Monsters and Magic

By: DJ Rodriguez

(Author's Notes: Hi everyone! I am back, and I want to say that this has been a very good, and learning roller coaster experience for me. I have gained so many reviews that have warmed my heart, and also helped my spirit. It was thanks to constructive criticism that I was able to learn from mistakes and become better writer. I maybe an amateur with talent and such, but I hope to be more… but also to keep my imagination and heart in the process. In any case, thanks to all who have supported my novel!

And also, I ask those questions because I like to read reviews! The longer, the better and I just like to read them. Plus, certain reviews have helped me much in making my novel more believable, better. And so, I thank you all again for your inputs, ideas and suggestions. You all rock! Also, I like to point out one thing. While in the Disney world, everything is animated and such. When Godzilla and the others return to their own universe, everything is switched back to look live and such. Just so you all know.

I dedicate this epilogue to a certain Japanese actress named Anna Nakagawa. According to my friend and the one who inspired me to write this novel, Japan Boy, this woman passed away at the age of 49 sometime this October, battling cancer. She is special due to that fact that she played time traveler Emmy Kano from the 1991 movie Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. I remember her, a great actress in many ways and giving it her all to a great 90's classic Toho movie! This epilogue is dedicated to her memory, so I will do my best for her!

I do not own Godzilla or any Toho creations, nor do I own any of the Disney characters and such. I do own my OC's, and most of the songs here in this novel. Should I use a song or music that comes from another artist or group, I will give due credit and props to him, her or them.

Now, on with the novel!)

Epilogue- Japan

One thing is for certain is this, the laws of time and space differ from between universes, dimensions, and so forth. In the case of the monsters, time passed differently from their realm to the one they just left. While about seventeen or so days have passed while they were at the other universe, only seventeen or so hours have passed in their world. So in simple terms, while a day passed by in Melody and Ariel's world, only an hour had passed in Godzilla's world. Right now, there was much activity on Monster Island. Humans were there, many in number and different in occupation. Workers and scientists were scanning the site, many wearing hazmats suits and possessing Geiger counters. Soldiers were also doing a check of their surroundings, dressed up in cameo wear and carrying AK-47 rifles. Reporters from all parts of the world, mostly though from Japan though, were on the island and taking pictures all over the place. Helicopters and specially designed aircraft were flying over the interior, taking pictures down below. Many leaders in many fields such as energy, physics, and the like were on Monster Island. The reason for all the activity and noise was that some instruments some time ago had picked up a surge of energy! An energy that was unlike anything they had seen on Earth, which was not surprising considering that magic was all but gone in this world. So, many had gone to investigate… and were surprised when an aerial photograph revealed a LARGE black circle that had mysterious symbols and runes etched into the black lines.

Now, everyone was here to find out what had happened. It was a spectacle of many people from different parts of the world coming together quickly to find out what had happened. Many came in the name of science, while others came for either profit or other ulterior motives of the unsavory kind. Among them all stood several people that wore blue uniforms and caps, some modified to show difference on what males and females wore. But the glaring thing that stood out that made them a single group was the G-FORCE label that was over their heart areas. Some time ago, shortly after the visit from the Futurians, the United Nations had quickly set up a new branch that was called United Nations Godzilla Countermeasures Center, or UNGCC for short. The headquarters were set up in Tokyo, Japan and was called G-Force for short. In this organization, brilliant and effective minds from many branches of science, technology, military and even the paranormal fields were brought together for a single goal, a purpose that had been the talk of the government.

Their task was to locate, study, learn… and also to eliminate Godzilla from the planet!

While many within this union were all for eliminating the green-skinned saurian from the planet so their people and families could be safe, few within the organization did not want to hurt or kill the King of the Monsters. Among them, and also present on the island, was one Miki Saegusa. She was a civilian, but she was not normal. This Japanese beauty was a brilliant and power psychic, an extremely rare person that could communicate with other life beings… especially the monsters. Miki believed that Godzilla was a force of nature, but had gradually started to accept the notion that Godzilla and the other monsters had a right to live. She had seen what man's poor use of atomic and nuclear testing had done, both to the Earth and her creations. Sadly though, many people in the higher levels of power in the mortal government felt that the saurian and his kind were a menace to the general population of the planet, and thus needed to be eliminated. And even though she was with this organization, she felt that she could do something to show that Godzilla and his monsters were a boon to the planet and humans instead of a sickness like cancer and such.

