Two blocks just to more blocks and he would be home. People who have been in fires or in a lesser extent, people who have ever spilled hot oil on themselves, while they're cooking will understand. The feeling that began to take over no longer was it bound by movements but his entire nervous system burdened, uncontrollably.
In a spray of blood and miracle, the legendary sword Excalibur emerged from his chess, yet there was no pain, only a sense of danger. Every beat of his heart brought them closer to each other, somehow someway allowing then to speak to one another.
Yet there were no words exchanged, no signs used, nor was there any form of acknowledgment whatsoever. Yet he knew her name [Arturia Pendragon, king\queen Arthur] and she knew his.
In all honesty, the whole exchange didn't take more than half a second, but to him, it was an entire lifetime or at least what seemed like it. After all having a sword sticking out of your chess is disorienting.
Their conversation came down to this Excalibur is rejecting you, you are not wordy. That woman really needed to lighten up but to think that all of his weapons were inside him awaiting his call. His pain was explained as well, your weapons are inside you if you don't wish to feel the pain of them draining you. Them you must store them somewhere else, then she promptly kicked him out.
Stretching both hands out he slowly pulled the sword out of his chess, ''Well I guess I should find someone that can use you and won't kill me for no reason.'' Swinging the blade over his shoulder, carefully so he didn't cut his own head off, he immediately felt the impact of the sword hitting something.
''Did I hit something'' he said, but seeing as there was no one there he simply shrugged it off and move on.
There are times in life that a person for some reason can assume something and be spot on, this was one of said moments for a young vampire. As she laid there on the street, she could swear that the sword was laughing at her.
Her only thought at the moment was. ''Just how the hell did she get hit, she was camouflaged and gave no outer presence. She literally did not exist, yet he swatted her aside like some sort of bothersome fly." Silently and as she shook an imaginary fist at the man that was walking away completely unaware of her presence, she swore to herself, that this wasn't over.
Still, even in these times of shaky peace and uneasy alliance, there are forces at work-forces that would have never risen, had they never felt the presence of a once believed dead enemy. Even as the man entered his home and as he was greeted by the three joy filled women, those very same horses began to awaken.
Even as the Dog Girl jumped on him and the Cat Girl rubbed on his back, while the Angel smiled and almost immediately broke into all-out laughter, as the two younger girls accidentally made the man fall.
It was at this moment that two young vampires, watched from afar, as they held a look of envy and anger. And just like that the day ended and their new roles in life began, while some would stay where they are, others would change.
Still, even during these times, someone was hard at work, as a Fallen Angel, sat in his endless library. As a large grin appeared on his face, the wide grin somehow making his teeth seem like fangs.
His thoughts filled with the experiments he would be doing soon enough. As the book in front of him, was titled the legend of the forever evolving dragon.
As for the man responsible for setting the events in motion, he could only remember the words his uncle had given him "In a single day the world could change, rich become poor. The elderly die and the sick get better one way or another." Those were the words of wisdom, his uncle had passed on to him, now he understood why.
As a boy, he believed girls were weird and had cooties, as a teen he heard the stories of guys having threesomes and girls gone wild. In his twenties, he now new one massive deal breaker. It had gotten late and it was time to go to sleep, the problem was there was only one bed.
In all honesty, it wasn't that big of a deal, he could just sleep on the floor or simply sleep with the girls on the same bed. He now knew that anyone that opted for the later was an idiot.
Why simple, he tried to sleep on the floor, thereby leaving both the bed and the couch for the three girls. Obviously, they refused, but it was a catgirl and the dog girls, natural instincts still kicked in.
He had been bitten, scratched, and repeatedly punched thru the entire night, oh and don't think that his newly purified angel was an exception, that girl actually kissed him when she thought he was asleep.
This caused his dog girl to punch her, she missed and hit him. Then that girl did it again, his catgirl bit him, this went on for the entire night. Why didn't he just get up and leave, well the three of them are like Tanks completely unmovable when they want something.
His only saving grace was that the sword Excalibur, flew onto his leg and fixed his injuries. Yet for reasons he did not understand, Arturia was not there, no instead he was met with an image of a white creature, that would not shut up, and would not stop calling him a fool.
So in his late twenties, early thirties he now knew, that fantasy means shit in real life.
Unbeknownst to this poor soul, someone else shared his pain.
''Would you shut up!'' screamed a creature's voice that came from a golden light
''Fool! I still haven't finished telling you about what I found in my nose the other day.'' a completely white creature, answered back. His white top hat and cane gave it a somewhat gentlemen look
''That's it, I'm out of here. I'll come back when he shuts up'' said another voice, somehow sounding distant as it had gone away somewhere. Which was odd considering they were all inside the man's soul and he was getting his ass kicked by his three women right now.
''Fool! Bring back some tea'' answered the white creature ''Oh now where was I'' said Excalibur.
