(Author's Notes: Hi everyone! I want to thank everyone that has read and review my novel. Thanks to those that spotted little mistakes and such that were in previous chapter, allowing me to correct and replace the chapter. I am a bit puzzled that you did not answer the questions I posted up at the end of each Author's Notes… oh well. In any case, thanks for everything!

In this chapters, it's all about the other characters that are battling in the sea and in the forest! King Triton and his army shows their stuff against Ebriah and Titanosaurus, and the civilians, soldiers, princess and magical folk show their fortitude against Maleficent's company of soldiers plus Biolantte and Megalon! Prepare to be surprised at every corner in this one!

Also, I would like the opportunity to see if any of you can spot Hidden Mickey's and such. I have been posting some subtle and secret comparisons and hints that other Disney characters have been mentioned in the novel. See if you can find them!

I do not own Godzilla nor any of the Toho monsters, nor do I own any of the Disney characters. I do own my own Original Characters, and most of the songs here. If any song I use is by another artist, I will give him or her their due and credit

Now, on with the novel!)

Chapter 26

While the heroes and heroines, both human and not, were busy in the palace-fortress of Maleficent, the other forces of Good were preparing for their own battle. In the sea, King Triton and his forces were leading Ebriah more away from the abode of the sorceress, evading and dodging the massive lobster's attacks and doing what they could to agitate him and make him follow them. They were about ten miles at least from the ominous dwelling, and considering that it was many but small sea life and merpeople against a gigantic monster from another universe, it was still pretty impressive that they led Ebriah this far. King Triton was about to command his merknights and the orcas to try and take down one of the many legs on Ebriah's right flank when he felt something else entering the ocean and coming to their direction. Even though he did not possess the trident, the king of Atlantica still had his natural abilities and one of these underwater talents was detecting movement in the water. Similar to how a shark uses his snout that are filled with jelly-filled pits to detect electrical signals to spot prey. Though with a merperson, they detected whatever that was coming their way via their scales on their tail fins.

Triton thought, 'Something massive is coming our way! It doesn't feel like that huge bug I met several days ago… it feels like that red dinosaur creature! What was it called again? Those tiny fairies called it… ah! They called it Titanosaurus, and it's coming this way!'. Indeed, the titanic amphibious dinosaur was in the water and heading towards their location. The former peaceful creature had sensed that something was stirring in the ocean, and he went to check it out. The creature's brain wave patterns were forcibly changed when it ran into a human professor back in his universe, one called Shinji Mafune. The human was obsessed with studying sea animals and how their brains worked, and when Mafune found Titanosaurus, he not only studied his brain waves… but also altered them to try and control it, to make the monster do his bidding and get back to the ones that ridiculed and exiled him from the scientific community. Even though Mafune was destroyed some time ago when Titanosaurus and Godzilla fought, the gigantic dinosaur was forever changed.

Titanosaurus could sense what kind of activity was happening the ocean, and the minion of Maleficent felt that something was off with Ebriah if he was now far away from his sleeping area near the structure of their new mistress. The red dinosaur was now walking on the ocean floor, going towards Triton and his armies location with Ebriah. Said king of Atlantica turned behind him, and indeed saw in the distance the shadowy silhouette of the creature that was quite formidable. The powerful father of Ariel started to think, to try and turn this situation around for them. Flounder, who was nearby, floated to him and inquired, "Your Majesty, what's the matter? We got Ebriah far away from that scary palace, so why are you so worried?". Triton did not answer verbally, but he instead pointed to the shadow that was gradually getting larger and coming towards them. Flounder made a small 'eep" sound and turned a more pale shade of his yellow and blue colors.

"Flounder, tell everyone to retreat for now! I need to come up with a way to turn this situation around for us! Go! Tell everyone to retreat and hide!" Triton commanded, and the little fish nodded before zooming back to the army of sea life that was still continuing to bug Ebriah. Shortly after he left to go give Triton's new orders, one of the king's daughters Arista and the elder mermaid Sonia, swam up to him. When they asked the same question as Flounder, the powerful merman told them that one of the large monsters was heading in their direction. The two mermaids were nervous, and for good reason. In their view, it was troubling to go up against a massive lobster that could crush you easily in one of its claws. And now a second monster that could generate strong winds and disturbances with its tail, according to what their ruler told them some time ago.

"Daddy, isn't there something we can do?! I mean, can't we make these two monsters fight with one another instead of us?!" Arista exclaimed, really not wanting to face two behemoths. However, it was that suggestion that sparked some ideas into Triton's head! The king of Atlantica was now in deep thought, and his mental gears were running at a frantic pace. After some moments, an idea came to his head! It was a long shot, but it had a decent chance of working.

Triton turned to his daughter and friend, stating, "Arista, Sonia! Listen carefully! Tell everyone to get into positions around the monsters, but to stay hidden. I have an idea on how to make these two titans turn on one another, but it's going to take everyone's cooperation on this.". The two mermaids looked at their ruler, and seeing the determination in his eyes, had faith and trust in his plan. Arista gave her father a quick hug before swimming off, Sonia touching Triton's right shoulder and nodding to him before swimming away after Arista. Triton looked back at the two before turning his gaze and attention to the dinosaur that was gradually coming to their location.

"Okay… time to put everything on this idea. I hope to Poseidon is works…" he whispered softly before swimming away.

Titanosaurus soon came on the scene of something unusual. He saw his comrade Ebriah looking around, and he felt that the lobster was quite agitated for some reason. He looked around, but he saw that nothing was around. Titanosaurus did sense some living sea life around some moments ago, but now they were gone. He looked to Ebriah, and growled at him in the monster language, his reptilian voice sounding a bit gargley due to being underwater. He inquired to Ebriah on what was going on, and why he was not at his spot where their mistress told him to be. Ebriah explained in the monster tongue that he was chasing after some pesky sea creatures and the half-human, half-fish beings that were similar to the one they fought several days ago. The red amphibious dinosaur did remember the one that fought them some days ago, the half-human creature who wielded an object of great power that caused all sorts of problems for him and the other monsters. He asked his companion on where they were now, and the lobster answered that they retreated. Titanosaurus looked around, to see if he could find one of those half-human beings. When his eyes failed, the brute started to use his nose and his ears to see if he could hear them.