Right now though, the psychic was looking around the area, inside the immense black circle. Miki was feeling ambient energies in the earth, but it was not of nuclear or atomic in nature She closed her eyes and used her mind to scan her surroundings. She whispered to herself, 'This is unusual energy that is coming from within the circle, and also from inside the black lines of said circle. Like… like magic!'. The beautiful mind-user opened her eyes and took a deep breath, when it reality she was taking in the faint aura of magic that she was sensing. Just as she let out a breath… her eyes widened as she felt something strong coming in fast to the island, something big! Her friend, Asuza Gojo, went to her as she saw her companion stiffen. Asuza was a biologist, always wanting to learn more about nature and their interaction with either human elements or other species. She had been recently recruited to UNGCC to see if she could find any kind of link between Godzilla and nature. The two had formed an acquaintanceship that was gradually building, as Asuza leaned more towards Miki's notion that Godzilla was more than just a force of nature.

She stood next to her companion and inquired, "Miki, what is wrong? What are you sensing?". The psychic did not respond at first, looking towards the heavens for awhile before looking to her right side. From a bird's eye point of view, she was looking towards the upper left part of the circle.

Miki then looked at her friend and answered softly, "Something is coming… something massive! We need to get clear of this area right away.". Asuza's eyes widened because what Miki predicted was probably right. Even though she was a new recruit to the force, she had seen Miki's mental abilities in action and she was RARELY wrong. She nodded, and the two started to jog back out from the circle. The duo went to their commanding officer of the unit deployed to Monster Island, one Col. Alexander Pienkoss. He was an American, but had great experience in military strategy and was considered a brilliant leader that knew his own strengths and weaknesses. The colonel was looking around the area when he saw his two female specialists jogging back to him rather quickly, and he knew that something was amiss.

He greeted them and inquired, "Miss Saegusa, Dr. Gojo. What is the matter?". Like many in the military, he had seen Miki use her psychic abilities and was impressed. Unlike most in the higher ranks, he believed in her abilities which included predictions.

Miki and Asuza briefly saluted, showing Col. Alex respect. The colonel had earned their respect not due to rank, but that he believed her in mental abilities and also respected her gradual attitude and thinking that Godzilla and the monsters were more then they appeared and acted. The psychic answered, "Col., you need to move everyone out of this area quickly! I felt something massive coming this way, and it well land to the left of this huge circle!". As if on cue to her predictions, a bright golden light appeared above all of them! The humans looked above to see what appeared to be a golden comet of sort… and it was streaking right towards the island where the circle was at! The flying crafts made a hasty exit out of range, which was smart thinking as the comet was indeed quite massive in size! Col. Alexander blew his whistle and called for everyone to evacuate the area at once.

"Everyone, move out! Move out now! Any equipment that is too big or bulky, leave it!" he ordered as safety was a priority now. Scientists and workers fled with their personal belongings and notes, soldiers escorted them quickly out of the danger zone. Few scientists did not want to leave the equipment they just brought on the scene, but a few good swift kicks to the rear by the soldiers got them to abandon their machines. Reporters and photographers fled fast, most looking up and behind them to get some photo shots of the incoming projectile. They all saw in fascination as the golden blazing star actually seemed to slow down now in descent, and form from a comet-like ball of flame to a perfect circle. Miki, Asuza and Alexander were watching in fascination at the event before them. The psychic was doing her best to hold it together though, as she felt the magic pulsing within the golden column of light. The magic was strong yet gentle at the same time, playing havoc with her mind and body as she had not felt something like this before in her entire life. Her legs threatened to give in, the positive energy she was feeling from the magical light turning her into mush. Asuza and Col. Alex saw this and quickly went to her side to aid her.

"Miki, what's wrong?!" Asuza exclaimed over the winds that were now picking up rapidly as the magical column came close to the ground.

The psychic beauty answered, "That column of light… that tunnel… it's made of magic! I don't know what is inside of it, but the magic itself… it feels so warm, right and true. Like when a mother holds her child lovingly.". Now that was certainly an answer that neither one was expecting, as the three slowly turned their heads up and gaze at the column of light as it touched down perfectly at the left side of the circle, the golden light's boundaries merging perfectly with the circle's black line edges. The equipment that the scientists and workers used were now going crazy, the magical energy causing the Geiger counters and such to go completely nuts! Some blew up due to energy overload, since the machines were designed to scan and detect radiation… but not magic. All the humans held their breath as the golden column of light soon faded to reveal… Biolantte, Ebriah, Megalon and Titanosaurus! A majority of the humans screamed out loud and backed away considerably, since these monsters were famous for their destructive habits and such. The military soldiers aimed their rifles at the monsters, knowing it was a futile move should the monsters awaken. But, they were tasked with protecting the civilians that were on this island and that was what they were planning to do. Col. Alex allowed Asuza to tend to Miki while he went to his men and the other military leaders.

