Cruel

"Man, this place is beautiful!" Carly said as her, Spencer, Freddie, and Sam looked around the large cabin they would be staying at that week. "It's like something you would see in one of those Fancy Living magazines!"

"Yeah, I can't believe we get to spend the next seven days in paradise here," Freddie nodded. "How lucky is it that your dad's friend let us use his cabin this weekend?"

"Uh, so lucky," Carly grinned.

"This place has everything!" Spencer commented. "A kitchen, a fireplace, Jacuzzi tubs…I should get me a cabin like this!"

"With what money? You're broke!" Sam scoffed.

"Hey, I'll have you know I found ten bucks in the couch cushions before we left!" Spencer snapped.

"Whatever," Sam smirked, rolling her eyes as she stepped over to the sliding glass door and looked outside. "Whoa, what lake is crystal clear! And there's a dock we can do cannonballs off of!"

"Well how about we all unpack and then go for a swim?" Carly suggested. "There's three bedrooms here, so Spencer can take the one downstairs, and Sam, Freddie, and I will take the other two."

"Wait, how are you guys dividing up the rooms?" Spencer frowned, looking at Sam and Freddie.

"Dude…" Sam sighed. "We've been over this. Fredwad and I are sharing a room."

"But…gross!" Spencer cringed.

"Come on, Sam and I have been dating for three years," Freddie said. "Believe it or not we have slept in the same bed before and-"

"Ah! I don't want to hear it!" Spencer exclaimed at once, covering his ears. "Fine, do what you want! Just-Just don't speak about it!"

"Done," Sam said. "Now come on, let's throw our bags down and get into that lake.

"Sorry Spencer still tries to give you a hard time about sharing a room, you guys," Carly said as the three headed up the stairs. "But you know he just does it because he thinks of you all like his younger siblings too. Especially you, Sam."

"I know," Sam smiled. "It's not that annoying."

"Well, you guys can take this room," Carly said as they reached the second floor. "I'll take the one down the hall. I'll meet you guys down by the lake in a few."

"See you," Freddie said as Sam pushed open the door of the bedroom and stepped inside.

"Man, this place is awesome!" Sam grinned, looking around at the room. "We've got our own bathroom, a queen-sized bed, a great view of the lake…what more could we want?"

"Yeah, this place is much nicer than that Blue Roof we stayed in during our trip to California in the winter," Freddie nodded, closing the door behind him.

"No duh," Sam said. "I doubt we're gonna find a six-legged rat here."

"Ugh, we swore we'd never speak of that again," Freddie cringed, stepping over to his girlfriend and lacing his hands around her waist as he leaned down and kissed her. Sam kissed him back at once, but then quickly pulled away.

"Baby, come on, we can't ditch Carls and Spencer at the lake," Sam said.

"Aw, why not?" Freddie moaned.

"Because, the point of this trip is for us all to spend time together before we go back up to school for our last year of college," Sam said. "We can't just spend the entire week locked away in our room."

"Fine," Freddie sighed.

"Don't worry, though," Sam said, leaning up to give him one last peck. "Tonight we'll take advantage of that Jacuzzi tub."

"Nice," Freddie grinned, grabbing his bathing suit from his bag and pulling it on. "Of course having to see you in that bikini isn't going to make the wait any easier."

"Like what you see, nub?" Sam chuckled as she tied up her bikini top.

"Very much," Freddie said, wrapping his arms around her again and pressing her body against his, loving how perfectly they fit together. "Very, very much."

"Yeah?" Sam smiled, grinding her hips slightly against his, causing Freddie to moan softly.

"Oh yeah," Freddie nodded.

"Well splash yourself with cold water or something," Sam smirked, flicking his head as she pulled away from him and slid on her flip-flops. "Mama wants to get down to the water."

"You torture me, you know that?" Freddie said, taking a few deep breaths before grabbing his towel and sunblock and sliding on his own flip-flops. "Alright, let's go before I explode."

"Sunscreen?" Sam said, raising an eyebrow as she glanced at the bottle.

