Guy's I'm so sorry. This is so late. I was actually expecting to be done with this chapter for a long time now, but life does not let you have things your way -.-
Anyways, here's chapter 14 (about time, I know, I know).
Not the owner of Naruto, but if I was Sakura would be kicking more ass than any other character!
She stood in the middle of a meadow surrounded with flowers' of different colors. The grass felt soft under her bare feet that conveyed a vivid green. The scattered trees were taller than any she had ever seen and their leaves seemed as if they had never seen the storm from last night. The leaves, rustling as the wind blew, held onto the ends of the branches without a thought of falling anytime soon.
She stood at awe at the scenery. It didn't look real. She felt like it was more like a perfectly drawn picture and she had the pleasure of being in it. The sight was amazing and the grass under her feet made her want to lye her whole body on it.
And she did.
She bent down so her knees could touch the floor first followed by her legs and stomach. She stretched her arms out on the grass as if she were a cat getting comfy for her nap. After her whole body touched the gentle grass she crossed her arms to lie her head on them.
It was just as she had thought. The ground was more comfortable than her bed. The ground aligned with her body perfectly as if they were meant to be together. She snuggled more with the ground, wanting for it to engulf her completely, but it didn't.
She would have laid there all day if possible, but she knew all good things came to end. So she decided to enjoy the moment and not think to much about it.
He felt tired and exhausted. He should have been asleep, but his brain would not budge. As soon as he closed his eyes they would open up again.
Maybe it was the light coming from the street, or the noises of the civilians, or the rustles of the leaves. As much as he noticed every movement and sound around him, it could not compare to the noise and movements of the one next to him. He knew that all those other things were trivial to his unbecoming sleep.
He turned to the cherry blossom next to him. He listened closely to her even breaths as they reached his chest where her head laid. She was curled up in a ball right next to him. The blanket that he had given her was long gone, nowhere to be seen. He guessed it had fallen on the floor somewhere. Both her hands settled on his stomach, holding on to his shirt.
At times he felt her tug herself closer to him. At those times he desired to wrap his hands around her, but he always stopped himself. He had to keep control.
It was soon, however, becoming unbearable! Her body so close to his and him not being able to lay a hand on her. He didn't mean to pervert his thoughts of her, but he couldn't sustain it. A women in a bed with a man, a women who said man had feelings for, was surely to think thoughts that were unacceptable. But what could he do!?
Yamato hated himself. As much as he attempted to sooth his mind, it wouldn't stop. He reminded himself that it was thanks to him she was who she was.
That was no consultation either.
His mind traveled back to the images of them together in bed. Her first time with him, where she looked so shy and vulnerable. He knew it was disgusting for him to have that as a pleasant thought, when, in fact, it had been their downfall.
He turned to her again, noticing every detail of her face from her pale skin and pink messy hair to her dry lips and slightly big forehead. She looked beautiful. And Yamato knew, that no matter what condition she was in, he would always see her as perfect.
Something was wrong with him. He must have had a major head injury for thinking about a girl so young, who had been his former student, as someone he would love to be with forever.
He was going crazy.
Sakura stirred and began to moved her legs out from her curled body stretching them out. Her hands moved away from him and did the same. Her emerald eyes began to open, awakening from her sleep. Yamato watched in silence at her beauty and to any small stutter that came.
Yamato was right. As soon as she gained conscience she froze. Her eyes moved around the room knowing that this wasn't her room. They fell upon him, laying not to far from her. His eyes remained on her even once they met him.
She, with what seemed like a forced smile and a red face, began speaking. "Good morning."
"Good morning." He replied back with an awkward smile.
She had awakened on his bed! She could barley remember last night's events, but she knew that she had left the sofa at some point. Her face began to heat up when she had realized that she had slept with him in his bed. She tried giving a smile, but it came out all wrong. She said good morning without even knowing whether it was morning. When he greeted back with the same thing she was glad that she had not made a mistake.
"Sorry for taking up your bed." She said.
"Don't apologize. I was the one that told you to come and sleep on the bed in the first place."
She thought about that. Had he told her to stay? She didn't remember and even if she did it wouldn't make it any less embarrassing.
She wanted to slap herself for making such a big deal out of something so small. They had already been together, what they did last night was child's play.
Her remark should have made her more at ease, but it only lead to a more colored Sakura. She was embarrassed, so embarrassed. She quickly covered her face with her hands.
"Are you okay?" Yamato asked, worry in his voice.
She lifted her head a fraction from her hands. "Sorry, its just...I'm acting stupid, don't worry about it."
Yamato didn't know what to do now. Was she worried something happened while she was sleeping?
He could assure her that nothing had occurred.
"If your worried about last night, nothing happened."
This time Sakura lifted her head up completely. This was not at all what she was thinking.
