"Why am I here too?" Logan asked, landing in the grass, confused.
Loki reached out a hand to her, which she took, "I'm not sure but I can't say I'm displeased. Perhaps now, we can realize the connection we share," he reasoned optimistically.
Their moment was ended as Odin, king of Asgard, called out to his sons. Thor and Loki moved toward him while Logan remained in place, already feeling like an unwanted house guest.
Almost as quickly as they'd found their Father, Odin died before their eyes, his body turned to sparks, flying into the wind.
Logan didn't move toward the brothers, wishing for them to have their space but just as she stood, a black door appeared behind her.
Logan backed away just as Loki and Thor moved toward it, the three meeting side by side once again.
A woman appeared, long black hair in a skin tight black and green bodysuit, speaking as soon as she arrived, "So he's gone? Shame, I would have like to see it."
Thor addressed her, "You must be Hela, I'm Thor son of Odin."
She huffed, "You don't look like him."
Loki replied, "Perhaps we can come to some sort of arrangement," his tone morphing into his usual mischievous one.
Hela laughed, "You sound like him." Then she looked at the three, paying Logan no attention, "Kneel."
Loki's face changed to shock as he said, "I beg your pardon."
"I said kneel to your Queen," Hela replied as she ran her hands over her hair showing a helmet with more horns then Loki's.
Thor jumped into action, throwing his hammer as he and Loki returned to the normal wardrobe. Logan grinned at the chance for a fight as she summoned a hurricane from the waters below.
Hela stopped Thor's hammer mid air, glancing at Logan, "I'm not sure who you are but that is a very nice trick you have," as she snapped her finger and the storm stopped while she crushed Thor's hammer in her bare hand.
"That's impossible," Thor stated, in disbelief.
Hela smiled devilishly, "You have no idea what's possible."
Before anyone could make another move, Loki yelled to the skies, "Bring us home." Thor yelled no to Loki's request but it was too late as the bifrost appeared. Loki grabbed Logan's hand as the four were sucked from the Earth's ground into the air and then into space.
As they moved through space, Hela gained on them. Loki turned to throw a knife at her with his free hand but she easily flung it back at him, knocking him and Logan out of the bifrost, free falling until they finally crash landed.
Logan sat up and began to look around. All she saw was garbage as Loki sat up next to her, looking at her with a subtle smile on his lips, "Look at the bright side, after all this time, we get to spend time together."
Logan couldn't help but laugh, "I suppose you're right," she agreed while he stood before he helped her up to join him.
"Let's find whoever's in charge of this land we've wound up so we may charm our way into his favor," he proposed, "I believe we would be quite far along in our relationship had I not been sent back to Asgard, faked my death, and posed as my Father, king of Asgard. Would you be open to acting, or trying out us, as a couple?"
He spoke while they walked but all the things he said caused Logan to stop, "I mourned you," she stated, "I know you didn't know or could have known to care, but I was lost when Thor told me you died, devastated. It was irrational with how little I knew you, but maybe it's that connection," she shared.
Loki looked into her eyes, "I have thought of you much more often then you could imagine in our time apart and I do believe both of our reactions, as deep as they seem for the length of time and lack of familiarity we share, come from whatever bonds us together. I do hope it's what I've been thinking it is, but for now, we need to get out of the open before something captures us," he offered his hand.
Logan nodded, "You're absolutely right," she took his hand. "I'm sorry to pour all those emotions out at you," she continued as they tracked through the trash lining whatever the ground was toward a large building. "I defended your actions and lost a lot of friends except for Coulson, who you killed but they brought him back."
"How could you defend my actions?" he asked, "I told you my entire plan before we were pulled apart."
Logan shook her head, "I cared for you when you arrived and what I know from that time, is that you had no choice in what you did. I've wanted to tell you this for so long and I also hope our connection is what you are thinking," she changed the subject gaining a grin from him as they progressed on until they reached the center of the strange, strange city they'd fallen into.
Before they entered the main building, Loki turned to Logan and leaned toward her, grasping her chin in his free hand before he put his lips to hers. She gave into his actions, her eyes closed as he pulled back, "I have wanted to do that since you kissed me," he shared, "We are, I believe, meant to be together in a romantic, soul mates as your world describes, for whatever purpose I don't know."
Logan smiled in return, "I look forward to our time here as practise for the future we hope for," she looked ahead at the doors. "Do we walk in and demand an audience or fight our way there hoping to impress the boss of this world into accepting us?"
Loki's eyes lit up, "I like the second option."
