OK sorry this didn't go up in Feb for the Anniversary but combination of being busy, this site acting up again and weather messing with my internet kept us from working on the Ch.'s.
Also, Ultimate Spider-Man TV series won the poll, got a lot of vote in the last couple of days but I guess that's because of the Spider-Man game getting its release date and GameInformer doing a month long coverage for it.

Chapter LXIV: Reckoning In A Flash.
Last Time.
This heart within me burns.
I pass, like night, from land to land;
I have strange power of speech;
That moment that his face I see,
I know the man that must hear me;
To him my tale I teach.
After the boat got near the Sun, the Leaguers bid J'onn farewell. He takes his leave and beams down to Earth, taking on the appearance of a human male and disappears into the crowd.
Now.
Bar, Central City.
In a bar that's filled with criminals, three of Flash's Rogues were sitting in a booth complaining about making ends meet.
The first is a man in a blue furred coat and pants.
This is Captain Cold.
The next is a man in an orange body suit with green trim.
This is Mirror Master.
And the last is a crazy looking man in a multi colored suit, domino mask and pink stripes in his hair.
This is the Trickster.
"Gentlemen, we live in brutal times. Last week, to make ends meet, I was reduced to hijacking a tractor-trailer full of sports cars." Mirror Master said playing with a plastic fork.
"That is so beneath you. At least knock over a bank." Captain Cold said leaning forward.
"You gotta visualize." Trickster said looking through his hands as he finger framed Mirror Master.
"Visualize? What the heck does that mean? If I don't 'visualize' a mortgage payment soon, the wife will have me bagging groceries for a living." Captain Cold said to the deranged criminal
"She's always been an Ice Queen, that one."
The three looked to see Captain Boomerang in his costume walking up to them.
"Captain Boomerang, you old son of a wallaby." Trickster said as Captain Boomerang sat down beside Captain Cold.
Boomerang explained he got out early for 'Good Behavior' before they came up with a plan to take out the Flash at Flash Appreciation Day with him getting a museum in his honor.
The Watchtower.
Kage stood beside Batman looking at the monitors while Mr. Terrific was on a mission, Orion leaning beside the door behind them.
The Flash sped in and smiled.
"Hey guys. So… Looks like Superman, Supergirl, Power Girl, and G.L. are in a mission in Space, Wonder Woman is doing disasters."
"Why are you here?" Batman asked not looking up.
"Oh right, uh, cause it's Flash Appreciation Day. Yeah, it'll be great. I understand if everybody's too busy to come, no biggie. My parents are gonna be there. Let's see, Artemis, Kaldur, Naruto and Dick… From my Earth are flying in. Be great if at least one of the original seven made it. I mean, okay, yeah, it's the Flash Museum, but to me, the whole League deserves the honor, all of us, like I said no biggie..." He finished sighing woefully
"What time?/What time?" The two Originals asked at the same time.
"Six o'clock. Nooooo… You're really coming...? Awesome! You're a stand up guy, Bats! Don't ever let them call you a crazed loner. And thanks Naruto." Flash said before speeding off.
Orion walked up to the two leaders of the League and spoke. "I can't believe you let that buffoon manipulate you two. You'd never catch me at one of those museum openings."
Batman and Naruto just glared at him.
"It's not black tie, is it?"
Later, Central City.
Batman, Orion, Kage who had his left arm wrapped around the waist of Batgirl watched as Flash in a torn costume flew down to them, tied to a large rocket boomerang.
"Flash?" Orion asked as the others didn't blink, used to this sort of thing.
"Hey, guys, and lady."
"You're tied to a very large boomerang." Orion asked, still confused that Flash was tied to the boomerang.
"Yeah...?" Flash asked wondering why Orion looked at him in shock before jumping down. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Saw what happened, and beamed over early." Naruto asked from his spot. "I invited Batgirl as it's date night."
"Waller told me that Boomerang left Task Force X. So I did some checking. Three other villains from Central City are off the radar." Batman explained as Flash raised an eyebrow.
"Hey! Mirror Master took a shot at me too."
"Here's what we're going to do." Batman said only for the Flash to speak up.
"Listen, I need to go home and change before the opening tonight."
"We're coming with you." Batman replied.
"You really don't have to."
"We're coming... With you."
"(Sigh.) OK! You guys are so slow!"
"Why did you bring me again?" Batgirl asked as Naruto hit a button having his Tomahawk drive to them.
"Here on business, and it is date night for us. Plus we won't have much time with you retiring as Batgirl."
"Gonna miss me in the field?"
