Extra Chapter: It's Beginning to look like-WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! (Part 2)
"Ack! Hech-hech! Ech!" Arin coughed violently as he covered his mouth to shield himself from the dust rising from the impact of the tree falling over. "God damn it!"
"I know! That was a long winded first sentence to a chapter!" Drew joked.
Similarly, Drew, Nina and Richard flapped their arms in an attempt to blow some of the smoke away. "This is most troublesome!" Richard commented.
"Moonmoon! Hey, where are you?!" Nina frantically searched for the pup. Moonmoon began yelping out to Nina, as if he was also scared of the sudden falling tree.
Arin managed to open his eyes and peer at the wreckage. "How the hell does this much dirt get thrown up in the air?! It the middle of Winter for God's sake!"
"Found him!" Nina cried as she held up Moonmoon, who immediately started growling angrily at her.
As the dust settled, Drew climbed up on the side of the fallen tree, and placed his hands on hips triumphantly. "No tree is safe from the fangs of Drew Naywing! Mwahahahaha!" he cackled manically. He felt a small pain in the side of his head as Arin threw a small stone at him.
"Yeah, yeah, you can chop down a tree, congratulations fearless leader."
"Leader!" Richard caught Drew's attention. "Please tell us, how shall we return the target back to base?!"
"I 'unno. Probably roll it." Drew shrugged.
"WE CAN'T ROLL IT!" Arin and Richard yelled in unison.
"K then, we'll drag it longy ways."
"THE SHAPE ISN'T THE PROBLEM!"
"Fine, whatever we-"
"Shut up for a minute!" The boys' arguing grinded to a halt when Nina's unusually urgent voice rang out. Both her and Moonmoon held their heads up and gazed deep into the forest, fear etched into both their eyes.
"What are you two-"
"Wait!" Arin and Richard had their eyes closed, listening intently to the deep sounds of the forest. "I can hear it too."
Following their example, Drew closed his eyes and listened carefully.
thump... thump... thump...
Drew panicked.
"Holyshitholyshitholyshit, something's moving in there!" he blurted out.
"EVERYONE CALM DOWN! We have to immediately return home!" Richard ordered. "If we encounter any Grimm in here, none of us can defeat them!"
"Hey, I still have my sword!" Drew pointed out.
"You're absolutely right, Richard." Arin nodded in agreement. "Nina, can you tell where it is?"
"Hey, what the heck did I just say?!" Drew cried out.
"I'm not sure... But it's definitely walking, meaning that it's a land bound Grimm." she informed, uncharacterically calm and oriented.
"Yes! Taking a route through the tree branches would be the safest option!" Richard decided.
"Alright, everyone get ready to jump!" Arin said as the three of them rushed to the nearest tree. They only stopped when they noticed their missing 'leader', turning around to see him pulling at the base of the fallen tree. "Drew! What are you doing?!"
"I'm taking the tree with us! What does it look like I'm doing?" he moaned.
Thump.. Thump.. Thump..
The ominous footsteps grew louder by the second. Now they could be heard without any silence. Arin swiftly walked over to Drew, grabbed him by both shoulders and glared at him in the eye. "Drew. We normally put up with your shit, but not right now. There's some... thing coming towards us! And whatever it is, we are in no condition to put up a fight, so if we don't run right now, we're dead! Do you understand?!"
"Yeah, but I, like, worked pretty hard to cut this thing down. We just gotta take it back man, y'know?"
Arin slapped Drew. "No. We're leaving." He began dragging Drew by the hand, only to find resistance from Drew who was holding onto a stray branch from.
"Nope."
"For fuck's sake, Drew!" Arin grabbed Drew with both hands in attempt to detach him from the trunk.
"MISTER NAYWING! Cease this immediately!" Richard dashed over and helped Arin, but to no avail.
"Drewy! We gotta go!" Nina begged her stubborn leader.
Drew shook his head defiantly. "Nu-uh! We aren't leaving this place without-"
THUMP!
The four tangled members of team DARN froze as they heard the thundering slam mere inches behind them. Turning their head slowly, the fearsome Grimm came into view. It had four long, thick legs covered in greasy, pitch black fur with stubby hooves protruding underneath the hair. The four legs towered up a good five meters to meet the elk-like body and head, decorated in the same eerie fur. The head held two blood-red eyes, leering intently at the four, and two antlers branching out into the air. Oh, and its nose was a bright shade of red.
