A/N Decided on skipping most of Task Force X as we couldn't think of any villain to add to the group and all but the last few minutes of the episode would be canon, so we added the ending to The Balance.

Chapter LII: The Balance.

Last Time.

"You just passed judgement on a criminal without Supergirl or I there! And you tried to lobotomize him!" Wonder Woman's eyes widened at that. "By the look on Diana's face, you didn't tell them about that either. You know, secretly I have been a little worried that the League would follow the same route as the Lords."

Naruto said walking out the door, not even glancing towards Wonder Woman's way. "And with what just happened on that island, and you leaving me out of that farce of a sentencing... I'm more afraid than ever. But if things do go the same way, I won't hesitate in following my counterpart's choices as well."

Naruto left and saw Shayera about to walk in. "Naruto-" She stopped as he raised both of his hands and just walked past her. "Save it."

Supergirl followed Naruto but stopped seeing a man in armor go to the Med Bay. He's wearing white armor, the helmet has a white spike in the front and two yellow spikes in the back, surrounded by purple stripes.

He has a yellow shield on the left shoulder. A purple dragon head covers the left arm above his hand while a sabretooth tiger is on his right. And a long cape is flowing behind him.

"Omniman? You OK?" Omniman nodded at that. "Yeah, just some bruised ribs." He replied going inside. Supergirl shrugged before going after Naruto.

Now.

Watchtower Early Morning.

Kage walked out of the locker room before seeing a man with short black hair and moustache walk into an elevator with a woman with short red hair, both wearing the worker's overalls.

Naruto jumped over and held the door open as it started to close. "Hey." Naruto greeted turning around and pressed a button. Missing the nervous looks from the two workers. "Hey, Kage, my wife's been hounding me for Hawkgirl's autograph. Do you know where she is?"

"On a mission, she should be back later today so look for her before you leave." Naruto replied before the elevator stopped on his floor. He walked out missing the relief come over the duo.

A few moments later, Naruto was walking to the main lobby before the Watchtower shook and power went out for a second. "We got a leak in the reactor!" Naruto looked up to J'onn before jumping up several platforms and reached a microphone. "Attention all personnel! Evacuate the Watchtower! Get to the Javelins in the hangar or make your way to the teleporters!"

"We have a reactor leak." As the personnel ran to either point of evacuation, Naruto operated the teleporter as J'onn directed them or heroes that can help them escape as Captain Atom flew to contain the leak.

"Guys! I'm in the reactor, but this wasn't an accident!" Atom said from the reactor as a video came up showing burn marks over the reactor. Another few minutes went by before Atom Smasher crashed inside with the two workers Naruto talked to, and two more men; one with muttonchops and another muscular one with brown hair.

Naruto's eyes widened seeing the Annihilator armour. "Son of a bitch." He cursed before jumping down and landed in a rough. "You really should have come here when I wasn't on duty." Naruto said going into his cloak form. "But this was when the Watchtower was at its weakest." The woman said getting Naruto to stumble as he took a step.

"WHAT?! Who ever told you that is one egg short of a carton! Wh-!" Naruto stopped as he was punched by the Annihilator and sent flying to the other side of the room. He groaned as he saw stars before seeing the woman hold an explosive disk over Atom Smasher's mouth.

He sped over just as Captain Atom grabbed her and one of the other men shot the disk just as they teleported.

BOOM!

The disk exploded sending all three to the ground. Naruto slowly got up before looking down at the badly injured woman under Captain Atom. Naruto touched her before his glasses beeped. Hitting a button his eyes widened before picking her up bridal style and took her down the hall to the science lab.

Inside, Naruto saw the Atom working on something before speaking. "Ray!" Atom turned and saw Naruto place a woman on a table. "She has nanobots littered in her bloodstream. And she was with a group with Captain Boomerang stealing the Annihilator armour."

Unknown Location.

The group that stole the Annihilator along with a balding man in a brown suit looking at a pocket watch sat in a room before Amanda Waller and Tala walked in.