"Hold your fire everyone! Just hold on! Look! The monsters… they seem to be out cold." Alexander ordered as he held his hands up. The entire body were tense, but soon saw that it was true. The monsters were piled on top of one another in a heap, while Biolantte was near them on her own. Miki was able to gain her brain and body functions back to normal, as she was helped up by Aszua. The two ladies went closer to the circle, more away from the people, to get a closer look. Miki extended her psychic power to scan the monsters, and was indeed confirming that they were knocked out. Many were wondering on what just happened, as columns of light coming out of nowhere was a major phenomenon that needed to be answered. However, many like Alexander, Asuza and Miki just believed that some mysteries needed to stay that way. However, her senses went on overload again when her mental powers warned her that a second projectile was on its way, this time landing to the right side of the circle.

Miki looked to her companion and said, "Another magic object is approaching! We need to get a little further back!". Again, it seems her predictions were right on cue, as in three minutes… another golden comet was streaking towards Monster Island! Col. Alexander and a majority of the humans looked up to see it, and another evacuation order was issued. Many beat feet and retreated from the area, some opting to leave the island altogether. Once they were a good distance away again, the entire company and G-Force turned to see on what else could be appearing. They saw the blazing golden orb slow down as it descended like its companion, and take the shape of a column of light with a perfect circular base. This time however, the scientists, reporters, photographers, military soldiers/officers, and workers saw something inside the golden pillar. Shadow images that looked very… familiar. When the pillar of light touched down, this time to the far right of the circle and of the KO'd monsters, the instruments were going crazy again! Plus, Miki's brain was going again on overload as she was overwhelmed by the magical energies coming from the pillar. All looked to see the pillar disintegrating into the ground and vanish to reveal… Godzilla, Mothra, Anguirus, and Rodan! The human's gasped and were in shock, some opting to scream in fear as they saw the monsters.

"Gojira! Godzilla! Rodan! Mothra! Anguirus! They are here?! Why did they appear like that?! What is going on?!" were the exclamations and questions being shouted by many at once. Seeing four of the most formidable monsters on planet Earth appear like that made most of the people very unsettled. The brains of scientists were working overtime as they tried to scientifically explain this miraculous appearance, military officers were calling in their superiors to request the aid of military might, and reporters were writing things down quickly or speaking into their portable video recorders to say what they were witnessing. While a majority of them were running around like chickens with their heads cut off to get their business done, some remained calm and looked at the scene with interest. The ones that actually kept their cool heads were Col. Alexander, Miki and Asuza.

The saurian opened his eyes as he looked around, having closed them due to fiery re-entry into the planet's atmosphere. Even though they were in a protective magical circle, the bright lights almost blinded him thus closing his eyes. The other monsters did the same, and now that they were open… they all saw that they were back in their world, back on their home of Monster Island. Rodan looked to see the sky, seeing the machines of man flying a bit of ways from their position. Mothra felt her connection with her home planet back in place, yet she could now feel much negativity and pollution again. Angurius and Godzilla looked straight ahead to see humans nearby, and that most of them had looks of fear, terror and/or anger on their faces. The King of the Monsters seemed to sigh, and confirm in his own way that they were indeed back home… back to a place that had pollution, human arrogance and fear, and no magic. The monsters were down a little, and Miki sensed this. Her psychic powers allowed her to feel the monster's emotions, and she was gradually growing quite empathetic towards them as she felt sadness and loss coming from them. Even Asuza and Alexander saw the looks inside the eyes of the monsters, which surprised them very much.

"Asuza… Alexander-san… the monsters, all of them… they are feeling quite sad, like they are not happy to be here. There is no longer any rage or such that is coming from them." Miki told them, which again stunned the two humans.

Before they could say anything else, they all heard some noises coming from the pile-up of monsters that came before Godzilla and the others. They were waking up! Megalon was the first to awaken, screeching softly as he slid off of Titanosaurus's prone form. The hybrid bug god of Seatopia felt dizzy and a bit disoriented, wondering on where he was. Titanosaurus soon came to, rising up slowly off of Ebriah who also woke up. Biolantte was the last, her massive heart beating and raising her crocodile-like head slowly to see her surroundings. The four beasts sensed that they were back in their original world, then turned to see that their enemies had also made it back with them! Godzilla and his allies/rivals saw the monsters and the green-skinned saurian roared, getting into a stance that showed he was ready to rumble. Anguirus did the same, standing beside his best friend while Rodan and Mothra took to the skies. The humans were now very worried and scared, thinking that a massive brawl was about to start and they were going to be caught in the middle! However, what happened next surprised them. Megalon, Titanosaurus, and Ebriah cried out… then turned the other way and ran/scuttled off. The humans got a glimpse of some formidable monsters running away from a fight, which was quite rare to see.

