OK sorry this didn't go up in Feb for the Anniversary but combination of being busy, this site acting up again and weather messing with my internet kept us from working on the Ch.'s.
Also, Ultimate Spider-Man TV series won the poll, got a lot of vote in the last couple of days but I guess that's because of the Spider-Man game getting its release date and GameInformer doing a month long coverage for it.

Chapter LXVI: Hearts And Minds.
Last Time.
He turns to crush Shining Knight, only to find several civilians standing protectively around him.
"Drop the act! You think killing Superman would make the world safe? Or killing this boy? Or us? Tell me how many of us do you have to kill to keep us safe?" An elderly African-American woman asked.
"They're the ones I'm after, not you. I'm not the menace, meta-humans are. Super powered beings."
A boy got up and glared at him. "You're the only one around here with superpowers."
After a tense silence, Eiling drops the car.
"All right, I've become what I hate, I'll give you that. But in the long run, you'll see I was right. You'll see you need the likes of me to protect you from them!" He said before he bounds away across the city's buildings.
Later, the E.M.T.'s tend to the wounded heroes as Crimson Avenger hands Stargirl her staff as she and Bluebird were taken away in an Ambulance.
"Don't you worry Sir Justin. These 21st Century Docs. Will have you up on you feet before you know it." Vigilante said as Knight was wheeled to an Ambulance.
"Hold." He said as he saw the old woman who stood up for him. "I have yet to thank you."
"No need to thank me, son. You just get better. World still needs protectin', you know." She said before Shining Knight was taken to the Ambulance as the kids near them pretended to be each hero who was at the parade.
Now.
The Watchtower, A Few Days Later.
"look, we know Grodd's running some kind of criminal organization. "I'm tired of just putting out fires." Green Lantern said as he stood with Dr. Fate, Red Tornado, Kage, the Flash and Mr. Terrific on the monitor platform.
"We need to find his new secret Society and take the fight to them." Mr. Terrific said turning around to face them from his seat his spheres with a red 'T' floating around him.
"Guys, I'm not arguing that. There's just got to be another way." Flash said before Mr. Terrific stood up from his seat.
"This is it. When Grodd took control of your mind a couple of years ago. Even though that connection was broken, he left a psychic residence."
"I can mystically access that residence, trace it to Grodd, wherever he hides." Dr. Fate said as Red Tornado nodded.
"And when we do find Grodd, we'll likely find Luthor, Bizarro, and any number of wanted villains."
"No doubt, but I don't like strangers going around my brain, no offense Doc." Flash said to Dr. Fate.
"I assure you I won't be reading your thoughts. Your mind is simply a portal." Dr. Fate said before Flash was pushed onto a chair by Naruto.
"Man. Just be careful with my head, it's where I keep all my one-liners."
Dr. Fate spoke a spell having his eyes glow before placing a hand on Flash's head.
(A/N: I won't focus on the Society's hideout as it'll stay canon. And I'll use Flash L. for when Lex is in Flash's body.)
Suddenly, Flash screamed before Fate quickly took his hand off his head having Lantern lean to help the speedster up.
"Wait! That's not Flash, it's Luthor." Fate said as Flash L stood up
"What have you done to me?!" Flash L said in a slightly deeper voice before speeding off.
Everyone tried to stop Flash L., only for him to speed out of, or away from each attack. He then stop near the transporter and put his fingers on a workers head.
"Beam me out of here, or I'm going to vibrate these fingers and scramble your brai-!" He stopped as several black arrows to pierce the controls.
"REV!"
Rev sped through to Flash L. who sped away before quickly tuning and hit the splicer hero, having him tumble back into several other heroes. "
"Attention everyone. "Lex Luthor has taken over Flash's body, try and stop him!"Naruto yelled over the intercom.
Everyone looked for Flash L. who hid in a bathroom to escape the pursuing League members.
