I really hope you guys don't hate me for being gone for so long. I've just been thinking about where I'm going to go with this story and I think I've finally decided the direction. All of you have been so awesome with your reviews, giving me such beautiful compliments on this fic. Thank you guys so much.
So I was doing a bit of research for this chapter and found out that Jack might have been 14, not 16….yeah, I was just totally guessing the ages. But I'm sticking with him being 16, and that's that. ^_^

Disclaimer: I do not own Rise of the Guardians in any way. I just own Genie.
When I was younger, I use the hate the 'rapid butterfly' movement in your stomach when you'd fall or when you were going extremely fast, like on a roller coaster. But now that I'm older, I absolutely loved it.
As soon as the hole closed up, I put my hands in the air to enjoy the ride; my luggage far ahead of me. Way way far ahead, I could see Bunny 'tunnel surfing' on top of one. Effortlessly, he glided side to side, enjoying the rush as much as me.
It ended too soon when we came to the end of the tunnel. I was launched slightly into the air and skidded to a rough halt on my hip.
"Ow!" I rolled onto my back. "Horrible landing, giving myself 3 out of 10." Bunny had already gotten my luggage up right when he came to my aid.
"Sorry lass, should have warned ya about the end." He put his paw out for me to grab. "And I give you a 5."
"You're so generous. I'll do better on my next landing." I grabbed onto his paw to pull myself up. I brushed off the dirt when I suddenly felt a dull sting right where I landed on. I pulled my shirt up and lowered the hem of my jeans slightly to see a small cut right on my hip bone. "Oh, would you look at that? Do you have some water?"
"Over here. This gives me a chance to give you a fast tour." Bunny was able to grab all of my bags and lift them up onto his shoulders. I can't help but be amazed at how strong he is.
This place is beautiful. So many hills and grass and flowers, I can feel my inner flower girly girl wanting to come out and romp around the fields. It kind of reminded me of that movie where that nun lady is singing ….Sound of something.
Putting that aside, we came to a path lined with flowers that looked a lot like tulips.
"Try not to hit one of them." I wasn't really paying attention to the way I was walking. I must have hit one cause next thing I know, a bunch of the flowers stood straight up and pointed at me.
Shit, what did I do?
Before anything could be said, all of the flowers puffed out some kind of smog that clouded my vision. I started to freak out a bit on the inside. I can't see anything except is….wait, is this colors? All I see is clouds of colors.
Wow, I'm surrounded by colors.
"Pretty!" Whoa, that's something Sophie would say. I stood in the cloud just admiring how all the colors blended together to form new ones that didn't even have names. It was all so captivating.
Eventually the cloud cleared away; so I could now see Bunny smirking at me.
"Nice pants." He remarked at me. Looking down, I noticed that the color had stained my jeans to where it now looked like a rainbow.
"Hey, not bad. Maybe I'll do this to all of my jeans." I twirled around in excitement, something almost every girl does when she wears a new fashion statement.
"Just to let you know, the color won't come out."
"I can deal with that." We just laughed off the incident and continued our way down to the river.
I have to say that I'm glad I finally get some time to hang out with Bunny. Last time this happened, I fell asleep on him. I wonder if he'll let me do that again.
He's pretty tall, about 6 and a half feet or so; a heck of a lot taller than me. At first glance, his fur looks like different shades of gray but seeing it closer, it looks more like gray with a mixture of dark blue. The bright sunshine in his warren really brings it out nicely. And his eyes are a pretty bright green. I love it.
While studying him, we had come up to the river. His voice brought me out of my daze.
"There are two rivers here, the clear one for drinking and such; and the colored one for painting my eggs. I'm sure you'll be able to distinguish between the two."
"We'll find out." I kneeled down by the clear river, lifted up my shirt, and started to clean my small wound. It'll heal quickly as long as it is kept clean.
"Right over here is where you'll be staying." He pointed to the right of the river towards a small cottage home, built from some trees. "I just built it."
"Wait, you just built it...for me?"
