Hours later,

When I landed I saw Happy waiting for me, I had my head down and I didn't look at him. I walked to the backseat and got in. There was nothing but awkward silence the entire trip I knew he was pissed. When we got to my house I grabbed my bags and he drove off, I took a deep breath and walked up the driveway. I looked through the glass door to see Pepper and my dad. Pepper saw me and ran to the door. I opened it and walked inside, Pepper wrapped her arms around me and gave me a tight hug. I noticed her eyes where red and puffy and her nose was runny. My dad stopped pacing and walked over to me.

"We were so worried" Pepper said "you didn't answer your phone and then we saw that thing on the news."

"Thing?"

"That giant robot, it threw you through a window" Pepper said

"Kida, what is that?" My dad said as he pointed to the blood stain on my shorts.

"Is that blood?"

"No, yes…look it doesn't matter"

"Yes it does matter you need a hospital" Pepper grabbed my hand and almost pulled me out the door

"No I don't, see." I lifted up my shirt and showed them there's no wound "I'm sorry for making you guys worry, but I had to go to New Mexico to talk to someone who knows my family."

"And did he know?"

"Yes he told me I'm apparently some type of fuckin' alien that is in Norse myth. The guy turned out to be Thor the God of thunder and I was friends with him making me thousands of years old." I thought to myself

"No, there was nothing" I lied "now I just want to shower and go to sleep."

I turned around and rushed up the stairs and went to my room, there I slammed my door and locked it. I tossed my bag onto my bed and saw my sketching book halfway out of it. I stared at it before slowly walking towards it. I pulled it out and just looked blankly at it as I flipped the pages. I stopped when it showed my last one. It showed the little blonde boy, the green eyed boy, and the little girl. Now I see me, Thor, and according to Thor the green eyed little boy was Loki. It showed the three of us playing in the snow. According to Thor it was the last day we all saw each other for thousands of years. I flipped the page over and saw the portrait of the woman Helena, my mother. I now finally know her name.

"But why did she take me here? Or leave me at the doorstep of an adoption center?" I thought, "If Odin is so strong why couldn't he find me? Why would they just abandon me? Am I not good enough?"

Too many questions ran through my mind, I fell back and landed limp on my bed. I curled into a ball and held my arms around me tightly together. Almost as if I let go parts of me will disappear. Everything I've learned, everything I've ever known has been destroyed. I can't look up to the night sky the same way again. Knowing there is an advanced race of people out there, and knowing I'm one of them. That was abandoned and sent here, because my birth mom was trying to save me.

I closed my eyes tightly with tears building up, I put my face into the sheets as soft sobs fell out of me. I'm not even human, if Pepper or anyone knew they would never look at me the same. What would my dad think? He would just think I'm crazy and send me to therapy. What am I? I'm not even human. Am I some goddess? Royalty? Alien? Am I a monster?

Asgard,

Frigga walked down a long open corridor and looked into one of the gardens. There she found Thor sitting on a stone bench, in the same garden where he, Loki, and Kida played as children. The moonlight and lit torches in the corridor let her see the grim look on his face. She quietly walked behind him to see him holding a white flower with red detailed patterns on the petals.

"Kida's favorite" She said, Thor looked up to see his mother "you haven't stepped foot into this garden since she and Helena went missing."

"But now I know she's alive, she looks like her mother and has her father's fury." He smiled at the last part when he said that

"I'm surprised she didn't come back"

"It was her choice, I couldn't force her back, she has found her own family on Midgard." Thor said "She loves them very much."

"Does it bother you she doesn't remember what you and Loki went through as children?" Frigga asked sitting next to her son

"Yes, it bothers me she doesn't remember our great adventures. But I'm happy she doesn't remember her time with Loki, spare her the pain of knowing what Loki became."

Frigga took a deep breath in, she put her hand on her sons cheek and kissed the top of his head. He closed his eyes and she pulled him into a hug.

"Let he build happy memories, there will be a time when she'll return to us." Frigga said "We just have to be patient."

Earth,

Phil sat in his car, Lola, down the street from the Stark house. He just stared at the house until the lights where out.

"Are you going to tell her?"

Phil looked in his rearview mirror to see Natasha in the backseat.

"How long have you been there?"

"Since you stopped at the carrier in L.A." She said "So? Are you?"

"I don't think I can"

"Then she'll just fall down a deeper road until she has answers. What happened in New Mexico, has affected her. And keeping the secret of what happened to her mother to yourself will make affect her more." Natasha said "She can't be lead on with false leads, she needs to know."

"You sound concerned about her Natasha, have you told her about your secret?" Phil asked "How you cared for her as an infant? You took a bullet for her, that you put her on the footstep of that orphanage."

"Phil"

"Why do you care so much?" Phil asked "You've known her for a few days"

"I know what she's going through, not knowing what your past was. Not knowing where you came from. Trust me I know what she's going through right now, and it's a living hell. So if you do care about her as much as I do then you will tell her what happened to her mother. Tell her what happened that day in Norway, in '94."

Phil froze as Natasha got out of the car and slammed the door shut. He closed his eyes and pinched the ridge of his nose. Phil Coulson, has survived the toughest and deadliest missions an agent of SHIELD can go through. And yet he didn't have the guts to tell Kida, her mother was died a painful death in the cold.