"(Panting) Lex, you're having a difficult day." He said before looking up to the mirror. "Hmm... If nothing else, I can at least learn the Flash's secret identity." He unmasks and looks in the mirror, then frowns. "I have no idea who this is."
He then speeds out and dodges attacks from all the Leaguers before Naruto cloths-lined in as he shimmered into view. He then brought his knee down, and knocked Flash L. out
"Dr. Fate, your patient is anesthetized."
Later, Dr. Fate had his hands on a tied up Flash with his cowl off.
"Guys! I was starting to think I was going to go out as the bottom of a supervillain dog pile!" Wally said as Green Lantern moved up.
"It sounds like Wally, but is there any way to be sure?
"You want proof? Until he went off into the Marines, G.L.'s nickname was-!"
"Stop! It's him. Man, you promised never to repeat that story!" Green Lantern said to Wally.
"I know, I was just messing with your head."
"Well, can you tell us anything about Grodd's Secret Society? Where's the headquarters?" Mr. Terrific asked the speedster.
"I don't know. In a swamp?"
"Oh that narrows it down." Naruto replied with a sigh.
Louisiana; Legion Of Doom.
Tala walked up to Lex and helped him out of his seat.
"Lex? Is that really you?"
"Of course it's me, you twit." He said roughly removing her from him.
"Ooh." Tala said in disappointment.
A Month Later, Gotham.
Kage stood on top of his Clocktower base as he watched the sun set. A month has gone by since Lex was put back in his body and he went quiet, most likely to keep the League's eyes off of him and Grodd's group after the incident.
But over that month, Naruto noticed a lot of the female League members have been coming in tired, having trouble doing their duties, simple mission's or having injuries they don't remember getting, or wouldn't talk about.
'I hope the others are alright. With Mei, and Anko going back home as well as Barb to get checked out by Tsunade.' Naruto thought as he hasn't been home in Smallville and hasn't seen Barbara, Diana, or Shayera.
With Mr. Terrific running him ragged and having just sent Kara and Tea out to help another planet, he hasn't seen much of his fiances and hope whatever was happening to the other females, wasn't happening to them as well.
"Kage."
Naruto heard Huntress over his com. "Yeah?" He asked her before she explained running into Black Canary who had trouble with a mugger.
"Well I noticed a lot of female Leaguers having the same problems, as well as having injuries that they don't remember getting or wouldn't talk about."
"Should we get the others?"
"No, if whatever is happening is affecting females, I don't want Darcy, or Teresa top get affected as well. We'll follow Canary if she's acting strange then she'll be the easiest to grab."
Later, Blüdhaven.
Naruto was right as they followed Canary on her bike across the bridge to Blüdhaven. Missing Nightwing and Bat Woman looking out on the bridge. They followed her to a parking garage and saw her walk to an elevator and swipe a card to bring the elevator down.
"Oh, your girlfriend is here." Huntress whispered as they saw Fire walk beside Canary, and silently got on the elevator.
"She's not my girlfriend!"
"Oh like you haven't thought about it, I'm straight and even I would tap that." Huntress said as they walked to the door.
"Yeah, not a compliment from the woman dating Question."
Naruto pulled a card out with a strip connected to a device and went to the card reader.
Ding!
Only for the elevator to open revealing armed men before Naruto quickly took them out having both him, and Huntress walk inside. They went up to the top floor and saw a room that was similar to Roulette's underground fighting ring.
Naruto created a Genjutsu (Illusion Technique.) to hide under a disguise as Huntress stole a dress in a closet to act like a customer.
"Well, you do clean up nice. I see one reason why Question likes you." Naruto said as they saw the cage as the lights went on showing Black Canary and Fire come u from the floor and brutally fight. Naruto narrowed his eyes as he watched Fire burn Canary's arms before Canary used her scream sending Fire into the force field around the cage, knocking her out.
