Project Superion Warehouse
It has been 8 hours since Nightfly attacked Rio and killed Tiago and Lukhas.
8 hours since Alex and Blu first fused to form Alu, and 8 hours since Blu began to work.
Blu, Alex and Magnus labored to finish the job of transporting his son's conscience into the robots.
While Blu worked, his mind kept going to the idea of fusion, how many people can I do that with? What happens of I die while doing it?
Mainly it was thoughts on how he could use it to face Nightfly.
Nightfly, that name sent anger into his body.
The bird that had dared attack his home and kill his kin, the one he had taken his sons from him.
One way or another, he would get what's coming to him.
Each of Tiago's alter egos became a robot of their own, the hard drives that contained their conscience being inserted and downloaded into the robot husks.
Jewel, Carla and Bia had wanted to stay, but at the insistence of Zain and Skyler they finally left for their own hollow.
Blu now held the hard drive with mace Tiago's conscience in his wing, "Let's pray this works", he mutters before inserting the hard drive into a slot behind the robot's head.
Magnus pressed a button on the computer, downloading the contents of the hard drive onto the robot's mainframe.
Within minutes, all of Tiago's memories, emotions, characteristics and habits were inside the robots.
Blu solemnly unplugged the hard drive before looking at Alex, who stood next to a switch.
"Begin the awakening", stated Blu.
Alex nodded and flipped the switch, causing electricity to flow through the robot bodies.
The bodies shook as they slowly gained sentience.
After 30 seconds of this Alex flipped the switch off and watched the robotic bodies.
The sound of engines revving up could be heard, along with the sounds of other mechanical and electrical components opening and prepping.
The body on the left began to move a little, it's talons clenching and unclenching, before it's eyes opened to reveal a glowing blue light.
"D-dad?", asked the robo Tiago, scanning his surroundings.
"TIAGO!", shouted Blu as he ran to his newly revived son.
Tiago returned the hug, "What happened?".
Blu looked down, "My son, Nightfly killed you and Lukhas".
Tiago put on a face of confusion, though his metal face barely showed it, "Than how am I here?".
Magnus walked up, "Check you wings".
Tiago raised his wings, to see metallic feathers, jumping back at their unnatural look.
"Am I one of the robots that forms Superion?".
"Yep", stated Magnus.
The other 3 robots were now rousing and heard this comment.
"Wait, we're transformers?", "WOO HOO, PARTY!", "Nice", were the 3 reactions to this fact.
They held their wings out where laser versions of their bows and weapons were formed.
Instantly they attempted to transform into their bike modes, which they were able to do.
"Sweet ride", said one of the Tiagos.
"Anyone want to try merging into Superion?", asked another.
"Let's do it!", yelled another.
"Wait, what should we call ourselves?", asked another Tiago.
Blu piped up, "How about the Aerialbots. In a TV show called the Transformers there is a combiner called Superion and he's built up of the Aerialbots".
"Sounds cool", declared Mace Tiago, "AERIALBOTS, MERGE TO FORM SUPERION!".
In seconds Mace and Spear Tiago transformed into blue and silver metal legs which Magnus jumped onto, Bow and Sword Tiago flew around before connecting with Magnus's shoulders and changing to arms.
A large head rolled up from between Magnus's shoulders, "Superion online!", it declared.
"Superion merges the minds and strengths of it's components, as Tiago still retained his super speed Superion is faster than any monster ever could be", declared Magnus.
Alex walked up, "Guys, *yawn* it's getting late. Can we all go home?".
Blu shrugged, "Yeah, I bet Jewel would be happy to see Tiago alive and well".
"HEY, BLU", asked Superion, "IF WE'RE GOING TO BE AERIALBOTS, CAN WE SCAN JETS INSTEAD OF BIKES TO TURN INTO?".
Blu shrugged, "I don't see why not, but let's go home first".
Superion nodded and began walking out of the warehouse, accidentally kicking down the door in the process, "SORRY".
Superion continued to run through the city, shaking the ground as he went.
Blu and Alex began to follow while flying, allowing them to keep pace with the speeding Superion.
In their hollow, Jewel was sleeping, with Bia and Carla sleeping nearby.
The seeming shaking of the ground roused the 3 birds from their slumber.
"What the?", said Jewel who now looked out of the hollow, to see the form of Superion, running towards the tree.
Superion slowed his pace from a sprint to a jog, then a walk.
