"Everyone, this is Dean. He is new so please be nice to him." The young teacher smiled at the twenty or so five-year-olds clustered on chairs.

"Now it's playtime so why don't you get to know everyone, Dean?"

The class ran for the door and the great, unexplored outside while Dean followed much slower.

He wouldn't bother getting to know them. This was his fifth preschool and he was only five. The demon that had killed his mother had vanished just under a year ago.

As he walked slowly outside a small dark-haired boy bounced up to him.

"You're Dean, aren't you?" he said, his speech was slightly strange, carefully picked and pronounced.

"Yes."

"You're my new be- friend." the boy grinned.

Dean smiled, he was actually quite nice.

"What's your name?"

"C- Cath- Cathiel." stammered the small boy.

"Cathiel?"

"No Cathiel without the 'th' and with 'a':" he drew an 'S' shape in the air.

"Ca... Castiel?"

"Yeah!"

"How come you're not friends with the others?" All the other children were playing on the big wooden structure in one corner of the playground or in the sandpit.

"They make fun of me and I can't pronounce their nameth."

"What do you mean?"

"I have a lithp. And there's a Melitha, Tham, Tharah, Thue, Thophie, Rothie, Thadie, Thal..."

"Is there anyone who doesn't have an 'S' in their name?"

"There ith you and Naomi... But I don't really like her..."

"I'll be your best friend, Cas."

"Really?"

"Really."

Sup, kids, last one today. This was born from a headcanon on another ship but it works here.

I accidently read too many creepy stories again and I keep hearing things. Oops.

Have a nice night/day.

Fez.