Arin shivered at the sight of the towering monster. "Oh... shit-"
"Is that Rudolf?" Drew raised an eyebrow at the Grimm's appearance. "It kinda looks like Rudolf."
"GOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!" Its deep, bellowing roar echoed throughout the forest, followed up by it raising its foot and stomping on DARN's position. The four scattered, leaving the giant Grimm to smash the ground here they stood.
Richard and Arin dashed to the nearest tree, withdrawing behind it. "What the hell is that thing?!" Arin panted heavily in panic.
"Well-um!" Richard panted, similarly shaken."J-Judging from the size and shape, i-it has to be a B-Class Grimm!"
"Yeah, but what the hell is it doing here?!" Arin yelled. The beast must have heard him as it stepped over to their tree, balanced itself on its hind legs and pressed its fore legs against the tree's bark. "What the hell?!" Arin gasped as the two heard the creaking of the falling tree.
Fortunately the tree, and for that matter the Grimm, was quite slow in its actions, giving Arin and Richard ample time to escape. They dashed a couple of meters to the side, distancing themselves from the colossal beast.
Arin turned to Richard. "Got a plan?!"
"No!"
"Found Moonmoon!" Nina cheered, suddenly appearing beside the two, holding the sleeping mass that was Moonmoon.
This startled the already terrified boys. "Gah! What the fuck, Nina?!" Arin screamed.
"Confound it, Crusher!" Richard scolded. "This isn't the time for that, we must formulate a strategy to survive this ordeal! We don't even know what Grimm this is, so how are we-"
"Oh, you don't know?" Nina tilted her head curiously as she stuffed Moonmoon down her hoodie. "That's a Xernal Spirit, B-class Grimm, common habitat: dense forests, known for great strength and thick fur acting as a natural defense mechanism, but is rather slow in movement." Nina casually recited her text book knowledge of the Grimm.
"HOW DO YOU KNOW ALL THIS?!" A baffled Richard screamed.
"You're forgetting..." Arin rubbed the inside of his ear, it slightly hurting from Richard's outburst. "She's the type who doesn't study cuz she's naturally gifted."
"Aww, what can I say! Teehee!" Nina giggled at the comment.
"Whatever... So, that thing's pretty nasty but slow, huh?" Arin returned his attention to the Grimm. Indeed it was slow, as it was only now fully stepped off the new fallen tree.
"It's Rudolf though." Drew's voice appeared behind the three, making Arin and Richard jump out of the skin once again
"Jesus Christ, Drew!" Arin yelped.
"Must you say that on Christmas Eve?" Drew shook his head in disappointment.
Arin promptly slapped Drew in the face. "None of your shit right now." he ordered.
Drew winced as he nursed his red mark on his cheek. "But he looks like Rudolf though!" he moaned.
"What are you talking about?!" Richard scowled.
"Rudolf. Y'know... Rudolf the red nose-"
"I know how the song goes!" Richard pointed to the slowly advancing Grimm. "But how does that look like Rudolf?!"
Arin furrowed his brow in disbelief. "You guys... are really gonna argue about this?"
"Well, it's a Reindeer, and it has a red nose! What else am I to think?!" Drew defended his point.
"It looks nothing like a Reindeer! It's clearly an Elk!"
Arin hurried his face in his hands. "Oh my God, you really are..."
"What difference does it make if it's and Elk or a Reindeer?! Nina, doesn't something else about it relate to Christmas?!"
"Well, it is supposed to hibernate for 11 months of the year, so..."
"Ha! Active in December! Christmas! Rudolf!" Drew grinned smugly in victory.
"That doesn't make your point-"
"Whatever!" Drew reached for his sheathed sword, pull it out and pointed it at the Xernal Spirit. "Anyway, let's get to work killin' this thing!" He then dashed towards the Grimm.
"D-Drew!" Arin reached out in panic. "We can't fight this thing! We have to run!"
Arin's pleas were stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Nina giving a reassuring smile. "Arin, we both know he isn't leaving here without that tree. And we're probably gonna have to kill the Grimm to do it."
Arin sighed. "Yeah... I guess we do."
