"BLU!", screamed Jewel.
The whole defense army looked on in horror as Blu, the greatest warrior in the world, topped moving and died.
They watched Nightfly stand up and look at them, "Well, well, well. It would appear Blu has… taken the step to the next life", the exil spix chuckled at his turn of phrase.
"Now, I understand the deal was, if I won you all could go home unharmed. But I just realized this. I have the infinity stones, I don't need to obey anyone! Underlings, ATTACK!".
At Nightfly's command, 400,000 Underlings charged our heroes.
Zain flew up (in dragon mode), "For Blu, and our homes! CHARGE!".
A thunderous cheer rose from their lines as Guardians, Pure Ones, Russians, American, Macaws and hawks charged forward.
Our heroes led the charge, Jewel raising her plant sword, The Tiagos and Magnus merging into Superion, Rico and Zain shooting forward flames, Alex and Skyler raised their blades, Bia prepared her telepathy, Carla readied her water powers, Roberto activated his Dovahkiin Armor.
The free birds of the world clashed with the demons of evil, Guardians and Pur Ones cut the throats of Underlings, Underlings clawed and killed Macaws, Hawks and Crows fired into the chests of the demons.
Jewel, filled with rage, brutally murdered Underling after Underling, screaming as she did so.
Bia used ehr telepathy to crush and ball up soldiers, then throwing them at others.
Superion crushed and burned any who came near him, Roberto's flaming sword was a good weapon against the dark Underlings, allowing him to absolutely annihilate the enemy.
Zain's dragon form allowed him to torch and crush the Underlings, Rico also rode on top of him like a horse, firing flame beams at distant enemies.
The 328,000 defenders were a good match for the 400,000 Underlings and they were even winning, until Nightfly joined the battle.
"ENOUGH!", Nightfly flew up into the sky and bolted down to a group of Guardians, who saw him coming from a mile away.
"Guardians! Nightfly is coming!", yelled one.
The others quickly noticed and prepared to fight the spix, Nightfly stopped once he was about 20 feet from the owls, "RAINBOW RAPIDFIRE!", he fired off a burst of rainbow lasers.
The Guardians screamed as the beams flash fried their insides, killing them instantly.
They fell backwards, rainbow smoke seeping from the beaks.
Nightfly now landed on the ground, creating a rainbow sword in his wings, before attacking other soldiers.
Zain, Rico, Alex, Skyler and Jewel saw him, "All available troops, kill Nightfly!", yelled Rico, prompting several soldiers to attack the bird.
Our heroes watched Nightfly effortlessly slaughter their troops before they decided to attack.
The 5 of them flew over to the armorclad spix, landing around him.
"Ah, hello there Jewel, Alex, Skyler, Rico and wait, who are you?", he asked while pointing at Zain.
"I'm Zain, last survivor of Inferno Squadron", he declared, earning a chuckle from Nightfly.
"I assume Blu was the other one", he laughed again, "well, if he was the most powerful of you there is no way you can win this one".
The sound of a huge thunderbolt echoed through the air, a heavy rain beginning.
The single large strike was followed by a mess of smaller ones, causing the battle field to brighten every now and then.
Alex put on an angry face and charged up to Nightfly, stabbing the macaw in the back with his wingblade.
The tip of the blade exited Nightfly's chest, soaked in blood.
Alex expected the macaw to fall down, bleed out and die.
But he didn't, Nightfly just laughed.
"Really? Stabbing me? You gotta up your game", he grabbed the end of Alex's wingblade, and snapped it clean off.
He kicked the snow owl backwards, tearing the blade out of him, before Nightfly stabbed the end of the blade into Alex's wing, causing the snow owl to scream.
Nightfly then made 2 light blades.
"Now that he's taken care of, who wants to go next?", asked Nightfly, grinning wildly.
Skyler and Jewel were next to Attack Nightfly, "PLANT PUNCH!", she yelled before sending a huge wooden vine to punch Nightfly.
But the Spix didn't even flinch, he laughed and destroyed the vine with a burst of energy.
