Heart of Power Citadel Camp
Blu exited the portal, to the savanna and in front of the citadel.
His presence attracted the attention of the birds in camp.
"Holy crap, I think that's Blu Gunderson!", "I expected him to be taller" and "I don't think that's him, not tall enough", yelled some, "حماقة مقدسة ، هذا بلو غوندرسون!", yelled others.
His presence was announced in 50 languages and thousands of birds, who now crowded the hero.
Blu tried to get through the crowd, but nobody understood what he was trying to do, they just crowded him more.
"Excuse me, sorry, sorry. Trying to get through here", he said, but he was still being crowded.
Suddenly, a gunshot was heard.
All eyes turned to a crow, his gun smoking and pointed in the air.
"Let the bird pass!", he yelled, which the others obeyed and allowed Blu to walk through the crowd.
Blu recognised the crow, "Josef!", he greeted the crow, "How are you?".
Josef smiled and shook Blu's wing, "I'm good, comrade".
Jewel walked up to the 2, followed by Bia, Carla, Rafael, Rico and the rest of the heroes.
"Uh, Blu. Who's this?", asked jewel, who eyed the crow carefully.
"Oh, Jewel. This is Josef, lone survivor of the Ice Claws. Josef, this is Jewel, my wife", said Blu.
Josef bowed his head, "Pleasure to meet you, ma'am", he said before looking back up.
"The force leaders are bitching with each other in the war tent, you may want to see this", he added while looking at Blu.
Blu shrugged, "I guess I gotta sort this out. Y'all can come with me if you want", he gestured to his friends.
Rafael spoke up, "Sorry amigo, we're going to go settle in and practice", with that everyone but jewel and Blu left.
Blu looked at Jewel, "Guess it's just you and me, now".
Jewel smiled, "I like it that way", she wrapped her wing around Blu and the 2 lovebirds set off for the command tent.
Command Tent.
In the tent was round table, the leaders of each faction sitting around it.
There was Finn, Remon, Kludd, Otulissa and an empty seat for Blu, whenever he was to arrive.
"I WILL NOT FIGHT ALONGSIDE SOME NON TYTO FILTH!", yelled Kludd, prompting a response from Otulissa, "WE WON'T FIGHT WITH SOME PURE ONE DEMONS!".
The 2 factions kept yelling at each other, Finn and Remon also had tensions between them.
Earlier that day one of Finn's eagles had blown the brains straight out of one of Remon's soldiers head, prompting a brawl between the 2 factions.
Around the leaders were various guards, soldiers and workers of various factions and species.
"I SWEAR TO GLAUX! I'D RATHER TEAR OUT MY OWN GIZZARD THEN FIGHT WITH YOU BASTARDS!", yelled Kludd.
"OH YEAH, LET'S GO. YOU AND ME, RIGHT NOW!", returned Otulissa, about to attack Kludd.
She was about to attack when another voice entered the conversation, much louder than everyone else's.
"WILL YOU SHUT UP!?", asked the voice, revealing itself to be Blu, using his powers to boost his volume.
Otulissa settled back into her seat and the yelling stopped.
Blu lowered his voice, "Thank you, now look at this bulshit. You fuckers are more concerned with fighting each other than fighting Nightfly", the birds looked at each other nervously, knowing Blu was right.
"By god, we're going to work together, or my name isn't Blu Gunderson", a guard spoke up, "Blu Gunderson's 3 feet tall".
Blu looked at the guard, "so I've heard, and if he was here. He'd engulf Nightfly with fireballs from his beak and lightning from his arse", this comment prompted a chuckle among the leaders, Blu smiled before getting serious.
"I am Blu Gunderson, and you aren't Pure Ones, Guardians, Hawks or Macaw", the birds had a look of confusion.
"You are birds, free birds of this world. Kludd-", he looked at Kludd, "what do the Pure Ones fight for?".
Kludd looked at the macaw, "Tyto Superiority and the freedom of Tytos being oppressed by the non tytos".
Blu looked at Otulissa, "and what do the Guardians fight for?".
Otulissa answered, "we fight for equality and freedom of all owls".
Blu put his wing to his chin and pretended to think, "freedom, hmm sounds a lot like what Kludd fights for. Now answer my next question, how many of you have died for your beliefs?".
"Scores", replied Kludd.
"Look, you 2 are not so different, you fight for freedom and are fierce warriors. Can you 2 put aside your differences for one day?", Blu looked at Remon and Finn, "How about you? Can you put aside your differences and rivalries to fight for the greater good?".
The 4 leaders looked at each other before nodding, Blu smiled, "Good, now there is a piece of information you may want to know".
Blu reached into his cloak, pulling a scroll out of a pocket and putting it on the table.
A guard picked it up and read the words aloud:
Dear Blu Gunderson,
I, Nightfly, challenge you to a solo duel to the death on the day of battle.
