'Today is the day.' The sniper thinks, rolling her way lazily into the therapy room before pulling her chair to a stop. Walking was slowly but surely becoming easier, and according to Doctor Green, if someone without Aura had had her injury they would likely still be in a bed. The knowledge does make her feel a bit better, if only a small amount. With the tournament coming nearer and her team training so hard while she's forced to sideline, limited as she is to target practice from her chair or in a prone position. At least she's gotten a lot of practice harnessing her Semblance. Her control improving in leaps and bounds as she guides her chair around corners, down hallways and stopping on ramps to hold herself in place. At one point she even managed to, much to the disapproval of both her partner and girlfriend when they found out, guide her chair up stairs.
The combination of pushing forward and holding it while occasionally adding up made her feel like she was straining something. Like a phantom muscle she couldn't pinpoint. Still, she had done it, and felt it had been worth it... up until Ruby and Nolan took turns the next three days making sure she didn't do something 'so remarkably stupid' again.
The oddest thing she noticed was that after the first visit she got from Nebula in her hospital room, the violette haired leader of Team NDGO seemed to grow more comfortable spending time around her. The idea they might be working back towards rebuilding the friendship that the end of their relationship destroyed brought a smile to May's lips. She had missed having a friend in her former crush.
'Wish she wouldn't worry so much though, she's starting to make me nervous' May thinks to herself as she waits for her doctor to show up. Nebula had been showing an increasing amount of concern for May's future with Ruby after the tournament. Sure, the distance between the academies would be a bit difficult, but with the CCT towers they would be able to talk daily outside of missions, of course. May was also already making plans to spend the time after their current year with a trip back to Vale. Maybe she would even get her mother to take a vacation and spend some of the time with her. Overall, she's not too worried. But Nebula's doubts and comments have made it a difficult stance to maintain. 'After all, Ruby is still pretty young. Who's to say someone else won't catch her eye while I'm back in Shade?'
May shakes her head rapidly, a frown marring her face as she dispels that line of thought for the moment. It was honestly her only real concern. Not that she would even consider Ruby of ever cheating, the young girl has a heart of pure gold. But if someone else took an interest, they would have months of time to work with, and no girlfriend to interfere.
'Stop it Zedong, that way lie Drakes. Thinking like that causes nothing but trouble. You're fine, you're going to be fine everything will work out great.'
Before she can contradict that thought Doctor Green comes in, clipboard in hand, eyes narrowed and demeanor firm. It was only after spending those weeks under the doctor's care that May learned to read the warning signs in the doctor's mannerisms in order to judge her real mood. At first, one grumpy no nonsense attitude was no different from another except sometimes she was a little extra snippy.
May's eye moves first to the white knuckled grip, bad sign. Her stance, feet close together, arms crossed under her bust. That's also a bad sign, it's the stance she takes when physically restraining herself from visiting violence on her more stubborn patients. May would usually add the narrowed eyes but… well… Doctor Green's eyes were always narrowed. Currently the young huntress-in-training is working under the belief that the doctor might have forgotten how to smile in a way that didn't make her seem like a movie villain when everything's going according to plan.
"Heya Doc, do you give all your patients such special one on one care or just the really cute ones like me?" May asks, waggling her eyebrows at her caregiver.
That brings the doctor up short for a moment as her brow twitches, May is almost sure she spotted a vein on her forehead pulsing until she hears the doctor give a long sigh filled with pain, suffering, frustration, and exasperation. The sniper choosing to sit in her seat smiling her head off as a palm covers Dr. Madison Green's face, thumb and index fingers rubbing at her temples.
"Comments like that, Miss Zedong, are the reason you are not allowed to have nice things. Like flavorful meals, do I need to talk to the kitchen staff?" She asks and the smile on May's face is replaced with a pouting look. "That's better, and that look doesn't work on me. Besides, your girlfriend does it better." The doctor replies.
May is forced to bite her tongue to keep herself from making a comment on her doctor preferring them young but the threat to her diet is still in place and she has little doubt it would be enforced. Besides, she got what she was after with her flirting anyway, if her doctors more relaxed stance is anything to go by.
"Lets just start alright?" Doctor green comments before May can think up an appropriate, or more likely an inappropriate, reply.
May rolls herself over to the bars and applies the wheel breaks before taking a deep breath, pushing herself up and waving off the doctor before she grips the bars. She marvels at how much easier it is to stand now than it was when she started her therapy. She pauses, relaxing her grip to put more weight on her legs until she feels her left starting to shake with the effort.