All around the two titanic titans the forces of King Triton were hiding from them, the various sea life using whatever camouflage they had or hiding behind rocks and such that were scattered around the area. The large sea creatures such as the orcas, dolphins and sharks were amazed to see yet another large creature that would have no problem making them into snacks. Many wanted to retreat, to get far away from these behemoths as possible. However, their loyalty to their king was greater then their fear. Flounder was with the daughters of Triton, all hiding in a crevice. Sonia, however, was peeking out from a coral reef and was looking at her ruler, who was actually behind Ebriah's tail! Many fishes and sea life peeked out from their safety spots to see Triton actually behind the lobster's tail! Andrina hissed out, "What is Father doing?! Is he crazy?!". Most of her siblings were starting to agree that their father had gone over the deep end, but Flounder and Sonia knew better.

Meanwhile, Triton was swimming slowly and surely towards the head of Ebriah. He was being careful and sure in his movements, knowing that Titanosaurus would soon sense him more likely with abilities that his own sea citizens were gifted with. "I sure hope this works…" he said to himself as he made his way to the top of Ebriah's head. He knew that his subjects were looking at him, and most likely they thought he was crazy. He certainly thought that this idea of his was indeed insane, but it was the only hopeful one that he had. If a certain captain in the Caribbean knew of this, he would most likely call the Sea King mad… and add that this plan would work. When Triton was at the very top of Ebriah's skull, at a point where the lobster's eye stalks could not see him. He carefully floated above his head, and looked at Titanosaurus, who was still trying to seek him and his people out. He waved to the crimson dinosaur, trying to get its attention. The amphibious creature sensed some movement through the two fins on the side of his head, and his eye reptilian eyes were now locked onto Triton.

The red titan growled when he saw the half-human creature, and he recognized it as the one who challenged him and his allies several days ago! Even though that it no longer had the item that radiated power, Titanosaurus felt that the half-human was still something of a threat. He hefted his left claws and let it fly, wanting to smash the merman king to jelly! However, Triton had other ideas as he stood his ground. He thought, 'Not yet… not yet… now!'. At the last moment, he swam swiftly to the right and dodged the attack! Instead of him getting smashed, it was Ebriah who screeched in pain and anger when his own ally just decked him on the head! The other sea creatures who saw this now were starting to get an inkling on what their leader wanted them to do. Even Triton's daughters, Flounder and Sonia were impressed on both the king's bravery and his strategy. They all slowly and carefully crept out from their hiding places, wanting to see if they could assist their leader with his plan.

Ebriah was screeching at Titanosaurus, putting up a threating display and demanding in his own language on why he smacked him on the head. The red dinosaur put up his own threating pose and growl, showing to the lobster that he was not to be taken lightly. It was the basic rule of the animal kingdom; never let a rival or potential threat see your weakness. Titanosaurus stated that he saw one of the half-human creatures on his head, and was trying to crush it. The lobster turned around to see if said creature was there. He looked this way and that, but could not find the creature that his ally had just stated. He turned and was about to tell Titanosaurus he saw nothing, and if he hit him again for no reason again, he in turn would deck the dinosaur with his claws. However, Ebriah soon spotted something swimming behind Titanosaurus's left leg… it was the strange human-like creature! Only, this one looked younger, had brown hair and looked female. It was Aquata, the first born daughter of King Triton and Queen Athena! The mermaid looked at the huge lobster and saw that she had been spotted. But rather panic, she had a look of concentration and focus. Ebriah scuttled forward towards his crimson ally, causing the dinosaur to be confused on the crustacean's actions. Aquata moved slightly so she was still near Titanosaurus's left leg, trying to keep close to the large appendage.

"That's it… come on… just a little closer…" she kept whispering to the massive beast, and she saw that her opportunity came when Ebriah raised his claw to try and grab at the mermaid! Aquata quickly swam to the side, dodging at the very last moment and showing to all that despite her age, she still got the moves. Ebriah's claw did not grab onto the mermaid, but rather it seemed that it pinched and attacked Titanosaurus! The amphibious dinosaur screeched loudly in pain, and swatted the offending claw away before delivering a retaliatory strike at the lobster's head. Ebriah screeched in anger from the hit, and flung his massive bulk at Titanosaurus. The crimson beast demanded to know on why HE attacked him, and Ebriah stated that he had seen the creature and tried to get it. Titanosaurus looked around, but did not see anything around or near his being, and he growled at the massive lobster in not doing something like that again. It seems that the two's little alliance with one another was starting to crumble, and it seemed that Triton and his allies were taking advantage of the situation.

A reasonable distance from the arguing monsters was King Triton, his six daughters, Flounder, Sonia and her family, and the rest of his forces. One of the mermen knights stated, "That was a good idea, your Highness. To get the titans to squabble amongst themselves like that!". The powerful merman king replied that his idea was a risky gamble, but it was turning out just as he had hoped. Many thought it was now over, their duty to keep the sea monsters that worked for Maleficent away from the action that was happening in her lair. However, Triton burst their bubble by stating that they needed to keep the pressure up on them, to make sure that they keep Ebriah and Titanosaurus's focus and ire on each other. He added in that even though they were massive beasts, he believed that they were intelligent and if they were smart enough… they would stop their quarrel with one another, and to make matters worse would team up and try to find them. He looked to his subjects, and saw that all of them had a look of fear on their faces. He could not blame them, for just one gigantic monster following the orders of an evil entity was bad enough. If another came in and they decided to cooperate with one another… they could very well kiss their lives and future goodbye!