"Miss that latex body suit is more like it." Naruto replied before choking as Batgirl put him in a headlock. "OK, OK!" She then let him go. "Man do you and the others mud wrestle while I'm not home?"
Flash's Apartment.
The five Leaguers appeared in Flash's small apartment as Orion looked around.
"This is where you live?"
"Isn't it great?" Flash asked putting a large gold key against a dresser. "Low maintenance fees, and there's a laundry room on the same floor."
Orion looked to him and put his hands on his waist,
fitting one of Flash's cardboard cutouts from when he was promoting his candy bar. "With the way you talked I thought the city would have built you a-!" He stopped as the cut out started talking, ad punched it after getting startled.
"Dude! That was my last standee." Flash said getting Orion to apologize as Flash went to his dresser and opened the top drawer. Revealing it had countless gold rings with his logo on them. Picking one up, he held it out as another suit came out before he spun around to change.
"Cool, huh? The hard part's getting them back in the ring."
"Take these attacks on your life more seriously." Batman said closing the door.
"It's just Mirror Master and Captain Koala!"
"Not just them, Captain Cold and the Trickster." Naruto spoke up. "All four with an axe to grind against you that's teamed up."
"I'll just round them up later, they hand out in this hole in the wall on 4th street." Flash said as he walked out.
"Why doesn't he take this seriously?"
Naruto looked to his bat themed fiance before he started walking out as well.
"There's a reason the Lord's turned into dictators when their Wally was killed. So ask yourself this: Why was that?"
Bar.
The five heroes walked into the bar having all but the Trickster, who was talking to himself run out.
"I mean what's so special about a "disco of death?" Heck with 'em! I'm an artist! They're just robbing banks. Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang... Probably would have gone for it if I was a captain..."
(Ahem!)
Flash cleared his throat getting Trickster to look up, stand, and aim a sawed off double barreled shotgun with a nose on the end at them.
BANG!
Only for Batman to knock it out of his hand having it fly to a pool table with acid coming out and melted the table.
"It's a 'Snot Gun' Ha-Ha!"
"Where are the others?" Batman asked as Naruto stood back with Batgirl.
"Those crabby hacks can go plug a hole for all I care. But I'm not about to rat 'em out!"
"Orion?"
Orion grabs the Trickster and pulled him close. "Talk, while you still have a jaw!"
Only for the Flash to get in between them, and had Trickster placed back down. "Hey hey! Would you guys please take it down a notch? Let me handle this." He said as he leads Trickster back to the bar and sits with him. "James, you're off your meds, aren't you?"
"Better off without 'em. Take 'em if I start feeling down."
"You know that's not how the medicine works. You're not well!"
"I'm fine. You wanna throw some darts?" Trickster asks getting Flash to sigh.
"No. Listen, James. You're wearing the suit again!"
"I am?" Trickster asks as he examines his clothing. "Well, whaddya know?"
"Here's the deal, buddy. Tell me where those guys went, and I'll come see you in the hospital. We'll play darts...! The soft kind."
"Okay, they're gonna ambush you at the Flash Museum."
"See? That's all we needed!" Flash said then gets up to leave with Batman, Batgirl, Naruto and Orion. "Come on, we better get over there."
"What about your enemy?" Orion asks.
"Oh, right!" Flash said before looking to the Trickster. "Dude, soon as you finish your drink, turn yourself in!"
Trickster then raised his mug. "Got me again, Flash!"
Later, Flash's Museum.
The five Leaguers were keeping watch outside as the Flash was inside with Dick, Kaldur, Naruto Y. and Artemis from his world giving autographs.
"Central City builds statues to this... fool. Who makes bad jokes, and concerns himself with pitiful men like the Trickster. I don't understand." Orion aid flying to Flash's statue.
"No... You don't." Batman said looking up at him.
They then heard screaming before running in to see Flash, and his original team and girlfriend take care of Mirror Master, Captain Cold and Boomerang before Kage Y. tied them up.
Later, the police took the criminals away as Orion turned to the Flash after talking with the news people.
"Now I understand. You play the fool to hide a warrior's pain." He said getting the speedster to shrug.
"Dude. Bad guys went down, and no one got hurt. You know what I call that? A really good day."
A Week Later, Smallville.
Naruto walked out of his office and walked down to the steps leading to the upper floors by the kitchen and living room hallway. He was bored as hell he was wondering why Minerva wanted to talk to her in private.
As he was walking down the stairs he hears her pacing back and forth repeating to herself. "You can do this. You can do this. it's Naruto he'll be okay with it right?"
Naruto was now worried about Minerva he begins to think "I hope everything is OK?"
As Naruto made his way to Minerva in the living room.
