"Nice to see you again boys. But you know I never thought you were the traveling type. Guess you know what they say, never judge a book by it's cover." The young woman said jokingly, leaning against a tree casually. She hair was up and her dress ripped, blood staining her sleeves. She held a small bag in her hand and she tossed it in the air while speaking a little more assertive. "Either way, what's up?" She smirked showing a little teeth. Sam pulled out his weapon and aimed it at her while stepping several steps forward.

"Give them back Meg." He demanded in a cold tone. She gasped and held her chest.

"He's really mad this time huh Deanie?" She turned and looked at Dean for approval.

He slide his weapon out and aimed it at her heart. "You heard him." She stayed still for a couple seconds studying the scene that lay in front of her. She had known these two for sometime now. She even recalled helping them a couple of times.

"There is so much hostility in the air. Really guys lets just put the weapons down and I can be on my way."

"Why would we let you have them Meg, do you really think we're that stupid?" Sam snarled.

"Of course not. Just stupid enough to think you could actually gather the jewels by yourself and present them so wonderfully to your precious angel." They both look a little confused as she continued. "You in over your heads. These things out here, they aren't like me. They are physical demons, not just physical manifestations. These things don't need a host like me. Do you think that half breed carries around a giant ass sword for the fun of it? I'm surprised you lasted this long." She stuffed the little bag into the front of her chest and walked behind Sam and patted his shoulder. "They sent you here to get you killed." Hse whispered. Sam flipped around and aimed the gun closer. She smiled and put her hands up. Dean walked closer and softly touched his brother, he relaxed a little and Dean continued.

"Why would they send us here to kill us when they could just do it themselves?" Dean asked scrunching his eyebrows at the demon. She sighed and looked at the sky then back at Dean.

"Because if they killed you there would be some kind of uproar, but if you happened to die by the claws of some futile demon it would be no ones fault." She frowned a little and walked over to Dean and patted his cheek her blood stained fingernails running across his skin. "This is why you two are going to go back to your shitty motels and musty car and you're going to tell your winged puppy that you lost the Jewels and there was no hope." Dean snatched her wrist and squeezed it as tight as he could.

"My car is not musty." They locked eyes seriously and she threw her head back and cackled.

"I thought you were serious there for a second Dean." she cooed. Sam Grabbed the women by the hair and threw her down pointing his gun in between her eyes.

"I was." He chuckled aiming his gun in the same place. Her eyes flashed into black and a snarl grew on her lips.

"Hair pulling really? Are we twelve." She threw herself up and kicked Sam in the abdomen.

"Sam!" Dean yelled turning his head to his brother then back in time to see Megs attack against him. She raised her hand and struck him across the face sending him flying. On impact he reached for his gun but a wooden sandals came crashing down on his fingers. She reached a hand behind her and held Sam in his place. She stared down at Dean and breathed then laughed a little.

"You make me play so dirty. If you move I'll strangle him from here." Dean didn't move a muscle after those words left her lips. "You know I gave you your chance, now I am leaving and you two are going to live in the dirt and eat rice for the rest of your miserable lives. Don't blame me you chose this." She hissed. He squirmed under her foot trying to get out of her grip. Sam dropped to the ground grabbing at his throat. Dean screamed throwing himself upward but her grip was to strong. Sam looked into his brothers eyes, watching the world go fuzzy and dark and that's when he saw it. The silver streak across his vision. Suddenly air filled his lungs and he wheezed and coughed aggressively. Then his brother sat at his side begging him to breath and calling his name. When his system calmed he watched Inuyasha holding Meg above his head by the neck. She was struggling, kicking and screaming horribly. Miroku Stood behind her ready for whatever was going to come.

"Where are the Jewels?" The half breed questioned. She didn't respond and he tightened his grip. "Where are they!" He screamed. She struggled and Sam called out where she had hidden them. Inuyasha dug in her dress uncomfortably and found the bag then threw it to his companion.

"Don't get to excited mutt." She laughed. He tightened his grip tighter and gritted his teeth. He didn't let up this time. He held her there like it was nothing and if he was waiting for someone to tell him to put her down but no one did. Desperation started to leak into her expression and the fight or flight began to kick in.

"Please….Wait..let me…" She pleaded

"Right like he's going to let you down. Let you explain how you almost killed our friend. How you murdered that women in village for no reason. You're a demon and deserve death like the rest of them." Miroku spit looking into her black pits. The first time he spoke the whole time. She stopped struggling then and turned her eyes back to the stolen hazel color. Her hands pulled at inuyasha's and tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Then...Kill me." her words were strained but clear. The two stopped and stared not sure how to continue. They looked each other for just a second. Dean Screamed no just a little to late. She had planted her foot into the other demons face and landed on the ground. She didn't give herself anytime to breath before she was off into the forest. Inuyasha cradled his nose and moaned in pain. Miroku stunned looked into the woods then exclaimed "Damn it! You let her get away!"

"At the cost of my nose!" Inuyasha complained inspecting his hands for blood. Miroku opened his mouth to say something but Sam stopped him.

"She's not worth it, trust me. She's probably on her way back home by now. And we got the jewels back so.." Sam trailed off knowing that was not going to satisfy the man's need for revenge.

"We can't chase her in the dark anyways." Inuyasha said seriously, but still holding his nose. The monk thought for a second and nodded with a tight glare.

"You're right. Let's go." He turned and started to make his way back to the village silently. The others looked at eachother and Inuyasha groaned.

"I hope Kagome has something for my nose."