"I think I can walk Doc, at least a few steps now." She says before using her grip on the bars to ease up on the weight on her recovering leg. The steps are shaky, but thankfully nothing like the first few times she attempted to walk the length. With careful steps, she get's to the end and smiles brightly even as she pants softly.
"Very good, Miss Zedong. I still want to see you in that wheelchair for now, but, for short periods you can use a crutch, I suppose a cane could work instead but if you want to use one of those you'll have to get it for yourself. Don't abuse the privilege either, I'll be informing your team leader of the conditions as well, understand?" The doctor asks clearly, waiting for a response. And really there's only one response a sensible person could give to it.
"You got it Doc, I'll be extra careful, I promise." She replies before sitting in her chair obediently so she can roll over to the floor mat unwilling to push her luck now after just getting to this point. She sits down letting the doctor scan over her leg and take readings from her Aura with patience before she starts stretching out the injured limb and pulling it in close.
'Besides, as nice as it will be not to have to use the chair anymore, I'll miss pulling Little Red into my lap.' She thinks to herself. It was honestly her favorite part of her recovery feeling her little girlfriend pressing gently against her as she helped the young girl study, or even just relaxing together.
"So Doc, when do you think I'll be ready to get back to training? Or at least using the gym again, I'm going to get soft if I stay away from it for too long, you know?" She asks trying to look nonchalant about it all. It doesn't fool her doctor for a moment.
The doctor gives her a long look before examining her leg and her scans before checking the clipboard before sighing. "Look, I'll give you this. You can start going back to the gym so long as you remember not to overwork that leg. I mean it, you will be careful or I will make you regret it, do you understand me? Keep it light or I will have you barred from that section of the school entirely until you've fully recovered." She states, her eyes narrowed in a challenging glare.
The answer was an eager grin and rapid nodding. "You got it Doc, and thanks. It's been weird going so long outside of my normal routine, you know? I still wake up thinking I need to get to the gym." She adds not bothering to hide her appreciation as she moves to the next part of her therapy.

Ruby sits, waiting for May after her therapy. Her legs swinging under her seat as she looks through her Scroll and fills the small amount of time between her classes ending and May getting out with news broadcasts and weapon field testing reports.
'I wonder how many changes will be made between the prototype Paladin we took down and the finished model? It would be neat if General Ironwood lets us fight one after they're done. Maybe I could ask Penny to suggest it when I see her again?' She wonders after looking at the specs released to the public. As unlikely as it is to happen she could still hope.
"Oh, hello Ruby, I didn't expect to see you here. Aren't your classes still going on?" Comes a kind voice from the short girls' right. Turning she spots the smiling face of Nebula looking at her curiously.
"It just ended. I usually head right over after so I can see May when she comes out of therapy. Are you here to see her too? She should get out soon." Ruby offers as she closes her Scroll and pockets it so she can give Nebula her full attention.
'It's nice to see that they can still get along like they do. I guess something good came from May's injury, even if I'd rather she not have gotten hurt to begin with.' She thinks as Nebula seems to stop and consider the offer.
"Sure you don't mind? I only came by because my team finished our training a little early and thought she might like to see someone waiting for her. But since you're here it's not really needed I guess." She asks moving into a chair before hearing Ruby's response.
"Nah, I don't mind at all. You're friends right? No reason you should have to leave just because I'm here. I think it's pretty cool you're supporting her now after how things went between the two of you." Ruby mentions making conversation. Nebula seems a bit surprised for a moment before smiling wanly.
"She told you about us, huh? I figured you'd want me as far away as possible if she told you about that. Our breakup wasn't very clean after all." The girl with indigo hair replies scratching the back of her head.
"Yeah, I heard a bit about that too." Ruby admits shifting a bit awkwardly as she recalls hearing about what happened between her girlfriend and her ex. "But I mean, you can't help who you're attracted to you know? It sucks when it's not reciprocated, but that's life. For awhile I was convinced I hated May with her teasing and taunts but now I wouldn't give her up for anything."
She blushes when she finishes that, realizing the brevity of her admittance. Still, there is nothing that would indicate to her that she feels any different. In all honesty, in the months since the students from Shade arrived at the school Ruby has grown quite attached to her infuriating girlfriend. She can only hope May feels the same.
