I don't like you! by BloodyMarryMe

And the second chapter is up! Wow, I'm really writting it one after the other. I hope this inspiration keeps up. I have to admitt, fan fiction is giving me some trouble and I'm still learning but I think I got the hang of it...mostly.

I'm really trying my best to make the story interesting and fun. And I hope you like Miyako. ( I do :P)

Also, I forgot to tell you in the first chapter: „(text)" = this is used for talking, and *(text)* = and this for thinking. Though I suppose you already figured it out through the story.

Disclaimer: I do not own One piece or any of its characters but I do own Miyako (the OC)

Note: Also, a big thank you to Volleys-chan who is rereading my story, and have offered their help with editing it. They are proofreading and styling the chapters right now, and are in the process of making them more awesome! :D

CHAPTER 2

Miyako was absentmindedly fiddling with the long sleeves of her kimono as a way to pacify her nerves when she heard a loud crash. Her eyes darted in the direction of the stage where the sounds of screams and gunshots now poured out from. Then, suddenly, she felt the same haki signature from before and saw that same man from earlier standing out of his cell, with the giant who was previously sitting there, by his side. She immediately noticed that neither man had one of those bomb collars around their necks.

"How did you do that," she asked with a slight perplexity in her voice. The other slaves looked confused and afraid, not knowing what was going on and the situation wasn't getting any clearer.

The man smiled at her, but didn't answer. He looked extremely familiar now that she could get a good look at him and she ransacked her brain to remember his face. *Ah! He's one of those legendary pirates, what's-his-name! Right, Rayleigh! What is he doing in a place like this…and how was he able to take his collar off? It must be connected with the haki I felt him release just now, but how…,* her thoughts trailed off as she contemplated about what she just witnessed. Miyako was quite skilled with haki herself, but even she lacked the ability to use it to take her collar off without killing herself. This man's show of power both intrigued her and made her wary of him, as it proved he was as deadly as he was cryptic.

Rayleigh disappeared as he headed for the stage, but soon he was replaced by yet another strange man. Though, she admitted at least to herself as she stared baffled at him, this man really was a genuine weirdo. He was wearing nothing but a Hawaiian shirt and a speedo, with weird-looking blue hair. He ran over to the slaves in a hurry. *Ugh!* Miyako turned her head away with a disgusted frown, slightly embarrassed for even staring at this half-naked pervert.

Yet he quickly caught her attention once more when he threw a ring of keys at the slaves and yelled, "Here! Free yourselves and run! The marines are coming!" All of the slaves or soon-to-be ones cheered in unison as they freed one another. The man didn't stick around to check on them, but instead ran back towards the stage, leaving Miyako to ponder what in the world was happening out there.

When it came her turn to get her collar removed, Miyako heaved a sigh in relief as the heavy weight of the device was removed from her neck. She stretched out her limbs, now free of their shackles. All of the slaves had already run towards the exit and disappeared but Miyako stayed, moving quickly throughout the back of the auction house. *Come on, where is it….AHA!* She found the room she was looking for. It wasn't very big, but had lockers set throughout the walls. She found the one that matched her number and took out the keys from earlier. It took a bit of fumbling, but finally one key did fit and the locker opened with a small click. The girl smiled at the contents of the locker, satisfied that she found what she was looking for. Her katana and the small sack of money she had carried before they took her here were still inside. She quickly put the sack in her pocket and then carefully took her sword. *Aaah, it feels nice to have it by my side again.* Feeling the familiar weight in her hand, she felt safer already. The money, as important as it was, was nothing compared to the sheathed item now in her hands. Losing her katana would be like losing a part of her soul. She practically cuddled the weapon before tying it to her waist where it belonged.

The Wano girl briskly walked towards the only exit, her wooden sandals clacking against the floor. The only people left in the main room were the unconscious guards of the auction house so she had no trouble making her escape through the building. As she moved towards the exit, she recognized a person on the floor, lying next to her feet. It was one of the Tenryuubito. He mumbled something, barely conscious, and tried to move, but couldn't. His face was badly beaten.

"H-Help me…," he murmured weakly, yet even then it sounded like an arrogant order.

Miyako snorted upon hearing his plea… no, his command. Even now, this Tenryuubito thought he was on top of the world. She stared at him expressionless for a while, then a wide, almost evil grin split her face. "Why not ask your money and status to help you now," she hissed. She turned from him and walked away, leaving the beaten man behind.

She peeked outside to gauge the situation, and her eyes widened in shock. A huge number of marines were on the floor, unconscious or injured, with others helping them. *What kind of battle went on here?* By the looks of it, a big one. But now wasn't the time to be wondering about that. The marines were slowly regaining their senses and would soon rush inside the auction house to rescue the Tenryuubito there. Miyako glanced around quickly and saw she was quite near the mangrove tree forest. She needed to get out of plain sight. The last thing she needed now was to get noticed by Marines and have them misinterpret her poor circumstances. She rushed as silently as she could towards the forest and was relieved when she finally reached the safety of the trees.