Tala is now wearing a dark blue dress with a slit on her right leg and barefooted.

"You really think we can do something with this?" Amanda asked Tala who looked at the boxes that littered the room. "An unstoppable juggernaut forged by the gods? Oh yes, Miss Waller. Definitely, yes." Tala replied as they stopped in front of the Annihilator . "I heard we lost Plastique?"

"Yes ma'am, you'll have my full report at 0800." Flagg replied having her nod. "Right, that'll be all." Amanda said as Flagg started to leave. "And Rick..." Rick stopped to look at her. "You're a good soldier, your father would be proud." Rick nodded before leaving outside with the others.

Floyd shrugged before speaking. "Most fun I had since my last root canal. I'll see you late-oof!" He started to leave before Rick punched him in the stomach and knocked him down. "Five years, Lawton. That's how long you signed up for. Then, if you survive, you'll be free to leave."

"If you don't like it, your seat in Belle Reve is waiting for you." Floyd just stared at him before speaking. "What does Waller have on you, Flagg?" Rick just folded his arms behind his back before replying. "Nothing. Some of us don't need to be blackmailed to serve our Country."

Watchtower.

Kage stood with J'onn and Green Lantern as they looked at a blonde man in the interrogation room. "How did you know Vance was the inside man?" Green Lantern asked J'onn who stared at Vance. "He's the only person who's mind I can't read. Cadmus must have given him a method of masking hs thoughts."

"What do we do with him now? Outside of firing him?" Naruto asked arms crossed. "I'd like to erase the last two years of his memory here." Green Lantern looked surprised at that before speaking. "A little harsh don't you think?" Naruto moved from the wall and to the door as they continued their discussion.

"I'm sure he told Cadmus everything he knows already." Naruto said as he opened the door. "But we can't trust him!" J'onn said as they exited the room. "J'onn... We can't trust anyone now." Green Lantern said as they looked at the workers walking the halls.

A Week Later, Unknown Location.

Tala was working on a potion in a dungeon-like room. A mirror behind her glowed as Felix Faust's face came up on it. "That's never going to work." He said as she poured a green liquid into a large beaker. "When did the Greeks ever use that in their potions?" Tala looked back to him before speaking.

"Good thing I'm not making a potion, but a counter potion, remember?" She asked putting powder into the potion, having it explode before walking to a tarp in the middle of the room. Pulling it, she revealed the Annihilator and put the counter potion in front of it.

"And you actually think that pathetic contraption will be enough to remove the Annihilator's weakness?" Felix asked as she sighed. "Shhh, be quiet Felix. I am trying to concentrate." She said raising her hands. "Tala, you've come a long ways since my untimely demise."

"But the student, no matter how gifted, still has much to learn." Felix said as Tala smirked. "Maybe she would if we focused more on curriculum and a little less time on-!"

Boom!

The counter potion exploded as Felix smirk. "And this from the woman who braved Tartarus to get my mortal remains?" He taunted having her walk to the mirror. "Right, and I'm supposed to take advice from you. Why? Without my spell, your spirit would have poof."

She said pretending to blow dust off of her hand. "Lost to the winds." Felix narrowed his eyes at that. "Yes, so very kind of you to trap me in this mirror for all eternity." She shrugged at that. "Beats the alternative." Felix smiled at that before speaking. "Fair enough."

"Still, hard to believe you can't solve your own Annihilator problem. The answer is simplicity itself." She turned to look at him. "Are you going to tell me?" She asked as Felix sighed. "Repeat after me." He told her a spell having her chant a before the Annihilator glowed green.

Felix appeared out of the mirror in smoke before Tala was sucked inside the mirror and Felix went into the Annihilator and had his face replace the face mask. He walked out as Tala pounded against her side of the mirror.

Watchtower Cafeteria.

