Good news! It hasn't been a year since I last updated, just a couple of months! Isn't that just swell? ;)

Hope y'all enjoy! Please review!

"Dad! Dad!" Tony ran down the street from his friend's house towards his now burning home. "Mom! Dad!" He screamed as he ran. He needed his family to be alright, if they all died, he'd have nothing. He soon spotted his dad sitting on the trunk of the Impala holding Sammy in his arms with Dean curled up against his side. "Dad!"

John Winchester looked over to see his oldest son running towards him. "Tony!" Dean jumped to his feet and ran to his brother. Tony easily picked him up and stopped in front of his dad. He saw the heart broken look in his father's eyes and immediately knew his mom didn't make it. Tears welled up in his eyes at the thought of never seeing his mom again.

"M-mommy's gone, Tones…" Dean finally started to cry into his brother's shoulder. He may be young, but he was smart enough to know that he'd never see his mom again. Tony hugged his brother tightly as he started to cry as well.

John stood up and wrapped his oldest sons into a hug, careful not to crush Sammy. "It'll be okay, boys. It'll all be okay…" He continued to hold his sons as they cried until the fire was finally put out.

Just a couple weeks later, the four of them moved away without saying a thing to any of their neighbors. They couldn't stay in that house, even after the rebuilding would be finished, and John was set on finding the monster who killed his wife and his kids' mother. Tony hated the idea of hunting paranormal creatures, but knew that if they didn't help people, no one else would either. But from the very beginning he vowed to get away from it all, hating how his dad was different and his whole damn life was different.

Gibbs went down to Abby's lab in hopes of finding Tony. He had a gut feeling this is where his senior agent went. He was met with a worried and overworked Abby. Seconds after he arrived, Palmer entered, there to help her where he could.

"Gibbs!" Abby ran over and hugged her boss. "What the hell is going on? First Tony is lying and then hands me some vague DNA sample. Now McGee is in a holding cell?"

"McGee was with me he whole time, Abbs, there's no way he- DNA sample? When was Tony down here with a sample?"

"He said you sent him-" Gibbs shook his head. "Why would he lie? I'd have run it even if he just asked… Where did he get a DNA sample? Why did he speak Italian with Sam Winchester? Where is he now? Why is he lying to us? To me? To you?" Abby's brain was going a mile a minute as she ran around the lab looking for something in the mess of evidence and crap she'd been handed that day.

"Abbs."

Abby ignored Gibbs and Palmer handed her the file she was searching for. "I scrounged up Tony's file, and after a quick scan, I think it's faked. It's too clean and organized. I think Tony or someone fixed it. There's nothing personal about the records from his schools or anything. I would need to look at it longer to give a definitive answer, but I just have so much to do-." She handed over the file and went back to scanning the video footage of the shooting. "I have so much crap to scan and analyze. This Agent Hendrickson was obsessed. And Fornell just called saying they're bringing some "goop substance" they found in the stairwell. And Tony and McGee. Gibbs, why would Tony give me a DNA sample to run against the Winchesters…unless oh my gosh, what if it's going to break open a case or what if it is Tony's and it'll show he knew them in his past- or-"

"Abbs, breathe." Gibbs had scanned the file while Abby ranted and agreed with her observation. Now he grabbed her shoulders and made her stand still. "We won't know anything about the DNA until the preliminary results, so don't work yourself up. You have a lot to look at and I am going to get answers from Tony." He headed towards the door. "And get Ducky to help you too, there's a lot that needs to get done."

Just then Ducky walks through the door with a large Caf-Pow for Abby and coffees for himself and Palmer.

"I already did." Abby smiled and thanked Ducky.

Gibbs headed out of the lab, once again in search of Tony.

Tony called Ziva on his way to the holding cells. He took the stairwells to avoid running into his boss. "Ziva, how is Sam?" He didn't even utter a greeting.

"He's in surgery. They say if he makes it through surgery, he will make a full recovery. Did you find out who shot him?"

"The FBI thinks it's McGee. I don't know much. I got to go. Keep me updated." Tony hung up and nodded to the guard watching the cells.