Meanwhile, Drew ran up to and jumped at one of its front legs, slashing his sword diagonally down. The blade bounced off the thick fur however and Drew fell back onto the ground with a grunt. He could see the Grimm sluggishly lifting its hoof, aiming to step on him. Drew quickly got to his feet and decided to run forward, underneath the Xernal Spirit's stomach and eventually past its hind legs. He looked back to his enemy and smirked. "Looks like I'll have to grace you with one of my Secret Techniques!" he taunted. He then pointed and held his sword in a large manner of elaborate and fancy poses. "Finishing Move: Drew Strazer!" he cried as finally released his blade, throwing it at the Grimm's head. Fortunately, unlike last time, his sword didn't fly off into the forest, and instead actually flew towards its head. Unfortunately, the Grimm saw the incoming weapon and simply tilted its head, making it clash with its antlers and falling to the ground. "Oh... Crap!" Drew yelped as the Spirit once again focused its attention on Drew, now fully facing him.
"That little runt's gonna get himself killed." Arin sighed as he began to run into the fray. As the Spirit made its way toward Drew, he abandoned his sword on the ground, so Arin made his way over to it and picked it up. "I'm not really used to this sword of weapon, but... Now's not the time to be picky." With his free hand, Arin reached inside his pocket and pulled out his flask. He stabbed the sword into the ground to open the flask with his now free hand, and took a long swig of the alcohol inside. Tossing his flask to the side, he picked the sword up again and ran towards the elk-like Grimm. It was facing Drew so Arin was now running at it from the side. He reached its hind leg and made a casual swing to the back of its leg. It made no visible damage, but Arin effortlessly continued his rhythm and swung at its other hind leg. Again, no mark was present, but Arin kept tip-toeing to the other legs and making jabs and swings. But despite Arin's barrage of drunken attacks, the Spirit made no sign of damage. However, now it was getting annoyed and tried to swat Arin away with its leg.
Noticing the danger, Arin sluggishly rolled out from underneath it and backed up a few meters. "Damn, this thing's annoying..."
"It is because you fail to strategise properly, you fool!" Richard critiqued, now appearing beside him.
"J-Jesus!" Arin jumped out of skin in fright. "Why the hell is everyone doing that tonight?!"
"That's not important at the moment!" Richard snapped before he yanked the sword out of Arin's hand. "We must not waste our efforts in small attacks! Instead, I suggest this!" The Grimm was trying to adjust its position in order to face the Hunter who had just escaped, when suddenly Richard suddenly appeared in front of it. "Come at me, Grimm!" he cried out. The Spirit let out a chilling roar as it held its antlers down to the ground and galloped at Richard.
"Richard, what the fuck are you doing?!" Arin yelled in fear for his teammate. "Get the hell outta there! You're gonna-"
The Grimm continued to charge at Richard, but both it and Arin was surprised when Richard leaped forward at an incredible speed. Neither of them even saw Richard stepping on the Grimm's neck and landing on the Grimm's back, clutching onto Its fur as it grinded to a halt. "SEE, HEARTLY?!" Richard yelled at his personal victory. "THIS STRATEGY PUTS ME IN THE PERFECT POSITION TO STRIKE THE BACK OF ITS HEAD-" Richard's victory speech was cut off when the Xernal Spirit began shifting its weight. After a large effort, it was now standing on its hind legs, making Richard fall ungraciously off and face plant into the ground. "Ow." Richard's muffled groan was heard.
Nina, who had been observing the skirmish up until now, rushed over to Richard. She had intended to help him up and regroup, but as usual, she got distracted. "Ooh!" she chirped as she picked up Drew's sword "It's my turn to use it, right?" She eyed the Grimm, who had only now readjusted itself after its balancing act and was facing away. Now was the perfect chance to hit it! "CHAAAAARGE~!" Nina squealed as she ran up behind the Grimm, jumped high in the air and held Drew's sword in the air, ready to swing down with all her might. Unfortunately, the Spirit heard Nina's battle cry, and knew of her approach. Before Nina could react, the beast jerked its hind legs up and with a mighty force, kicked back.
The other three members of team DARN could only look in wide-eyed terror as the hoof of the massive beast's foot impacted with Nina's body and sent the girl hurtling backwards. "N... Nina!" Drew yelped in horror.
"MISS CRUSHER!" Richard panicked, still not on his feet yet.
"Oh no..." Arin muttered as despair washed over his body.
Nina's body raced back, eventually impacting with a tree with a loud 'Thwack'. Her body fell down and slumped on the ground, along with Drew's sword. "Nina! Are you okay?!" Drew screeched.