"Is everything OK my Lioness?" he says as he wraps around her waist. she is startled by Naruto that she is snapped out of her train of thought
"Naruto! Don't scare me like that!" She yells at him before she kisses him on the cheek.
Minerva starts to twiddle her thumbs. "Naruto you love me no matter what right?" She says nervously hoping he wouldn't be mad. What felt like days for Minerva was seconds for Naruto.
"The day I proposed to you was the day I swore to always love you now and forever." Minerva started to tear up and started to cry.
Naruto started to get worried and curious "Baby what's wrong? You know you could always tell right?"
As Minerva starts to tear up even more but smiles at him. "Naruto... I'm Pregnant."
Naruto was both shocked and speechless. "Are you sure…?" While he was sweating bullets, she nodded happily.
"I'm going to be a mom. And you a da-!" Just before she said another word he hugged her gently and gave her a passionate kiss.
"I love you so much thank you..."
Two Weeks Later; Himalayas, Nanda Parbat.
In a temple, an elderly monk was meditating.
This is the Master of the temple, and one of Batman's martial arts trainers.
"I know you are here, Boston Brand."
Deadman then appears. "What's the point of being a flippin' ghost if you can't even sneak up on people? For that point. What's the reason I'm still here? It's been a year since I caught the guy who killed me?"
"So, your work here is done? You are ready to pass on to the next realm?"
"I don't know what ready means, but I feel like I done my time." Deadman replied as he floated.
"And yet, here you are."
"'Here you are'? What kind of lousy wisdom is 'Here you are?'"
"If you seek knowledge, you have but to ask." The Master replied.
"I avenged my own death. Why am I still here?"
"Your destiny is to not avenge your death, your destiny is to avenge mine."
"What?" Deadman asked confused at what the Master said.
Down below at the entrance, the guard looked up to see a portal open up.
Devil Ray, Lex, Bizarro, Rampage, Atomic Skull and Tala walked out before Tala moved the portal back revealing Devil Ray's men.
"Grodd never sends us to any place nice..." Devil Ray complained before the guard walked to them.
"This humble one begs your forgiveness, but to enter this sacred place, the right must be earned."
BANG!
Devil Ray just hoots him. "Keep the change."
They then walked up to the temple where the monks surrounded them before they attacked each other.
"Bizarro, you despise me right?" Luthor asked the backwards Superman.
"Uh-huh. Bizarro hate Luthor. Me not do anything for he."
"Good-I mean, bad. Anyway, don't take care of those monks."
"No." Bizarro said before flying to fight.
Lex, and Tala walked inside the temple after Devil Ray took out the Master and came to a basketball sized gold orb.
Only for Rampage to attack them.
"Rampage, what's wrong with you?!"
"A ghost has taken her over!" Tala said after her eyes glowed. She then cast a spell forcing Deadman out of the villainess.
They then picked up the orb, having the psychic energy of all the monks go inside before leaving.
Louisiana, Legion Of Doom.
The team walked up to Grodd who took the orb as Tala wrapped her arms around his right one, explaining Grodd was the one to release her from her mirror after freeing Felix Faust.
Grodd smiled before explaining his plan of attacking Gorilla City.
Spirit Realm.
Deadman found himself staring at Rama Kushina.
"The monks have yet to pass on from this plain." She said to the ghost.
"They're just in a coma?" He asked.
"That is the close to the truth that you are able to understand, yes. You must retrieve the Heart of Nanda Parbat, or they will remain in their current state, for all time. I have Spoken!" She finished before sending Deadman back.
The Watchtower.
Kage, Superman, and Wonder Woman finished filing reports before Wonder Woman suggested they hang out as they haven't had the time to do so.
Superman and Naruto agreed, but Batman declined saying he's needed in Gotham before Superman spoke up.
"Come on, Bruce. I know a burger place in Metropolis that has the best fries on the East Coast. And the milkshakes are so thick-!" He stopped as he glowed.
"I NEED YOUR HELP!"
"That's pretty thick." Wonder Woman replied crossing her arms.
"Boston?" Naruto asked as Wonder Woman looked to him.
"You know this, ghost?"
"I helped Boston out a few months ago."
"And I helped him solve his murder." Batman said before Deadman explained why he was there. Getting Batman to walk to the table as he explained the Master was a teacher.
They walked to where Mr. Terrific was while he identified the people who attacked aside from Tala, who doesn't have a picture. They come to the conclusion that Gorilla Grodd's behind this after J'onn saw Grodd in Giganta's mind before she blacked out.
"I can feel the souls screaming, but all I get are images of Africa." Deadman said getting the thee originals to look at each other.
"Gorilla City."