"Aye lass, I don't get much sleep so I just usually crash underneath a tree. I figured you'd feel a bit more comfy in that." I couldn't' help my excitement from hearing that. I sprang up onto my feet and ran for the cottage.
It's hard for me to describe. It literally was just a house of wood, and the inside had the small essentials. It had a mattress on top of some grass on the floor; there were a few blankets on the mattress as well; a table with two chairs, and a small tub. It had no faucet so I'll have to make trips to the river to get some water.
Due to Bunny mainly leaving in the open field, this was quite amazing. And how sweet of him to take the time to do all this.
"Isn't she a beaut?" I nodded vigorously. "Make yourself at home lass." He placed my luggage right next to my bed. "I have to head out for a bit. But you'll be safe here. Oh, and there's a lavatory outside if you need it. "
"Thanks again Bunny." I turned towards him to give him a giant hug. "Good luck with whatever you're doing." He gave me a pat on the head before heading out.
I waited a few minutes to make sure it was safe to start reading the books North gave me. Let's start with Jack's.
I opened one of my giant luggage's that held the book. It was right next to my bag of pads that hid Pitch's book, I wonder how long it will take North to figure out I took the book to.
I looked up towards the sky. "You're not gonna tell him, are you?" Yes, I talked to the Man in Moon, hoping I'd get a response. I heard nothing so I will, for now, assume I'm safe.
Getting all comfy on top of the mattress with the blanket wrapped around my waist, I opened the front cover and came to the first page.
The story of Jack Frost
Guardian of Fun
"'Guardian of Fun? Oh, I hope this will be fun to read."
Dang it, I miss her already. And it's only been a few hours. It's amazing how having a crush on a girl will make you go crazy.
Things were a lot easier when I just watched her from afar.
I did use to wonder what it would be like to actually be close to her, talk to her, and especially touch her.
I had followed her when she went away for college, being sure to keep out of 'sight' when I watched her. That was something I normally didn't worry about but there was something different about her. Good thing I listened to my gut instinct.
After hearing all that out loud, I sound like a total stalker. Let's face it Jack, you're nuts for the girl. And I'm not afraid to admit it. If only I could tell her, then maybe she wouldn't get mad at me all the time for following her.
Well, since I'm not allowed to go near her for a while, I'll do the next best thing: go talk to Jaime. Maybe he'll be able to cheer me up a bit.
It didn't take me long to get to his house. While I was hoping for the cheerful kid to be running around his backyard playing with the greyhound that almost tore up Bunny, I got the exact opposite. He seemed to be moping on the steps of his backyard, holding a picture frame to his chest.
Poor kid is missing his sister.
"Hey bud." I landed softly in front of him.
"Jack!" He jumped up into my arms and immediately started to cry onto my shoulder.
"Whoa. I've never seen you like this before." Play it cool Jack, don't give away anything.
"It's Genie."
"Your sister?" I placed him back down onto the steps and took a seat next to him. "I haven't seen her in a while, now that you mention it. How is she doing?" God, this is killing me. I wish I could tell him that she's doing alright and that we're doing everything we can to protect her.
I wonder how he would react if I told him that I liked her too. Would he be the over protective kind of brother that wouldn't let anyone near her? Or would he accept me just because he's my friend and he knows I would protect her.
"She left for Petersburg a few days ago. And she hasn't written or called or email mom or dad. She would always at least write me to so I could have her new address. She might need something, like her favorite food. Do you know what they have out there to eat?"
"Whoa bud, calm down." I put my arm around his shoulder and pulled him close to me; he really needs this comfort. If Jamie is feeling this bad, I can only imagine how Sophie must be feeling. I also wonder how the parents are dealing with this.
Since Jaime was leaning on me, I am able to get a good look at the picture he was holding, the date showed that it was taken just a few days before Christmas. I forgot, they always take Christmas photos each year.
