**NAVSO311: Something very interesting is going to happen to Zatanna, due to the book's explosion. Keep in mind that it will NOT happen to Wally. Just Zatanna.

As for the next baby born in this story, it's actually going to come from one of the kids. Spoilers for who it is will not be mentioned until you read them say the words "I'm pregnant." or you read them having a positive pregnancy test.

Though I do have an OC I'll introduce later on in the story, around the time Irey & Melissa are 15-16. Right now they're around 10, so that should give you an estimate on when they will show up in this story.

I can't wait till I get to that part of this story. I like to call them... Artemis 2.0

Oh! And who I plan to have be their Wally is just perfect. I can't wait for them to meet each other. *insert happy sigh*

I also plan on bringing Damian Wayne into this story, but I'm not entirely sure who will be brought in first. There won't be a big gap between introducing them either way.

Damian, spoilers, gets two chances at love. The first will (hopefully) have everyone going "Awe" and "How sweet" and "I so called it!"

The other, who he marries and starts a family with, will cause me to get backlash from the deepest, darkest pits of Hell.

Bring. It. On.

As for Team Member babies, there's going to be... Five, possibly six, more.

Keep in mind that this number is counting Janelle and her stillborn baby brother, Charlie. And number 5 isn't even going to be mentioned until the very last chapter- and even then they won't be born- while number 6 will only exist IF I do decide to write a sequel.

The rest of the babies born in this story will be the grandchildren & great grandchildren of the Team and League members.

As I mentioned in my last chapters author's note, I have the final chapter completed. It's written in a way that leaves the readers guessing & imagining how things turned out if I don't write a sequel, and plenty of plot ideas for if I do.

As for updating, my goal is to update this story at least once a month.

Updates might be more frequent then that on occasion, but for the most part expect my updates to (HOPEFULLY, knock on wood) come every 3-5 weeks on average.

Unless I happen to state otherwise in an author's note.

**KSA: Oh yeah no. Zatanna isn't going to die. Ever.

**Black' Victor Cachat: I have always planned for Abbie to be a very gifted indiviual when it comes to her mental strength and capabilities.

(Just as I have always had plans for Lisa when it comes to her physical strength, but Lisa is a completely different topic.)

That includes both Abbie's IQ and the Martian capabilities she inherited from M'gann. She is a very smart young lady- far smarter then Conner was ever portrayed in season one.

Hell, Abbie puts Conner's IQ in the single digit range. That, to me, would be the easiest way to describe her character academically.

As for her skill level for her telepathic powers, she puts M'gann on J'onn's level. Though I will be going more in depth with that when she's a few years older, around age 13-15.

Especially if I ever decide to put Psimon in the story. But don't hold your breath when it comes to that.

I've always had such... interesting plans for Abbie's future. Especially when it comes to her romantic relationship with Amsistad and her family relationship with her sisters.

(And can we just discuss the fact that this is the first time in like 9 chapters where you didn't have to PM me your review for the newest chapter?

I was actually relieved when I finally saw your review in my emails. Usually the first email I get after posting a new chapter is the PM from you XD)

It took another two weeks before Zatanna finally woke up from her coma.

And when she did, she was nearly suffocated by the cluster of limbs belonging to her children, as they all wrapped their arms around her at once, crying and yelling and sobbing with relief in unison.

For three weeks and three days, Johnny and his sisters thought they lost their mother like they had lost their Dad.

They're were thankful that they had been wrong.

"Okay you three. Let me breathe." Zatanna cooed.

They pulled away from their mother, but all three stayed seated on her hospital bed.

"How long have I been out?" She asked, stretching her arm to scratch the back of her neck.

"Twenty four days." Johnny mumbled.

"And your Uncle Wally...?"

"He was out for a week. League said he was all clear to go home three days later." Mary told her.

"Alrighty. All three of you, off the bed. Jonathan, Giovanna. You two help me get up. Mary, get the door. Our plan is to get me through the Zeta Tubes and back home, without us being caught by another League member. Think we can try to reach this goal?" Zatanna asked.

"Got it."

They managed to get to the location of the Watch Tower's Zeta Tubes, but not actually go through them, when they were caught by Bruce.

"Zatanna..."

"Oh, son a bitch." She cursed under her breath.

"What are you doing?"

"Going home." She stated.

