AN-So this oneshot isn't exactly a request; it's just an extra chapter I added in addition to the one before this since today is the SIX YEAR iKiss anniversary (feel old yet? Yeah, I know). Enjoy!

Breath

"I swear, these Webicon things get weirder every year," Carly said as the iCarly trio sat backstage, getting ready to do a Question and Answer session at the annual Webicon convention. "I think I saw a guy out in the lobby with a pet fish on a leash; on a leash! Isn't that-Oh, sorry, I forgot I'm being ignored!"

She reached for an orange from a nearby fruit bowl and tossed it over at the small sofa, where Sam and Freddie were currently busying themselves by engaging in their third make-out session of the day.

"Ow!" Freddie exclaimed as him and Sam pulled apart. "What was that for, Carly?"

"You guys have been making out for ages already!" Carly said. "It'd be nice if we could enjoy a few tongue free minutes before we go out there!"

"We weren't making out," Sam defended. "We were just exchanging an, er, good luck kiss."

"For twenty-eight minutes?" Carly said, raising an eyebrow.

"Well we have to get it out of our system," Freddie said. "Because when we go out there in a few minutes, me and Sam are officially not a couple."

"Oh right," Carly nodded. "I forgot about that. Are you sure you guys can handle pretending not to be in a relationship out there for two whole hours?"
"Course we can," Sam said. "Besides, it's better than starting another fan war like last time."

"I guess that's true," Carly agreed.

"I still don't know why we had to come back here in the first place, though," Sam said.

"Oh come on, we owe it to the fans," Freddie said. "I mean next week is our last official web show. Then we're on hiatus for the next few months while we go off to college. They're sad to see us go."

"Yeah, you'll see, it won't be as bad as last time," Carly said. "Especially since nobody knows you guys are dating. As long as we stay clear from relationships as a whole, I'm sure we can have a nice, calm Q&A session."

"Guys?" the Webicon director said, stepping into the room. "We're ready for you out there."
"Okay," Carly smiled. "We'll head out now then."

As Carly hurried out of the room behind the director, Sam made to follow her, but Freddie quickly grabbed her hand, stopping her.

"What?" Sam asked.

Freddie leaned and planted one more kiss on her lips.

"Just needed to do that one more time," Freddie told her.

Sam grinned. "Come on, nub, let's get out there."
The auditorium where the Q&A session was being held was packed with hundreds of screaming iCarly fans who all cheered and screamed as Carly, Sam and Freddie stepped out on stage and sat down at the long table set up for them.

"We love you, iCarly!"

"iCarly is my life!"

"Keep iCarly on forever!"

"Wow…that's a whole lot of crazy out there," Sam commented as the teens sat down.

"Sam, be nice," Carly told her best friend as she picked up the microphone. "Hey all you iCarly fans! Thanks for coming!"

A wave of applause responded.

"Yeah, it means a lot that you guys have supported the show for all these years now," Freddie added, picking up his own microphone.

"Yeah, it's pretty cool that you guys like the show that much," Sam nodded.

"And we're all really sad about having to end it next week-" Carly continued.

"Don't end it!"

"iCarly forever!"

"-But we are all going off to college and we're just going to have too much on our plates to keep up with our regular schedule," Carly finished. "Don't worry, though. We'll definitely put up some clips for you guys during breaks."

"That's why we're doing this Q&A session, though," Freddie said. "So that you can get any final iCarly questions off your chest."
"That's right!" Carly grinned. "So go ahead, ask us anything!"
At once every hand in the room went up.

"Um, you there, the guy with the shirt covered in mustard stains," Carly said.

"Yes!" a large man with a disgustingly stained shirt exclaimed as he jumped to his feet.

"What's your question?" Carly smiled.

"Well, my question is about that Gibby kid you have on the show all the time," the man said. "What exactly is wrong with him?"
"Too many things," Sam said. "We've lost count. Alright, next!"

"Um, how about that guy right there," Freddie said, pointing to a relatively attractive teen in the front row. "Do you have a question for us?"
"Sure do," the boy nodded, standing up. "My question's for Sam."

"Oh um, okay," Sam said. "Shoot."

"Well on iCarly webcast a few years back, you announced live on the Internet that you've never been kissed yet," the boy said.

Freddie frowned, but said nothing.

"That's not a question!" Sam snapped.

"But this is," the boy grinned. "How would you like me to be your first kiss?"

"Hey!" Freddie yelled before he could stop himself.

Carly and Sam both gave him warning looks.