"Really, that's all you can do? I'm disappointed", he then shot slow energy beam at Jewel.
Jewel screamed as she was knocked back, Skyler saw this ad went to help Jewel.
Rico and Zain now tried to attack Nightfly, Rico punched Nightfly with a flaming punch and did nothing.
Nightfly smirked before punching Rico back, instantly knocking out the hawk.
He was about to crush Rico when Nightfly felt a great deal of heat engulf him, he closed his eyes in pain.
He created a power shield to block the flames before turning to see dragon Zain, sending an endless stream of flames at the shield.
Nightfly frowned, "Weak", he then held out his wings before firing a powerful rainbow fireball at Zain.
Zain suffered the massive explosion that followed the impact, knocking him out before returning to bird form.
Nightfly chuckled as he lowered the shield, now where's Jewel?", he looked around to see Skyler tending to Jewel's wounds about 30 feet away from him.
"Too easy" he declared while flying over to the wounded macaw and elf owl.
Skyler saw him coming, deploying her scythe and prepping for battle.
"You will not touch her!", declares Skyler, to which Nightfly responded to with a beam of energy.
Skyler collapses in pain, clutching her shoulder as she fell.
Nightfly laughed again, before grabbing Jewel's throat in his talons.
Jewel struggled to get free, but the infinity stones proved too much for her.
She continues gasping for air as Nightfly laughed and monologues, "Who here can beat me? Who is next to face me?".
"HOW ABOUT ME?", yelled a voice.
Nightfly turned to be impacted by a massive beam of lightning and blackish blue energy.
He dropped Jewel as he was impacted, Jewel coughing as air filled her lungs once more.
Nightfly was sent hurtling backwards by the shot, going almost 100 yards away.
Skyler, Alex and Jewel looked at Nightfly before turning their heads to the blasts origin.
All eyes turned to the origin of the blast to see, Blu.
"Blu!?". Alsked Jewel.
Blu was in his darkness mode, but his thunder tattoos were glowing and he had blue electric venom dripping from the viper fangs,
His helmet and battle claws were electrified and glowing, with his eyes being white with blue irises.
"Time to finish this", he declared before charging after Nightfly.
Earlier
Blu POV
I opened my eyes, expecting to see Valhalla, or Rio, or somewhere I knew.
But I woke up a wide open green plain, on top of a cliff.
I slowly got up and looked around, spotting a hawk and some macaws sitting on the cliff.
"Uh, Hello?", I called, prompting them to turn around and look at me.
Once I saw their faces my beak practically hit the ground.
There, in front of me, were Tomada, Sorrel, Scorcher, Steeler Santa, Luca, Angelo and Arlene the spix macaw.
"Guys?", I asked practically tearing up.
Angelo got up and walked to me, before hugging me, "Hello, Blu. How have you been?".
The rest of the gang also walked up, hugging me and shaking my wing.
Once I saw Tomada I basically cried, "I'm sorry, so sorry for what I did to you", they understood and Tomada put his wing around me.
"It's okay, we know you didn't want to do it, if it's anyone's fault it's Lai's".
I just nodded before Angelo spoke to me, "Blu, you have to beat Nightfly, for us".
I shook my head, "I can't, he's too strong for me", but then Angelo slapped me.
"Listen to yourself, you've fought gods before, all powerful beings. Nightfly has s just a guy in a costume with some glowing rocks", "Yeah, THE INFINITY STONES! I died to him already", replied Blu.
Angelo shook his head, "no, you're not dead yet. You're just seeing this. You're not here yet. Yes your body has died but your spirit hasn't left yet. So you still have a chance".
I nodded my head, "Alright, but how do I go back?".
Scorcher chuckled, "Listen, we'll send you back. But you gotta beat Nightfly".
I smiled , "He'll yeah I'll beat him".
The gang smiled before stretching their wings out to me, a ball of golden energy surrounded me and I disappeared from the afterlife.