Nina's body twitched, her arms eventually crawling underneath her body to help herself up. Drew let out a sigh of relief. "Ack! Hagh!" Nina coughed, the attack winding her among other things. She activated her Aura just in time to slightly soften her crash into the tree, but the kick from the Grimm took her completely by surprise. She could feel the dull, numbing pain of her bruised abdomen and a searing, sharp spike of pain whenever she took a breath. She could only assume a few of her ribs were broken.
Though her mind was in a panicked state, she tried to take deep breathes and focus on the fight. 'Okay. Okay okay okay, don't panic! No more messing around, Nina! You're injured and have a blood thirsty Grimm trying to kill you, but just don't friggin' panic!' The Xernal Spirit had gotten back to its feet and was turning around to face Nina (despite Drew's attempts of distracting attention away from his injured teammate). 'Okayokayokay! So it's coming back to kill me! Whatever! I-I ugh... Moonmoon! I gotta protect Moonmoon! Where did I-'
And that's when it hit her.
The last place she put Moonmoon was down her hoodie for protection. And up until just now, she always felt him present inside it.
Stricken with fear, she frantically looked around for any sign of the pup. And she found him. Just a few meters away from where she landed, Moonmoon lay on his side, motionless.
The Xernal Spirit was now facing Nina. It tapped its hoof against the frosted ground and tilted its head down, preparing to charge at Nina. Drew saw what it was gonna do and called out to his friend. "N-Nina! Get out of there!" And then the Grimm galloped forward. The others could see Nina finally begin to stand again, but something was off. She calmly rose up, showing no clear worry or haste. Infact, when she did stand up, she didn't make a run to safety or anything. She just walked over to Drew's sword and picked it up, remaining eerily quiet the whole time. "C-CRUSHER! WHAT ON REMNANT ARE YOU DOING!?" Richard cried.
Drew however trembled at her actions. He recognised what was happening, and knew exactly how terrifying it was. "It... It's back!"
As the Grimm quickly closed the distance between it and the young Huntress, it could see her looking back at it with a blank expression and dark, dead eyes. She raised her free hand up at the beast and just before it impacted with the girl, she said something. A word drowned out by the sound of galloping hooves, a word barely louder than a whisper.
"Die."
In a loud boom, the top of the Grimm's head impacted with Nina's open palm, crashing it to a halt. While Nina didn't budge an inch. The three spectating members of team DARN looked in wide eyed awe. "S-She stopped it with just her hand..." Richard shivered in fear.
"Y-Yeah, we can clearly see that..." Arin responded, trying to sound sarcastic but showing his own amazement.
"It's here..." Drew grinned at the sight of (hopefully) their salvation. "Nina Ultimate Form is here!"
Arin snapped out of his amazement at the sound of Drew's naming scheme. "I'm sorry, what?!" he gave an exasperated frown.
"Nina Ultimate Form." Drew shrugged. "It's cuz it's a rage mode sort of thing."
"Yeah, I know you name things after your stupid shows, but what does 'Ultimate' have to do with it?"
"Well, I can't call her 'Nina PuToTyrano Form'. That's just too long-winded."
Arin simply blinked a few times in response. "I... can't... what?!"
While those two bickered, the Xernal Spirit recovered from ramming its head into what was essentially a brick wall. As it groaned at the pain in its head, it tried to lift its head back up. Tried, but failed. As it yanked at his own head, he felt a stinging pain on the top of it every time it pulled. It focused its blurry vision directly in front of it and saw Nina gripping the fur on top of its head, not letting it escape. Nina kept looking at it with her cold, dead eyes. For the first time that night, the Grimm panicked. It was at her mercy.
She slowly raised her other hand which held Drew's sword. The Spirit frantically tried to scrape away from her grasp, but to no avail. And when she raised her hand high enough, she swiped down in a quick and powerful strike that was almost too fast to see. Almost. For you see, the Grimm saw the twitch in Nina's arm just before she swung. Although it couldn't escape her grip, it did what it could: it swerved its head to the side. It still couldn't get away from Nina, but it did avoid receiving a fatal hit to the head.
Instead, she smashed its antler.