"Tony! Please tell me you guys-"

"Did you shoot him?" Tony stopped in front of McGee. Dean glared at Tony from two cells down. "Tim, did you shoot Sam?"

"No! I was with Gibbs the whole time. I don't even know how they think it's me. Someone edited the footage, but I have no idea how they did it so fast."

"Gibbs will find out the truth. He always does." Tony glanced around Tim's cell. "How are you doing?"

"Well, I've been threatened by a psychotic serial killer and falsely accused of shooting his brother. How do you think I'm doing?"

"Sounds like a pretty typical day to me." Tony smiled a little. "Gibbs and Abby will get you out of here soon."

"What about-"

"Stuff is about to come to light, McGeek. I don't think I'll be able to help clear your name…I'll be sure to let you know everything. After I tell Gibbs." Tony reached through the bars and patted a confused McGee on the shoulder. He then headed over to truly speak to his brother for the first time in 24 years.

10 Months Ago – Purgatory

Benny was asleep, leaning against a tree. Cas was on watch, as he always was, and Dean was sitting next to him. He stared into the fire. They'd been trapped in purgatory for 5 months now. He knew he would never stop fighting to get out, he owed that to Benny and Cas. However, he was starting to lose hope that Sam was looking for a way to get him out. If they were both fighting for the same thing, why was it taking so long?

"Sam is looking for you, Dean. Kevin and he are searching for a way to get you out. Of that, I am sure."

Dean almost smiled. Of course Cas knew his thoughts, likely without even reading his mind. Usually Cas could provide easy comfort. But not this time. They were almost all killed just a few hours before, and he barely found reason to fight anymore. If he had lost Cas and Benny, he would have given up all hope.

"I don't know Cas…He's left me behind before. It's a pattern with those around me. My mom was taken from me. Tony left. Sam left me. Even my dad left. What's to say Sam didn't give up on me a second time?"

"I have never seen you and Sam truly give up on each other. There's vast amounts of lore on Purgatory. It isn't like when he was in the cage. This time there is a solution out there and Sam will find it." Cas laid his hand on Dean's shoulder.

Dean said nothing for a long while.

"You've never spoken of your older brother…not once. Any chance you will tell me of him?"

Dean stayed silent still, and Cas worried about crossing a line. However his worries soon ceaseed.

"Tony is actually a federal agent now…"

For once, Dean let himself dwell on the memories of the brother he looked up to most of his life.

Dean finally got Sam to fall asleep. He had bought Sam ice cream earlier in the day because Sam was whining about missing Tony. The ice cream had Sam bouncing off the walls for hours.

Dean slipped out of the motel room and sat right outside the door. He grabbed his phone and dialed Tony's number. He hadn't called Tony before now because he didn't want to bother him. Tony had left for many reasons, and Dean didn't want to be a nuisance. The call hadn't even finished one ring before an automated message played in his ear.

"The number you dialed is out of service. Please check the number and try again."

Dean sat in shock before quickly redialing again, and again, and again, until he couldn't see the phone screen through the tears in his eyes. Tony had promised he'd only be one phone call away. He had promised he'd still be there for him and Sammy. Why would he lie? Why would he abandon them…him?

Dean cried quietly outside the room, not wanting to wake his little brother inside. If his brother lied to him, then Dean must be the reason he left. What had he done for his brother to hate him? Maybe he was too dependent? Maybe Tony left to hunt on his own? Maybe Dean wasn't a good enough hunter for Tony to fight alongside? Whatever the reason, Dean knew in his heart he was the reason Tony left. It was the only explanation. Their father looked out for them and did all he could, and no one could leave innocent little Sammy behind.

Dean just wasn't good enough for Tony to want to be around. His sorrow turned to anger. He repeatedly slammed his simple phone into the ground. He did this until it was in pieces and his hand was bloody. Then Dean went into the motel room, deciding that he would always be there for Sam. That way Sam would hopefully never feel the same pain Dean just experienced.

If his father yelled at him for being irresponsible with his phone days later, Dean didn't care.