Ebriah, Titanosaurus and Megalon were beat, and they knew it. They had no energy, nor any reason to fight anymore. Simply put, they did not wish to push their luck this time. The three ran to a cliff that was nearby, one that overlooked the ocean. Titanosaurus ran and jumped into the salt water, making a splash and quickly swimming back out to the open Pacific Ocean. He was heading towards one of the deep trenches, to eat some of his favorite fishes and perhaps a sea mammal before going to sleep. Ebriah scuttled off the cliff's edge, dropping down like a stone in the water and scuttling away fast and free back to open waters. He turned left, going away from Titanosaurus as his favorite resting place was near one of the Polynesian islands. Megalon jumped into the air and dived like a professional human swimmer did after jumping from a high-dive board. He made a huge splash in the water, and soon swam off to his kingdom of Seatopia. Said undersea civilization was near Japan, so the hybrid bug god was making a beeline for his home.

Godzilla and the other good monsters nodded, glad that a fight was not needed. They were tired, but were more then willing to put up a good scuffle at the moment. The four turned to see Biolantte, and Godzilla was a bit wary of his half-sister. The humans were still on edge, wondering if a fight was going to brew up. Many saw that the creature of science and nature was more taller and wider then the King of the Monsters, and would be capable of taking on the four monsters. The entire group were going to witness something that they would never again see in their lifetimes…

Biolantte cried out, then slowly started to dissolve into golden pollen! It seemed that Erica had decided it was time to allow the creature to turn back into spores… and to test out the gift that the Three Good Fairies gave to her. Inside the central mind chamber, the soul of the Japanese woman was praying, hoping that the fairies magic would work even though they were back in their own universe. Then, she let out a soft gasp as she felt herself being separated from the spores and floating out from the central mind chamber! She was free! She did not see or notice the black inkiness that was also floating out as well…

Godzilla and the others backed away a tiny bit, seeing Biolantte thrash around a little as she dissolved into golden spores. Then, something happened that made Godzilla growl softly in curiosity. Emerging from the head part of his half-sister was a bright, white light that shone like a star. It was Erica Shiragami, in all her wonderful glory! The monsters were a bit surprised at this, while the humans were very much stunned by what they were seeing. Miki was very much startled since she believed that Erica was forever bound to Biolantte, always enduring a never-ending cycle of life and death with the semi-immortal creation. She felt the breath leave her body as her psychic powers picked up the sheer joy and life from Erica's soul, joy in finally being free from her fate! The Japanese woman spirit was twirling in the air like a schoolgirl that had been let out early from class. She exclaimed in a voice that was melodious and yet haunting at the same time, "I'm free! I'm free! I'm finally free! Thank you… thank you so much Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather! Domo arigato!". The humans down below and away from the monsters were now puzzled on who these names were, and Miki was also curious yet happy to see that her friend was indeed free from the curse of science.

Erica then felt that it was almost time for her to go… to ascend to the Heavens and meet her father, friends and ancestors there. She flew over to Mothra and the Twin Fairies, bowing to them and also apologizing for what happened earlier when they fought. The Twin Fairies replied, "Think nothing of it, Erica. It is in the past, and also you were not in control at the time. We only hope that you enjoy yourself when you enter Paradise.". The spirit smiled and reached out to grasp them for a hug… only for her hands and arms to pass right through them. She sheepishly smiled and chuckled, saying that she forgot for a moment that she was a spirit. Moll and Lora just giggled and bowed to her, and Mothra squeaked in amusement. Miss Shiragami then flew to Anguirus and Rodan, standing before the two and bowing to them in traditional Japanese greeting. The spiked shelled beast and the mutated pteranodon just nodded their heads and growled softly, saying in their own language that they wished her a good journey to the other side. Erica was mildly surprised at this, since she had never known the two personally, but just smiled and thanked them before flying over to the last monster… Godzilla, her half-brother.

