Chapter 3 - Tournament
The day of the long awaited bell tournament had arrived. This was good for Tygra, but for Lion, it brought bad memories. His daughter Leonia knew this, and so she decided to do something.
Leonia: I'm going to participate ^ - ^
Willikat: I'll know too ...
Willykat and Willykit had grown and matured quite a lot in recent years, both at the age of 27. Willykat had become the lieutenant of the royal guard, while Willykit did two things: she was a warrior and played in various places for Thunderian entertainment.
LeƓnia: Why do you want to participate, Mr. Willykat?
Willykat: Because I think I want to stretch my legs and bones. These times of peace will kill me if I stand still.
Willykit: You'll only compete because your uncle will. I feel it.
Lion-o: Take care of him, daughter. He ... may be more experienced than you and ...
Leonia: Shiiuu daddy. I know that, but I want to get there positively.
Leona: Good luck, daughter.
Leonia: Thank you, Mother.
One hour later...
Willykat had lost to Leonia, who had finally managed to ring the bell, but now, she was on Tygra's side.
Tygra: I see you're going to lose. Just like his father when we were just two princes hahahahaha
However, unlike the Lion-o (reference of the first episode of Thundercats of the bell contest), she was not with any hatred. He just looked at his uncle as if he were just a flat fly.
And the trumpets sounded to the beginning. Leonia was climbing as fast as she could, and when she felt she was going to be attacked by her uncle, she jumped, almost causing him to fall into the water, were it not for his blaster, which made him hold onto something and move forward in front of her.
Tygra: You look just like your father.
At that moment, Leonia felt her anger rise in her head, but she concentrated enough not to let it hinder her concentration on the goal. She could not lose, had to leave an image of that the princess was not equal its father in the question of the competition of the bell. She had to be known as "the princess who avenged her father's defeats".
She'd soon remembered what people were saying to her before she went to Tygra in that competition:
"Guard1: Are you crazy, your highness? Your uncle can tear you up !"
"Cooker: I do not even want to see what it's going to do."
"Lion-o: Take care of him, daughter. He ... may be more experienced than you and ..."
But there were those who encouraged her in some way:
"Willykat: You're going to beat him. You just believe in yourself that it's going to be all right."
"Leona: I know you can do it, daughter ! Good luck."
"Cleric3: With the patience and ability a feline possesses, you will be able to win that competition with 100% certainty."
No, she will not let her uncle beat her like that. Not after humiliating her father when she had not even been born yet, since her father and her uncle were just puppies.
The bell was almost close to her, it was possible she could see with her eyes the bell growing closer to her, but Tygra was still in front of her and she needed some way to knock him down, and she already knew how.
She quickly used her teleporting ability to get behind her uncle, who was in front of her, and with all her might, she punched his face so hard that it knocked him into the water and with a single leap, she went up to the bell and touched him, announcing his victory against his own uncle. She finally managed to avenge the defeats that her father had suffered in that arena.
Leona: * while ringing the bell without stopping * Do you still think that I am the same as my father after suffering this humiliating defeat, Uncle?
Tygra dared not say anything more after that.
Five minutes later she had been in front of all her friends and her parents.
Lion-o: But ... how did you defeat him?
Leonia: With great motivation, good calm and feline abilities, you can easily win a competition like this and if possible, smarter for possible attacks from your opponent.
When out of nowhere, Tygra was in front of them.
Tygra: Lion-o, I ... I wanted to apologize for everything I'd done to you. Daddy was always right to put you on the throne. I think he would be proud of you, while I, I only thought of myself. Not in the consequences that this rivalry could cause for both of us.
Lion-o: Well, I'll think about your case, but in the meantime, I ask you to stay away from us all, because I want to have a talk with my daughter.
He just did what his brother had ordered and left that enclosure.
Lion-o: I want you to know, Leonia, regardless of whether you win or lose, I'm very proud of you, of everything you do, because I know you have a good heart, a heart of gold.
Leonia did not say much. She just hugged her father and let some tears fall, but they were not tears of sadness, loneliness, bitterness, but they were tears of happiness, of feeling complete after her father told her that. And to finish, she said something to her father.
Leonia: * who was hugged with Lion-o * Dad, I want to stay forever by your side, because I do not want any other daddy. I always want you, because I love you dad ... I love you very much, just as I love Mom.
Lion-o did not say anything, just let a smile emerge. A smile of being finally feeling complete, with a family he has always dreamed of.