The king of Atlantica turned to his followers, family and friends. He told them all firmly, "Look, I will do what I can to keep the monsters focused on one another. It will be deadly and risky, so I understand if you want to leave now. I want to tell you all that I thank you from the very bottom of my heart and soul for sticking with me this long and at this point. So… decide. And if you leave, I will think no less of you.". Triton was quickly surprised when all of the sea creatures and his merpeople citizens, the ones that chose to come with him, stayed. The orcas stated that there was no way they were going to miss out on helping their ruler, and the sharks said that they wanted to show the two titans on who really ruled the ocean floor. The sea creatures, from the large baleen whales to the small crustaceans, all put forth their own unique statements for staying with the king. Triton saw that his mermen soldiers were in the same boat, all declaring that they shall stick to their leader till the very end! The white-bearded king looked to his beautiful daughters, wondering if they would go to safety. Personally, he would have ordered them to stay away from this dangerous area. But, he had come to terms that they were mature in both age and thinking, and respected their decision. He was surprised that all of his precious girls would come on this mission, but he believed that now they would go.

Attina answered, "Father… we will stay with you. We know there is much danger involved, and that we have our own families that are waiting for us. But, we have all decided to see this through, no matter what!".

Adella added, "Even if we did go back to safety, we all know that the entire ocean would not be safe or free as long as that witch still has your trident. And that these sea monsters are under her control. So, we all decided that no matter what… we would help you in making sure that we give our niece Melody and the others the time they need in order to defeat Maleficent!". One by one, the other daughters gave forth their answer. And it was all the same; that they would stay with their father till the end! Triton had never felt so proud of his daughters, for making such a hard decision and all agreeing to staying with him and doing what they could to aid Melody. He gave them all a strong group hug, pouring his love and pride in it as he embraced his greatest treasure. He whispered to them, and only them, that he was so proud of them. The mermaids thanked him, and all including Sonia and Flounder, who had been part of the offensive the entire time, were touched by this little display of affection between parent and child. After a moment, he released his daughters and Triton looked towards Sonia and Ariel's life-long friend Flounder.

Sonia smirked at the old ruler stating, "I'm staying to! This old mermaid still has some snap in her tail, just you wait and see!". Triton believed her, sending a little smirk right back at her. Flounder also said the same thing, stating that he was ready to go! The king had to be proud of Ariel's friend, seeing that the fish had come a long way from his younger days. In the past, he was very cautious and only bold when called forth. Now, the yellow-and-blue striped fish was brave and never afraid to do what was right! Triton had to give credit where credit was due, and he certainly gave it to Flounder. He thanked them all for their dedication, loyalty and bravery, stating that all of them had earned their places in history. Now, it was up to all of them and their allies on the surface to make sure that they would be the winners in history!

Triton ordered, "Now, here is the plan! Just because this move is bold doesn't mean we can afford to be reckless. Myself and the merfolk shall go to the front lines, to see if we can keep Ebriah and Titanosaurus on us. We need to make sure that only one of them sees us, and when they try to catch us… we swim away fast and hope that either one of them hits the other. When that tactic looks like its failing, that is when the other sea creatures take over. Keep trying to annoy them as best you can, so they can lash out at you. But be sure to set it up so that you can evade being hit when the opportunity comes. The baleen whales shall take the rear, the last line of defense. Their immense size and bulk, when compared to us, could tip things in our favor in case the titans really start to think more clearly.". Let be said that Triton covered any and all areas, including on how to operate battle plans. They all nodded their heads at one another, all ready to do their duty! Triton then looked to the fighting monsters that were ahead of them, and he could see that they were now gradually becoming less aggressive towards one another.

"It seems that they are slowing down their attack on one another. Everyone, let us go!" Triton exclaimed, swimming swiftly towards the monsters. His merman knights, Sonia, and his daughters swam to catch up to him! The attack/distraction was underway!

~Back at the grove~

All of the soldiers, civilians, little ones and the magical folk prepared themselves for what was coming. Captain Jackson Dashboard was looking towards the west, hearing the sound of both marching feet and screeches/shrieks of animals that he knew very well. Before he retreated from the Marcel palace during Maleficent's attack, he had gotten a little acquainted with the enemy including their sounds. One of his soldiers went to his leader and stated, "Sir, I report about one hundred of Maleficent's foot soldiers on their way here. And, I also report that the two monsters, Biolantte and Megalon, are also on their way here. The red dinosaur Titanosaurus is not with them, I'm assuming it went into the ocean.". Jackson thanked his scout named Kenneth, and went got up to get himself geared for battle. He looked around, and also a bit of a ways from the secret grove to see that the young ones; Sarah Brown, Regina, Carlitos, Joshua and David had put the finishing touches on the traps that they had set up for their 'guests' should they arrive. The middle-aged captain chuckled a little, seeing that the spirit of youth and intelligence strong in these kids.

He looked to his right to see that the Bingwen's were also gearing up, and Boqin was handling a strange weapon that he asked Flora to create for him at the last few moments. The red Good Fairy had transformed a large, fallen branch into a weapon of the Orient, the Bingwen's homeland. This weapon was unique; five feet in length, having the color of royal blue, and smooth. However, it was the top of the staff that showed to all that it was different from any other staff he or his soldiers have seen. On top of the staff was a curved blade, the metal made of fine silver thanks to Flora and tied to the tip at the top. It was curved like the crescent moon, and very sharp if the blade's edges were any indication. Boqin had explained to both Flora and Dashboard that the weapon he was holding now was called a guandao, a type of bladed staff that had been used in his homeland of China. Jackson was indeed intrigued by the weapon, and wanted to know more about Eastern weapons and military practices. But, he knew that would have to be at another time… if it were possible. He also saw that his wife was getting ready for battle, the elderly but still charming in her own right Chinese woman having her wok in her hand to use a sort of shield. He had to give the lady credit, though old she still possessed a rare fire in her spirit.