The saurian looked at the spirit of the human who had helped him out against Biolantte in the other world, and saw that she was unlike most of the humans here in the world he was back in. True, she was a spirit but still… he saw her face, and saw a gentleness to them that reminded him of Melody, Tracy, Cinderella and Ariel. Erica went straight to his face, staring him the eyes. Godzilla could admit one thing, this human female had courage to stare at him in his own eyes. For a moment, nothing happened. Then finally, Erica gave Godzilla's forehead a small peck with her lips. The King of the Monsters felt a small but extreme warmth enter him as Erica whispered, "Thank you for helping me be free, Godzilla. It was on your part that I now free from Biolantte. I have to go, so please… give humanity a chance. Goodbye… brother.". It was then that the Japanese woman smiled, a true one that showed she was very glad that this had come to pass. The monsters, along with the humans that were watching from a distance, had their eyes locked on her form as she ascended to the heavens. Erica turned around to see the people below… and her eyes locked on Miki. The psychic user had heard all on what she said, her mental abilities allowing her to hear far more better then normal human ears.

The spirit eyes locked onto Miki's eyes and she called out, "Goodbye, Miki! Thank you for everything as well!". If one thing is for certain, Erica was a bit glad that she was bound to Biolantte in the first place. If she wasn't, the monster could have done more damage then it did in the past. In addition, it would have been a much more difficult fight for Godzilla back in the other universe to subdue the creature. Miki waved goodbye to her friend, who went off like a shooting star into the sky. Suddenly, something brilliant opened in the sky itself! A hole emerged and expanded, showering all with white light that was truly otherworldly! Many humans had to shield their eyes from the intense blast of light, but some wore sunglasses that protected them from the glare, among them was Col. Alexander. The young American gasped softly, seeing what could be described as Heaven as he saw a multitude of people in white robes, some with wings on their backs! Erica was accepted by them, and soon embracing her father who was waiting for her… Genshiro Shiragami! Alex could see someone else coming towards them, and Erica had a look of awe and reverence on her face. Before Alex could completely see who it was… the hole closed up, and the light vanished.

"Wow… truly incredible…" he whispered softly, the images burned into his memory for all times.

Nobody noticed this due to the light that was coming from the sky, but something else was rising into the heavens, towards space. It was the black inky gunk that had escaped from Biolantte, but it was very much covered in some of her spores. It was a piece of Maleficent's evil! A part of her was not completely erased, just some of her evil magic that retained a tiny portion of her consciousness. It had managed to stay hidden, and also survive the summoning spell process. It was now fleeing from the scene, heading towards the empty darkness of space. The evil magic was heading deep into the black vacuum of the cosmos… and who knows what will happen to it?

Back on Earth, the monsters were looking at one another. They were wondering on what else they should do now. Godzilla growled softly, telling them in his monster tongue that he was going back into the ocean to rest. He knew of a place in the Pacific that had large amounts of radiation, so he could absorb it, to feed on it as he rested. Mothra nodded, then let out a squeak which the Twin Fairies translated. Moll and Lora stated, "We are going back to Infant Island. I believe we have some business to finish there as well. And also, do not worry! We will take care of the gifts our friends have given us, and should you come to our island… we shall show them to you.". Godzilla, Anguirus and Rodan nodded their heads, glad that this was now possible. The spiked-shelled monster cried out, saying he was going to an island near this one to rest up. Rodan cawed out that he was going to a volcano that was near his birthplace, an island called Adona Island. It was quite a ways from here, near Japan and part of the Ring of Fire, but he was going to make the trip anyway. Godzilla nodded, then started to go to a beach that was near the area. Mothra and Rodan flew high into the sky and in opposite directions, while Anguirus made his own way to a cliff where he would jump into the ocean and swim away.

The saurian started towards the sky, stepping over the black lines that were on the ground unconsciously. Anguirus was doing the same, his feet never touching the black scorched earth lines. When Godzilla was near the beach, he felt someone nearby. Someone he met some time ago when he was released from that volcano he was imprisoned in, and after his first meeting with Biolantte. He turned to the humans, most flinching in fear and panic, and his brown eyes saw the very girl that gave him a mental command years ago. It was Miki, and the psychic lady was staring back at the King of the Monsters with neither fear or terror. She closed her eyes and summoned up the mental energy needed to probe through Godzilla's mind. By her side was Asuza and Alex, making sure that nothing bad happened to her. What happened mildly surprised her. Normally, Godzilla's mental barriers would be up to fight against any form of psychic attack. His will was strong, and trying to either subdue or redirect it was all but impossible. Miki felt Godzilla lower his mental barrier, as if he was allowing her to scan his mind. What happened next… made her gasp softly and tremble a little as she delved into his mind and saw what he remembered. It was quick like a fast-forwarding video cassette tape:

Fighting with the monsters earlier, then captured by a strange light.