The Xernal Spirit let out a groan of pain as its appendage crushed under the force of Nina's attack. Black, inky bloody squirted out from the shattered stump remaining, making Nina flinch slightly. Her grip loosened, allowing the Grimm to escape and stumble backwards, still in pain from Nina's attack. Wanting to still hit the Grimm, Nina flung Drew's sword up at its other antler. However, what she didn't notice was that when she broke the first antler, Drew's cheap sword also earned a large crack along its blade. So as soon as the blade hit the other antler, it shattered into dozens of pieces.
"Dai-Dai Maru, nooo..." Drew wept at the loss of weapon.
"Nina, don't stop! Keep on attacking!" Arin ordered, not wanting to let the Grimm go back on the offensive. "Also, what did we say about the stupid names?" he scolded his partner.
As the Xernal Spirit regained balance, Nina zoomed over to its front right leg and delivered a powerful punch to the back of its knee. In another mighty screech, the beast's leg buckled underneath itself and it fell to its knees. It struggled to get back up, but Nina had an iron grip on its buckled leg, preventing any movement.
"CHAAAAARGE!" Richard yelled as he, Arin and Drew ran into the fray. Arin and Richard immediately grabbed the other front leg. Nina was using all her strength to barely keep the Grimm down, so the combined strength of Arin and Richard helped to properly secure the beast in place.
"Agh! This Grimm is indeed... quite strong!" Richard grunted as they struggled against the Grimm's resistance.
"Hey, wait a minute... Where the hell's Drew?!" Arin yelled.
"Okay, here I go!" Drew said as he skidded from the side in front of the pinned down Grimm.
"Drew! Stop fucking around and..." Arin then noticed what Drew held in his hand: the handle of his broken sword, the broken blade only a few inches long.
"It may be broken, but..." Drew the held what was left of his weapon in front of him and gripped it with both hands. "This is all that I can do!" Focusing all the strength he could muster, Drew dashed towards the restrained Grimm. "Finishing Move: Drew Strazer Part 2!" He thrust the broken blade forward, piercing through the top of the Spirit's head.
And it didn't die.
Despite having a large piece of metal lodged in the top of its head, the Grimm continued to squirm. "Well done Drew. You get a perfectly clear shot and you still manage to fuck it up." Arin deadpanned.
"It must have an incredibly thick skull!" Richard commented.
"Don't worry! I'm not done yet! Drew called out as he back stepped a few meters. He held his arms out in a (in Drew's opinion) mysterious and cool pose. "Finishing Move..." And like that, he broke into a sprint towards the Grimm. A few meters before he impacted with it however, he jumped in the air. He didn't get very high, but his forward momentum kept him launching in the Grimm's direction. He quickly outstretched his right foot in front of him. "DREW KICKU! CHRISTMAS VERSION!" he cried in triumph as his foot impacted with the handle of his sword, pushing it deeper into the beast's skull.
Drew fell back onto the ground as the Xernal Spirit let out one final, mighty roar before its head flopped onto the ground and its body went limp.
Arin and Richard kept hold of the beast's leg the whole time and continued to do so after it died. "I'm... not dreaming... right?" Arin smiled in disbelief.
"We... actually did it..." Richard muttered, sharing the same sentiment.
"MWAHAHAHAHA!" Drew laughed maniacally. "No reindeer is safe from the claws of Drew Naywing!"
"Elk." Richard corrected.
Drew continued on, ignoring his teammate. "Red-nosed reindeer? More like red-assed reindeer! Cuz we beat his ass! Oooh shit, dawg!" he complimented at his own insult.
"God damn it Dr..." Arin was about to get up and slap Drew silly, when an overwhelming tiredness overtook him. Eventually, everyone else felt the same and started to drop to the ground like flies. None of them realised that they exerted themselves far too much in that fight.
Ozpin let the scroll fall on the table as he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
They did it. They actually did it.
Team DARN took down the Xernal Spirit.
Ozpin couldn't help but laugh. He was almost certain that those four would die tonight, but they somehow defied all possibility and managed to kill a rather rare Grimm. Not exceptionally strong, but rare nonetheless. He had initially worried as none of the other teachers were on duty tonight and even if they were, DARN might not have survived until they arrived. It seems that team DARN lived to defy expectation.
Ozpin stood up and made his way to the door. There were still four unconscious students in the middle of the Emerald Forest, and they weren't going to get themselves out. But as Ozpin reached the door, he turned back to his desk and the scroll that lay on it. 'Perhaps I should... No. It's too much hassle. But then again, they did work hard tonight...' Ozpin walked back to his desk and picked his scroll back up. Searching through his contacts, he made a call.