"She said I wasn't attracted? Strange she would say it that way. I tried to make us work but it felt to me like she just lost interest after awhile. I mean, at first everything was great. All confidence and affection mixed with the occasional shyness, you know? After a few months though... I don't know. It was like she just got bored." Nebula comments seemingly unconcerned as she shrugs. "Maybe it was just a matter of perspective? I don't know what she's told you about our break up but that's just how it seemed to me. I'm sure you two will work out though. You're so cute together." She finishes waving off her comments with a small smirk at the worried and introspective look that came over Ruby's face.
'May told me a little about their history but not much about what really ended it. Could she get bored with me too and break things off? Should I ask May about it?' The shorter girl wonders as she shifts in her seat. Fortunately she's not left to ponder long as the door opens and May walks into the waiting area leaning heavily on a crutch with Doctor Green walking behind pushing the wheelchair.
"Hey Little Red, hope I didn't make you wait too long." She says smirking at Ruby with a knowing look. It was the same greeting she started giving every time she left therapy to see Ruby waiting for her.
And like the sun emerging from behind a cloud bank, Ruby finds herself grinning right back. The amused and affectionate look in May's eyes doing wonders to assure the shorter girl that they are doing just fine.
"You're walking!" Ruby exclaims hugging May by the waist and almost causing the sniper to lose her balance as she rocks from the impact.
"Well, 'hobbling' is more appropriate at the moment I think. Doc said only short distances too. I think she followed me out here just to make sure I mentioned that or she would do it for me." May says, adding the last comment in with a stage whisper and ignoring the 'damn right' that followed.
They remain in their embrace for a long moment before separating. The tall sniper seating herself back in her chair before turning to look at Nebula with a smile. "Heya Neb, come to check up on me?" She asks, rolling herself next to Ruby. The younger girl smiling as May relaxes back in her seat. The sniper pleased enough with her progress for everyone in the room to notice.
"Sure did, but your girlfriend got here first. I saw your team and didn't think anyone would be coming today with Beacon having classes and all. I had the time and thought I should show my support." The violette haired team leader replies.
"Well I appreciate it Neb. I was going to hang out with Ruby's friends after this, want to join us?" May offers but her ex shakes her head.
"Maybe another time. My team is demanding a little meeting today." She replies, waving as she heads for the door.
Now mostly alone, Doctor Green having returned to her work, Ruby starts to turn to May when she lets out a startled eep. Her surprise lasts only a few moments as she feels the strong arms of her girlfriend pull her into the chair. The grip around her waist comforting and warm as she relaxes back into the now familiar seat.
'Nothing to worry about Ruby. You and May are going to be just fine.' She thinks nuzzling into May's shoulder as she buries the uncertainty Nebula's words brought deep down. Her previous relationship being just that anyway. In the past.
~MZ~
'I can definitely see the benefit to having a same gender team' May admits to herself as she enters the room with Ruby. A changing Yang glancing over and shrugging before continuing unbothered. 'Still, I doubt any of them would be okay in front of guys… Well maybe Yang, but, definitely not Weiss or Ruby.' She thinks. It's not like she ever intentionally gave the guys a free show but things happen when living in close quarters. After the third time she was interrupted changing she just learned to accept it was going to happen and not let it get to her.
"Are you going out, Yang?" Ruby asks as May rolls them into the room. "We were going to hang out with JNPR for a bit." She asks as her sister heads out dressed for a night in the city.
"Not tonight Rubes, I've got a few things to do today. But I'll be back later if you guy's are still up and about. Maybe we can play some games, huh?" She offers before heading out leaving the two in the room alone.
"So, where are Weiss and Blake?" May asks filling the silence that enveloped the room. Not that she feels the least bit awkward. She's alone with Ruby, always a time to be savored as her arms wrap around the shorter girl's waist her nose pressing gently into the nape of Ruby's neck. A slow inhale leaves the scent of Ruby's shampoo teasing her nostrils with the smell of strawberry.
"Weiss and Blake are in the library studying. They took a pass on this evening altogether. So it's just us and JNPR, I guess. I thought that Yang might want to join in but, oh well. Wanna head over?" She asks pulling herself from May's grasp and slowly stretching out with her arms moving up above her head. Not noticing May's eyes lingering where her top slipped upward.
"Sure, they're right across the hall right?" May asks already using her hands to turn her chair around as she moves towards the same door they entered through. "Oh yeah, Doc said I can start working out again so long as I go easy on the legs for now, a week or two now and I should be almost back to normal." She comments, grinning at the news as she shares it with Ruby.
"Really? That's great May! It's kinda convenient too." Ruby comments following May across the hall before knocking on the door to JNPR's room.