"This was a great idea, Wally. I can't remember the last time we've had a minute to catch up." Wonder Woman said while walking with Flash to a four person table where Kage was eating a burger. "Still not ramen, but it'll do." He said before Wally spoke. "Mostly my fault. Been busy in Central City."

"And I want to hear all about it, I've seen the news, but it's not the same..." Wonder Woman trailed off picking up her fork. Naruto blinked before looking to his left and saw Shayera standing beside him. "I'm sorry, I thought we were having dinner here." Flash looked to see that Naruto disappeared before speaking.

"Is it Tuesday?! Silly me, making dinner plans with two beautiful women on the same night." Wonder Woman deadpanned at him as Shayera moved to walk away. Only for Flash to stand and grab her by the arm. "Don't be ridiculous, we can all have a meal together."

He moved her to sit as well before sitting down. An uncomfortable silence came over the group before Flash broke it. "Once we clear the air, we can all be pals again. Ya know, I always thought the reason you two don't get along was because you two were a lot alike."

"Me like her?!" The two women spoke at the same time before they quieted down once more. "You guys aren't even trying! At least Naruto-" Flash stopped as Wonder Woman got up to walk away, followed by Shayera. Flash stood to stop them only to see the heroes staring. "Okay, okay, go back to your meals everyone."

Naruto said walking over and patted Flash on the back. "It only looks bad for now, they still need time." He said before walking after Wonder Woman. Going through the infirmary, Naruto saw Jason Blood going back and forth between his transformation on a table. As well as Dr. Fate and Zatanna strapped to separate tables muttering and thrashing.

He walked into Wonder Woman's room before seeing a flash disappear beside her. "Who was that?" Naruto asked her as he stood at the door. "Hermes, the gods want me to help Hades get his throne back. Felix Faust is back and has taken over Tartarus." Naruto blinked at that. "How the hell did he-"

"He's in the Annihilator armour." Naruto groaned at that before seeing she was gone. Naruto dashed down the hall and saw her enter Shayera's room before Shayera walked to the door. "Stealing now, Princess?" She asked Wonder Woman who's holding her mace as Naruto stayed quiet. "Look, I need it. I'll bring it back, I promise."

"Did we become pals when I wasn't looking?" Shayera asked Wonder Woman who sighed. "There's trouble on Themyscira. mystical trouble. Your mace disrupts magic, so I thought-!" She was interrupted by Shayera. "Whatever's happening on that island must be bad." She said as Wonder Woman walked to her.

"So, can I use it?" Shayera shook her head. "No. It's a packaged deal. You want my mace, you get me as well." They walked out of the room, having Naruto sigh. "Great. Going to where suffering is, and then going to hell. Where's John Constantine when you need him?"

Themyscira.

After an uncomfortable flight to the island, Naruto saw Hippolyta and the Amazons fight Demons back into the door of Tartarus before they ran over. "Diana! You know you're not allowed here, the gods-!" She was interrupted by Naruto who walked to the door. "Zeus wants her to fight this, so the ban has been lifted."

He walked to the door, going into his cloak before punching a demon inside and jumped in, followed by Wonder Woman and Shayera. "Please protect her." Hippolyta said as they locked the doors.

Inside, the trio flew over the fires and fought demons on their way to Felix. Wonder Woman went to fight Faust and leaving Hades to rot before Naruto spoke. "You want to defy Zeus? We need balance Diana, or our friends and who knows what else will suffer. Leave whatever hate for Hades aside and let's go get him."

Wonder Woman growled before turning to follow Naruto. After interrogating one demon using Wonder Woman's lasso, they went through a portal to a snow covered mountain top. "Should have brought a coat." Shayera said rubbing her arm. "Aren't you cold?" She asked Wonder Woman who was still only wearing her outfit.

"No." Shayera snorted at that. "Of course the Princess doesn't get cold. I bet you don't sweat either." Wonder Woman just stared at her. "I sweat!" Shayera rolled her eyes at that. "Please, you glow! I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't-!" Shayera stopped as they heard screaming.