"Umm, professor Ozpin? ...Good evening..." the digitized voiced crackled through the scroll.
"Good evening, miss Goodwitch. I hope I'm not interrupting your Christmas." Ozpin greeted his colleague.
"I'm spending it alone, same as last year, sir. Thanks for reminding me..." Goodwitch replied in a sarcastic voice.
"Well, if you aren't too busy, I have a favour to ask you."
"What is it?"
"I'd like you to go into town and... pick up a few things."
Drew's eyes stung as he stirred awake. The blinding light of the morning sun made him groggily raise his hand to block the rays. "What happened?" The memories of last night slowly started to resurface. The tree, the Grimm, the finishing moves. The last thing he remembered was everyone passing out and... "Oh God! We're still in the forest!" Drew yelled in fear. He was wrong. As his vision came into focus, he didn't see the dense, green forest, but a stone walkway lined with pillars on the side. "Oh... It's Beacon's courtyard."
"Oww..." Drew heard Arin groan as he began to awake. Drew just noticed that he woke up in a sitting position. He turned around to see the rest of his teammates lying against a pillar-like structure in the center. They were also beginning to awaken as-
"Oh my gosh! Forget the long winded descriptions, look at that!" Drew gasped in joy as he recognised the structure they were lying on. The four members of team DARN were lying against the tree Drew cut down yesterday. Some of the branches were flattened from falling over, and it was cut down to just a few meters high, but it was definitely Drew's tree. "Hell yes! Drew takes home his prize!"
"Shut up..." Arin rubbed his forehead in pain. He was about to give some snarky comment to Drew, but was distracted by a parcel wrapped in black paper laying on his lap. "What the heck's this?"
Drew also noticed a long, brown box on his lap. "Hey, I have one too."
"Moonmoon!" They all heard Nina cry out in joy. They all turned to her to see the body of Moonmoon laying on her lap. But more importantly, they could see his chest gently rising and falling. He was breathing. He was alive. Taking caution not to wake him up, Nina carefully picked Moonmoon up and brought him into a loving embrace. "Thank goodness..." she sobbed.
"Aww..." Drew smiled at the heartwarming scene.
"I also have one, in case you were wondering..." Richard muttered, lifting up his own white wrapped parcel.
"So, what? Did we all get presents?" Arin asked.
"Seems to be the case." Richard agreed.
"Well, let's open them up!" Drew exclaimed as he ripped off the wrapping excitedly.
Arin and Richard followed his example and began unwrapping their presents. Arin opened his parcel to find a can of beer inside with a small note. " 'This is for your hard work last night. I know it's tough, but keep it up.' " he recited. He looked back to the can in his other hand. "I do appreciate this, but is being drunk really all that I'm identified as?" he asked himself in concern.
Richard opened his own present to find a jar of wax with a similar note inside. " 'This is for waxing your balls' ..." Richard read in confusion.
"Read that note out of context, see what happens." Arin giggled childishly to himself. "Actually, in context it's still pretty stupid."
Lastly, Drew open up the narrow box to find a small sheathed sword inside. Like the others, there was a note inside it. " 'This is a replacement for the one last night. Use it well.' " He partially pulled out the blade from its scabbard. "I think I'll call this one... 'Musou Saber'."
"What did we say about the stupid names?" Arin groaned.
"We were brought to the school and we all received some sort of gift. Who could have done all this?" Nina pondered.
"It must have been Santa Clause!" Drew answered.
Arin facepalmed. "It was clearly Ozpin-"
"Santa Clause!" Drew glared angrily.
"Whatever, I'm not in the mood to argue."
"Well team, I think that was quite the successful mission!" Drew stood up and proudly placed his hands on his hips.
"We almost died last night." Arin commented.
"Quite the successful mission!" Drew repeated, choosing to ignore Arin's commentary.
Suddenly, Richard's eyes widened in realisation. "Oh! He was talking about my basketballs! Thank goodness..."
AN: Merry Christmas everyone! And if you don't celebrate Christmas, well happy whatever holiday you celebrate! Or, if you aren't religious, just happy holidays in general! You know what? Forget the holidays thing, you guys deserve to be happy every day! You deserve it!
So, yeah. Next time if team DARN we'll get back on track with Richard's story. See yous soon, and please leave a review if you got the time. Thank you all for reading!