Naruto walked and saw Roulette talk with a man before following her to a row of cells for ingured Leaguers. Once they healed Fire, Naruto grabbed the docrtyor and slammed his head into the wall and then grabbed Roulette and squeezed her neck.
"What do we kill? The code that you're controlling them with, or you?
"(Grunt!) You heroes don't ki-!"
Crack!
"AAH!" She screamed as Naruto broke her wrist. "One down, just over 200 to go."
"OK! OK!" She yelled having Naruto grab her broken wrist, and heal it with his Sun Mark.
She took him upstairs where she cut off the codes that used the J.L. coms. Signal to brainwash the females of the League to make money again. The police and League came down to arrest everyone there and help the controlled heroines, with Naruto seeing Diana and Shayera walking out from under the platform with Vixen.
A Few Weeks Later; Metropolis, Metro Tower.
Kage watched a monitor with Superman and Green Arrow with Kara battling the robots looking like the villains they face on her 21st birthday.
'Kind of wish we celebrated like we did with my 22nd birthday.' Naruto thought remembering him and the others not leaving the bedroom except for restroom and eating on his birthday several months ago.
"Well?" Naruto looked to see Green Lantern was also in the simulation with her.
"Well what?" He asked.
"Aren't you gonna give me notes on how badly I screwed up?"
"No notes, Kara. I've got nothing left to teach you." Naruto smiled, ignoring Green Arrow praise her to Superman before blinking as he looked to them.
"She even got rid of her old costume to make one like yours."
"Yes, I'm very proud, but... Don't tell her."
"No! That's a job for Superman." Naruto said walking out with Green Arrow to the simulation. Naruto smiled as Supergirl flew into his arms and held her.
Suddenly, an energy sphere formed around the four heroes and as they tried to break it, disappeared as soon as Superman flew in through the wall.
Metropolis, 31st Century. (1.)
The four Leaguers looked to see two young men in front of them standing in a metal room.
The first has blue skin, blonde hair, and Brainiac's symbol on his forehead. And he's wearing a magenta body suit with black around the neck and wrists.
This is Brainiac 5, a 12th-level intellect Coluan who is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
The next is slightly overweight with black hair and has a blue shirt with black pants.
This is Bouncing Boy a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
"I'm certain this must be disorienting for you. My name is..." Brainiac 5 trailed off as Supergirl flew to him.
"Brainiac!"
"That's right, how did you... Uh, oh!" He said as Supergirl attacks him, having the air ripple revealing a shield around Brainiac 5."
"Whoa, Sparky!" Arrow said grabbing Supergirl by the wrist. "Let's hear the kid out."
"Thank you. Yes, I am a Brainiac, but I'm not a machine. I'm organic. The universe-conquering Brainiac you knew is my distant ancestor. Over time he learned to pass down his code biologically. I am Brainiac 5. Think of me as the black sheep of my family, dedicated to doing good to make up for my ancestor's legacy of evil." Brainiac 5 explained as Green Lantern walked up.
"And you demonstrated that by kidnapping us?"
"We'd have never done it if the situation wasn't so dire." Bouncing Boy said as Naruto sighed.
"Then when are we?"
"You're 1,000 years into the future, the 31st century." Brainiac 5 explained as Lantern sighed.
"Time travel, swell."
Bouncing Boy then looked to Naruto and smiled. "It's a real thrill for me to meet you, sir. You're the famous Naruto Uzumaki, father of-!"
"You wanna shut up before you create a time paradox?"
"Sorry, Chuck Taine, A.K.A. Bouncing Boy."
"Why did you bring us here?" Supergirl asked them.
"We needed help, so we sent the Time Bubble to bring back some of Earth's greatest heroes." Brainiac 5 explained.
"But why us?" Supergirl asked narrowing her eyes.
"It... It was random, we'd have taken anyone."
Naruto narrowed his eyes, feeling the lie but kept quiet as he felt no hostility from either man."
