Chapter 2 for all of you.

Elsa the beautiful reserved Queen of Arendelle sits at her desk in her study as she signs, and marks various documents. She lets out a long sigh as she stretches out a bit, and then rests her hands on the arms rests, and leans her head back against the chair's headrest as she shut her eyes, "Elsa please let me in...Elsa! Elsa!" Anna's voice rang in her head.

"You must learn to conceal your powers...Elsa! This is getting out of hand." Her father's voice echoed. Elsa's fingers began to twitch a bit.

"Anna go away. Leave me alone I won't be able to hurt anyone this way...Anna! No!" Her own voice yelled at her.

The door to the study suddenly bursts open an Princess Anna burst in. The noise startles Elsa who's eyes quickly open and out of reflex creates a cluster of ice spikes that shoot towards the door that almost hit Anna who stumbles back a bit. One of the spikes stops at the tip of Anna's Elsa sees it's her sister, and right away retracts the ice as panic starts to set in.

"A-Anna, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to...did I hurt you?"

"I'm fine," Anna re-assured her, "But are you okay?"

"Uh...yeah, I'm fine. What do you need?"

"I just wanted to know if you wanted to have lunch with me Kristoff and me?"

"I'm really busy Anna. Maybe another time."

"Okay." Anna gloomily responds, "Guess I won't bother you. I'll see you later then."

"I'm sorry Anna. I promise I'll try and free a whole afternoon and we can do whatever you want."

"You promise?" Replies as big smile takes over her face, and her eyes light up with excitement.

"I promise."

"I'm keeping you to it." Anna quickly leaves the study and closes the door behind her.

"Hopefully I'll be able to keep this on." Elsa again rests her head against the headrest and shuts her eyes. Hours later the study has been completely frozen over. Snowflakes hover in the air as if frozen in time, and multiple ice spikes are impaled into the walls.

The image of Elsa striking Anna in the chest at her ice palace flashes through Elsa's mind, "Anna!" Elsa quickly jerks awake, and looks around in horror. She slowly gets out of her chair, and cautiously walks towards the door. She passes her fingers over the jagged edges of the ice spikes "What happened? What did I do?" Her hand trembles as she reaches for the frozen doorknob. The frozen door to the study starts to open. The thin layer of ice on the doorframe cracks, and breaks off, as Elsa steps into the hallway.

The hallway is covered with a thick layer of ice, ice spikes are impaled into the walls, and ceiling. Multiple windows are shattered and glass litters the floor while the cold winter air howls outside. Elsa slowly makes through the hallway as she maneuvers her way around the ice spikes.
"Anna!...Anna!...Anna where are you?!" Elsa approaches one of the shattered windows and sees all of Arendelle completely frozen once again.
"Not again." A sudden thud from the hall catches her attention. Believing it may be Anna she makes her down the frozen hallway.

Elsa reaches the doors that lead into the throne room, "Please be okay Anna." As she reaches for the door handle the ice spikes start to crack and chip as they begin to give off a sickly yellow glow. Elsa turns the handle, but the door won't budge. She tries to force it open, but still nothing. She decides to throw all her weight at the door, which finally budges and wings open. The think layer ice above the door breaks, and falls to the ground. Elsa covers her head as the ice falls around her. She looks towards the the throne, and sees Anna's limp body on the throne.

Elsa runs to her sister, "Anna!" She rushes up the steps to the throne almost losing her footing, and quickly grabs Anna off the throne, and cradles her in her arms like she did when they were little. Anna doesn't respond. Elsa gently puts her hand on her sister's cheek. "Anna wake up please! Wake up!"

Elsa shakes Anna's body, but her sister doesn't move. Tears start to run down her cheeks without cease as she holds her sister tightly. When she pulls away she gently caresses her sister's cheek that have started turning a light shade of blue. "Please Anna open your eyes! Please Anna!"

The area around Elsa, and Anna begins to freeze over with a thicker layer of ice. As a blizzard begins to violently swirl around the two sisters. The ice starts to crack, and glow blood red. The ice shatters to pieces sending shards flying in every direction. The stain glass windows burts as the powerful gusts break free, "ANNA!"

Elsa suddenly sits up in a cold sweat and notices she's in her bed. She looks around her pitch black room with the only light coming from a moonlight creeping through the glass doors that lead to her balcony. Large chunks of ice cover parts of her bed posts along with the corners of the room, and around the door and window frames. She shakily wipes a few tears from her cheeks as her body won't stop trembling.

"It...it was just a dream," She quietly tells herself, "Anna is fine, Arendelle is fine."

Two loud knocks take her out of her trance, and looks towards the door, "Your Majesty is everything okay?" Elsa looks down at her shaky hands. She takes a couple deep breathes as she tries to regain control.

"I'm...I'm fine." Elsa replies.

"We heard screaming. Are you sure you're okay ma'am?"

"Yes, it was just a nightmare. You can go."

"Yes, your majesty." Elsa can hear the footsteps getting farther and farther away. Elsa gets out of bed and goes over to her vanity desk, and takes a seat. She takes a couple long, deep breaths through her nose. She puts her arms around her belly, but her body doesn't stop trembling. She continues to take deeper and longer breathes until the ice finally begins to recede until it completely disappears, "Just a nightmare. Nothing more."

Another couple knocks snap her out of her own thoughts again, "Elsa? You okay?" Anna asks with very worried voice.

"I'm fine Anna."

"Can I come in?"

"Ye-yeah come in."

Anna in her dark green nightgown steps into the room, and goes over to Elsa. She gently puts her hand on her sister's shoulder.
Elsa looks up at her.

"I heard you scream my name. You sure you're okay?"

"It was just a nightmare."

"Something happened to me, didn't it?" Anna tightly hugs Elsa. Meanwhile Elsa puts her hands on her sister's arms.

"I can't lose you again."

"It was just a dream. There's nothing worry about."

"It just felt so real."

Anna smiles and jokingly says, "If your eternal winter couldn't separate us then nothing can." Elsa finally lets out a small smile, "C'mon lets get you to bed. I'm sure you have tons to do tomorrow. Anna walks Elsa back to her bed. Elsa lies back down as Anna takes a seat on the edge of the bed. "Just try and get some sleep okay."

"Don't know if I'll be able to."

"If you want I can stay here. Kinda how you did when we were little."

Elsa smiles and nods, "I would like that." Anna lies down next to her sister and holds her tightly until Elsa finally manages to to fall asleep.
