A.N. Thanks for the review guys it's the wedding day and the next chapter…is the beginning of Age of Ultron.

5 Months Later, Asgard

I stood on a pedestal in my old bedroom, I looked up to the three way mirror and saw myself in my wedding gown. My mom walked in wearing her long blue gown, she saw me and tears grew in her eyes.

"Oh sweetie you look so beautiful, I can't believe you're all grown up."

"Please don't cry mom or you'll make me cry too." The tailor stood up and placed the veil over my face and gave me my bouquet. "I'm so nervous, I feel like I'm going to faint."

"Everything is going to be perfect." She said "And if it's not they'll have to deal with me."

I smiled and I stepped down from the pedestal and hugged her tightly. Natasha poked her head in and told us to get moving. I walked down to the throne room where everyone was waiting, Pepper walked behind me and held the trail of my dress. My dad was waiting for us and I saw red eyes from crying.

"Dad have you been crying?"

"No" He lied "Allergies"

"Dad it's ok to cry" I could hear the music start to play and my heart jumped

"I love you kiddo." He whispered

"I love you too"

The doors slowly opened and everyone stood up and turned around to face us. While I felt everyone's eyes on me I focused on Steve. I glanced over to the groomsmen Sam, Clint, Bruce, and Thor then to my bridesmaids Natasha, Darcy, Jane, and Maria. I smiled and when we reached Odin my dad hugged me before sitting next to Pepper.

"My fellow Asgardians and Midgardians, we are gathered here today celebrate the union of Kida Stark and Steve Rogers." Odin said "Because love is unbound, it does not matter if you are immortal or mortal because it is a gift to everyone. We shall begin with the wedding vows, Rogers."

"I remember when we first met you were sitting a few seats in front of me at a little dinner in Manhattan. Bunch of boys were causing trouble and you stood up to them, like you could take them all down. Which you obviously can." He smiled "Then when I saw you I felt something different, something I haven't felt in decades. Ever since I got out of the ice I have struggled to live life afterwards, but you've helped me so much. You took my hand and you showed me the beauty in the world and even in different worlds. But the only beauty I saw was in you."

"Steve, you've seen me in good times and the worst of times." I said "You stood by my side as my world in SHIELD collapsed. You comforted me when I would wake up from the nightmares. I have been broken and I've had to put myself together, but when I'm with you I feel like a whole person again. Everything terrible that's happened in the past no longer matters because I'm fortunate to have a future with you. I'm no longer afraid of what's to come, of what might be around the corner. Because with you beside me there is no force in all the nine realms that can stop us."

"Do you Steve Roger take Kida Stark to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, so long as you both shall live?" Odin asked

"I do"

"And do you Kida Stark take Steve Rogers to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, so long as you both shall live?"

"I do"

"With the power invested in me, I the All-Father announce you two as husband and wife." He paused for a moment and I realized he seemed emotional about this. "You may kiss the bride."

Steve lifted up the veil and he saw the tears of joy on my face, he wiped a tear off my cheek and kissed me. Everyone cheered and I wrapped my arms around him to pull him closer. When we pulled away he grabbed my hand and we walked down the aisle. Everyone cheered and we walked out to the ballroom for the party. Steve and I sat in the middle of the long dinner table with everyone around us. As we ate and drank wine everyone started dancing, I heard my dad cleared his throat and I saw him standing behind me.

"Care to dance?"

I smiled and we walked down the steps, everyone stepped back to make room for us. Music started to play as my dad and I danced.

"You look beautiful by the way." He said

"Thanks dad"

"Just remember that even though you're now Kida St- I mean Kida Rogers, you will always be my baby girl." He said and I hugged him.

"I love you dad."

When the music stopped everyone applauded and I noticed Odin leaving the party. I knew something was wrong. I followed him down the halls to Frigga's old garden, he was sitting on a stone bench in front of a large pond.

"I remember when you played with Loki and Thor in this garden, and you would pretend to marry Thor in the throne room."

"I remember, we were just children."

"But I knew one day you would be married here in Asgard, but I didn't suspect you would marry a mortal."

"Steve is a good man All-Father, in fact he's the greatest man I know." I said "Going the extra mile to save a life. He's so caring, and brave, and funny, and smart, and protective. He's perfect, and he is everything to me now."

"Kida does he make you happy?"

"Of course he does, if he didn't I wouldn't have married him."

"Is he the love of your life?"

"Yes." I placed my hand on his shoulder. "Odin why are you asking these questions?"

"Kida you are Asgardian and he is of Midgard, you are going to live much longer than him. He is mortal and you are not."

"My blood doesn't decide who I can't love, yes I may live long after he passes away but I'm happy with the amount of time I have as his wife." I stood up and placed my hands on my hips. "I'm happy with him Odin and I don't want to be with anyone else."

I turned around and stormed off, I returned to the party and sat next to Steve. I didn't see Odin after our chat and I brushed the whole conversation off. As the party died down everyone went back to their homes on Earth. While Heimdal sent me and Steve down to a private cabin in the Caribbean. When we arrived the moon was already up and the tide was high. He picked me up and carried me inside the quiet cabin.

"Where to Mrs. Rogers?" He asked

"You know where Mr. Rogers."

He smiled and closed the door with his foot to spend our first night as husband and wife.

~~Chapter Song~~

And up until now I have sworn to myself
That I'm content with loneliness.
Because none of it was ever worth the risk.
Well you are the only exception.
