Two Weeks Later

Bella's POV

I sighed as I unpacked my last box of books. I could hear Rose and Carlisle downstairs talking quietly. While I was excited to be living with Rose and so close to Carlisle and Jasper, it was a little bit overwhelming.

"She just seems so sad Car..." I heard Rose say quietly as I exited my room.

"It's a lot to take in Rose...I mean she finds out that she had a family that wanted her and she has no one to be angry at...no one to confront with her feelings..." He responded. I cleared my throat as I entered the room, "Hey sweetheart...all done unpacking?" he asked with a bright smile.

"Yep, all done...where's Jazz?" I asked looking around.

"He's in the basement playing with his cars. He wanted to come help you but I don't think anyone needs his brand of help when it comes to unpacking." Rose laughed. I smiled and gave a small chuckle.

"I found some photo albums...I thought maybe you might want to see them?" I asked unsure. Carlisle and Rose both beamed at me while nodding.

"Yes! Please!" Carlisle seemed the most excited. I quickly went into my room and grabbed them off my bed. Walking back to the living room I sat between them on the couch and opened the first book. The first picture was the same one I had used to prove who I was. The second though wasn't until I was about 4. I cleared my throat nervously.

"I was about 4 here I think...this was when we lived with a couple of moms friends...my babysitter took the picture cause I wouldn't put the book down...I loved that one." I said, running my fingers lightly over the picture. Rose put her arm around my shoulders and gave a light squeeze.

We spent a long time looking through the pictures. With very few explanations they seemed to be enjoying themselves. The last picture was of me at my college graduation.

"Can I make a copy of this?" Carlisle asked, "I'd like to put it on the mantle next to

Jasper's school picture" he explained, seeing my look of confusion.

"Yes...you can if you want." I slowly nodded. I pulled it out of the protective sleeve and handed it to him. Hesitantly I looked over at him and got ready to ask my question, "Do you think that maybe we could do a family picture? I want to start a new book with only happy memories and I also need a picture for my desk at work...like you and me and Jazz?" I had to look away as I asked. I didn't want to see his reaction; good or bad.

"I think that can be arranged...I hope you know that you never have to be afraid to ask me for anything...I want you to be happy and if taking a family picture will do that for you then that is what we will do. Just let me know when you want to do it and we will get it done" He responded, turning my face up to meet his. I smiled brightly in return and snuggled into his arms.