He turned to see that his wife Minnie was holding up a large, circular shield that looked quite plain with no intricate design on it. It was given to her by Fauna, who told her that the shield was slightly stronger then the ones given to the male soldiers. So it was not only Mrs. Jackson that got a protective shield that was stronger then the ones the soldier's had. The female civilians; Angelica Brown, Pamela, Oliver's mother Chloe/Chidimma, and Hadrian's mother Nura had round shields that were more durable and light then the ones the soldiers had. It was sort of a balancing act in this particular; the men were to be fighting and were stronger then the women due to their military training and/or special routines that they have done for quite some time. While Nura and Chloe were strong in their own right, the menfolk insisted that the women have something to protect themselves. Thus the shields, conjured up by Fauna and given to the ladies. The shield was light and durable thanks to magic, so the womenfolk would be able to wield them more quickly and effectively then the ones the men carried.

"I really hope those shields can take a good beating, for all of us. Because we're going to need every ounce of protection we can get." Jackson said to himself as he looked towards the area where the demonic horde of Maleficent was at. He looked to his son William, who looked rather nervous and shaky. He REALLY hoped that his son would grow a backbone here, because at this moment cowardice was not an option at all! He looked to see that the monsters were coming to bear down on them first, Megalon and Biolantte closing in.

He looked to the Three Good Fairies and exclaimed, "Okay! Good Fairies, you know what to do! You're the line of defense against those two titans! Good luck, and retreat if you must!". Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather looked up and to the west to see that the massive creatures were coming up quickly to the grove. They all took a deep breath, let it out, and flew towards their targets! Merryweather told her sisters that she would try Megalon on her own, while they would try and deal with Biolantte. The three knew from the start that this sort of action was crazy bordering on suicidal! However, there were no other options left. Fairy Godmother Cateline and Enchantress Rosalie were needed on the ground to maintain the magical shields as best they could, and also the Twin Fairies were still with Princess Kathrin, trying to speed up Mothra's transformation process.

Merryweather shook her head as she flew at Megalon and muttered, "Ooooh… the things I do for family. Oh well… best way to go, I suppose.". In her view, going down defending family and friends was one of the better ways to go. When she approached Megalon, the hybrid bug god of Seatopia screeched loudly. He looked at Merryweather curiously, for she had never seen a human with wings and flying. He also sensed and smelled the magical scent that she gave off, similar to his new mistress but cleaner and less stronger. The brave blue Good Fairy gulped, feeling like a small fly next to a titan of old. It looked that way, from any one's point of view. Megalon gazed at the magical woman for a moment or two, then tried to swat her out of the sky! In his view, the magical creature still looked human and was a surface dweller. And like the citizens of Seatopia told him very often, humans and surface dwellers were to be destroyed! And that same lesson carried over here to this universe. Merryweather hurriedly flew out of the way, barely avoiding the drill-like appendage from Megalon's right arm.

"Oooh! How rude! You got no manners at all, you big bug! I think I need to teach you a lesson!" she declared before firing off one of her most strongest magical beams at him. To Megalon who saw this, it looked similar to the bolts of lightning that the human laser tanks often used on him. When the blue beam hit his neck, he felt pain and screeched in annoyance and surprise! It seemed that Merryweather's magic was different to Maleficent's in more ways than one, and this kind of magic reacted differently to the energy that Megalon received in Seatopia from his universe. It felt like a wasp sting to him, and while it did superficial damage at best, it still enraged the hybrid bug god! Merryweather was also surprised, not expecting such a reaction. The fairy did regain her wits quick enough to avoid a yellow lightning bolt that shot from Megalon's horn! Though the humans were briefed on Megalon's abilities by the Twin Fairies, and the demon soldiers had seen this little demonstration some days ago with their ruler, they were still amazed to see a creature that could harness and shoot lighting in such a manner.

Megalon kept trying to either shoot down Merryweather with his Lighting Blast, or smack her down with his drill arms. The blue Good Fairy kept up, dodging the monster's attack and also retaliating with her own magical blasts that hit their marks on the bug god's body. The titans blasts scorched the landscape that it hit, but fortunately far away from the grove and shields. This kept on for about five or so minutes, and then the monster from another universe decided that it was time to try a new tactic. He lowered his arms and took aim at Merryweather, getting the magical being in his sights. The fairy remembered what she was told by the Twin Fairies, Moll and Lora, and assumed that Megalon was going for a more… explosive attack. He was going to fire his Napalm Bomb, the red rocks that stored tremendous amounts of Megalon's energy and would explode upon impact! Her assumption proved correct as the cockroach/rhino beetle hybrid opened his maw and fired one of the large red rocks towards her! Merryweather had a look of terror on her face, and did not know what to do next!

Boqin saw the situation from his view point on the ground and he shouted to the fairy, "Miss Merryweather! Do not panic! Use the momentum! Swing that rock back at the enemy! Catch it and move with it, don't just deflect it!". The old Asian soldier had learned from his services to the Emperor and country that it was good to use the enemy's own strength and power against them, to counter in a unique way rather then just simply blocking. Merryweather heard his call, and looked at the fiery red rock heading towards her fast. She swallowed, and formulated a quick plan in her head that she HOPED would work.

