"I made you some hot chocolate," Mina said as she pushed room door closed with her hip. She was holding a tray with two steaming cups of hot chocolate and a bag of marshmallows. She was hoping that it would help to relax and calm her boyfriend, but she didn't really expect it to work. She placed the tray on the table and turned her eyes to Izuku.

He was sitting on the floor beside her bed, knees pulled up to his chest and arms wrapped tightly around them. His eyes were wide and unseeing as he stared at the wall and he was... shaking, trembling, and had been doing so since he came to her.

She didn't know what to do to snap him out of it. It honestly scared her. She approached him cautiously, worried that she would set him off in some way, but he didn't react to her presence at all. She bit her lip, wrung her hands, before plopping down beside him and slowly pressing her shoulder to his. "Talk to me, Izuku. Please."

Izuku blinked a few time. His body stopped shaking and the awareness returned to his gaze, though she could still see the shadow of something haunting him. "S-sorry, MIna. I just... I can't stop remembering it..."

"Remembering what?" She asked. "You haven't told me anything yet."

It was late, after midnight. Mina had been asleep when Izuku's knocking woke her up. She'd taken one look at him though and knew that he didn't need to be alone. She'd let him into her room, but he still looked like he was alone, like he thought he was alone. She couldn't stand it. She moved onto her knees, putting her hands on Izuku's shoulders.

He placed a hand on top of hers where it rested on his shoulder. "I know I'm... kind of out of it right now."

"It's okay," she told him. "Just... talk to me."

"Those villains that kidnapped Kacchan," Izuku said slowly. "I've been around most of them before. They attacked the school, Shigaraki personally threatened me, and I've fought them over and over and none of them have ever made me feel like... like..."

Mina moved closer to him. She wrapped her arms around him and pulled him to her chest, cradling his head. She felt the slow dampening of her shirt as tears welled up in his eyes. "It's okay, Izu."

"All Might's done," Izuku whispered. His voice was thick and choked, broken by sobs. "We have to fight that... I have to..." His breathing hitched.

"You're not alone, Izuku. You don't have to do that by yourself. I'm right here," Mina told him.

He wrapped his trembling arms around her, clinging onto her as his sobs became heavier. "I thought I was gonna die," he confessed quietly. "All I did was stand near him, but..."

"It's okay-"

"No," he shook his head. "It's not okay. All Might can't help me anymore and I... I can't do this without him."

"Yes you can," Mina told him. "All Might isn't the reason that you were able to come this far, you did this all on your own Izu. You're the one who fought those villains, and you were the one that rescued Bakugo, and even now, you're the one that's planning to continue the fight. All Might doesn't have anything to do with that." She placed her hands on his cheeks and lifted his face, looking into his watery eyes. "You're a hero, Izuku. No one else made you this way. This is all you, Izu."

He smiled weakly at her through watery eyes. "Mina..."

"I mean it, Izu. You've been through so much and you do so much for others," she told him. "You're honestly my hero. I won't let you go through this alone."

"Thank you, Mina," Izuku said softly. He pulled her closer, adding, "I love you."
