay from here on out!

~Out at sea~

While things were going well for Melody and her friends, it seemed that a black, evil cloud was on the move towards her position. It was Maleficent, and the powerful evil-arts sorceress was nearing her destination. It would take her until tomorrow night to make landfall, but she had patience. Just like her original self, this copy had patience and cunning. She looked on her vessel to see that her monsters were still in position, and so far, no trouble at all. It seemed that it would be some smooth sailing for her and her vile minions as they neared England. She petted her companion Diablo and stated softly, "Soon, my pet. Soon, our enemies will be vanquished. And then, for many years to come, we will make the known world bend to our will! And perhaps… we can venture forth and look for many more places that this world has to offer.". Diablo crowed at that, and Maleficent chuckled softly before looking outward.

It seemed that evil was now on the path towards the Marcel kingdom!

(Author's Notes: Well, here it was! The big night when monsters were shown to all… and it seemed that they were accepted! Best I could do, so I hope you don't mind. How was it? And how was the song? Let's just say as well… this battle here will be nothing compared to the ones that is about to come!

Here are some questions: One, if you were any of the royals that went out to take on the bandits, what would you do, given what you had to work with like they did? And also, what kind of other positive things would you say to put which monster in a better light? And finally… would you be willing to stick up for the monsters like the little ones did?

R&R, no flames, enjoy and leave long reviews!)