"Heaven above, please let this work!" she whispered as she shot her magic at the incoming projectile. However, instead of focusing and using her magic like a beam, she focused it to become a rope! It lashed around the rock, tying itself around it tightly and then that is when Merryweather put more of her magic into her muscles. Taking the advice of Boqin, she used the momentum to grab and swing the red projectile around! She put all of her fairy might into holding steady on the rock with her magical rope, and then swung it right back at Megalon! Everyone who witnessed this unique counter, especially the giant bug hybrid who screeched in surprise to see his own weapon coming straight at his face! He was too stunned to see such a reversal to put up any kind of defense, and when the rock impacted his face… a loud BOOM sound echoed off everywhere as the bomb went off and exploded! Megalon screeched loudly in pain as he went down, the impact and explosion at point-blank range taking its told as he was just knocked flat on his back! Merryweather, totally exhausted from pulling such a feat, landed back on the ground and very surprised yet glad that her plan worked.

"T-That was… something… Thank you… Mr. Boqin…" she whispered before falling on her back, very much exhausted both physically and magically. Two of Jackson's soldiers went over and picked up the poor fairy, taking her to rest near Kathrin and the Twin Fairies, who had seen the action as well. Captain Dashboard was impressed, and now was seriously considering asking Bingwen Boqin for more advice and such to military tactics so he could incorporate it into his own soldiers in the future. The elder soldier saw that the bug was knocked out for the moment, but for how long he could not even guess. He hoped that it was long enough for the others at Maleficent's palace-fortress to complete their task.

While Merryweather did deal with Megalon in her own way, Flora and Fauna were having their own little problems with Biolantte. While their youngest sibling felt like a fly when compared to Megalon, they felt like fleas compared to the half-sister of Godzilla! The two Good Fairies knew about her abilities, from her snapping living tentacles to the thick acid sap that she could spit from either her tentacles or her own maw. Biolantte roared as it gazed upon the small forms Flora and Fauna, and that is when the green-clothed fairy felt something coming from the monster that was a product of science. She heard a faint but strong voice calling out, "Help me… help me… help me to not… destroy…". Fauna looked around for the voice, for it was human and she believed that someone was probably on Biolantte. But when she could not find anyone on the monster, she heard the voice again and followed it… and was shocked to hear that the human voice was coming from the half-plant, half-Godzilla creature! She gasped in wonder, then flew to her sister Flora.

The two dodged some vine tentacles that Biolantte sent their way, and Fauna exclaimed, "Flora! I think there is a human spirit inside Biolantte! I heard a voice coming from her, and it's a human girl's voice!". The red-clothed fairy was surprised upon hearing this. The two had known from the Twin Fairies that Biolantte was a product of man's tampering with nature and Godzilla, but also knew that a human female spirit named Erica resided in the creature. They just never really understood completely why a human spirit would reside in such a creature, but now they felt it must have been for a reason. The two fairies were brought back to reality quick when Biolantte launched some acidic tree sap at them, the two dodging quickly at the last moment. They turned to see that a good section of the forest that was hit by the sap was dissolving quickly, steam rising up and any living life form that was under there quickly turning into a gooey mush.

Flora and Fauna gasped in horror at seeing such a display of terrible power, then turned to see Biolantte glaring right at them. The red-clothed fairy then gathered her courage, and flew straight towards the monster's head, Fauna following her. Flora looked to her and exclaimed, "We must do what we can to stop this creature, before it can use the sap on our friends or crush them with her body! I have an idea that I hope works!". The green-clothed fairy had faith in her sister, and it showed on her face. The two zoomed fast and true to their objective, which was Biolantte's forehead. The half-sister of Godzilla tried to look up, but its eyes were a bit far apart from one another, so it could not get a good glimpse of her target that just flew to her head. Flora landed on the creature, the radiation of the beast making her magic tingle and not in a good way. She extended her hand to Fauna, who took it and landed next to her sister and friend. The tingling that Flora felt soon went to Fauna, and the elder fairy was now feeling the unwelcome effect of radioactivity mingling with magic.

"Sister, concentrate with me! We need to delve deep into Biolantte! We must use our magic to let our spirits link and merge with her, to seek out the one that is calling to us. Maybe together, the three of us can do something about Biolantte! Maybe even Maleficent…" Flora explained to her friend. Fauna knew that this was indeed a risky move, to link and merge their spirits with a powerful creature such as Biolantte, especially when it had a tingly energy that reacted unfavorably with their magic at the moment. However, she knew that there was little to no option here. At their current size and state, even with their versatile magical power and skill, they were just simply no match for the creature born in a laboratory. Fauna too her sister's hand and the two concentrated, focused their magic inward before letting their spirits flow into Biolantte's head. The tingling of magic soon registered on the large creature, and to Biolantte, it felt that something was putting a small but hot needle into her head. She wanted to thrash about, to swing her head and get the unwelcoming sensation off of her being, but something made her freeze. In fact, she stopped movement all together and the only thing that was moving was her heart core that was protected by the massive, thick vines that made her being. Maleficent's minions, and also the allies of the Good Fairies, saw this and were a bit perplexed by this inaction on Biolantte's part.

Jackson formed a small grin as he knew that Flora and Fauna were doing their part in keeping Biolantte occupied. He stated to all, "It seems that our good fairy friends are doing a good job in immobilizing Biolantte somehow! Let's do what we can here on the ground!". All were impressed by the three magical folk that risked much to take on such giants. Merryweather was resting near Princess Kathrin and the Twin Fairies, looking at the mixture of red and green lights on top of Biolantte's head. She knew that it was her sisters, and hoped to God above that they were alright.