"No. There are medical tests that still need to be run." He sighed.

"Well then, you should've ran them during the three weeks I was out. I'm going home. I have been here long enough. My children have been here long enough. And they've been without me for long enough. I'm going home, my babies are coming with me, and we are going to be having a greasy dinner. You and Alfred are more then welcome to join." She said sternly.

Bruce sighed. Zatanna was nothing less then stubborn. No wonder Dick had loved her so much...

"Alright. But I want you back here for those tests by the end of the week." He told her.

"Yeah, yeah Bruce." She scoffed, as they family of four departed through the Zeta Tubes.

Despite Zatanna saying dinner that night would be greasy, both of her daughters expressed their desire for a salad to go with it.

Salads? Really? What ten year olds willingly eat salad?

At least the salad Gia and Mary requested was a fruit salad.

Deciding not waste time question her fraternal twin daughters dietary habits, Zatanna put the fruits they had in their fridge onto the counter, grabbed a knife and cutting board, and began to cut the fruit.

The cantaloupe cut with ease, same with the bananas. But as she was cutting the strawberries, Zatanna cut her finger, slicing a thin one inch cut across her index finger.

"Ow, fuck!" She groaned, keeping quiet in an attempt to not startle her kids, who were all watching tv in the living room.

Clutching her finger, she walked over to the sink to wash her hands off. But before she could, she glanced at her finger to see the damage and gasped.

The cut was gone.

"What the hell?" She mumbled. She knew she cut herself. She felt the sting, and saw the cut. It was there. It had been real.

Zatanna stood at the sink, staring at her no longer injured finger. Then an idea popped into her head. Walking over to the knife block, she grabbed a clean knife. Glancing at the doorway, Zatanna made sure none of her kids were in sight before she glanced down at the palm of her hand, and watched as she sliced the blade across her palm, breaking her skin.

But before any blood could spill out, the cut disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

"Oh... my... God..." she gasped.

Maybe she should stayed for those tests...

Despite wanting to go back to Lawrence and Paula's apartment, where she had been before her Dad's accident, Melissa had been on perfect behavior.

For her, anyway.

Despite feeling more at home with her maternal grandparents, it was best that she stay at home with her parents and siblings.

At least until Artemis was one thousand percent sure that Wally was fine.

"Art- Artem- Artemis! I can take care of myself." Wally cried, wrapping his arms around her.

He had been halfway through with making him an everything but the kitchen sink sundae, when Artemis had shoved him out of the way to make it for him herself.

"Babe, this isn't like when I came out of the speed force. I'm not going to vanish into thin air again." He whispered in her ear, kissing her on the cheek.

"I just worry about you, that's all. I have lost you enough in the past as it is." She mumbled, frowning.

"Hey, I'll be fine." He cackled.

Before another word could be said from either of them, Jai ran into the kitchen, slid on the rug and crashed into the fridge, his legs splayed against the fridge and his back on the kitchen floor.

"Besides... I'm not the speedster you need to worry about." Wally mumbled, as Artemis shook her head with a sigh.

Irey walked into the kitchen and smirked at her older brother, before turning to her parents.

"That's your first born, right there. Doesn't that make y'all feel proud?" She grinned.

"Iris."

As soon as Lian got home from school, she kicked off her shoes and stormed upstairs to her room.

When she got to her bedroom, she slammed the door shut and locked it, chucked her bookbag on to the floor in the far corner and collapsed face down on her bed.

And then she started crying into her pillow.

And that's how Roy found her an hour later.

"Lian? Sweetie? What's wrong?" Roy asked, concerned.

"Go away Dad." She groaned.

"No. Not until you tell me what's wrong." He sighed, sitting on the edge of her bed.

Snarling, Lian hopped out of bed, grabbed her phone off her desk and high tailed it to the Zeta Tube in the hall closet next to her parents bedroom.

"Lian Alice!" Roy cried.

"Recognized Speedy C01."

"Damnit." Roy cursed.

"Red? Where's she going?" Jade asked, standing in the hallway next to Lian's room.

"I don't know. I found her on her bed crying. When I asked her what was wrong, she got up and stormed off to the Zeta Tube." Roy sighed.

"I'm going to make a few calls..." Jade sighed.

"Recognized Green Arrow B07."

Within ten minutes of Lian arriving at the Cave, her maternal aunt and Godmother arrived as well.