Powers are allowed but it is a strict solo match.
If I win, you hand over the stone and I allow your followers to leave free birds, if you win (which is impossible) my forces will dissipate and the stones returned to you.
Why, you might ask, am I allowing you this chance?
Well it is quite simple, I want those who believe in you to watch you suffer before I take over this planet, I want them to know that I bested their best warrior.
So, see you on the field of battle, unless you're too big a coward.
From, Nightfly.
The guard stopped reading, looking at the faces of his leaders.
Otulissa got up, "for glaux sakes Blu. What were you thinking? That monster will kill you like he has so many other warriors".
Finn stood up, "I agree with her majesty over there, there is no way you can beat him with just your thunder abilities".
Blu smirked, "that's not all I have", he activated his 3 powers, allowing the darkness tentacles and snakes to pop out, his body glowed blue and his tattoos glowed.
Remon clapped before murmuring something, "I must inform my master of this".
Blu shut off his powers, Finn stood up "Alright Blu, go through with this plan of yours. But try not to die, buddy".
Blu smirked, "I do that all the time", then he left the tent with Jewel.
He smiled before remembering something, he ran back inside.
"Oh yeah, by the way I brought an extra 130,000 men", he then ran back outside.
Rest of the team
Magnus, The Tiagos, Bia, Alex and Skyler were walking through the Savanna, admiring the tall yellow grass and spread out trees.
"Wow, sure is different from Rio", said Skyler.
"Yep", replied Bia, "it really is".
Magnus looked at the Tiago's, "Wanna race?".
The Tiagos jumped at the idea, "Hell yeah!".
Bia and the 2 owls agreed, and in seconds the 5 robots were in their bike modes, engines revving.
Bia walked up, "Alright, first one to get to that tree", she pointed to a tree about 400 metres away, "Is the winner".
The Aerialbots replied by revving more, "C'mon sis. Start the race".
Bia got to the side, "ready, steady, GO!".
In a millisecond the 5 bikes lurched forward, their engines roar filling the air.
Mace Tiago pulled out ahead, "C'mon guys, I thought this was a race?".
The 5 bikes began to move faster, Bow Tiago managing to pass his sibling.
"Nice try brother, but I am fast-UGH!", he was stopped by an explosion in front of him.
Bow Tiago flipped forward, transforming while in the air.
He hit the ground with a metallic clang!
He shook his head, "Uh, what the hell was that?".
He received his answer in the form of a dark macaw, landing in front of him.
130 more Underlings landed around him, waiting to attack.
"Oh crap", the Underling lifted his wing, about to strike down.
Bow Tiago closed his blue eyes, waiting for the end.
His end was interrupted by the sound of an engine, "Get away from him, creep!".
Bow Tiago opened his eyes to see Magnus ( in bike form) crashing into the Underling, killing it instantly.
Magnus transformed, transforming his wings into laser guns.
Magnus began gunning down the dark creatures, the rest of the Tiagos rallying and creating laser guns from their wings.
Alex, Skyler and Bia arrived, and began fighting.
Bia crushed some Underlings with her mind, Skyler cut others in half with her scythe while Alex parried one Underling's strikes with his wingblades.
Bow Tiago got up, "GUYS, WARN THE OTHERS! WE AERIALBOTS WILL HOLD THEM HERE!".
Bia nodded, "C'mon guys. We need to go!".
Alex looked at her, "Are you crazy? We can't abandon them".
Bia shook her head, "trust me, if I know them a lot of birds are about to die".
Alex nodded before looking at Skyler, "SKY! We're leaving!".
Skyler nodded, the 3 birds quickly flew away.
Bow Tiago smiled before joining the fight.
He made a laser bow, "MACE, I NEED A BOOST!".
Mace Tiago shot an Underling before turning to his brother and nodding.
He formed a laser shield, allowing his sibling to jump on it.
Once he felt Bow Tiago's weight he pushed up sending his sibling flying into the air.
(Bow Tiago needs his wings to fire his weapon).
Bow Tiago aimed at the center of the Underling mass, "SEISMIC SHOT!".
He fired a shot so powerful it caused a blue explosion, killing 30 Underlings.
He landed on the ground and struck a pose, "Your doom goes boom", he said with swagger before fighting again.
Spear Tiago stabbed an Underling with a laser spear, Sword Tiago then jumped over him and attacked the Underling behind Spear Tiago.
Magnus continued using lasers to snipe the demon birds.
Now there were only 80 Underlings left.
The few Underlings managed to corner the Aerialbots, closing in on them.
"Too bad little ones", sneered one of the dark birds, "You weren't strong enough".
Magnus looked at the Underling, "Alone, we're not, but together- AERIALBOTS, UNITE!".
Spear and Mace Tiago transformed into legs, Magnus jumping onto them.
Sword Tiago jumped up and connected to Magnus' right shoulder, Bow Tiago did the same on the left.