Floating through time and space with Anguirus, Rodan and Mothra.

Falling to unknown land, their powers escaping them and going with the golden tunnel.

Finding out they were human-sized, shrunk down.

Meeting human children, then protecting them from human adults.

Finding a safe place and being fed and loved by the human children they found.

Playing with other human children that were not afraid of them, fighting animals to protect them.

Coming to a birthday party with many other humans around, and fighting the same ones as before.

Meeting a black-cloaked woman that was like a witch, seeing the four other monsters still big.

Helping the human children and others against some terrifying beasts and mutants.

Regaining their normal size and power, defeating their monster foes.

Battling against a transformed black dragon, being covered in a mysterious blue aura.

Seeing the smiling faces of two pre-teen girls and two women.

Ariel… Melody… Tracy… Cinderella…

When Miki came back to the present, she felt like she had gone through eternity through those memories that she gleaned from Godzilla's mind. In reality though, she had only been in a trance for two minutes or so. Alex and Asuza steadied her and the colonial inquired, "Miki, what did you do? What did you see?". The psychic looked at her friends, then at Godzilla who was staring right at her. The King of the Monsters and Miki were in a stare down of sort for awhile, then the saurian nodded his head and continued onward into the sea. He waded into the water, soon going in deeper. Anguirus was at the cliff he went to, and with a cry jumped into the water with a loud splash! He then started to swim to an island that was east of Monster Island. Godzilla was about hip-deep in the ocean, when he turned around to face the humans and let out a HUGE roar that shook the air! The people flinched and pulled back a little, then the saurian dived into the water and disappeared without a trace.

Miki stared at the ocean for awhile, her psychic powers telling her where Godzilla was at. Asuza got her attention back by shaking her a little and asked the same question Alex put out earlier. The Japanese mental master answered, "I saw many things; people that were different, a land that was completely new, the monsters smaller, and… and they were interacting and playing with people! A big battle, and also… one thing that was dominate in Godzilla's mind. Four people, I think they were called Princesses Ariel, Melody, Tracy, and Cinderella.". The colonial and the biologist had their eyes wide, and now they were beginning to question Miki's mental health when the psychic gave them a hard look.

She stated firmly, "I know what I saw in Godzilla's mind. I also felt deep human emotions from him. I… I really am starting to feel and believe that he is just more than a simple beast. Remember when that girl from the future, Emmy Kano, helped us out and told us that Japan was strong? I believe that she meant that it was strong… only due to Godzilla protecting it.". The two were about to say something to her when a quick rush of static came from a radio receiver that was on a nearby table.

"This is pilot Anthony calling Col. Alexander Pienkoss. Do you read me, over?" a voice came out from the radio. The young colonial went from his two female acquaintances to the radio and replied that he did read him. He asked him an update on the situation from the air.

Anthony replied, "Well sir… it's kind of hard to describe, really. But, I got a good view of Monster Island where I am right now in the air. And… correct me if I am wrong but… I think I see mouse ears on the island.". Now THAT was a report that neither him or his female colleagues, who were nearby and heard it, were expecting.

Alex stated slowly, "Pilot, are you sure you're not suffering from air sickness or something?". He really wanted to make sure he heard right.

The male pilot replied, "I am in excellent health, sir. But, I'll send you an aerial photograph to prove my point and report.". The large computer screen in front of him came on, and it produced a picture that was taken from Anthony's jet plane that was overhead. Alexander, Asuza, and Miki saw something that would be reported in the newspapers all over. The picture was of a bird's eyes view of the island, and it showed clearly the black lines that were on the land. They saw the first one, the massive one that all had been examining from the ground. It then showed the two latest circles that appeared when the monsters landed from the sky. And exactly as Anthony described it, the two left smaller circles were connected to the big one… and it did indeed look like mouse ears from that point of view. This made the three humans have their eyes wide in surprise and only one word passed through their lips at the same time.

They stated, "What the-?!".

~Back on Infant Island~

The natives of the island have been restless for some time, every being on the small patch of earth worried about their deity guardian and the Twin Fairies. Ever since they felt their divine beast vanish from the face of the planet, every man, woman and child on the island was in a fit of worry and anxiety. However, hope and peace were brought to their souls when a young native man pointed to the sky and waved wildly. He exclaimed in his native tongue, "Mothra! Mothra has returned to us!". This brought much cheer and relief to the inhabitants as they came to a clearing, looking upward and indeed seeing the divine moth. They danced, waved their hands in the air, and cheered as they saw the monster. However, their celebration soon died down as they saw Mothra fly over them and past the usual place where she rested. However, they did see a golden orb coming down to the ground from the moth's head. They all knew who it was; the Twin Fairies! The native inhabitants ran to where the orb was going to, and it was to the stone temple that the people built for them long ago.