Jewel stepped out of the hollow, with Bia and Carla following.
Superion divided into his parts, the 4 Tiago's all flying up to their family.
Jewel took her 4, newly robotic, sons into her wings.
"Never, do something like that again", she said, still hugging her offspring.
"Don't worry, mom", said Mace Tiago, "I doubt we'll be pulling a stunt like that any time soon".
"Actually, Tiago, we're probably entering a catastrophic war", said Magnus who now walked to the group.
Blu and Alex now landed, "Yeah, Nightfly took the power of the Eye straight out of my body. He may have Lai's powers", added Blu.
"Uh Blu. It is not like that", stated Magnus, "He was wearing the Infinity Armor. The only way of unleashing the full power of an infinity stone like the Eye of Agamoto or the Heart of Power".
"Infinity Stones?", asked Carla, "What's an Infinity Stone?".
"I think I know", said Bia who went and grabbed her book, swiping through the pages until she found her desired information.
"The Infinity Stones are a set of 6, brightly colored stones that have incredible power, enough to destroy nations in seconds", stated Bia, "Their full power can only be unleashed through the power of the Infinity Armor".
Bia's eyes now opened at the new information she read, "It says here that the last one to use the stones was Thanos, in a brutal war".
Tiago chuckled, "How bad could it be?".
" 3 million birds died to him alone", stated Bia.
Tiago was surprised, his metal face showing the emotion, "th- three m-mi-million?!".
Bia just nodded before Magnus continued, "The stones were entrusted to the factions that fought Thanos, the Eye was given to South America, The Heart of Power to Africa, the Claw of Alex to Ga'Hoole, The Claw of Memoro was given to Frozen Fjord, Prev's kingdom, The Wing of Odeus went to the Ice Claws of Russia, and The Wing of Perces went to the Pure Ones. Chances are Nightfly's after the other ones, too. We should probably warn the other fact-" "MAGNUS!".
Magnus turned to see one of the Rio Defense Force soldiers flying to him.
"SIR, Ga'Hoole and Frozen Fjord have been attacked by this Nightfly character. As of now Ga'Hoole's king, Soren, is dead".
Blu felt a bullet shoot through him as his world came shattering down, another friend, gone.
The soldier continued, "The Pure Ones are under assault too".
Pure One citadel,
100 miles northwest of Ga'Hoole
(The Chain by Welshy Arms begins to play)
"PURE ONES!" shouted an armor clad owl, "DEFEND THE STONE!".
Inside a stone room was a pedestal, with a red stone resting on it.
Surrounding it were Tyto Owl soldiers battling Underlings.
Leading the Pure One defenders was ruthless warrior and his wife.
Their names were Kludd and Nyra, rulers of St. Agelious and the Pure Ones, the Pure Ones that were now fighting Nightfly and his forces to defend the Wing of Perces.
Kludd wore a metal mask over his face to conceal scars of the past, while Nyra wore nothing allowing her snow white feathers to glow on the battlefield.
The 2 barn owls used their battle claws to dismember and execute Underlings, left and right.
"DIE WEAKLINGS!", yelled Kludd as he tore the throat out of a nearby Underling, "YOU DISGUST ME WITH YOUR WEAKNESS!".
"Oh really?", came a voice.
The Underlings seemed to stop and run to the rooms entrance, where an armor clad spix stood.
On the head piece of his armor was a green gem, his right talon a yellow one and on his left talon a blue stone.
The spix looked at Kludd, revealing glowing green, yellow and blue eyes, thanks to the infinity stones he already had.
"Hello, Kludd", he greeted evilly, "You're Soren's brother, right?", Kludd wore a defiant look, "Why do you ask, you gold bitch".
Nightfly chuckled, "Ah, ah, ah, Kludd. Now, what would your brother think of that language, oh wait I forgot. I killed him already and took the stone".
Kludd instantly charged Nightfly, aiming to tear out the macaws heart, but he was stopped mid air.
"What is this? RELEASE ME!".
Nightfly casually closed the distance between him and Kludd, "I"m afraid I can't let that happen, Kludd. You see, I need that stone over there".
Nightfly gestured towards the pedestal where the red stone sat, "And you'll give it to me, or I'll crush you and the rest of your pathetic followers!".
Nightfly grabbed Kludd's neck and began to squeeze it, the infinity stones he possessed boosting his strength.