"No, its not like that. I'm just..." She was just what exactly? She felt embarrassed for sleeping with him, but why? As he said nothing happened.
He gave her a fake small smile, "There's no need to explain anything to me."
His emotions were masked, but there was a pain in his voice that could no be missed.
"Let's not continue yesterday's events. We finally came to an agreement and I would like it to stay that way." Her voice was stern, showing him that she was not going back on her words; that she did not see him as a threat.
To assure him she held his hands with hers, giving him a confident smile that held no regret. He slowly did the same. It was time to let the past be the past, but how long would that last?
She had finally arrived home, a happy sight! Or so she thought...
Her home was a mess. She knew she hadn't cleaned the house for a while now, but she hadn't realized it had become this dirty! She looked around wondering where she would begin.
Her bedroom was scattered with clothes on her floor. Her bed had not been made and she needed to do laundry. Her living room needed some tidying and the table needed to be dusted off.
The worst part of all was her kitchen. The counter had sauces on them, the walls were splattered with something orange, and to top it all the sink was filled with dishes. She didn't even want to think what her refrigerator looked like.
Honestly, how she had let this go out of hand was beyond her. Now she had to pay. Well, she and her blond friend who decided the perfect day to come and visit.
Sakura gave an evil smirk before slowly washing the dishes and waiting for her company to arrive.
Tsunade had a problem. She needed two capable ninjas to do an escort mission. She had wanted to put a low level genin team seeing how there were no signs of danger for the voyage.
The client, however, was in short words, a dumbass! The future male heir of a not-so-well-known clan wanted the "outermost protection that could be offered". Tsunade scoffed at his words. If only he was as great as he thought.
She would have easily reclined seeing as bumping the mission to a higher rank would be stupid, but the client had money, a lot of money. And no matter where you went money talked.
Being given a good pay she only wanted to send two jonins to escort the man. But the only problem was that they were in low supply at the moment. With many of them already out on missions, others in Suna to keep the peace, and some in Konoha keeping guard, there were only a couple left.
They being just Kakashi and Yamato.
This was bad. With her last encounter with the Copy-nin she was sure that he wouldn't like to work with Yamato, but nothing could be done. She just hoped that she wouldn't hear about it later.
Tsunade called one of the masked man standing behind her door to come in. Handing him two scrolls she commanded, "Give them to Kakashi and Yamato. Tell them to be at my office immediately." At that the masked man left.
Tsunade feeling a headache coming took out a bottle of sake she had been hiding from Shizune. For the first time she was glad that Kakashi was never punctual.
"Ugh! I can't believe that you greet me with such a dirty house and then make me clean it! Sakura I swear you'll regret this!"
Ino had been yelling the same thing for the last hour. Sakura had stopped listening after the first five minutes. She knew it was rude to have a guest come and help clean ones house, but she needed it. And it was Ino. She was certain that under that same circumstances Ino would have done the same. With that thought she felt no guilt of her actions.
"Stop complaining and help me put the clothes away." They had gone to the laundry and finished rather quickly. If she had gone herself she wouldn't have been done today.
"Who does this!" Ino continued, "Next time I don't plan on visiting you!"
Sakura, exasperated, replied, "I'm sorry, but I needed help and as a good friend I thought you would be willing to HELP ME!"
Ino gave her one of her signature glares. "Ok, ok, its just that a warning would have been nice. I came here with a gorgeous dress thinking we were going out but as it turns out I should have worn a maids outfit."
The idea of Ino as a maid cracked Sakura up, she couldn't help but laugh at Ino's face. Ino snickered at her knowing full well what was on her mind.
"If you want me to stay and help stop laughing!" Sakura did as told. She couldn't let her only helper leave.
Once they finally finished Ino plumped herself on Sakura's sofa to rest. Sakura wished to do the same but went to the kitchen to get Ino and herself a lemonade. She handed Ino her cup and sat down with hers. They took a drink and as soon as Ino had taken her sip she began speaking again.
"So Forehead how have you been?"
"I've been well. How about you and Shikamaru? How was you honeymoon?" Sakura had almost forgotten that they had left to enjoy their days as firstly wed couples do. She was sure Ino would have talked about it whether she brought up the topic or not.
With joy in her eyes Ino exclaimed, "It was great! Shikamaru had it all planned; he wouldn't even tell me where we were going. For a moment I thought he was lying or that he was taking me to a dump! But that place was perfect. We were near the sea. The house his family owned was small but had a perfect view of the sunset and sunrise. It was gorgeous."
Sakura listened with care, glad that Ino was happy. She had deserved it and so had Shikamaru.
"It was wonderful, I wish we could do it again!" Ino "yeeped" remembering those days, "You wouldn't believe how wonderful it was having our first night together as newly wed. It felt so different, so good." She looked at Sakura, her blue orbs only remembering her night with Shikamaru.
