Note: I'm back and going to try and finish this story off quickly, enjoy! Just a reminder, Chapter 1 was when the funeral took place.

November 2004

After the funeral, Schemer spent the following months trying to focus on work, and failing miserably. His day had become a robotic routine of getting up for work, working, and going home only to fall asleep far earlier than would be considered normal.

It was on a completely unordinary day, however, that all this changed. He was driving to work on his regular commute, but as he saw his office and reserved parking spot coming up, he just decided not to stop. He passed by the office entirely, and kept driving.

He was on auto pilot, and kept on driving until he stopped at his destination. He just felt like he had to come here. Standing in front of the now empty Shining Time Station he felt a pang of sadness. This place deserved better than what it got. It deserved better than this. He stepped up to the locked door and peered thoughtfully at the sign announcing it's closure.

"There's got to be something I could do." He thought, eyes closed.

He snapped back to reality, and grabbed his cell phone.

"J.B. King? It's Schemer."
