Chapter 33

"So what are you gonna do huh?" Falco looked over at his friend. "Well look guys would ya stop asking me about all this? I don't like her or anyone right now. Come on I've pretty much started high school over a month ago when I lost my memory. I've just barely been able to slide by on grades and luckily it's as if I didn't forget anything about piloting." Fox's friends just laughed, they liked picking on him about this memory loss.

"No no, I meant with your woman. Or used to be woman, she sure hasn't been happy about anything." Fox groaned and rolled his eyes. "Dude, that's in the past. I felt that way a few months ago but I just don't feel that way any more. I'm sorry that I hurt her and all but I just don't like it any more."

Falco looked aside to Slippy. "Well we tried, we'll have to break it to her that this month has pretty much been wasted. Oh well." He sighed and looked over at his furry friend and nodded. Fox just sighed to himself. "Why've you guys been asking about this so much lately guys?" his friends just looked among each other.

"Just wondered if this was the end for you guys." Bill blurted out. Fox left the room, a little annoyed. "Not the best probably but it worked." Slippy told the dog. He just shrugged his shoulders.

Fox walked outside onto his porch and sat on the porch swing. "This feels…..weird." He said to himself as he sat down.

'Am I gonna be stuck with this stuff for the rest of my life? I mean come on, it's not a big deal, is it?' He thought to himself as he began pondering these events. He took a walk down his street and ran into you know who as she was coming out of her house.

"Hey Krystal, where are you going?"

"Oh, hi Fox! Seems like it's been a while since we talked. I'm actually going out on a date tonight." Fox's eyes grew really big when she said the word date.

"A DATE!? I didn't know you went on dates, I mean after we all and uhhhhhh… I'm just gonna be quiet right now." She laughed at him a little as he laughed a little. "Uhhhh…. This is awkward but who are you going with." He cringed a little bit when she told him, from what he heard from the guys it wasn't good.

"Me and Panther are going out to see a movie then going to eat dinner afterwards." He paused for a second. "That's pretty cool, I hope you guys have a lot of fun." He smiled at her and told her he had to go. She turned around to walk inside for a moment and when she did he took off running.

He scrambled through his house.

"GUYS GUYS GUYS! LISTEN TO ME!" They all fell out of their chairs when he started yelling. His parents ran up to the living room and asked what the yelling was about. "KRYSTAL IS GOING ON A DATE WITH PANTHER! I'M NOT JOKING!" They all were just sitting there in silence. "What?"

James looked over at them and nodded to them all. "Why does this concern you so much?" "Well because the guys have said he's a terrible person and in the wrong crowd and I don't want Krystal dating him or anything." James raised an eyebrow underneath his sunglasses, impressed at his son. "Well then I guess you'll have to figure it all out." Fox was baffled as his parents walked away. "Wait, figure what out?"

But it was too late, he was gone. He looked at his friends. "I've just never seen her so happy, it's just weird when I looked at her, felt weird." They all just shook their heads and began watching TV.

Later that night Fox decided to go outside and sit on his porch swing again. 'Why does this feel so weird sitting down on here?' He asked himself. He went for another walk. 'I've gotta find this stuff out, everything today has just felt so weird, swing and walking.'

Again he walked to Krystal's house and stopped right there. 'Why am I here? Again?' He looked right over to her room and saw her sitting on her bed in her PJ's. She looked up and saw him there, then waved. He weakly waved back as she got up and left her room.

'What the crap is going on?'

Just a second later she came out the door and walked up to him. "Hi Fox! Is there something that you need? You know, since you're at my house at 9:13 at night" They both laughed a little.

"Uhhhh nothing really, just walked around and stopped here. How'd the date go?" Krystal breathed out with a big smile. "Oh it was so good! We went to my favorite new movie and then we went to my favorite place to eat and we had such good conversations and everything was so perfect." His smile drooped a little bit but his eyes still had vigor.

"That's really cool. Well you looked busy so I'll go back to my house since it's 9:13 at night." They both laughed and waved goodbye.

'What's going on? Why do I feel so attached and protective now that there's another guy? I don't feel anything for her. It's just been a bad day, that's all.'

For the big followers out there here's some insight, originally I was gonna have a few months pass and the guys and girls didn't talk any more at all. Krystal showed up every once in a while but Fox brushed her off. They were all single and sort of crumbled, aren't you glad I didn't stick with that?