Brainiac 5 and Bouncing Boy explained they're the only two remaining members of the Legion of Super-Heroes, an organization of super-powered teenagers from many worlds, based in the city of Metropolis on the planet Earth in the late 30th and early 31st centuries.
The Legionnaires were inspired to band together by the legendary exploits of Superman in the 20th and 21st centuries. And that every other member of the populous Legion has been captured by the Fatal Five who have placed the heroes under mind-control.
And knowing from historical records that some members of the "legendary" Justice League were due to come to this time period at the moment, the remaining two members of the Legion activated the time machine to get help, picking up three heroes at random.
Supergirl brought them over to discus what to do, as she doesn't trust Brainiac 5 due to her time with the first Brainiac and as the two men argued against her, Naruto glanced back to the other two in the room.
"You know, Brainiac, being organic and having a heart, not the same thing."
Naruto heard Bouncing Boy speak before Supergirl relented and decided to help.
They walked out into the hall where a large floating eye shot a green beam at them. Hen a woman dressed in green with green hair and a man in silver armor and an axe walked up to the heroes.
These two are the Persuader and Emerald Empress, members of the Fatal Five.
"A woman in green and a man with an axe accompanying her. I just got serious Déjà Vu." Naruto said taking out his bow.
"AAH!" And was shocked by the Persuader's ax and had a chip with a green 'V' symbol put on his forehead before it exploded and he was shocked again by the ax forcing him to his knees.
In the mêlée, the five heroes are all put under mind control by the Empress, but Brainiac 5 manages to resist the conditioning and frees Supergirl who then brings Arrow back to normal.
"Leave them, we have the Lantern. That's more than enough." The Empress said and they leave with him and Bouncing Boy to rejoin their accomplices.
The four heroes go back to the lap with one of the mind-controlling chips to try and find a way to track the others with it, but with no luck.
"The vending machines outside works." Supergirl said giving Naruto a can of soda.
"Back on Argo we used psionic technology for our remote controls. When we lost one, you'd just have to think at it and it'd beep. Don't know why we bothered, they were always in the couch cushions." Supergirl explained, relishing in taking about tech she's actually familiar with.
Naruto seeing how happy she is, sighs before leaving out the door, throwing his can in a trash bin.
"So, I have to know. Why did you save me first?"
Was the last thing Naruto heard as he closed the door. As he walked out the door, he saw an old statue of Supergirl that was broken as it was missing the cape, and the cheeks were missing as well.
'Supergirl, May 10, 1997- May 10, 2018'
Naruto's eyes widen seeing a metal plaque bolted on the bottom revealing his first girl was going to die today.
He ran back in to see Kara was looking at Brainiac's ring.
"What's that?"
"The Legion Flight ring, all of us have one." He explained as he hands the ring to Supergirl.
Naruto walked up as Supergirl took her ear com out and brought up using that to find Green Lantern, and the others before they left, not giving Naruto time to talk to her.
He rubbed the back of his neck as he looked to the tech that made him feel like he was a caveman and remembers Supergirl easily use the tech and clenched his fists before following where they found G.L. on a ship heading to a planet.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go." Naruto said turning to leave as the others followed, Supergirl flying up to him.
"Everything alright? You seem tense."
"Fine just want to rescue the others." Naruto said before picking his pace up to walk in front of his fiance.
They went to Brainiac 5's ship and walked inside.
"Nice ship!" Supergirl said looking at the advanced controls.
"It's strictly no frills, but it's fast. What do you pilot back home?"
"Usually just a pickup."
"A pickup? Is that a type of Starcruiser?"
"Yes. Yes it is." Green Arrow said as they manage to reach the Capitol Planet in time to confront their enemies.
They arrive just as Green Lantern and the mind-controlled Legion of Super-Heroes are sent to attack the planet.
"You guys get aboard that ship and disable the chips! I'll take care of the others." Supergirl said as Naruto grabbed her by the arm as she turned.