While the minions saw that their two largest allies were out of action for the moment, they resumed their march on the colored magical barriers that were still ahead of them. In a few minutes, the troops of the sorceress reached the first barrier, which was Fairy Godmother Cateline's creation. Captain Jackson knew that the barrier would be strong against projectiles, but physical attacks would weaken the silver wall. He was hoping that the magic coming off of the barrier would deter the demonic horde from getting too close, and opting to attack with projectiles like their arrows or flinging their weapons at the silver structure. His wish seemed to come true, for the demonic masses were hissing and screeching at the protective wall. It radiated with good magic, the kind that was very much opposite of their mistress and thus hated to even go near it. One of the leaders of the company, a large vulture humanoid demon wearing black armor that had a large white streak on the chest plate, crowed at the archers. Five of them came to the front, and they started to fire on silver barrier. However, their barrage of arrows was sent back at them upon hitting the magical construct. When said projectiles hit the silver magical wall, a small flash occurred and the arrows were soon coated in a thin film of Cateline's magic. It rebounded and whizzed back towards the shooters! The archers, and the soldiers behind them, squealed and/or screeched in fright before ducking or taking cover. The ones that got hit by the silver-coated arrows screamed loudly before dissolving in a fit of magical sparks, and in their place were furry creatures such as rabbits or squirrels.

Some of the humans that saw this on the other side of the wall let out some chuckles, others full-blown laughs as they saw some of the minions turn into woodland creatures. A little levity in an otherwise grim situation. Cateline mused, "I believe my magical wall has a property I did not expect. I just hope that the transformation lasts for a while.". She explained to her new friends that her magic had time limits, and most transformation spells that she used lasted for about six or so hours at best.

On the other side, the forces of evil were enraged to see their comrades turn into harmless rodents and mammals. Some of the demonic soldiers, mostly pig and wolf humanoid creatures, threw their weapons such as swords and maces at the silver wall. The results were a little different, as when the weapons hit the barrier, they took on a life of their own and started to chase the soldiers that threw them! Several of the company had to flee for their lives as they were being whacked on by their own tools, which was embarrassing for them to say the least. The company was starting to worry that they would be unable to penetrate through the magical wall, but the vulture-like leader screeched to them that they WOULD get through this wall! If they did not, they would face the wrath of the Three Generals… or maybe their Mistress, and that was out of the question. The leader pointed at the wall, and ordered them to just pound away at with their fists and legs. With a little reluctancy, the remaining soldiers charged at the wall and started to pound on it! They all took some damage to their bodies, the mixture of good magic with their physical bodies that have longed since soaked in Maleficent's evil magic, burned at their fists and legs.

The silver wall soon started to form cracks, signifying that it was now taking significant damage. The humans and the magical folk on the other side now looked nervous, their hope that the demonic horde would retreat upon seeing their previous attacks getting turned back around at them now dropping like a stone. Captain Dashboard looked to his men and exclaimed, "Get ready! When they break through that silver wall, be prepared! Hopefully the second line of defense will hold long enough! Kenneth, Lenny! See to it that you are in position where the traps are at!". Two of his soldiers saluted before going to some spots in front of Rosalie's emerald wall, standing just in front of two strong traps that the kids made earlier, with help from the adults of course. All watched as the silver wall shattered like glass, and when that happened, the whole silver barrier vanished in a trail of sparkles like stars. Maleficent's minions were badly burned and hurt from going to work on the magical construct, but they kept on going! When they reached the emerald wall, they once again used physical force. However, that turned out to be a mistake as the moment they touched the wall… the demon soldier's feet and fists were engulfed in green flames! There was loud screeching and screaming, the humans covering their ears from the horrible sound, as the minions tried to get the flames off of their bodies. The ones that did not get burned saw that this flame was different from their mistress's fire, this particular flame more emerald without the blackness and a purity of magic that sickened the horde.

The people on the other side of the wall were very relieved to see such a defense from the enchantress, and they showered her a little with praise that made the beautiful woman blush a little. They soon returned their focus on what was in front of them, however, since it seemed that the demon soldiers were not going to be deterred by this. Captain Jackson knew that this whole situation was looking a bit dark for them, but he saw the looks on everyone's faces. They were not going to back down! Even the magical beings, who could have left at any time easily, were staying with them and the determination to see this whole thing through showed on their faces. For a moment, Jackson Dashboard saw the good side of humanity. That in the face of evil, of overwhelming odds… they stood tall and were ready to fight!

When the odds are stacked against you, and you feel evil creeping in from the start…

Rather than give in to fear, stand firm and true! Let goodness guard your heart!

Many would panic and stumble, but we choose to stand and fight.

All of us are bound together, putting it all on the line… in the name of the Light!

Back at the sea, Triton was leading his forces to distract and direct the attacks on Ebriah and Titanosaurus to each other. And just like Jackson was doing on the land, the king saw the determination and strength in the eyes and faces of his subjects… including his daughters, who he felt very proud towards right now.

The battle is fierce and different, but the goal is the same.

To fell the forces of evil, this is not a mere game!

The forces of the land and the sea, joining in as one.

To bring down this wickedness that came down on us…

We will not stop until we have won!

At the palace-fortress, each person was walking down the path they had chosen. Fatima going up the stairs, wary as she looked down at the spikes at the bottom. Minos and Anguirus were heading towards the trap room, the one with the unusual earthen formations that had spiked protrusions sticking out at various angles. And the royal children plus Oliver and Hadrian were with Godzilla, almost at the door that would lead them to the trap room that housed the gargoyles.

We are looking for complete victory! Nothing else will do.

We are looking for complete victory! We won't stop until we're through!

We won't settle for anything less, doing something by half is not our way.

Doing our very and absolute best to win it all is all we have to say!

Never back down and never panic, that is the key…

The thing we are set to grab is complete and total victory!

Back at the grove, the humans saw the demonic horde were retreating and trying to look for another way to break through the emerald barrier. The vulture demon captain screeched again, and the archers came to the forward this time. They were a little hesitant to shoot, given on what happened last time. But when their arrows struck the barrier, cracks slowly formed and that is when the forces of evil saw the weakness and attacked it like sharks when they spot their prey.

The twisted and wrong shall never move our stand.

We will force them back, drive them back from our land!

Though we are outnumbered and on the ropes, our hearts stand true.

No matter what comes our way, we will see this through!