The Infant Island inhabitants held their breath in wonder as the orb landed gently in front of the stone temple, and it pulsed brightly before fading away. Moll and Lora appeared before the entire tribe, and said tribe were curious when they saw the five present boxes floating behind them. The two spoke as one, "Everyone, remain calm. Mothra has gone to another island for now to lay her egg. She will return when she deems fit. For now, we wish to perform a ceremony in commemoration for the friends that we made in a world that we were at.". The natives understood, and soon drums started to fill the area as men and women started to dance around to the mysterious, alluring beat that had a certain charm to it. The Twin Fairies started to sing, their melodious voices reaching out to all that could hear them. The adults sung out in harmony with them, all following the beat of nature, until all stopped their dancing and bowed low to the mystic users of the planet.

The Twins continued to sing, then raised their voices as one, "Mothra! Mothra! Mothra…". As they chanted the words, a huge stone slab rose from the right side of their stone temple abode! Some years ago, when the Twin Fairies and Mothra first appeared to the world in 1961, and returned to Infant Island after the incident in Japan, a stone slab rose to show what had happened to them. It was on the left side of the temple, and now a new one was rising on the right side. However, this one puzzled the natives as the stone slab was quite immense and showed stone carvings of people. Each person was carved in excellent detail, especially on the face. It was the entire families that they met back in the other universe and in this order; the Rhoda's, Valentin's, Marcel's, Charming's, and Célestin's! And behind each family were the monsters, behind them in their shrunken forms. Mothra was on the far left, Rodan on Godzilla's left side, said saurian directly in the middle, and Anguirus on his right. On various random spots were the other allies; Jaq and the mice, faithful dog Max, the Three Good Fairies, Fairy Godmother Cateline, and Enchantress Rosalie! Another slab of stone rose next to it, and it had the other humans and merfolk that helped them out! Even Scuttle, Flounder, and Sebastian was in it! The natives were very much surprised to see a stone carving of merfolk, since they had never seen or heard of merpeople. All in all, it was like one big, huge stone carving picture.

When the Twin Fairies saw this, they each opened up the present boxes that were with them. Moll opened up the Valentin's present, and when the lid was removed, the necklace shot out in a color of red, green and blue light that startled/surprised the natives. It quickly back to resume its original size, and Lora used her magic to put the treasure in the place that was a little above the head of Aurora. A small but sturdy protrusion jutted out from the rock slab, making it a perfect hanging place for the present.

Next, Lora opened the Rhoda's family gift, the present once again coming out in spectacular fashion like the previous gift. The natives were stunned, more so when they saw that the necklace was of pure diamond! Little did anyone realize, but the diamond was worth a great sum of money if brought to the civilized world. However, currency was nothing to the Twin Fairies. This diamond necklace represented that was much more precious, more true then any amount of money. They hung the diamond treasure in a little over Snow White's head.

Next was the Célestin's gift, which appeared in a flash of rose-red color that entranced the people instead of surprising them. Moll put the exquisite treasure where Belle was at, just a little above her head.

The Charmings were next, their present box opening up in a flash of silver magic that got the native attention. Lora put the necklace over Cinderella's head, which was on Godzilla's left leg side.

The final one was the Marcel family, their unique gift flashing open with the color of sea-green light. The men, women and children that witnessed this felt soothed by the light. Moll and Lora nodded their heads at one another, and together both levitated the special necklace to the place that was above Ariel's head. When it was done, the Twin Fairies saw their masterpiece was complete. The tiny women looked up above the monster's heads, and saw something a bit peculiar. In the space above was the carving Mothra's symbol, a cross within the sun with lines coming from it. However, they noticed that two circles were carved into the big circle, their line curves merging with the bigger one. To the fairies, it seemed as though the symbol now represented mouse ears, which was strange yet… pleasant at the same time. They made a mental not to ask on how that came to be, but at a later time.

The twins felt a presence behind them, and turned to see two other twin fairies before them! Yes, these were the Cosmos, twins that were different in looks and personalities then the Twin Fairies. What was left of the mystical energies on Earth had come to form these two girls, to be the successors of Moll and Lora. The Twin Fairies were actually older then they looked, and they knew that their time was soon coming. So, they had been grooming and preparing the Cosmos for when the time came for them to take over the responsibilities of taking care of Mothra and the planet. The two beautiful women inquired, "Excuse us, Moll and Lora. But, who are these people that are on the stone slab? And why the monsters behind them?". They were a bit confused, since Godzilla, Rodan and Anguirus were considered threats to the planet and found it strange that Mothra would be near them without fighting.

