"Wait!" repeated Mew with her tiny hand stretched out to signal to the other not to leave.
"I heard you the first time!" said Lapras with a bit of frustration in her voice. "Just what do you want? You're being annoying..."
Mew felt those words sting like an Ekans' acid. They were vile like the stench of 48 Grimer around a trash can fighting for food. Mew? Annoying? What kind of Lapras thought that! It was completely preposterous, to say the absolute least! Mew could feel her eyes watering with tears.
"W...why do you think that?" asked Mew rhetorically since she knew what the other was going to say, but she wanted to hear what Lapras would say anyways.
"Because who in their right mind would hug as excessively as you do? It's just too much for me to handle! Anyone, really!"
Mew couldn't say this was the first time she heard it, but it was the first time she heard it at a lake. Why wouldn't there be someone who could just accept her for the sweet pink Pokemon that she was? Unless...
Mew decided it was the best to leave Lapras alone, she flew away, but not before doing something. She used her psychic powers and created a whirlpool that sucked Lapras down to the bottom of the lake which was probably about 480 feet deep. Mew took this time to fly away and she soon found herself on the opposite side of the lake. The Lake of Rage!
The pine trees all around were blowing softly in the wind and it smelt very nice. It had that nice forest smell, but it also had that freshwater scent as well that helped Mew feel in touch with nature. She sighed and hoped that nothing would happen, which really seemed to happen unexpectedly with her at times. Mew looked at a tree and something come out of the tree on a string. It was a Metapod! And soon, a few Caterpie appeared as well. Even a Pokémon which was shaped like a grenade, Pineco. New giggled at the insect Pokemon but she then gasped. Bug types were one of her weaknesses!
"Hi!" Said the bugs as they approached Mew and swarmed her with hugs.
"no! Get away!" Warned Mew as she was now scared of them all. She didn't want any of them near her and she turned into a Charmabder, ready to use fire attacks to scare them away. They fled liked she plan, but then something started to appear...