"Convenient?" May questions tilting her head as they hear a female voice call out asking them to wait for a moment. Ruby shifts a bit from one foot to another.
"Well yeah, me and Yang are going to head back home to Patch for about a week around then and I was wondering if you wanted to come along. You know, see our home and look around the town. Meet my dad." She replies the last bit said at a mumbled whisper, May can't be sure she heard right. But before she can ask the door opens to Pyrrha Nikos, looking at them and smiling broadly.
"Hello! Jaune didn't call you Ruby?" She asks as she looks from Ruby to May and back. The latter still not quite sure what to think of the famous girl.
On one hand Pyrrha is Ruby's friend and for the most part she seems kind, humble, and agreeable. However, the effects of her fame show in other places that just rub May the wrong way. As evidenced by her sparring class in taking on an entire team, alone, and then willingly accepting another match straight after she seems to have a confidence in herself bordering on arrogance. While she seems to shy away from recognition, her actions don't seem to mirror the attitude which means one or the other is a front.
'For now I'll reserve judgement. It's not worth the problems that could rise bringing it up after all. Besides, Ruby's a good judge of character, I'll just have to trust her. Then again, she wanted to date someone like me. Maybe it's a little off… Just a little.' She thinks giving herself a little smirk as she glances at the little red girl who seems to be slowly but surely stealing her heart piece by piece.
"Jaune never called, why?" Ruby asks tilting her head.
"He's at the CCT calling home to talk to his sisters. Ren was dragged off by Nora shortly after. It's just me here today." She comments looking apologetic.
"But we had plans… Well, what do we do now?" Ruby asks looking between Pyrrha and May for an idea to come from either of them, seemingly undeterred by the drastically reduced size of their group while Pyrrha seems surprised she's being asked at all.
"Oh, Ruby I wouldn't want to intrude on your time with your girlfriend…" She starts before it's waved off while May smirks broadly.
'That line will never work on someone with a heart as big as Ruby's, if anything, she's going to be more determined now to include you Invincible Girl.' She thinks in reply.
"It's not a problem we were planning on spending time with other people today, we get plenty of time alone anyway. We're pretty good at sneaking away when we want to." She adds with a conspiratorial whisper that makes May chuckle and shake her head before deciding to put an end to the conversation before the redhead can make a larger protest that would keep them standing there in the hall for another twenty minutes.
"Oh just grab your weapon, Nikos, let's head to the shooting range and squeeze off a few rounds. I haven't gotten the chance to shoot since I got injured I need the practice anyway. Besides, it'll be fun." She states getting a nod from Ruby who turns to look at Pyrrha expectantly until the amazon sighs and nods her hands gathering her hair into a ponytail and tieing it up before following the two towards the locker room where most students lock up their weapons when not in use.
~PN~
'That's out of practice?' The redhead questions to herself watching the serious look on May's face as down field, round after round punches through paper targets lined up along the range at varying distances. The speed from one shot to the next is surprising, given the accuracy of each round tearing through one bullseye after another in rapid succession before sweeping back to hit the smaller corner targets. After the second pass, May hits the stop button on her Scroll to pause the timer before looking at the time and frowning.
"Hmmm… I've lost three seconds, that's really rough. Didn't think it would be that bad. Is it the chair?" She mumbles shifting awkwardly in her chair, her knees bending as she does so as if she's contemplating getting out of her seat so she can kneel instead.
"I'm not sure I've seen anyone shoot that fast. Certainly it's more than adequate?" Pyrrha questions getting an odd look from the sniper that she can't place the meaning of.
"Has anything but your best ever been adequate for you, Nikos?" May counters, taking the tournament winning champion aback immediately. The hypocrisy of her statement hadn't ever occurred to her. Fame and expectation had never allowed Pyrrha to do anything but her very best in anything she ever attempted. Failure is not an acceptable option for the 'Invincible Girl'. Still, it was something she had embraced a long time ago. And even now, the urge to push at her limits and always work to be at her very best remained.
The thought that someone else would have their own reasons for developing the same attitude about anything hadn't occurred to her. 'I do wonder what drives her though. Just pride in her skill?' She wonders to herself before shaking her head to clear the thought before giving May a smile in response.
"My apologies. I meant no offense by it. I just wasn't aware you had such a strong drive to be at your best. I can certainly understand that, at least." She replies weathering the searching gaze from the older sniper before May simply nods and turns back to the targets as fresh ones are raised for her to lay into down range. This time, she removes her scope and restarts the process using only the iron sights along the top of her rifle while Ruby watches with a small grin.
