*Peaks head around corner* Aha, miss me? Hi everyone, I'm back after two years of disappearing. What's new? Well I graduated high school, funny to think the last time I wrote or even thought about this story was in year 10 and now I'm waiting to attend a make up school in July. So, while I am waiting for that time, I decided to come back and finish old stories as well as write new ones.
This chapter is dedicated to Ruth M. Your message inspired me to keep writing this after I thought it was a long-forgotten story. /
Sorry that for now it's only a filler. I'm still getting the hang of writing again and I need to reread over all the chapters to make sure I remember the story correctly. Without further ado, enjoy.

Chapter Seven.
-2 Days Later-
Jonathan felt his head hit the ground with a harsh force, his arms were pulled behind his back and a foot was placed in between his shoulder blades. The young boy sighed in defeat. "Uncle." He groaned. Max smirked, dropping the red heads arms and taking his foot off his back. "How did you learn to fight like that?" Jonathan asked as the other boy helped him up.

"Years of training, also my uncle and mum taught me a few things." He smiled brightly at Jonathan. Though he wasn't warming up to Max, he still gave him a firm handshake and a small smile. "Alexa, did you want to have a go?" Max turned to the light-haired female sitting on the side line watching them.

"And make a fool of myself getting my arse handed to me? I'll pass."

A tall male walked into the room, his hair was cut short and he wore all black with runes covering his arms and neck. He looked down at the younger children with his bright blue eyes and gave them a soft smile. "Welcome, my name is Alec Lightwood. I am Max's uncle. Today I am going to be training you in combat, as well as teaching you about each weapon. Any questions?"

Alexa raised her hand and Alec gives a nod in her direction. "I'm sorry for asking so early sir, but when will we be done?"

"In a rush, are we? Got better things to do?" Alec arched a brow as he looked over at her.

"O—oh no that's not it sir. I was just wondering…"

"We will be done when I say we are." Alec said and looked over at Max. "Have you given them the run down on how training is going to work?"

"Yes sir!" Max said with a prideful smile. "I also taught them both a bit of combat."

Alec smile with an approving smile. "Excellent. Alright, you and you." He points at Jonathan first then Alexa. "Give me five laps around the gym now."

Alexa jumps to her feet and begins running, Jonathan manages to keep up with her at only a steady jog. "This is going to be hell." Alexa whispers to her brother with a groan.

"Just keep your head down, we don't want him picking up on anything in case he's a part of the circle."

Alexa nodded. "That's why I wanted to know when we were leaving… do you think they'll figure it out?"

Jonathan looked over and Max was talking to his uncle, both seemed distracted for now. "Don't worry. After this I'm taking us both to get our hair dyed and a few temporary feature changes. Nothing too dramatic though."

"Okay… let's hope training doesn't kill us first."

"Jonathan isn't make up for girls?" Alexa said with a small smirk on her lips as she watched her brother apply the foundation to his face. For someone who hasn't put it on before he managed to keep it even and was even able to pick the colour that matched his skin tone.

"Make up is for anyone who wishes to wear it." Jonathan adds as he successfully was able to cover his freckles up and leave himself with a blank canvas to work with. "You don't really have any freckles, you look more like dad, we need to give you a feature that makes people believe you look different."

"We need to change our hair colour." She adds. "Did you get the hair dye?"

"Yes, of course I got it." He reaches into the paper bag and pulls out two bottles of hair dye, both different colours. "I got you blonde, so the change doesn't look so dramatic, but you still look different. I'm going brunette since it's the closet natural colour I could find."

They were in the bathroom connected to Jonathan's room. After training they both went down to the closet drug store, they bought hair dye, make up, and contact lenses. Jonathan was planning on changing their appearances further but for now this is what they had to work with.

Jonathan helped his sister dye her hair, the blonde worked well and went in easy enough. His own hair was a fair bit trickier since he insisted on doing it himself, but he managed. By the time the twins washed it out they were successfully now a blonde and brunette. Jonathan looked at his sister and cupped his cheek in his right hand.

"How would you feel about getting a real tattoo?" He asked but then took it back. "Sorry, don't get a tattoo. I was just thinking out loud."

"What were you exactly thinking?"

"Maybe one of those small face tattoos where people usually have beauty marks." He said with a shrug and sat on the bed.

Alexa thought for a moment and shook her head, going over and throwing herself down on the bed, not caring about her hair being wet now.

"What about you? Would you get a face tattoo?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah, definitely. I also want to get a few piercings, for a while now actually. Though I know for a fact mum and dad would have killed me. But now is a better time then ever." He said with a soft smile.

Alexa looked up at him and sighed. "Hey Jon."

"Yes?" He turned to look her in the eyes.

"If there's something about you…you know you can always tell me and I'll always love you no matter what." She sat up and smiled softly.

"Uhh… what is this about?"

"Nothing. I just want to make sure you know that."

He nodded and pulled her into a hug. "And I love you no matter what. You're my best friend." He stated with a smile. "We're going to fix this. I promise, we'll be home again with mum and dad and everything will go back to normal."

Alexa hugged her brother back and sighed as they pulled away. "It's never going to be normal again, you know that right?" She leant back on the bed and stared up at the ceiling. Jonathan turned off the light and laid beside her.

"Yeah I know. But as normal as it can be."

Alexa closed her eyes and felt her body relax. She dreamed of home, walking through the front door from the beach and smelling dinner cooking on the stove, having her father embrace her and Jonathan. The family sitting together for a meal and their father holding them close as he carried them to bed and read them a story. She dreamed of the days when they were younger, she enjoyed those days. Alexa hoped they would get the chance to relive them again.

Like it? Hate it? Tell me what you think. Damn haven't written that in years, yesh.

I hope I can get back into finishing these stories. If you've stuck around this long, thank you. Her snow white prince will hopefully be up with a new chapter soon. Bye bye for now~