"Um, yeah?" Freddie nodded.

"Baby, you do realize your mom isn't on this trip, right?" Sam said.

"So? That doesn't make the UV rays from the sun any less powerful," Freddie said.

"Oh my God," Sam laughed. "You're seriously gonna wear that stuff?"

"You're not?" Freddie said.

"Um, no, because I'm not lame," Sam said.

"Well you're going to get sunburnt then," Freddie told her.

"No, I won't," Sam said. "Pucketts have thick skin."

"Sam…" Freddie said. "Come on, don't be stubborn. You know how painful it's going to be for you if your get burnt? Very. Come on, I'll rub the sunscreen on you and everything."

"Nah, I'm good," Sam said. "Fredwash, I'm telling you, I don't get sunburnt."

Freddie rolled his eyes, knowing very well that there was nothing he could say to change his girlfriend's mind.

"Fine, don't wear sunscreen," Freddie conceded. "But I want it on record that I tried to get you to wear it."

"Okay, whatever, it's on record," Sam said, shaking her head. "Now can we swim?"

"Yeah, let's go," Freddie said heavily. "Though I know this is going to end badly."

"I'm so glad Spencer brought his Galaxy Wars trivia game," Freddie said that evening as he stepped back into his and Sam's bedroom. "We just spent the past four hours battling it out. You'll be proud to know I cam out victorious, by the way."

"For the love of ham stop talking!" Sam moaned from the bed, where she was lying flat on her back.

"Ah, right," Freddie nodded. "You and I have plans in that Jacuzzi tub. I'll go fill it up and-"

"I'm not moving," Sam said firmly. "And if you touch me, you're getting a wedgie."

"Huh?" Freddie frowned. "What's wrong?"

"N-Nothing," Sam said quickly, pulling the covers that she was housed under closer to her body. "I'm just tired…that's all."

Freddie gave her a knowing look before yanking back the sheets, revealing Sam's bright red body.

"Ah-ha!" Freddie exclaimed. "You're sunburnt!"

"No, I'm not!" Sam said. "I-I fell in some red paint!"

"Really?" Freddie said. "So you won't mind if I were to take this rubber band here and flick it right at your thigh?"

"I told you," Sam said, glaring at him. "You touch me, you get a wedgie."

"Wouldn't you giving me a wedgie require you to move?" Freddie smirked.

"I-shut up!" Sam snapped as Freddie chuckled. "Fine, you win! I-I got sunburnt! You happy?"

"Am I happy that my girlfriend is withering in pain? Pfft, no," Freddie said. "Am I happy about being right about something? Perhaps…"

"If my entire body wasn't burning right now, you'd be getting a flying fizzband," Sam said bitterly.

"Alright, alright, I'll stop," Freddie smiled, reaching into his bag and pulling out a large bottle. He sat down next to her on the bed and gently pushed her shirt up, revealing her tomato-colored stomach.

"What are you doing?" Sam winced. "I told you, everything hurts. There's no way I'm having sex with you."

"Relax, I know that," Freddie said gently. "But this stuff will help your burn. I brought it as a precaution just in case my sunscreen didn't work."

"God…you're the biggest geek on the planet," Sam mumbled. "You're-oh! Oh that feels nice!"

Freddie smiled as he continued to rub the aloe cream onto Sam. "You were saying?"

"Fine, you're slightly less geekier," Sam said, though she gave him a small smile.

"Better," Freddie grinned.

Sam sighed. "I guess…I guess maybe I should've listened to you. I mean if I would've worn the stupid sunscreen, we could've been in the tub right now…"

"Don't worry about that," Freddie told her, rubbing the lotion down her legs. "Let's just get you feeling better."

Sam rolled her eyes, but continued to smile at her boyfriend. "I love you."

"I love you too," Freddie replied.

"But, um, baby?" Sam said. "Could you try to rub that lotion a little less…sexily? You're kind of torturing me here."

Freddie chuckled as he gently rubbed the aloe onto the sensitive spot right above her left hipbone. "Consider this payback from earlier, baby."