Now everyone was at the point where the tests began; Triton and his forces against Titanosaurus and Ebriah, Flora and Fauna in spirit form searching for Erica that resided in Biolantte, the humans and magical folk soon going to be engaged in battle against Maleficent's forces, Merryweather recovering after knocking down Megalon with his own attack, and the main forces in the palace-fortress about to go through their first test room before going to see the Three Generals who awaited them in another room.

We are looking for complete victory! In the name of Goodness and Light!

We are looking for complete victory! We will win this fight!

We are ready to rumble, we stand our ground and nothing will make us run!

Our backs are against the wall, but it matters little… the battle has just begun!

Now it's time to get what we came for, it will make us all quite pleased…

To gain against the forces of evil… a complete and total VICTORY!

The hail of projectiles at the emerald barrier lasted for a few minutes until it too shattered like glass. The horde had broken through, and they were streaming into the woods! They could smell the humans now, fresh with just a hint of fear. To the demons, this was a unique and delicious smell that they liked. They all screeched, squealed and roared towards the woods, right towards the secret grove! Captain Jackson told everyone to stand their ground, to do what they must so they could give Mothra the time to transform and hopefully turn the tide for them. William was in the front of the group, his fellow soldiers side-by-side with him, and it seemed that all but the son of Jackson was ready to fight. The teenage boy was scared, yes. And if given the chance, he would have run for it. But he was staying put due to his father and also this one pointed fact. That even if he did run, there was nowhere to run to and most likely the demonic soldiers would have captured him… or worse. So now, his only option was to fight and he would do what he could to make sure he stayed in one piece. His fellow soldiers, however, were fighting for a different reason. Instead of fighting for just their lives, they would be fighting for honor, for their family… to stand up against this twisted evil that was coming their way! They would not back down!

It was then that a group of minions saw Kenneth and Lenny Motley, the soldiers that Captain Dashboard had put up in specific spots in the grove. Kenneth was a young adult, while Lenny was older and such. But the two were family, father and son, and would do their best together! The seven evil soldiers of Maleficent cackled and squealed in delight when they saw their prey, and charged towards them. Kenneth was whispering, "Come on… a little closer… that's it!". When four of the troops stepped on a certain patch in front of him, a trap was sprung! A net made out of vines and leaves shot up, catching and hoisting the demon soldiers like fish in a fisherman's net! The four minions were now screeching and growling angrily, trying to get out of the makeshift net that was made by Regina and Sarah. They would have gotten out easily… had not a second trap turned on. This design was built by Carlitos, and it was like this. Shortly after the net trap had been sprung, it would set in motion the release of two logs that were set up on the left and right of the net area. Now, the group turned to their right and left to see two large brown tree trunk logs coming their way! All let out a huge screech of fright… before the logs smashed together like bread slices on a sandwich, with the evil soldiers in the middle. The soldiers were soon knocked out cold, dangling from the net like worms on a fishing hook.

This trap surprised the three other soldiers, who screeched and roared in anger at the soldiers. Lenny smirked at them and made a gesture with his hands, telling the three to bring it on! He called out, "I'm here, you rejects from nature! Come and get me!". The three soldiers, one of them a large boar-like demon wielding a massive morningstar weapon, charged at the elderly soldier. The Motley patriarch waited patiently, standing his ground as he saw the three solider beasts charging at him. When they got about five feet from him, another trap was sprung! This one was designed by Joshua and David, and it seemed to be quite simply but effective. The three fell into a deep pit, rectangle in shape and size, that was hidden by a thick layer of leaves and branches. The combined weight of the demons, their natural weight and the added ones brought on by their armor and weapons, caused them to break the barrier and fall in. It was also fortunate for the forces of good that Captain Jackson told them all about their fear of the water. The pit was filled to the brim with pure water, conjured up by Cateline and the Three Good Fairies. Once they fell in and hit the liquid, the three demons were now in a panic! Like nothing they had ever seen before. The soldiers were flailing about, thrashing as if they had just been dipped in acid. They scrambled out of there, very much eager to get away from the pure water. Kenneth and Lenny were just stunned to see the demons scrambling out of there, and running off like the very arch-angels from heaven itself were after them.

Kenneth commented, "Wow… I mean… wow. I have never seen anything or anyone just react that violently.". His father agreed with him on that, saying that it was peculiar on how demons could be so fearful of such a simple and pure element. Oh well, that just meat less soldiers to worry about. The two stood tall with their shields and swords in hand, the remaining demons going over to them to do battle! They were very careful and cautious to go around the rectangular pit. All over the area, various traps had gone off and some of Maleficent's minions were caught in them. One had to give credit to the children and women who had designed and made the traps unique and also effective. They were all designed to knock the soldiers out, to put them out of commission for a good while. And while it did work, the remaining company of minions charged in to engage to hand-to-hand combat!

Princess Kathrin and the Twin Fairies were still doing their best to try and speed up Mothra's transformation, praying with all their might that the worm would finish her final stage in her life cycle and emerge a different monster that would be able to help them out. The daughter of Snow White and Florian turned to see that her friends were engaged in combat, and it was a sight she would never soon forget in all her lifetime! Her companions fought bravely, engaging the demons with all heart and fire in their spirits! Captain Jackson was showing to all that he was captain of the Royal Guard for a good reason, and also that his wife Minnie was no slouch as she was able to defend herself well against the surging horde. William did show some backbone for once, though he showed that his courage and skill with weapons needed some work badly. Dashboard's soldiers showed courage and fortitude that made them versatile and good fighters, always looking for an opportunity to strike but never being reckless. Cateline and Rosalie used their magic to aid them, turning some of the soldiers into harmless creatures or bringing inanimate objects like tree branches and logs to life to block or counter the horde's weapons.