The Twin Fairies smiled and answered, "Aimi, Kiyoko. Listen to our tale… the tale of when monsters and magic came together in the most profound way possible.". The mystical twins then started to tell the story on what happened to them, and the Cosmos and natives listened intently as eager children did at storytime in libraries. Mothra flew on back from the island she came from, exhausted both from the magical trip back home, and also laying the egg that would become the future guardian of this planet. Now, she just wanted to sleep…

~In the Pacific Ocean~

In the deep waters of the largest oceans on Earth, Godzilla was making his way towards a trench that had plenty of radiation for him to feast on. Well, not feast as in the normal way. His skin would absorb the nuclear energy in the water, purifying it in a way while his body absorbed the dangerous poison. The saurian felt though that this would not completely satisfy his hunger. Sure, it would restore his nuclear energy and keep his heart pumping. But after tasting the sweet meat that his bonded humans gave him, he would crave it. But, the food here in this realm was very small at best so… he had to be satisfied with what he had to work with. He made his way to the trench, where many nuclear tests had been done here thanks to humans. The King of the Monsters growled as he made his way to the large cut in the ocean floor, feeling the radiation seep into his being. He went into the deepest part of the trench, and sat down on his haunches. He then started to drift off into a dream, not knowing that his allies/rivals were doing the same.

Mothra was falling asleep on her island home.

Anguirus had managed to find a suitable resting spot near Monster Island, and he was going into a mountain to rest there.

Rodan had managed to find a suitable hotspot volcano that was near Adona Island, folding his wings up in the crater to sleep.

All of the monsters were asleep, almost at the exact same time!

In their dreams, they saw this:

Godzilla stomping on the ground, creating thunderous noises as he walked the earth. Mothra was in the air, flying gracefully and with care. Rodan was also in the sky, above her and flying fast and free. Anguirus was crawling beside Godzilla, and the four monsters were in their original size. They were walking towards a human structure in the distance, a huge palace that was very familiar. And waiting for them, yes… waiting for them, were a group of familiar humans, magical beings and animals. The palace was near the sea, and in the waters were familiar half-human, half-fish beings. One was carrying a three-pronged spear. They were covered in shadows, so they could not see their faces.

However, some faces stood out clearly, with warm smiles and a friendly wave to them. For Mothra, she saw the faces of Kathrin and Snow White.

For Rodan, he saw the grins of Edgard, Dianne and Aurora.

For Anguirus, he was greeted with the mischievous smiles of Mainard and Belle.

For Godzilla… the King of the Monsters… he saw the smiling faces of Ariel, Melody, Tracy, and Cinderella.

All of them said at the same time, "Welcome back, our friends! Welcome back our friends from another place!

(Author's Notes: And… cut! This is the end of Epilogue #1! So, how did you like this one? Did any of you recognize the Hidden Mickeys in this one? Heh, Toho left its mark in the Disney world, and now Disney has left its mark on the Toho world! Also, I figured that time and space had different laws and such when it came to universal travel. Just like when you change clocks to adjust to certain time zones, different universes have a different flow of time from one to the other.

I bet some of you are wondering what the black piece of Maleficent's evil magic, along with the spores of Biolantte clinging to it, will become in the future? I'll tell you. It will become… Space Godzilla! If any of you have seen the movie Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla, then you can guess how it came to be! I have the movie, and seen it many times. In the movie, Space Godzilla had such intelligence and excellent use of her abilities. I thought it would be good to show that Space Godzilla was powerful and intelligent due to being changed in more ways then simply going through a black hole and absorbing energy from surrounding stars. That she was intelligent because she was bonded to an already intelligent, magical being! Magic helped it evolve and change into the monster Space Godzilla!

Now, here are the questions: If you were any of the people on the island investigating, which would you choose? A reporter, scientist, worker, soldier or military officer? What would your reaction be upon seeing the monsters return like they did? What do you think of Erica escaping from her fate thanks to the Good Fairies? And finally, what would you think if you had Miki's powers and saw into Godzilla's mind like she did?

I not only dedicate this epilogue to Anna Nakagawa, but also to my two friends APienkoss (Alexander Pienkoss) and Japan Boy (Anthony)! I hope they like it. Coming up next, epilogue #2 that takes place in the Disney universe!

R&R, no flames, enjoy and leave long reviews!)