"I, um, like your shirt," Freddie told the boy lamely, thought still glaring at him.

"So what do you say?" the boy asked Sam.

"Hmm, I say you have ten seconds to shut up before I shove this microphone down-" Sam stared.

"Hey!" another boy interrupted her, jumping to his feet. "If anybody gets to be Sam Puckett's first kiss, it's me! You know how long I've wanted to kiss a girl from the Internet?"

"Yeah, well with a face like yours, the only Internet girl that will be kissing you is Ms. Pac Rat!" Sam retorted.

"Wait, I want to be Sam Puckett's first kiss!" a third boy exclaimed.

"No me!"

"I want to!"

"Um, listen, guys," Freddie said, trying to stay calm about the fact that the room was now suddenly filled with desperate guys trying to kiss his girlfriend. "We're not really here to talk about relationships or romance or kissing, so why don't we just change the subject and-"

"She said we could ask about anything!" one of the boys yelled, pointing at Carly.

"Thanks a lot, Carls," Freddie mumbled under his breath.

"Well how was I supposed to know this would happen?" Carly hissed. She picked up her microphone again. "Hey! People! Listen up! Look, Sam is really flattered that all of you, um, handsome gentlemen want to be her first kiss-"

"No I'm-" Sam started.
"But unfortunately," Carly quickly went on. "Sam's already had her first kiss since that web show so it's a little too late for you guys."
"Um, yeah," Sam nodded. "Yeah, I, unlike ninety percent of the people in this room, have actually kissed someone other than a stuffed animal, so just drop-"

"Lies!" the first boy said loudly.

"She's not lying!" Freddie snapped.

"Since the airing of the web show in question, Sam's never been in any relationship!" another boy said. "Otherwise it would've been reported on the Web Celebrities website!"

"Oh come on!" Carly said, frustrated. "That website's totally inaccurate!"

"More lies!"

"Your face is a lie!" Sam yelled.

"If you've really kissed someone," the first boy said, crossing his arms. "Tell us his name!"

"I don't have to tell you his name!" Sam argued.

"Because he doesn't have a name because he's not real!"

"Just make up a name!" Freddie whispered to Sam. "Before we have a riot on our hands!"

"Fine!" Sam said, glaring. "His name was…Joe! Joe, er, Thomas! Now all of you just shut up about-"

"She doesn't know any Joe Thomas!" a boy in the back announced loudly, holding up his Pearpad. "I just did a search of all her friends on Splashface and there's not one Joe Thomas!"

"Okay, I think we've officially reached a level of creepy awkwardness that's over the line," Carly said. "Let's please just change the subject and-"

"So which one of us gets to be Sam's first kiss?" another boy from the audience yelled.

"I brushed my teeth yesterday!"

"I wore my fancy retainer!"

"I-"

"Enough!" Freddie exclaimed, getting to his feet. "You guys are all acting like pathetic losers! Sam wouldn't want to kiss any of you, and none of you are even decent enough to deserve to kiss her in the first place! And besides, none of you could've been her first kiss anyway…I was her first kiss!"

There was a series of shocked gasps from the audience.

"Freddie…" Carly said. "Be careful."
"Yeah, that's right!" Freddie said. "That night after Sam told the Internet she had never kissed anybody to protect me from being mocked, she came outside to my fire escape to apologize and we...we each had our first kiss. And it was magical and tingly and…perfect."

Sam stared up at Freddie, giving him a small smile.

"And now I'm lucky enough to get to relive that magic every day," Freddie continued. "Because…Because me and Sam are a couple."
There was another wave of gasps.

"We've been dating for nine months, three weeks and five days," Freddie said. "And I've loved every second of it. Just like I love Sam."

Freddie sat back down and Sam leaned over and whispered, just so he would hear.

"I love you too."

"So…" Carly said to the now stunned and silent audience. "Now that that's all settled, who has a question strictly related to iCarly and not abut our personal lives?"
"Couldn't have started with that restriction?" Sam mumbled, rolling her eyes.

As the question and answer session continued, Freddie continued to think about that night on the fire escape where him and Sam had first kissed.
Back then, he didn't know that would be the first of many kisses. He didn't know how much he'd come to crave Sam's touch on his lips. He didn't know that the sparks he felt that night would never fade or that he'd soon feel incomplete without a kiss from Sam each day.

But now he knew how much meaning that first kiss had carried.

It had the first step in the most exciting journey that he knew was going to last the rest of his life.