Magnus' head rolled down and Superion's rolled up, "SUPERION, ONLINE!".
He bellowed, now looking down on the Underlings who were struck with fear.
"Oh cra-" was all one could say before being crushed by Superion's huge foot.
"ATTACK!", yelled an Underling who began to charge, followed by the others.
Superion grinned before transforming his hands, "SAHARA SCORCH!", he began shooting flames out of his arms.
The flames torched the Underlings, killing them instantly.
Several Underlings got past the wall of heat and managed to attack Superion, who crushed and swatted them away.
One Underling got up to Superion's head and punched his eye.
The Underling broke the glass of the eye, causing Superion to scream in pain and grab the Underling before crushing it.
Superion then divided into his parts, Mace Tiago walked up to Magnus, "Probably should have opened with that".
Magnus nodded, "No kidding", replied the mechanical macaw, "Now, let's get back to camp. The others are going to want this information".
The 5 macaws transformed into bikes and gunned it straight back to camp, to warn the heroes of what was coming.
Camp
Blu and jewel's tent
Blu POV
God, being a celebrity gets you the best stuff.
Our tent, for example, is located right next to the stone citadel that housed the Heart of Power, and it is also one of the biggest, I can literally fly in here.
The tent came with some cool stuff, too.
There's a closet for me to store my gear in, some wine (I already drunk it all) and a nest with a blanket.
Right now Jewel is sitting in the nest, not sleeping just relaxing.
I wa currently polishing my battle claws and helmet, in general I was preparing for the fight that would probably kill me.
"Blu, come to bed", groaned my lovely wife, not wanting to get up.
"One second honey", I replied, putting my gear into the closet and closing it.
I walked over to the nest and sat down, I was just closing my eyes when Rico ran up to the tents entrance, "Blu, we have a problem".
I got up and walked to the entrance flap, opening it.
"What is it Rico?".
"The Tiagos encountered a scouting party of Underlings earlier, by Magnus' calculations they'll be here by morning".
I went wide eyed, "Very well, warn the men and have guards at the stone, 24/7".
Rico nodded and left, allowing me to return to Jewel.
I settled back into the nest next to her, closing my eyes as we got closer together.
"Sweet dreams, my love", I whispered, prompting my wife to respond, "Goodnight, Blu".
We fell asleep in each other's embrace, savoring each second with each other.
Nightfly POV
Ah, war.
Probably my favorite word, after it is death and domination but back to the point.
I was forged in the fires of war, in the Rio Army.
I was one of the first to join, actually, fighting against Nigel, The Goddess's and Reidak.
In the heat of the battle with Reidak I had an epiphany, a breakthrough if you will.
I found out the cause to all our problems, all the death and destruction.
It was Blu's fault.
That stupid macaw lead Nigel right to the tribe, wouldn't just give up the Darkness and drew Reidak to Rio.
He was the cause of all the wars and death, and to protect the world.
He needs to be eliminated, immediately.
And I swear I'll be the one to do it.
But the problem was my power, I wasn't strong enough.
So I had to find some power source, and I did.
In the form of the infinity armor, and infinity stones.
But I didn't want to go on this stealing spree until I knew where they all were.
I knew where all but one were, the Eye of Agamoto was a mystery to me.
But that mystery was solved by none other than Blu himself, bringing Lai back and attacking Rio.
That only further pushed me to find the stones, and kill him.
Upon hearing of Lai's demise, 3 years later (I live in the Himalayas, it takes a while for news to reach me) I knew it was time to strike, so I did.
First I took the stone from Blu, Then the Guardians and Frozen Fjord, then the Pure Ones and finally the Ice Claws, where I massacred the locals, they are a warning to all who oppose me.
To defy me is like digging your own grave, it is preparation for the end.
Now, I'm sitting on top of a pyramid in Egypt, drinking a red liquid out of a glass.
No, not wine, I know you can't guess it.
I'll give you a hint, it starts with a B and sounds like Kludd.
Yes, the Elf Owl I harvested it from is laying down next to me, throat slit.
The blood is staining my feathers as well as the yellowstone of the pyramid.
I look at my wine glass, filled with blood, "Tomorrow, Blu. Your blood shall be in this glass, and I'll savor each and every drop of it".
An Underling flew up to me, "Milord, our scouts have been wiped out by, something".
I stood up, drinking the rest of my iron flavored liquid in one gulp, "It would seem they know we're coming. Prepare the troops, we attack tomorrow at mid day".
The Underling nodded and went to inform the 400,000 men under my command as I settled back down, my back resting against the Elf Owl's corpse.
I watched the sun set over the horizon as the world was engulfed in darkness.
I closed my eyes to sleep, "Well, see you tomorrow Blu. For the last time".
I then fell into a deep slumber, waiting for the time I would destroy the one I hate.
Alright, only 3 or so more chapters, than I'm done with the story.
Now, I want to play a game.