"That's not a good idea Kara."
"Why?"
"Because you die today!"
"History says you never return to your time after coming here."
"There's still a planet full of people that still need our help." Supergirl said, still intent to take the others on.
"But-!" Naruto again tries to stop her but she kisses him in case she doesn't see him again and flies into battle.
Brainiac 5 crash-lands his ship into that of the Fatal Five and he, Naruto and Green Arrow take on the villains.
"I love the direct approach." Green Arrow said as they walked off the ship protected by Brainiac 5.
"The rest of the mission won't be so easy."
They ran to the control room and saw the Fatal Five there.
"Shoot." Brainiac 5 cursed.
"I know. I was hoping they'd be out looking for us." Arrow said before Brainiac pointed.
"No, shoot!"
Green Arrow and Naruto shoots an arrow at the Fatal Five having each blow.
Brainiac 5 used his shield to protect them as the two archers shot several arrows out to destroy what they could before Naruto shot one that cloned into multiple that destroyed the entire room
BOOM!
On the planet surface, Supergirl more than holds her own against incredible odds, including the physical assaults of Colossal Boy, Blok and Ultra Boy or the combined energy blasts of Wildfire, Shadow Lass and Lightning Lad. However, John Stewart unleashes a powerful attack which finally overcomes her.
Stewart then throws her violently through a building and starts to crush her in a cosmically-powerful vise-grip. As the mind-control device is deactivated, Stewart becomes himself again and is horrified by what he has done. He picks up Supergirl's apparent lifeless body.
On the Fatal Five's ship, Green Arrow, Kage, and Brainiac 5 are looking out the destroyed wall as. Validus is about to crush them when his robotic body is punched through and disabled by Supergirl, alive and well.
Later.
As the Leaguers are about to return to their own time, the three Justice Leaguers are made honorary Legionnaires and given Legion Flight Rings.
"Sorry but you can't keep them, might pollute the time stream." As they were going to give their rings to Bouncing Boy, Naruto turned to Kara.
Suddenly, a bright light blinded everyone for a second before it died down.
"Mom, dad?"
Naruto and Kara looked up to see a woman that was Kara's age who looked exactly like her but with two whisker marks on her cheeks.
She is a fairly tall, female human having her hair in an elastic band. She has blue eyes, blonde hair and a slender yet athletic build. She's wearing a costume that consists of black domino mask over her eyes, a scarf, long black gloves covering her arms, long black boots that reach her thighs and a skin-tight suit that covers up most of her torso.
This is Carol Uzumaki A.K.A. Ms. Marvel, Naruto's and Kara's future daughter.

"MOM?!" Supergirl asked as Ms. Marvel nodded getting her to feint.
Naruto stared down at his fiancé before looking up to his daughter.
"Just take her home dad. Don't wanna pollute the time stream. And that statue you saw in the hall is of me after I joined the League, these guys just thought it was mom since my cheeks were broken and all the files on mom after coming to the future got damaged."
"OK then." Naruto said picking Supergirl up bridal style as he left through a portal to the second that they left for this time.
Metro Tower, Present Time.
The group landed in the spot they were in as Superman and Steel was looking around.
"What happened?" Superman asked as the three heroes looked to each other.
"It's a long story." They said at the same time.
A Few Weeks Later, Kansas.
Naruto was having a picnic with Shayera near a cliff as the sun set.
"This is nice." She commented as Naruto smiled at her.
"Yeah, it is." He said before cleaning up as she stood up.
And then gasped as Naruto held a ring out to her. She looked up to his eyes before he spoke.
"Will you marry me?"
When she opened her mouth, she jumped hearing a loud voice.
"YES!"
They both looked to the right/left and saw a person far away fly up into the air.
"I guess my clone asked Tea." Naruto said before chuckling.
"And I will as well." Shayera said before Naruto kissed her as he puts her ring on her ring finger.