The three of them had all started shooting at individual targets until only May was left with ammo. Her bag apparently packed full of rounds for when she finally got the chance to visit the range. Letting Ruby and Pyrrha both to stand and watch the show as the muzzle of Myrtles Bloom flared in varying shades of different Dust rounds as ammo is loaded and discharged, the spent casings littering the ground around the sniper's chair, occasionally swept up by Ruby and collected in a plastic shopping bag.
"She loads her own ammo too?" Pyrrha asks leaning over slightly to talk to Ruby behind the focused sniper.
"Yup! Well, when the casings aren't to deformed. Automatics like her's aren't as gentle with them as bolt actions like Crescent Rose, apparently." Ruby replies. "She even loaded a few rounds for my sweetheart for me and when she read off the price. For the lot, it was a little over half what I'd usually pay for the same amount." She replies before passing the plastic bag to Pyrrha and creeping up behind May and hesitating before leaning down to give the sniper a kiss on the cheek between shots making the next one go wide as May jumped in surprise.
Watching the two devolve slowly into sweet talk, with Ruby trying to hold her ground under her girlfriends unrelenting teasing and lascivious behavior, only to slowly crumble into an indignant and brilliant blush brings a smile to the tall redhead.
'They're so cute together. I know Ruby used to complain about her constantly before they started going out, I was worried, but, seeing them together now... They seem to fit together so well.' She thinks before her mind turns to the boy on her mind. Her frustration and irritation at being unable to capture his attention has been growing even if she was managing to mask it well enough.
"You know, if he was interested he likely would have noticed by now. He seems a bit slow on the uptake, but, not that slow if he's paying attention to someone." A voice cuts through her thoughts making her blink from her thoughts to look at the wheelchair bound sniper as she looks back with a knowing gaze.
"I… I don't know what you're talking about." Pyrrha replies getting a sigh from the sniper.
"Look, I've mentioned this to a few people, but, the relationship I had before Ruby was a lot like the one you're hoping for now so I know the signs, trust me. It's not a good sign for the relationship if after this long he still hasn't noticed you in that way." She starts, that same knowing look never leaving her face as she explains herself.
"You'll want something he may never be willing, or able, to give and in the end it will hurt you both when one of you can't keep pretending anymore. My advice, whether you want it or not, is to look around. I don't believe no one has never sent you at least an anonymous love letter before, I know there are people interested. Find someone you think you could have a fun time with, at least, and talk to them. Doesn't have to lead anywhere but you can still test the waters. Who knows, maybe seeing your affections turned to another will help him notice where they were aimed to begin with." She states before running a hand through her hair.
"The alternative is waiting for something that will never happen, or leaping on it as soon as you get the chance and risking it turning sour, spoiling everything you hoped for, and that pain will cut quite deep. If you can't find anyone willing to step up and ask you out. Ask them yourself, it might seem awkward, but you're good at putting on a good face even when you'd rather be doing anything else, right?" May adds with a smile before realizing what she just said and blinking. "Not uh… not that I think you're fake or anything like that. Just that I'm sure you've given a few interviews you'd rather not have. I've have people asking me for one ever since the train thing." She backpedals holding her hands up to defend her bad wording.
Thankfully, Pyrrha listens and chuckles a little albeit sadly. "True enough I suppose. And yes, I have given a few of those interviews. As for your advice though… I'll think about it, and thank you." She replies before gathering her weapon, Milo, and heading for the exit ahead of the couple, forgetting the bag of spent shells she's still holding until she get's back to her dorm and blinks at the hand still clutching the spent rounds.
'Too bad they're not looking for a third. I might not have minded that.' She wonders before shaking her head and setting the bag aside. She'd give them to Ruby the next morning.
~NV~
"So what's this really about?" Nebula asks after entering the guest room she shares with her team and closing the door behind her. Her eyes sharp as they move from one team member to the next. Sure, they were friends of a sort, but that didn't mean they couldn't be shrewd or clever. If one of them figured out what she's been doing and took offense to it, they could have rallied the rest of the team to get the violette haired girl to back off.
"It's about your ex, Neb." Dew starts, drawing a sigh from the leader before Nebula motions for them to continue. "We think she may be starting to distract you. And that's a problem, don't forget we're in Vale for one reason. And that's not for you to mess around with Zedong. If you're having second thoughts, you should have said something to her much sooner." The living sand storm adds waving her hand negligently.
'Can't have them getting the wrong idea here.' Nebula thinks before clearing her throat to cut into the conversation.