Sakura, although happy with her friends experience at her honeymoon, didn't want to to know about the couples physical attraction. Ino, however, didn't see how uncomfortable Sakura was.
"He was perfect and tender. His kisses were so gentle and soft." Sakura closed her eyes. She really didn't want to hear anymore, but cutting her off when she sounded so happy felt wrong. "It felt amazing as he kissed me all over and ..." She didn't listen to the rest because her mind went off.
He was on top of her, forcefully kissing her. His lips trailed harshly down her jawline to her neck. She tried to push him away, but something was stopping her. She kept telling him to stop, but her voice wouldn't come out. He lowered himself one hand fumbling her breast and his other moving to her abdomen down her stomach to her panties. She tried to yell and push him off, but she was too weak. His fingers went underneath her panties preparing to go inside her.
Stop, stop, stop! She needed to get out, but her voice wasn't audible.
One finger slid inside diving deep within her. It hurt like hell. Stop! He let another go inside.
His tongue began licking the tip of her nipples letting small whimpers come out of her. He laughed from below, an evil malicious one. He rose from where his tongue had previously licked and scanned her whole body. To him she was a piece of meat ready to be devoured.
Underneath she could feel something stiff touching her thighs. She knew what it was. Tears formed down her face, knowing that it would happen again. His lips lowered softly biting her lower lip and then kissing her more intently. Once again he trailed kisses down her neck, this time not stooping and going all the way down to her sex. She didn't want him near her! She pushed him away, this time managing to pull her strength together.
He was angry, enraged. His fist smashed her face leaving a purple bruise on her cheek. Tears began to roll on her face, but not to the pain. She had become used to the beat downs that arrived every night. Her cries were more of being and feeling helpless.
No longer wanting foreplay, he took his pants off thrusting himself inside of her mercilessly. She cried louder for him to sop, but her screams were unheard. He held on to her hips with a hard grip, making sure not to let her go. He moved fast, not letting her get accustomed to him. She cried for him to stop over and over again until he came. Her tears didn't die down and softly she laid in her pillow, still begging for this to stop.
Her checks felt wet. She hadn't realized that tears had begun to fall. She quickly dried away her tears with her hands, but it was too late.
"Sakura, what's wrong?" Sakura opened her eyes, forgetting she had closed them in the first place. She looked at Ino, who looked at her back with confusion and weariness.
"It's nothing." She replied, wanting to make it seem like nothing occurred.
"Sakura," her voice was soft as she inclined closer and hugged her dear friend. "Tell me what's hurting you. I can help."
She couldn't. She wouldn't reveal to her friend all the pain she felt. She didn't know if it was because she wasn't prepared or because she just would never speak about it. For right now, she didn't have the strength, just like she didn't have the strength before.
It hurt not being able to speak. It killed continuing with the nightmares she had thought she would forget! She was dying with all these things boiled up inside her! She wanted it to end, but when would it end?
Ino had begun to stroke Sakura's short pink hair when she hadn't answered her question, but stared sobbing in her arms.
Yamato was standing in the Hokage's office for a while now. He had been called a short while after Sakura had left. He didn't know what he was waiting for exactly, but he didn't dare ask the Hokage in front of him as her foul mood would most likely be brought upon the first person to converse with her. Instead he waited patiently until she called him.
His wait soon ended when a white-haired man came through the window, greeting the Hokage and not even batting an eye to the other person in the room.
"About time you arrived Kakashi! Late as always." The Hokage scolded.
Kakashi said one of his many excuses for being tardy, but the blond women wouldn't take it. Instead she called for Yamato to get closer to her desk until he was right next to Kakashi.
Yamato heard the small snicker Kakashi gave under his breath. Tsunade heard it as well, but paid no attention to it.
"I have called both of you hear because I have mission for the two of you. It's an easy escort mission so there should be no problem."
Kakashi nodded at her, but defiance was in his eyes. He had been trying to stay as far away from the man next to him. Now he had to spent the next couple of days with him! Someone was surly mocking him up in the heavens.
Yamato also gave a nod, but inside he knew that this mission could turn into turmoil at any moment.
Again I'm apologizing for the long wait and I'm very sorry. But thanks to summer I am off from school and will be able to write more and have more updates (hopefully, cross mine/your fingers).
Reviews and any comments are accepted. They are create motivations when I feel like I should stop and go to sleep. Oh and just for helping me out, I have a question; so we all know that Sakura's hiding something and for all of those who couldn't tell, I apologize for spoiling it. Anyway, my question is who should she tell first? Kakashi, Yamato, or should she not say at all? I had my own plans but now that I think it through I don't know anymore -.-
Thanks for reading and for the help!
