TCP: The After Story ch 3

Honestly, she was starting to get antsy. Tsukasa was never the type to sit around; all of her brothers could attest to that fact. Ryuji shot her a glance and she could practically see him smirking at her. "Stop looking at me like that!" she hissed under her breath.

He let out a small chuckle, deciding on playing dumb. "What look? My face is always like this." True to his word, he wore a blank expression which irked her to no end.

"You know what I'm talking about, Baka Ryuji." This time, he smiled, and it calmed her deep in her heart. Only she had ever been able to bring his smile to life like this, especially in a situation such as this. He caught her hand, his long fingers sliding along hers. A soft sigh left her lips as he stared intently at her hand just as the door opened.

"I'm sorry to k-," baldy stopped, his eyes zeroing in on their intertwined fingers. First, he became red, then paler than when he had first entered the room. "S-Sorry to interrupt!" He slammed the door back and for a minute everything was silent before Tsukasa glanced back at Ryuji. He had tried to keep a stoic appearance, but his lip was trembling and his eyes betrayed just how humorous he found the man's reaction to be.

Blood rushed into her cheeks as she glared at him. "It's not funny! He got the wrong idea!" She wanted to chase after the gangster, to make him realize or at least forget what he had seen.

Ryuji knew what she was thinking and merely shook his head. "Calm down, Tsukasa." He was calm, but it was still unmistakably an order. She let out a sound of frustration before settling down just as the door opened once more.

Instead of the bald-headed man, in the doorway now stood a gentleman that couldn't be more than thirty years old. He wore a simple black suit with a red tie, and for a minute Tsukasa was reminded of the devil himself. Sharp eyes, black as night, matches his hair and caught hers. She shivered involuntarily from fear when she saw how empty they were. Still, there was no reaction from Ryuji. His face was like a brick wall, unreadable. Did he know this man?

He walked closer and it was only then that she noticed the red ring on his hand in the shape of a tiger. "It's nice to meet you. Ryuji, I presume."

Ryuki stood himself, and she beside of him as he reached out a hand towards their newest rival. "Yes, though I don't have the pleasure of knowing your name.

The man threw back his head, a loud booming laugh escaping his chest. "How rude of me not to introduce myself first." He gave a small bow, his eyes sparkling maliciously as he stared at Ryuji. "My name is Panyun, and I've come to take everything you love away from you."