It showed all three of the kids. Genie, dressed in a strapless red dress with a black buckle belt around her waist, green stockings and black heeled boots, was sitting on the stairs in her house; her legs were pushed together by Jamie and Sophie on her sides, with their heads lying on her thighs.
Wow, she looked so sexy.
Man, she must have been freezing in the dress. I can see the snow around them.
Sophie was pretty much dressed the same way, except her dress was more appropriate for a girl her age. It had bright red and white sleeves attached to the dress also. Jamie was dressed in a bright red blazer and green colored slacks with black dress shoes on.
"I just want to know if she's ok."
"I get what you're saying buddy. And I'm sure she's fine. She's a big girl who can take care of herself."
"Hey Jack, you can travel around the world, right?" His face went from a frown to a smile with that question. I don't like where this is going.
"Um….yes." I was super hesitant to answer that. I know what's coming next.
"Can you fly to Petersburg?" Oh geez, now I got to deal with this. He knows it's super hard for me to say 'no' to him. I was getting ready to make up something when I sensed something dark nearby.
Pitch is here.
Petersburg? Is there where she is? Didn't I check there a while ago? I can't remember. You been to one famous city, you've been to them all. I've roamed this earth since before the Dark Ages. Everything looks the same to me.
So nice of the boy to give away his sister's location. I really must be paying her a visit in person soon. Dreams are fun but they eventually end.
Now just to decide what to do, go on my own or follow Jack? Jack would most certainly accommodate this boy's request.
I roamed around Genie's empty room. Oddly enough, it gave me a sense of…peace. I can still sense her presence here.
"I won't be going, if that's what you're hoping for." Jack climbed in from the window. Brings back memories of when he came to take her away from me that first night.
"Jack, how are you?" I don't really care.
"I had a feeling you'd be spying on Jaime." He pointed the tip of his staff at me; I guess he's ready to attack. Lucky for him, I don't feel like getting my hands dirty today.
"And I'll say it again; I will not be going to Petersburg."
"Really? That's a bit of a shock." I strolled closer to him. His staff was now right against my chest. "That boy practically has you wrapped around his finger; I was for sure you'd say yes. You know, if you come with me, we can find her together. I saw that little glint in your eyes when you look at her."
I saw his stiffen a little. Poor young boy. He doesn't stand a chance.
"What does it matter to you?" He pulled the staff away from my chest. "You know where she is now. Go find her and stay away from Jaime and Sophie."
"Jack, you don't stand a chance with her. I mean, look at you, forever stuck as a 16 year old boy. Why would she want a boy when she can be with a man?"
"Oh, you mean an old man."
"Remember, with age comes experience." I sat down on top of her bed. "I can do things to her that you can't even imagine."
"Stop talking about her that way." I can see some red coming onto his pale white cheeks. He's feeling flustered.
"You must think it too Jack. I admit, you probably knew her longer than I have. You like her; you want her all to yourself."
"Stop it." His breathing is speeding up. I'm enjoying this so much. He's getting angry.
"If it was up to you, I bet you would have kidnapped her long ago; locked her up in some unknown place and have your way with her. It sounds so exhilarating, doesn't it? Just think what it would be like to be the only one in the world to hear her moans and screams of want. What it would be like see the faces she makes as you slam into her mercilessly. Her hands cling to you, her nails digging into your back and she asks for more."
All this was getting me turned on; I can only imagine what it does to a boy forever stuck at the age of peak of his sexual puberty.
He's sitting at the edge of the window, holding his head in his hands, trying to wipe away the memories I gave him. I smirked as I lifted myself up from her bed and headed over to him.
"Help me find her Jack, and I might share her with you after I'm done." That's a completely lie. I want her all to myself.
With that said, He looked up to my face and gave me the meanest glare he could muster. Kind of hard to do when you're aroused.
"You will never find her. I won't let you."
Thank you guys for reading and for being patient with me. I really hope you enjoy this chapter.
I promise, I will try to upload this as much as possible. I don't know if I said this before but I'll still say it, it sucks to be an adult.
Please leave a review; it really helps to inspire me.