Walking to the woods, they saw Hades tied to a rock with vultures pecking at him, tearing his armour. "That's enough!" Shayera said swinging at the vultures. "Did Faust send you? Did he decide the vultures weren't enough?" Hades asked before Wonder Woman spoke.

"They aren't enough, monster." She said before flying up and broke his chains. Hades fell down and rubbed his wrists. "It appears I'm in your debt, my child." Hades said as his armour repaired itself. "Zeus has us freeing your sorry ass." Naruto replied crossing his arms.

"So thank the gods, Hades. If it were up to me, I'd leave you to rot. But even here, there has to be order." Wonder Woman said before Shayera spoke. "Faust dosen't care what happens here." Hades walked to them before speaking. "No one ever appreciates your work until you're gone."

He lifted his arms as flames surrounded them, having them appear in a library with Faust looking through scrolls. And they lit everything on fire before fighting him. Hades punched him before Naruto dropped down with a Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere).

And hit him in the stomach. Felix slowly got up before grabbing Naruto and choke slammed him down before punching Hades to the burning books. Felix shot purple lasers at Shayera who flew to avoid them.

Wonder Woman flew over and hit Felix with an axe handle sending him to the floor. "Give up, Faust! I know the weakness of the armour. If we don't fight you, you'll have no power." Felix looked to her and grinned before punching her through a wall. "That was before I removed it."

Felix replied before Shayera hit him with her mace. Faust had the burning skeletons attack her before Wonder Woman ran over. But was hit and covered in wrapping. She fell before Hades blew fire at Faust and Naruto added wind jutsu to the fire. Felix shot his lasers at them, having Shayera hit him with her mace again.

The helmet and chest cracked before Felix grabbed her. And had Wonder Woman hit him with the mace having Faust fall to the ground before she stabbed the chest of the Annihilator, breaking it open. Hades grabbed Felix's now small soul and looked to the trio.

"You did well, my child." Wonder Woman narrowed her eyes at that. "Don't call me that." Hades just smiled. "What else should I call my daughter?" He asked getting her to glare. "I don't have a father. My mother sculpted me from clay and breathed life into me."

"Your mother didn't tell you? I helped her sculpt your statue." Hades said walking away. "We can find out, use your lasso." Shayera said, tears in her costume. "It doesn't matter."

Smallville, Naruto's House.

The Trio appeared in Naruto's living room before he sat down. "I'm glad you two have made up." Naruto said as they talked for a few hours. "I would like to start anew with Shayera, if that's possible." Naruto said missing the smirks both women had. "We should probably talk to the others-!"

He stopped as they pulled him towards the stairs. He watched both swaying hips with Shayera's pants ripped, showing dark blue panties.

Morning.

Naruto groaned awake between the nude forms of Diana and Shayera, who was sleeping on her stomach. The sheet just under her ass. "Maybe I should have called first?" Naruto stiffened before seeing Kara by the door with the others behind her. "Well, it was pretty loud in here, I probably wouldn't have heard the phone."

"You care to explain yourself?" Kara asked as Naruto sat up. "I don't know what happened. There I was, doing better than my best talking with Diana and Shayera. I decided on fixing us a snack. Then, it's all a blur." She just raised her eyebrow before sighing and spoke.

"Alright. After talking with Anko and Mei, I will give her a chance-EEP!"

Smack!

"That's the spirit!" Anko said smacking Kara on the ass before taking off her shirt. "Now, let's start this morning off with a bang!" She yelled before tackling Naruto as Barb went to Shayera and Mei went to Diana to wake them up in a fun way. At first, Kara could only look dumbfounded at the spectacle before her. Then she felt an arm wrap around her hip.

She looks to see that Barbara just arrived after giving Hunter his breakfast. "Come on, Kara. You know it's been a long time since we were all together like this. Let's just enjoy the moment before talking it out afterwards." she said with a smile.

Kara smiled at her as they began removing their clothes. As they started walking towards the growing orgy, Kara closed the door behind them.
