As if straight out of a fairy tale, he released his boa down into her grasp, allowing her to climb up and out of the well. She jumped straight into his arms, holding him tightly to her.
"I'm so glad to see you, Sesshomaru! I've missed you!" She said, taking his scent of rain water and wind and emitting it to memory. He did the same to her, his clawed hand cradling the back of her head.
"You escaped me," he said, pulling her away so he could examine her. "You fared well?"
"Barely," she scoffed, sighing. "You weren't there."