Artemis walked straight from the Zeta Tubes to Lian's room. She didn't say a word to Jaiyden, Lisa, or Mark- all three of whom were wondering what the hell was wrong with Lian.

Instead, she pushed them out of her way as she forced Lian's door open, locking it behind her once it closed.

Lian sat on the queen sized bed that each bedroom in the cave had. Her legs were folded up by her chest, her arms wrapped around her shins as her chin rested on her knees.

At least she had stopped crying.

"Lian. Honey. What's wrong?" Artemis cooed.

"Nothing."

"Bullshit sweetie. Don't lie to me."

"I don't want to talk about it." Lian snarled.

"Tough. Because it's going to happen. And you can either talk to me, or you can talk to your parents. The choices is up to you." Artemis said sternly, earning a huff from Lian.

"Did something happen between you and Mark?"

"I didn't do anything!" Mark screamed from the other side of the door.

"Marcus! Jaiyden! Lisa Marie! Go somewhere else! Now!" Artemis snapped.

Artemis and Lian's conversation only comtinued after they heard the sounds of three sets of feet scramble away in fear.

"Nothing happened between me and Mark." Lian sighed, biting her bare knee.

"Well then what happened?" Artemis cooed, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Lian was silent for several minutes before she finally answered.

"I got called an anchor baby today at school." Lian grumbled.

Oh.

No wonder Lian was upset.

Anchor baby was a derogatory term used when referring to the children of illegal immigrants.

While Artemis and Jade- along with their children- had been born in the United States, Paula had not.

Their mother had been born in Vietnam.

While her and Lawrence's grandchildren had no reason to be called Anchor Babies, their daughters hadn't been so lucky.

Anchor Baby.

Fresh off the boat.

Rice ball.

Chink.

Artemis and Jade had heard it all during school growing up.

Because of it, not every scar that littered Artemis' skin from her childhood had been because of her dad.

Artemis remembered the first racial slur she had heard directed towards her family. She was three and Jade was seven, and a stranger in the grocery store called Paula a mail order bride infront of them.

Lawrence had broke his arm.

"What? Who called you that? Why?!" Artemis asked angrily.

"Some random asshole in the grade above me. I don't know his name. Asked me if I knew what an anchor baby was." She sighed.

"Lian, baby. Don't listen to what that douchebag says. And if he ever says it again, find out his name, so and your mom can find out where he lives and kick his ass." Artemis said, holding Lian's hand.

"Okay Aunt Artemis."

"Wally. I need to talk to you." Zatanna sighed, walking up to the speedster.

Wally was surprised when his late best friends fiancé had showed up at his civilian job.

Especially when Artemis wasn't within a five foot range of her.

"Uh, Zee? What are you doing here?" Wally asked.

He had seen enough pornos while he was a teenager to know that this might not end well.

"Didn't you hear me? I said we have to talk." Zatanna huffed.

"About...?"

"The incident."

Oh great. Just great.

"Okay. What about it?" Wally asked, giving the sorceress his full attention.

"Have you noticed anything... weird... about you since you woke up from your coma?" She asked softly.

"Hmm. No. Not really. I mean, I'm a little faster then I was before. But other then that there's nothing odd about me. Not that I've noticed anyway. Why?" He asked.

Zatanna sighed, but said nothing as she used on of her hands to hold Wally's wrist down.

"Nommus a efink." She mumbled.

Before Wally could react, a blade had appeared in Zatanna's free hand, and she had sliced open the skin on the back of his hand.

The cut hadn't been large or very deep, but it had been deep enough to draw blood.

Wally hissed in pain as Zatanna held his hand down, her eyes on the cut she had caused.

Watching.

Waiting.

But nothing happened.

The cut still remained.

Zatanna frowned as Wally forcefully pulled his hand out her grasp, examining the cut she gave him.

It felt worst then it looked.

"The fuck was that for?" He cried.

"How come it didn't happen to you too?" She frowned.

"What the hell are you talking about Zee?" Wally groaned.

Zatanna didn't say a word as she used the knife she had cut his hand with to slice a deep gash into the inside of her forearm.

Before Wally could stop the bleeding- or before any blood could spill out- the cut disappeared.

"Oh holy shit."

"What did that book do to me?" Zatanna sighed.