The samurai girl took a deep breath as she walked away from the Grove 1 area, but she knew she wasn't safe just yet. She could hear the echoes of shouts and fighting from all around as chaos spread from the auction house to the town and across Sabaody. She overhead the passersby panicked comments on what was happening while they rushed to get to safety. It seemed the Straw Hat pirates had attacked the Tenryuubito and caused all this ruckus. Such an offense simply could not go unpunished by the World Government, and so Admiral Kizaru was called in to clean up the matter. She remembered some talk about the 'Supernova', 11 rookie pirates who were all currently docked on this archipelago, and she recalled 'Straw Hat Luffy' was a name mentioned among them. Still, he was a pirate she knew only by name and nothing more, so the information wasn't helping her much. All she knew was that extremely dangerous pirates were now being hunted by an extremely dangerous Admiral with his marines in tow, which meant nobody was safe. There were even some rumors about the royal Shichibukai Bartholomew Kuma coming here. Although not a pirate, Miyako had just become a runaway slave, something she was sure would be found out soon enough. Also, having a weapon around her waist didn't help her situation either, regardless of if she used it in self-defense or not in this predicament since all hostile actions by any force that was not a marine soldier was sure to be misconstrued, so she wanted to avoid any unnecessary encounters with the marines.

Honestly, the entire situation confused her a bit. Since Wano had a closed-door policy, she didn't know much about the outside world, and what she did know came from the newspaper and townsfolk talk. Yet now she was on a hostile island-looking grove infested with dangerous individuals, far away from home and everything familiar, for the first time in her life. Before this she had never even left Wanokuni! Thankfully, the girl was an intelligent sort that could adapt quickly enough, so already she was formulating a plan.

*I stick out like a sore thumb in this clothing, and right now I'm still in a dangerous, lawless zone.* She looked down at her kimono and the katana strapped to her waist. *Well, I suppose in a place like this it wouldn't be so strange for a girl to walk around armed in order to protect herself. But the kimono has to go.* She sighed sadly. She didn't want to get rid of it and people outside Wano wore strange clothing. Everything was too revealing for her taste. *I guess I have no choice,* she finally decided, losing the internal battle she led with herself. Just as she was about to change course for the shopping district, a loud boom went off and a flash of lightning blinded her.

When her eyes recovered, Miyako sped through the mangroves and hid behind a large root, glancing at the sight in interest. She kept a fair distance away from the commotion as she peeked to see what had happened. A bunch of men were battling and… She blinked. Was that a bear? What really caught Miyako's attention, however, was the large man lying on the ground.

*Isn't that…Bartholomew Kuma!*

As if the shock of seeing a Shichibukai beaten and on the ground wasn't enough, she noticed another large man standing behind him…a man who looked exactly the same!

*Two Kumas? What the-?* That's when she noticed sparks coming from the beaten one, and her eyes narrowed in realization. *A robot? What's going on here?*

Suddenly the group rushed and attacked the remaining Kuma-robot. Perhaps it was because she was an outsider, having lived the entirety of her life in Wano, but to her they all seemed very strange in their appearance. There were two men in white boiler suits and a big man who looked like a slave, but didn't have a collar on him. With them was what appeared to be a polar bear in an orange boiler suit (Seriously, a bear?) and a young man with a spotted hat and a large nodachi. He felt familiar to her for some reason, but Miyako wasn't sure why since she couldn't place his face from anywhere in her mind. Not far from them was another group of men, who looked even weirder and scarier. Observing them, speedo guy has been officially bumped for outrageous fashion choices but only marginally so, in Miyako's mind.

One had a blue and white mask, from which long blonde hair fell from out of the back of the helmet, and two spinning scythes on his arms. The other looked almost like a corpse and had strange clothing. His mouth looked as if it had been stitched a long time ago, and the girl couldn't help but grimace imagining how painful that must've been. Next to him was another peculiar individual; a really tall guy with way too little clothing on him, holding a big pitchfork. The last one was a brawny pale man with piercing red eyes and bright red spiky hair. He had a particularly creepy face, and what was with the makeup?

*Definitely not a group of people you want to stumble upon in a dark alley, * the girl thought, her mouth dropping open slightly as she took in their appearances. She really didn't understand fashion outside Wano. Everyone looked so strange compared to the simple attire she was used to in her homeland. Then again, perhaps to these people her appearance would look just as strange. In any case, Miyako wasn't one to judge.

"Room."