"I am not having second thoughts. Me and May wouldn't have worked out. I'm not trying to get her back, I'm just playing around with what she has now. It's entertaining to mess with the two of them." She replies off-handed.
'And teach her that she has no right to move on and find someone new while I'm left on my own. It's her fault no one has approached me since then. They have to think I'm not into men either.' She adds to herself as the more timid of the four, Octavia, speaks up.
"That's really-"
"Unimportant and irrelevant." Gwen interrupts drawing eyes from everyone to herself. "Look, we don't care about your personal business. We aren't going to help or hinder your little crusade, but, the moment it starts to affect the team we're putting an end to it, understand? You lose focus Nebula and we'll put an end to the whole thing, get it?" The knife slinging girl asks, Dew and Octavia positioning themselves behind her to show their support for the notion.
Nebula's teeth grit for a moment in frustration before she sighs and nods. "Fine, the tournament comes first. My personal life second." She concedes before moving to grab her weapon. She has frustration to work out in the training room.
~PN~
Pyrrha sat at one of the desks in team JNPR's dorm, quietly cleaning Milo before making the trip back to the locker room when she heard a timid knock at the door. Glancing at the door, she quickly cleaned her hands before seeing who was there. The rest of her team had yet to come back from their adventures for the day but they all had their Scrolls so it couldn't be one of them.
Opening the door revealed both Ruby and May, the former standing in front of the open doorway, her hands behind her back and her stance reserved, or shy might be better. Her face was lit up with a blush worthy of Yuletide celebration. The latter sat in her wheelchair, a Cheshire grin across her face as she stared between her girlfriend and herself, though she was sporting a blush almost as prominent as Ruby's.
"Oh, hello again. What are you two…" Pyrrha recalled a certain bag that she had left on the desk for the moment. "Oh, silly me, I took the empty casings with me by accident, I'll go grab them for you."
Ruby stammered as she started to turn away, "Oh, um, thanks but this isn't, um, that is-"
"Little Red, if you want to change your mind, you can." May cut her off gently, Cheshire grin still in place.
"No I'm good. I'm fine. Totally fine." Ruby looked up to the redhead, "Um, could we come in?"
Pyrrha looked on for a moment but smiled, "Of course," stepping aside so Ruby and May could make their way into the room before she closed the door. May sat behind Ruby in her wheelchair, letting the scythe-wielder have center stage. "Now, what's this about then?"
Ruby shifted on her feet for a moment before looking at Pyrrha in the eye, "You see, May was telling me a bit about your, um, relationship thing?" She said questioningly.
Pyrrha was a little put out by that, looking at May for a moment, but Ruby cut anything off before it started.
"And I said that I wanted to try and do something for you! Because you're my friend and friends help each other when they're frustrated and sad and stuff and all that!" Ruby stammered.
Pyrrha showed her confusion as May kept grinning, and Ruby blushed all the more, "I'm sorry, but, I don't think I am following what you're saying. I appreciate that you what to help me but I don't know what you mean to do." She stated, hoping for a clearer answer,
"Well, May said that you should try and find someone else for the time being, 'test the waters' I think she said." Looking for confirmation, May nodded at Ruby while staying silent for the moment. "And I, that is, we, wanted to, um… help."
The emphasis on 'help' seemed to trigger a previous thought in the redhead's mind, a blush to rival the shade of her hair exploding across her face. "Oh. Um, well I… suppose I, wouldn't mind?" She said, emulating Ruby far more than she realized.
Ruby beamed like it was her birthday, "Awesome! But, um, May can't strain her leg too much so she has to be on the bottom and I figured that since I'm kinda… little, I should be on top so… you get to be in the middle?" Ruby asked with a tiny, sheepish smile. Ruby inched just a foot closer to the amazon, who unknowingly did the same.
May carefully stood up, her grin turning into the most sultry gaze that Pyrrha had ever seen, and walked behind Ruby before reaching around to the drawstrings for the corset that the little reaper wears.
The bindings to Ruby's corset started to unwind…
… and Pyrrha woke up with a start.
"Gah! Oh dear, I don't think I should eat Pumpkin Pete's before bed anymore." Pyrrha rolled over and went back to sleep, determined to remove the secret stash of atrociously unhealthy cereal hidden under her bed in the compartment beneath her cleaning tools, entirely unaware that Jaune had heard her saying some… interesting things in her sleep.
'Food dreams... But I'm not one to complain.' Pyrrha sighed internally, drifting off to pleasant places.