Batman then went to a keyboard to call Solovar. "Solovar, this is Batman."
"What a coincidence. I was just about to call you."
"We wanted to give you a heads-up. We got reason to believe Grodd's coming your way."
"You don't say! That would explain the armies of supervillains attacking the city!"
"How bad?" Batman asked.
"Started taking over, they already got the control building. We could use some help if you have anyone."
"Gorilla City?" Deadman asked the four.
"A hidden city of talking, hyper-intelligent gorillas, with technology far beyond anything humans have developed."
"No, really!"
"You're a ghost from the Himalayas, having trouble believing this?" She shot back.
"Point."
Africa.
Kage, Deadman, Wonder Woman and Batman appeared beside the force field for Gorilla City.
"You know, when they beam down on that TV show, they never miss..." Deadman said as Wonder Woman puts a hand on the shield, having it ripple.
"We didn't miss, a force field keeping the city protected from danger, and prying eyes."
"Looks like a job for Superman!" Deadman said as he flew over and punches it several times.
"You're wasting time! Go in as a ghost. Find the central control and shut down the shield generator. We'll follow as soon as we can." Batman said getting the ghost to nod.
"Yeah, okay!" Deadman said before he leaves Superman's body.
"...You have to eat them with a spoon!" He finished his sentence before looking around. "What am I doing in Africa?"
A few minutes go by before the city shimmered into sight.
"GO!" Naruto yelled running inside with the others, fighting their way through to the center.
They fought Devil Ray's men and the Legion before Deadman floated into Wonder Woman and walked up to Devil Ray.
"You killed my teacher, my friend!" She said.
"You'll have to be more specific, lady. I've killed a lot of people." He replied as Deadman beats him to the ground, breaking his armor.
Seeing him not moving, he left having the Amazon princess look around before seeing Devil Ray knocked out.
"Next time, ask permission!"
Naruto was shooting arrows before seeing a light field pass through him turning him, as well as the other humans, into a gorilla.
"What the hell?!
"HA-HA-HA! Now you really are a monkey!"
"You know what? Just for that, I'm changing your home in there to nothing but nude men!"
"You wouldn't da-OH MY GOD!"
"HA!"
He then caught up with the others before running to see Grodd, Tala, and a fur-less Lex in the generator room. Tala then transports them away as Superman lifts the generator with the Heart of Nanda Parbat into the air and exploded before they turned back to normal
"Is everything okay?" Superman asked sitting up.
"Well, I'm sort of missing Flash's obligatory joke about how Grodd made a monkey out of us." Wonder Woman said.
"Just couldn't let it go unsaid."He asked as they stood to talk.
"Obligatory."
Naruto then turned around and shot an arrow at Devil Ray, tying him up as he walked inside.
Louisiana, Legion Of Doom.
"Since there's only one monkey left around here, I'm assuming that the Justice League found a way to stop the carrier wave." Lex aid as he sat at the table.
"There's more than one way to peel a banana. Next time-" Grodd was interrupted by Lex.
"I wasn't going to do this for another couple of weeks, but seriously... "He then rises from the table and draws a gun. "Turning all of humanity into apes?" He then aims the weapon at Grodd. "That was your master plan?!"
He then shoots Grodd, then turns to the other villains. "Listen up! From now on, I'm in charge of this operation. Anybody got a problem with that?" He asked and got silence in return.
"No problem at all... Baby." Tala said, leaning into Lex as she walked to him.
Night; Smallville, Naruto's House.
As Naruto came down the stairs he looks over to see his lovely, now pregnant girlfriend sitting on the back porch outside watching the stars shine down on the home.
"You know if you wish upon a star your wish can come true." Naruto said as he came walking towards her with a smile on his face.
She turns around to see him wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. As Minerva looks behind her and sees her future husband she chuckles and responds. "The only thing I wish for is for a peaceful life with you and our expanding family,"
Naruto smiles at the response she gave and hugs her. and whispers "I know I didn't give you a proper answer when you told me I was just surprised. I just came here to tell you that I will never leave you or the others and when we have him or her we will get through this together (Chuckles) besides we aren't alone."
Just then, the other woman appeared and gave a hug to Minerva. she is shocked by this and start to cry not out of sadness but of joy and happiness "Thanks, you guys...(Sniffles) are the best."
"(Sigh). Honesty, I am slightly scared. I grew up without a father, I wouldn't know what to do with helping raising her." Naruto said getting Minerva's attention.
"Oh come on now… You'll be a won-HER?!"
"What?" Naruto asked as she got up and stared at him.
"You said her."
"No I didn't."
the women can only think of one thing 'When will we have one?'
