A/N: Melamin - My love

Where are we going, Eilidiel?" Gwen asked and looked around. She never was at that part of the Mirkwood palace. The elf smiled brightly at Gwen and said. "Wait, I will show you. And I am sure you will love it." She winked at Gwen and then stopped in front of a big, wooden door. The door was huge, even huger than all the others. It was elaborately decorated. Gwen stood there in awe, she was already fascinated but then Eilidiel opened it and Gwen's mouth dropped open.

It was a library.

A huge library with some cushions on the floor and near the big windows, two small tables were standing next to a comfortable-looking lounge. It was a dazzling place.

"Oh….Oh!" Gwen walked through the doors and looked around with wide eyes. "That is….that is so beautiful." Eilidiel had walked a bit into the library and stood there, smiling at the reaction of the young lady.

"Eilidiel, that….that is, oh, I don't know how to describe it with just one word…" Gwen walked to the shelves and looked at all the books. "I knew you would like it here as you said you loved to read before the world had changed for you." The maid said, watching Gwen closely.

Gwen stopped at one shelf and randomly picked one book, pulling it out carefully. She held it in her hands, looking at it and running her hand over the cover slowly. The she held it to her nose, smelling the old smell of it. She loved books, always had. Then she opened the book and looked through it. "Ah…but these are all in elvish. Mhm…well, either someone reads it to me or I have to learn it."

While she was standing there in front of that shelf and talking to Eilidiel, Thranduil walked into the library. He smiled at Eilidiel and motioned her with his hand that she could leave. The maid bowed and then left.

Thranduil walked up to Gwen silently."Eilidiel, do you think, someone here can..." Gwen turned around and let out a shriek of shock as she saw Thranduil standing that close behind her. "Mahal, w-what…" Thranduil furrowed his brows and put his thumb and his pointer finger onto his nose bridge and massaging it. "Ah, all the time these dwarvish words…I will get a migraine…"

Gwen squeezed her lips together and then started laughing, looking at him. "My deepest apologies, my king." She held the fabric of her dress up and dropped a curtsey. Thranduil started laughing as well at her mocking and shook his head.

The blonde smiled at him and then looked at the shelves again. "This here is so beautiful." Thranduil came closer and wrapped his fingers around her chin. "It exists for a long time now. I think one of my great ancestors started with collecting books and so do I now." He said, looking above her head at the shelves, and then her lips caught his attention. He ran his thumb over her bottom lip and pulled it down slowly by sliding his thumb down. That caused Gwen to slightly open her mouth as she looked into his eyes, her breath quickening.

"What are you doing to me, Gwendolyn? You are like a sickness." He whispered and nipped at her lips.

"I would prefer to be called an addiction." She took a deep breath.

"You would like that?" Thranduil chuckled.

"Oh I would love that." The blonde replied and finally the king crushed his lips onto hers.

Gwen melted in the kiss; she wrapped her arms around his waist for support. His one hand remained on her chin as his other hand moved into her hair, softly running his long fingers through it.

Thranduil pulled away a little bit, their lips still slightly touching as he whispers, his eyes half-closed. "I can teach you elvish, melamin."

"What does it mean?" She whispers breathlessly. Thranduil released her cheek and his fingers trailed over her shoulder and her arm then he took her hand into hers and placed it onto his chest, right at the spot of his heart. And then she knew what he meant with that word.