She saw the Bingwen's fight, and it was truly a sight to see! The two elderly people from China was showing the West on how the Orientals fought. Boqin was using his bladed staff with amazing skill and ease, despite how old and frail he looked. He was making swift sweeping motions to send many of the demonic soldiers flying from impact, and did impressive twirling motions and unusual stances before letting loose with a flurry of attacks that was graceful yet strong. He kept on flowing like water, never stopping too long and always on the move. His wife Jiaying was also showing some moves that should not be possible for someone her age and height. She was using her wok as both a shield and a weapon, bashing some of the foolish demon soldiers that got to close to her, and blocking their swords, spears and other weapons with such flowing and precise motions. The two Eastern citizens were flowing like water, swift like the wind, and also very precise like nothing else! Kathrin whispered, "Wow… so that is how people in the Far Eastern nations fight! Incredible!". However, she was so caught up in the fight that she failed to see three demonic soldiers getting past the others and running towards her, Merryweather, and the Twin Fairies! The blue Good Fairy was still weak and exhausted from her bout against Megalon, so she could not put up any kind of resistance or defense.

"AHHHHHH!" she screamed, quickly grabbing the Twin Fairies and also Merryweather, her body acting on her own accord. She shielded them with her own body, preparing to take any hits for them! The three soldiers were upon them and attempted to grab them… when out of the forest came a white, shaggy blur that knocked the three soldiers away!

Kathrin peeked out, and saw a large, furry creature standing over her, growling at the three demons who looked terrified. The princess saw that it was a dog of sort, an Old English sheepdog to be more precise. It had a gray coat with white fur on the bottom. Its eyes were covered by the fur growing over its eyelids, and also had a collar on it. The collar was blue with a golden tag on it, and on said tag were the words MAX, and it swung around a little to show the crest of the Marcels. She then remembered of a dog named Max that was owned by Eric, and taken to a veterinary specialist by the name of Michelle Blank when he got sick. This must be the same one!

"Max! Is that you?!" she inquired, really surprised to see Eric's furry companion here. The dog turned to her, sniffed her a little… then wagged his tail happily and licked her very much. Kathrin was caught off guard, but giggled in surprise and hugged Max while she allowed the dog to lick her. This was indeed the same dog that Eric spoke about days ago in a letter, surprised that she remembered that far back. The Twin Fairies were released from her grasp, and also Merryweather got a good look at the furry beast. Max was a bit surprised when he saw the magicals, and sniffed them to be sure they were friends, not a threat. He sniffed the Twin Fairies, then gave them a happy lick which covered the tiny women in saliva. However, the small fairies were actually glad to receive such a warm welcome, not paying attention that they were now covered in dog drool. Merryweather received the same treatment, her face being licked but Merryweather not minding one bit. Kathrin then hugged the furry creature, glad to have another friend with her on this grim day. Max was happy to be embraced by such good smelling people.

The large animal had been released some time ago by the kind Michelle, and was very eager to be returned back home. However, the area was soon under the shadow of evil and the body of Megalon when it came to the sanctuary. Michelle had taken the sick ones with her while the more healthy of animals were released to make their escape. Max was one of the healthy ones, but he ran off to aid Michelle in getting to a safe place. The human, Max and the animals that she had with her that were too sick and/or weak to escape on their own hid in a cave that led underground, where they managed to hide safely from the monsters. Thankfully for them, there was an underwater spring so they had water. When the monsters left the area, Max wanted to leave and go back to his home on his own. He wanted to make sure his owners/family were okay. Michelle had seen this, felt his tension and told him to go. She and the other animals would be safe underground in the cave until the time was right to come back out. The Old English sheepdog gave her a warm goodbye lick before heading up to the surface, a bit overpowered by the smell of evil that was now everywhere, and heading back to his home. He was caught by surprise when he smelled something good in the grove, and also hearing the sound of battle. He went to see what was going on, and when he heard Kathrin scream… that is when he leapt into action, coming to the defense of a sweet girl who needed help!

Kathrin then saw the three soldiers getting back up, and gasped before releasing Max. The old dog saw the enemies getting back up, and he got in front of his new friends, growling and showing that though he was old, he would not back down! Cateline, who saw the creature's actions, turned and was glad to see the dog. "Oh, this is wonderful! I believe we have a new ally on our side!" she exclaimed, thinking now on what to do to really turn the tide back in their favor before Megalon and Biolantte came back to their senses.

(Author's Notes: And… cut! I will end the chapter here. So, what do you think? Merryweather actually turned Megalon's own attack against him, Flora and Fauna are going inside Biolantte to see if they could find Erica. King Triton using his forces to make Titanosaurus and Ebriah attack one another, and now Max coming in to help tip the odds in favor of the good guys! I hope I satisfied any and all of your curiosity on how the ragtag group would handle the company soldiers of Maleficent.

Also, the song in here is my own. It is called Complete Victory, and it's like a mix of Pocahontas's song Savages and Carmen's God's Got An Army. I was inspired by the words of my pastor Rick Godwin, who works at the Summit Christian Center, and also by the book I Am The Christian the Devil Warned You About by Mario Murillo. In a war or battle, never go for anything halfway. Go for complete and total victory! And believe me, the heroes and heroines in here know that it's either win or be destroyed. No middle ground here.

In the next chapter, you will see more of the fighting at both sea and land. Cateline will turn Max into something more to help them out, and also you will see Flora and Fauna doing some serious soul-searching inside Biolantte. Also, you will see the others in action when they go into the trap rooms! Remember, they need to get past the rooms in order to get to the place where the Three Generals are at. Trust me, I have thought this thing through and I know what I am doing. Even though it seems I don't know what I'm doing. Hehehe…

So, here are the questions for this chapter. What should Cateline transform Max into so he could be of better help to the forces of Good? How do you think Flora and Fauna will react when they finally meet Erica? And also, if you were Triton, how would you handle the operations in the ocean against Titanosaurus and Megalon?

R&R, no flames, enjoy and leave long reviews!)
