A week had passed from Sofia's surgery, Callie and Arizona have been living in separate houses, still going on dates when they can with their busy schedules.
"Arizona!" Callie called out, grabbing a tray from the side of the line and cutting people to catch up to the blonde.
"Callie you can't just cut in front of people." Arizona chuckled and grabbed a bowl of fruit. Callie did the same and shrugged her shoulders.
"I miss you, we haven't seen much of each other this week." Callie chuckled and grabbed a plate, putting some lettuce and tomato on it, then some veggies and she grabbed a ranch.
"We saw each other the day before yesterday. We took Sofia to get pancakes and a movie." Arizona grabbed a bowl and put some soup in there and grabbed crackers.
"Yeah, I know and I had a blast." Callie grabbed a fork and handed Arizona a spoon. They bokth paid for their food and grabbed a bottle of water for her and the blonde.
"Well, how about tonight you come over and I'll make you some food and after we put Sofia down we can hang out and watch a movie." Arizona shrugged and sat down at the attendings table, taking a bite of her fruit.
"Alright, I will be there at six." Callie smiled.
Callie and Arizona enjoyed lunch together, and finished their surgeries. Arizona went home by five and Callie got off by five thirty, she got Sofia from her after school program and then took her back to Meredith. She got Sofia into the new outfit she got her. "It smells good in here." Callie smiled and shut the door, taking off her coat and Sofia's coat.
"Well I'm making your favorite. Tamales!" Arizona smiled. "And I attempted to make some rice hut I failed. Hey Sof, go turn on cartoons while we cook." Arizona led Callie to the kitchen and Callie began to make the rice. Arizona poured them some wine and watched Callie cook, biting her lip.
"What?" Callie chuckled and walked over to the blonde, leaning in, Arizona leaned in, but Callie pulled away taking her glass of wine and taking a sip.
Arizona couldn't help but to laugh and shake her head. She loved Callie, but she was still hesitant about everything that was going on. Callie could leave at any moment she wanted to and that terrified Arizona. "Nothing." Arizona replied, her smile still showing.
A few minutes later, Callie finished the rice and made a plate for Sofia, putting it at the counter.
"Mija." Callie demanded, then made a plate for Arizona and handed it to her, then she made a plate for herself.
Sofia quickly got up and sat at the bar, eating her food, Callie and Arizona sat down with her and enjoyed their dinner together.
After eight o'clock, Sofia went to bed, and Callie and Arizona sat on the couch.
"Callie I want to talk to you." Arizona grabbed her hands, looking at the brunette.

"I want to adopt that baby. Listen to me before you cut me off. Sofia wants a sibling, and that baby is still in the social workers hands. I think that I need that baby." Arizona bit her lip and looked down. "I'm still afraid that you're going to leave me behind like you did before. I understand why you did it. But what if I fall for you and you just leave again?" Arizona questioned, looking at the brunette in front of her. "We are happy, Callie and we have fixed a lot of things with us and I feel like we are ready." Arizona tilted her head and continued to look at the Latina.
"Arizona.. last time we fixed us, and I finally got you back you cheated on me because you weren't getting enough attention. How do I know if we have a baby and you won't get enough attention are you going to cheat on me again? I was faithful to you, Arizona. I love you with every fiber of my being. And I don't know if I'm ready for this right now. Or we, I don't even think we are ready for this." Callie pulled her hands away and looked at the blonde.
"We are! Callie, we are ready and I'm not going to cheat on you again. I'm not going to explain this whole thing again on why I did what I did. We just started being happy again with each other and I'm so happy that you came back home. I love you so much, Calliope. But I'm ready for more. And Sofia is too." Arizona sighed and rested her hand on Callie's thigh, moving closer. "Please." She whispered.
Callie sat there for a while thinking. She wanted to give Arizona everything she could. She wanted to make her happy more than anything in the world, but bringing a baby into this scared Callie more than anything. After her thoughts she sighed and locked eyes with Arizona. "Okay, let's adopt the baby." Callie said softly, smiling slightly.
"Oh gosh! Really?!" Arizona asked excitingly, leaning over and hugging Callie.
"Yeah." Callie smiled and wrapped her arms around Arizona, pulling her in close. They stayed in each other's arms for what felt like forever, but once they pulled away, Callie missed Arizona's embrace.
The two women watched a movie together and just say on the couch, once the movie was over, Callie looked at Arizona for a few seconds and smiled.
"I should go." Callie said softly, standing up.
"O-or you could stay?" Arizona shrugged, her eyes catch the chocolate brown ones.
"Arizona we said the third date." Callie mumbled, grabbing her coat. "And if I stay there is no stopping me from going all the way." Callie chuckled and starred at the blonde who stood up.
"I want you to go all the way, Calliope." Arizona grabbed Callie's jacket and set it on the couch and grabbed the Latinas hand.
Callie chuckled slightly and made sure the door was locked then followed Arizona to her room, the brunette shit the door behind them and pushed Arizona against it. "Yeah, I know." Callie smiled and bit her lip. " We have a doctor's appointment today to check on your surgery. Then you have to go to school tomorrow, Okay?" Callie tapped her shoulder trying to get the little girls attention.
"I know!" Sofia pouted, finishing her cereal.
"Good, I'm going to wake your mom up, you need to get dressed." Callie demanded, kissing Sofia's temple.
"Alright." Sofia took her bowl to the kitchen and skipped to her room.
Callie walked into Arizona's room, closing the door, she got under the covers and ran her hand up the blondes side, leaning down and kissing along her exposed neck. Arizona let out a moan and she grabbed Callie's hand.