Third person's view
Blu's eyes opened wide, glowing blue and white, he stood up and yelled, causing a bolt of thunder to strike him.
He transformed into his darkness mode, his body turning black and his tattoos glowing but this time his thunder tattoos flowed with his normal ones, his vipers had electric venom, his battle claws and helmet became electrified with his sword.
The holes on his body sealed with blue energy and his burns healed.
(Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin starts to play)
A hundred Underlings noticed Blu and attacked him.
Blu covered his wings in electricity before noticing the dark birds.
Blu yelled as he charged back, jumping into the mass of them and punching them with his electric fists, he let off an electrical blast, sending some of the Underlings flying away.
He then jumped and twisted in the air, sending bolts of lightning to the Underlings around him.
One Underling managed to punch Blu, out our hero grabbed the Underling's throat and jumped up and towards more Underlings, using his piers he crushed the one he wa holding and hit the rest of them with bolts of lightning.
Blu landed on the ground and used his electrified sword to slice open another Underlings, black blood falling to the ground.
One Underling came up and tried to stab our hero with a sword, but Blu blocked the strike before decapitating the evil bird.
One Underling managed to punch Blu, but he retaliated by cutting the Underling in half.
Blu flew into the sky and clapped his wings together, "ELECTROSHOCK!", when his wings met they sent off a blue electric shockwave.
Several hundred Underlings were disintegrated by this move, screaming as they died.
Ou hero smiled as he descended to the ground, some birds noticing his return to the land of the living.
Blu landed on the ground and saw Nightfly, choking Jewel.
"Oh no you don't, Nightfly", he murmured before running closer.
Present
Blu chased down his evil counterpart.
Nightfly, now recovering from the shot, returned the charge with his own energy blade.
"NIGHTFLY!", "BLU!", they yelled before impacting with each other.
Blu's sword was a match for the pure energy blade of Nightfly, being able to parry and block all strikes that Nightfly sent.
Nightfly hi rod of his sword, "Let's finish this like real warriors!", he then activated all the stones in his armor, glowing like a rainbow before yelling, "This is the end Blu! The end of your pitiful life!".
Nightfly shot a beam at Blu, who quickly put up a shield to block it.
Blu sent his vipers our to Attack Nightfly and managed to get a good bite into the villain's head.
Blu tried to get some electro venom into Nightfly, but was too late.
Nightfly used his powers to incinerate the snake heads, causing Blu to cringe in pain.
"Fuck!", yelled Blu, before he got kicked in the chest.
The force of the kick was enough to shatter his ribs and punctured his organs.
The kick sent our hero flying, his body kicking up a cloud of dust as he went along.
Blu quickly recovered, "THUNDERCLAP!", he clapped his wings and sent out his signature blue and electric shockwave.
Nightfly put up a shield before the blast hit him, allowing him to survive the attack.
Once the blast subsided, Blu instantly charged again, creating a darkness gun in his right wing.
He quickly shot the weapon at Nightfly, his shots doing little to no damage to the gold clad macaw.
Blu then sent out a mess of darkness tentacles in an effort to subdue Nightfly, but with the evil spix being super powered by the infinity stones he just punched away the tentacles.
Blu was now only feet away from his enemy, sticking his sword out, he managed to stab Nightfly's chest.
Nightfly had a face of genuine fear before he smirked.
"Blu, Alex tried that and failed. You really think this is going to work?", he grabbed Blu's sword and crushed it, sending off a huge electric explosion.
Blu was blown back by the blast, his wing taking most of the damage.
He hit the ground, stopped and then tried to nurse his wounded wing.
Nightfly chuckled as he pulled the remnants of Blu's sword from his chest, "Now Blu. Let me show you the true power of the infinity stones", he began to chant something, "Engardis, infinitus, releasun!".
The infinity stones started to glow and slowly started to explode.
The explosions attracted Jewel, Bia, Carla, the Tiagos, Magnus, Alex, Skyler, Zain and Rico to the scene.
