A year and a half later...

Logan sat on her balcony drinking a cup of coffee when there was a knock on her door. She stood, still in her sweats, and walked to the door, opening it without asking any questions.

When she opened it, her heart stopped as she saw Phil Coulson standing on the other side. "How are you here?" she gasped, "Am I dead or going insane?" she followed up her initial question.

Coulson smiled at her, warm and welcoming, "I wish I had a real answer but, somehow, I was taken to Tahiti after what happened and brought back."

Logan nodded, gesturing for him to enter her home, "What can I do for you, sir? If this is about my actions from that time, I will take whatever anger you have to throw at me," she replied, moving into the kitchen to pour him a cup of coffee before she guided him to the balcony where he sat and joined her.

He shook his head, once they were settled, "No Logan, this isn't about that. I know you weren't acting in treason, but Fury was under a lot of pressure," he changed the subject to his true motivations for his visit. "I'm putting together a team," he began, "We are going to find the inhumans and bring them in. I heard that you have skills, which you've always withheld, making you an asset to my team on top of how much I already know you'd bring," he finished, taking a sip of his coffee.

Logan choked on her coffee, spitting some out, "No one knows about my…" she paused to look for the right word, deciding, "gifts. But, I'm on desk duty so you're out of luck. I wish I could come."

Coulson shook his head, suppressing his laughter at her reaction, "You'd be surprised what information I have access to and you are no longer on desk work per my command. So, what can you do and would you like to join me? I promise we'll have fun."

Logan couldn't believe what was happening between Coulson being alive and an offer to get off her ass and back in the field. She thought it over, realizing after her time with Loki this may be her last offer. "Ok boss, I will go with you because I can't sit at a desk for another minute. I have to work out triple what I used to just to stop gaining weight," she agreed. Then lowered her voice, "And as for my skill, I can control the weather and summon large rocks from elements around me to use as weapons," she shared.

He nodded, "Your powers are more then I could have hoped for. I'm so glad to see you again," he added as he stood, Logan joining him. Coulson moved toward her and pulled her into an affection embrace, "Meet me at this location," he slipped her his business card, "tomorrow by noon. I'm happy to have you back. Welcome to the team," he offered as she nodded gratefully before he left her apartment, leaving her to try and absorb what had just occurred, all before 9 am.

Logan joined Coulson's team and spent her first few weeks on missions that were challenging but what she expected.

"We need to change course for London," Coulson announced as the team sat in the main common room aboard his souped up plane.

No one made much notice to his announcement, May stood to change direction, but Logan had a question. "What's going on in London?" she asked.

Coulson wasn't sure if he should answer and wondered why she immediately knew something. He sighed, "Thor is there fighting something else from another world and we need to make sure nothing alien gets left on the scene for anyone to grab," he replied.

She sat forward in her seat, Logan knew Loki was Thor's adopted brother, "He's there now?"

Coulson nodded before leaving the room to make sure everyone would be ready once they reached their destination.

Logan's heart skipped a beat as she contemplated the possibility of seeing Loki again, after all this time had passed. Would he even remember her?

They landed shortly after Coulson made the initial announcement and he addressed them all before they got off the plane. "If the God of Thunder is still here, do not get in the way of his battle. You will most likely be killed. Once he is done or if he's already left, stay close and look for things that don't belong. If you find something, call over Fitz or Simmons and don't attempt to touch it. We don't know what effect they could have," he finished before gesturing for everyone to follow him.

When the team exited the plane, they were greeted by the sight of a giant alien ship which had crashed through the water and cut straight through land. Logan looked up and saw Thor battling a small army of terrifying looking creatures.

Logan summoned her power and brought a storm before she moved her hands in a circular motion causing rocks to gather in the air before her. Coulson and the team watched her work as she'd never used her skills prior because she hadn't needed to. She finished her, now giant, rock ball and motioned forward, hurling the rock into Thor's opponent, giving him the chance to gain the upper hand.

"I knew you had skills but those were even more impressive then I'd imagined," Coulson commented as they continued to watch the scene before them unfold.

A red smoke filled the area near the ship and Thor went into it, facing the threat. Before their eyes, the red fog disappeared leaving Thor on the ground.

Logan and her team moved in, now that the area was clear from danger. Coulson and the others began looking for items, but Logan went to Thor's side where a woman was already kneeling.

"Is he ok?" Logan asked.

She looked up, "I'm not sure," before she glanced back at Thor just as he opened his eyes. He sat up, smiling at the woman before he glanced over and saw Logan sitting there on the grass.

"Do I know you?" Thor asked, "You look familiar."

Logan nodded, "I was there when you and the Avengers saved New York. I helped Loki when he first arrived. Is he here too or still, well wherever you took him after?"

Her question brought a darkness to Thor's face that immediately caused Logan's heart to drop as she added, "Do I want to know?"

Thor took a deep breath, "He was killed just before I came here," he revealed, "He saved my life."

Logan choked back her, irrational, emotional reaction as she nodded, "Well, it looks like he redeemed himself. I should rejoin my team," she moved to stand.

Thor stopped her, "He spoke of you during our time in Asgard after he was arrested. He wanted to come back and figure out what you two were experiencing together. I'm sorry," he was genuine, making it harder for Logan to hold her tears back. He added, "Thank you for your help in this battle. You are a friend of Asgard now."

Logan nodded, "Thank you," she choked out as she walked away from him and the woman she now knew was Jane, and walked behind a column where she sunk down and let her tears fall freely.