Callie laughed, grabbing a shirt from the night stand.
"Okay, Okay." Arizona laughed and sat up on the bed, taking her leg and putting it on then getting out of bed, she felt Callie smack her ass.
"Hey!" Arizona shouted, grabbing a pair of purple lace underwear and p sitting them on and a matching bra.
"You still have all your matching stuff, I always loved when you were matching underneath." Callie smirked and gathered her clothes on the floor, throwing them into the hamper.

Callie grabbed her shoes and heard the door open.
"I'm ready, can we go?" Sofia smiled, she stood there.
"Alright well I'm waiting for mom to hurry." Callie laughed and stood up, walking out of the room with Sofia, grabbing the car keys.
"I'm coming." Arizona walked down the hall, and to the girls. They walked to the car and drove to the hospital.
Sofia had her check up, and everything was clear, and she went and hung out at the nurses station while Callie and Arizona with the social worker in charge of the baby.
"Well, I just want to inform you that we do require that the couple adoption any children must be married. Just to insure that the child isn't going to a broken home. Have you adopted before?" The social worker asked, looking at the women sitting in front of her.
"No. This is our first time, we um, we were actually married before but we got a d-divorced, we just had a conversation about this." Callie admitting, biting the inside of her cheek.
"Oh, okay." The social worker slid a paper across the table to the women and smiled. "This is the paper you need to fill out to be considered for the adoption and this paper is what needs to be done, or I guess some tips on ways to be picked." The social worker explained, handing the women another sheet of paper.
Callie and Arizona looked at the list and nodded their heads.
"Thank you." Callie stood up and walked out of the room, Arizona was quick to follow.
"Callie let's just look the papers over and talk about it before making a choice." Arizona shrugged, walking to the elevator.
Callie nodded her head and looked at them. " Yeah, we need to talk before making this big of a choice, Arizona. Because I don't know if I'm ready to remarry you. I love you so much and I love the time we've had but that's a big step." Callie looked at the blonde, sighing.
"So let's not get married and just try and fill out the applications. The worst that can happen is we get denied. The baby can't even leave the NICU for another four weeks." Arizona looked at Callie and sighed.
"Alright." Callie nodded and walked out of the elevator with Arizona and smiled when she saw Sofia.
"Hey, let's go grab lunch, Okay?" Callie suggested, grabbing her bag from the chair and Sofia's hand.
Arizona couldn't tell if Callie was mad or just upset but it always irritated her when Callie pushed her away like this.
"Callie." Arizona muttered, walking with her.
The brunette smiled down at Sofia, ignoring Arizona. She couldn't talk about it anymore, not this.
"You know what, I'm going to stay behind." Arizona handed Callie the keys and walked off the elevator.
Callie sighed at the sight of Arizona walking away but this was all happening so fast and she needed to just have time to process this whole thing.
Sofia and Callie enjoyed a lunch together at a burger joint down the street from the hospital. Once they finished, Callie ordered Arizona her burger, she knew exactly how Arizona wouwould want it and she made sure to get a lot of ranch since Arizona did like ranch.
Once they returned to the hospital, Sofia went to play at the daycare with the bigger kids since school was out.
Callie went up to maternity to check on Arizona and give her the food. Once she got up there, Callie looked around trying to find the blonde she was no where to be found Callie went to the nurses station
"Where's Dr. Robbins?" Callie asked.
"Gallery 2, she is watching a surgery on an infant." The nurse replied. Callie nodded her head and got onto the elevator and pushed the floor to the Gallery's. She got off and walked to the door, opening it. There Arizona was, her face was covered with tear stains and she looked miserable.
"Hey, baby." Callie set the food down in a chair and walked over to Arizona, sitting down beside her and taking her hands. "Hey it's okay." Callie whispered, but then she felt Arizona pull away.
"No! No it's not okay. Because you didn't want to adopt this baby and now this baby is going to die! And she doesn't even have a family, Callie. Because you're too stubborn to marry me. So No, just leave me alone." Arizona got up and moved to another chai. Callie sat there in silence for a few minutes then opened her mouth.
"Arizona." She whispered.
"No! I don't want to do this." Arizona needed to feel Callie's embrace but she was tired of Callie getting her way. This baby's life is at risk and it's killing Arizona inside.
"Arizona listen to me!" Callie demanded, moving closer to the blonde.
"Arizona, I do want to marry you, more than anything in this world. I'm just terrified that you won't be happy again. Because if I fall for you again there is no turning back. I loved you the moment you kissed me in a bar bathroom, and I knew we were going to make it when you asked me on a date on that elevator. I hated you when you left me behind, and I hated myself when I couldn't forgive you. I didn't want that last conversation before the accident to be the only thing you remember. I fell more in love with you when I saw you for the first time holding our baby, I knew I couldn't live without you the moment I married you. I loved you through everything when you hated me. I believed in you when you didn't want to even walk after your accident, I stood beside you when you did it. I have been through it all with you and I forgave you when you cheated and I missed you when I walked away. And I can't get you out of my head, Arizona. You are it. I can't kiss another girl without thinking about you and every time I touched myself at night I thought about you. It's always been you and will always be you. So yes I want to marry you for real this time, papers and everything and I want to give you everything in the world." Callie sighed and looked at the blonde, tears in both of their eyes. "I love you, I know I left, but I'm right here and I'm willing to prove to you that I love you with every fiber of my being, Arizona. So Marry me." Callie whispered, tears were falling down her cheek as she waited for Arizona to answer her.
AU: I know this chapter was kind of short, but I like to leave a little question of what will happen next. I haven't decided if they should adopt a baby, but now we have Callie convinced and hopefully things will work out for them in their favor. And thank you for all the support you guys are awesome!