What they saw next was truly terrifying, Nightfly exploded in a ball of rainbow energy, he began to glow, his body gaining lines of rainbow colors.
His talons grew into scythes, his beak into a beartrap, his already muscled wings grew bigger, his body grew taller, now almost 5 feet tall, and his eyes glowed red.
The infinity armor dissipated, the stones merging into one gem in the center of Nightfly's chest.
His blue feathers glowed a light gold, and his wounds healed.
"I AM GOD NIGHTFLY!", he yelled as his transformation completed.
(Dogs of War by Blues Saraceno starts to play)
He now towered over the 1 and a half foot tall Blu, who wore a face of fear, "I'm dead".
Nightfly first kicked Blu, sending our hero flying away.
Blu landed and saw Nightfly charging again, he was about to charge the evil macaw when he disappeared.
"What the?", was all Blu said before a voice came from behind him, "What is it Blu? Am I too fast?".
Blu felt a great force impact his back as Nightfly punched him forward.
Nightfly gave Blu no time to recover before he teleported in front of our hero and punched Blu, hard.
Blu was knocked back, before Nightfly sent a brutal kick to our hero's leg, snapping the bone in 2.
Blu collapsed to the ground in pain, before Nightfly punched his face.
Blu's beak was now cracked along the spine, his bones were weak, his muscles ached and his feathers were being soaked with his own blood.
Blu got up, "Time to finish this!", he yelled before covering his wing with blue and black electricity and flames.
"ELECTRIC KAMAKURA PUNCH!", Blu charged Nightfly. Sending his wing at God Nightfly's face.
God Nightfly was unimpressed with the strike, but when Blu finally impacted Nightfly a huge explosion of pure energy was sent out.
A huge cloud of dust and flames engulfed the field, killing scored of soldiers on both sides.
Bia threw up a shield around Jewel and our heroes, who covered their eyes.
When the blast dissipated Bia lowered the shield, "Nobody, could have survived that. Not even Nightfly", declared Skyler, but ehr theory was proved wrong once they looked at where Nightfly and Blu were.
The 2 combatants were in a crater, Blu's wing caught by Nightfly.
The whole gang had faces of surprise and fear, Blu himself was wide eyed but Nightfly was grinning.
"Nice job Blu. My turn", sneered Nightfly before crushing Blu's wing with immense force.
Blu screamed as his bones were reduced to splinters, Nightfly then picked Blu up by the throat.
He proceeded to slam Blu down to the ground, over and over again.
Blu's back cracked, his lungs punctured his organs.
Nightfly finally let go of, Blu, only to place his talon on our hero's chest and begin punching Blu's face repeatedly.
Blu's beak cracked more, his right eye turned purple, even his darkness healing abilities couldn't keep up or deal with this type of assault.
Nightfly then grabbed Blu's wings with his talons and rocketed into the sky.
Once about 300 feet up he stopped, he brought Blu's head close to his beak.
"Now, do me favor Blu", asked Nightfly, "You are going to die, this time be a good corpse and stay dead".
He then threw Blu down, all the way to the citadel.
Blu's body impacted one of the stone walls, crushing the wall.
Our hero fell to the ground, pieces of stone falling around him.
His body returned to it's normal state, his black feathers turning cerulean, his eyes returning to their chocolate brown state, but blood kept gushing from his wound.
He could feel life slipping from his body, he could faintly see his friends flying towards him and surrounding him.
Blu drowsily looked around, making out the tears on Jewel's face.
'Well, this is it', he thought, 'I'm going to die, again. Geez I have a really bad habit of this'.
He could make out a conversation between Alex and Skyler, "We're screwed, Nightfly's way too powerful! We can't beat him".
Blu tried to get a word in, "Yes *wheeze* we can".
Rico had a face of confusion on, "How? He made short work of you. What can we do?".
Blu propped himself up on his unbroken wing, "Fuse".
OOOHHH, final final final battle here we come.
Now, the last chapter will be much longer than the rest of thee and will take me about a weak to right, so just hang on and hope that ur heroes survive this fight.