Kludd choked out several words, "PURE ONES! *ack* KILL THEM!".
The order was heard, and a thunderous roar exploded ad the Underlings and owls began to brawl once more, blood quickly soaking the floor.
The Pure Ones seemed to have the upper hand, but their numbers were beginning to dwindle.
More and more Underlings seemed to pour into the room.
Nyra, with all her skill, could not hope to hold back such an assault.
She looked to her husband, slowly suffocating from the power of Nightfly, "Gotta help Kludd".
Kludd was slowly losing consciousness, "It's a pity you owls die so easily, perhaps I might have had a sense of satisfaction".
Nightfly was about to break Kludd's neck when he felt a great force impact his chest, sending the spix flying back.
"Uh, who dares strike me?!", he looked to see Nyra helping Kludd to his feet.
"Kludd, you okay?", Kludd shook his head, "I'm fine my love. But Nightfly's not going to be when I'm through with him".
The 2 barn owls glared at Nightfly, who grinned in delight.
"Ah, some worthy foes, finally", once again Nightfly charged the 2 barn owls, who subsequently dodged the attack.
"For Glaux sake, how do we beat the guy?", asked Nyra, "I have no id- UGH!", said Kludd before being punched brutally across the room.
"KLUDD!", shouted Nyra.
Kludd staggered up, just to fall down again and lay motionless on the ground, the battle still continuing around him.
"I wouldn't worry about him if I were you", she turned to Nightfly, "I'd worry for yourself".
Nightfly threw his wing forward, sending a beam of green, yellow and blue energy at Nyra, who barely dodged it.
Nyra stumbled to regain her balance, but upon regaining it she glared at Nightfly.
Nyra instantly went into the attack, landing repeated strikes onto Nightfly, who could only watch as his feathers and skin were lacerated by Nyra's metal battle claws.
Nightfly tried to get some punches in, but only succeeded in missing and throwing himself off balance.
Nyra kept dodging and striking the mad macaw, who now just grinned and took the strikes.
"Alright, I've had my fun. Let's wrap this fight up, shall we?".
Nightfly now activated the power of the infinity stones, increasing his muscle size and his height.
His eyes glowed brighter, his chuckles filling the air as he kept growing stronger.
Nightfly now stood almost 2.5 feet tall, towering over any bird, be it macaw or hawk.
"Let's play owly", he sneered before kicking Nyra, crushing the owl's ribs as she flew into a nearby wall.
Kludd now got up, "NYRA! You'll pay for that, Nightfly!".
Nightfly glared at Kludd, "You? Make me pay? Stop joking around owl, I almost laughed".
Kludd charged forward, hoping he'd stand a chance against Nightfly, who lifted his wign a fired a beam of yellow and green energy at the barn owl.
Kludd dodged the shot and managed to kick Nightfly's head, stunning the macaw.
Nightfly shrugged the attack off like a chick's feeble punch and returned with his own punch to Kludd's face, knocking the barn owl down and out cold.
The last thing Kludd saw was Nyra get up and try to attack Nightfly, who grabbed the white owl and held her by the throat.
Nightfly shoved his wing right through Nyra, grabbing Nyra's heart and tearing it out.
Nyra went limp as she hit the ground, crimson blood soaking her previously snow white feathers.
"Nyra, n-no", he murmured.
Kludd closed his eyes as he succumbed to his damages.
Africa
Heart of Power temple
"NIGTHFLY IS TAKING THE INFINITY STONES AND YOU WANT US TO SIT AROUND HERE AND DO NOTHING!?", yelled one bird, staring at the group of others in front of him.
"Look, we can't go off and help the others. Remember, the heart is the most powerful of the stones", said a grey parrot, talking to the group, "If we leave, Nightfly'll just take it then. And we'll be royally fucked".
The previous bird, a hawk wielding double machine guns, relented, "Fine, but we're still alone against him".
The grey parrot shook his head, "No. We are not alone, thousands of years ago the world united to defeat Thanos, they'll unite again, or my name isn't Remon".
The hawk sighed, "Fine, but be ready".
The hawk flew off, probably to finish prepping.
"Don't worry, we will be", said Remon in a dark tone.
For a split second, his eyes glowed blue, but quickly returned to their normal hue, "and the war will end, with the strongest winning".
Ohhh, cliffhanger!
Anyways, get ready for another chapter soon, I have a long weekend so NOTHING BUT WRITING!