Law spoke the word calmly, but his heavy breathing betrayed that this was not an easy fight. He mentally gauged how close to his limit he was getting while he sprung forth with his weapon in hand to strike at his mechanical opponent and mentally plotted an escape for him and his men before he reached it. Before he had the chance to put his nodachi through the odd Kuma look-alike, the robot opened its mouth again.

*Shit,* he cursed mentally, barely having the time to dodge the attack. He clicked his tongue in frustration, and noticed Captain Kidd attacking the robot from the left with newly gathered metal weapons. He combined all the metal, making one giant arm and was able to hit and smash it at Kuma, destroying the bionic limb in the process. The sheer weight of it ought to have demolished the robot, but Law knew better than to underestimate it. Kidd didn't either. They both already experienced a similar battle, with Kuma-bot's predecessor, so they had an idea what this thing was capable of. For a moment, Law couldn't see anything through the dust cloud. As it began to settle, he noticed Bepo move forwards, wanting to inspect the situation.

"Bepo, don't!"

Law's shout made the bear freeze and Bepo quickly apologized with a "Sorry." It was good that he did stop because not a second later that bright light shone again as the laser ripped through the dust cloud towards them. Law dodged again.

He could see the rage building on Kidd's face as the battle continued. As the dust cleared, it became apparent that Kidd's attack had done some damage to the robot, but not nearly enough. The left side was now bare, machinery and metal poking out from underneath, but it was still functional. His crewmates attacked Kuma-robot again with Kidd's following suit, before they changed tactics and rushed the robot together. Law unsheathed his nodachi. His newest crew member, former captain Jean Bart, held both of Kuma's hands with his own. He was struggling, but Law was impressed by the man's brute strength. He noticed Penguin was about to strike from above. The robot realized this too and looked up, mouth opening as he got ready to use the laser again, even with his hands still immobilized.

The pirate captain took advantage of the robot's distraction and used his Devil fruit ability. "Room," he called and a blue sphere appeared around them all. Suddenly, Trafalgar was the one above the robot instead of Penguin and he wasted no time as he stabbed his nodachi right through the robot's mouth.

"Let's see if you are as hard on the inside as you are on the outside," he mumbled, before pulling his sword out and jumping off the robot. There were sparks flying out of the thing's mouth and the robot kept opening and closing its jaw as if the mechanism was stuck. Finally, its mouth closed fully and the laser beam meant for the pirates exploded inside, instead. The thing fell down with a loud crash. Sparks flew around, but it didn't move anymore. Trafalgar was still on edge for a while, hand on his noidachi and his other hand ready to reinstate his 'Room' at a moment's notice, in case it stood up again. Luckily, it didn't. He nodded in satisfaction. Kidd, on the other hand, was rather displeased that Law was the one to finish off the robot, showing it with an irritated frown, but that only made Law smirk in amusement.

"What are these things? Why do they look like the Shichibukai Kuma?" A man from Kidd's crew, Law remembered as Killer, asked.

"I don't know but we don't have time to find out. Admiral Kizaru could be nearby as we speak," the pirate doctor warned, and motioned for his crew to move out. Kidd did the same.

"It seems I'll have to wait until we get to the New World before I crush you, Trafalgar Law!" Kidd shouted with a sadistic grin as the group separated, each crew going its own way. Law didn't answer, he just glanced over his shoulder and gave the other captain one of his infamous wide smirks, a clear 'go ahead and try' challenge written in his eyes. With that he turned away and headed for their submarine.

"Come on men, hurry it up!" Law shouted, counting to see if everyone from his crew were present and moving in the right direction.

"Aye, captain!" They shouted back, running through the mangrove trees.

Miyako watched the group split up as they ran, leaving two destroyed robots on the ground. *Time for me to move on as well.*

She walked in a hurry towards the shopping district with a darker look than before. Seeing two devil fruit users fighting those things had been nothing short of amazing - although the bear still fascinated her the most - but what really caught Miyako's attention, was the name the red haired one had shouted before leaving.

"Trafalgar Law," she repeated the name in a whisper. While she hadn't been able to place his face, Miyako remembered that name very well. He had been the one who bought her at the auction. She almost cringed at the word 'bought'. As she mulled over that name, she remembered why it sounded so familiar to her even back then. It was also the name of one of the pirate rookies that anchored here. The other leader of the group, the redhead, was surely a captain as well, but Miyako didn't recognize his name or face. *Given his strength, he's probably one of those rookies as well. And both of them have quite interesting abilities...*

The world outside Wano seemed to be far more chaotic and bizzare than she had ever imagined. As she headed towards the shopping district, she pondered how she was going to get back to her homeland.

And another chapter is done. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I already have lots of chapters done but I'll wait a bit before publishing more. I want to see what will the people think of it and besides, it's no fun to publish it all at once.

Thank you, Jeseney for proofreading this chapter!
