Travis POV

Everyone rushed to the edge of the lake, even Clarisse came even though she's still mad about losing the dual. When we got the the edge of the lake we could see that the lake seemed to be growing darker.

"Percy, can you get her out?!" I yell.

"I'm trying!" He yells back just as the lake explodes.

Ariella's POV

When the pink balloon hit me it felt like a brick. The skin between my wings are so sensitive that anything that hits there hurts a lot. I turned around to find Travis smirking at me. As I start walking towards him, the pink paint starts to feel like acid. I step falters and I fall to the ground, my wings crumpling beneath me, but I hardly feel it over the pain between my wings. As Travis rushes toward me, I reach toward the shadows to get away from him.

"Please..." I beg the shadows to take me away. The next thing I know is that I'm falling into the lake, it was as far as I could get away at the moment.

As I sink into the water I call the shadows to me, I use the shadows to heal me temporarily. My father has said that I need to be careful of my anger when I get hurt because I could loose control. But right now, I don't care. I was sent to protect the camp and all who reside in it, and in exchange campers prank me by throwing acid at my most sensitive skin. I tap the center if my black rose necklace. I'm completely encased in my armor in seconds. I can feel my eyes turning completely black with no whites, but I don't care. I'm here to protect them so in exchange they attack me. I will defend myself.

I spread my wings and launch into the air as the lake exploded around me. I called all the shadows from the camp to me. I throw some of the shadows to the camp barrier to completely encased the camp in darkness. I drew my sword as I landed in front of the crowd on the beach.

"Ariella, what are you doi-" Nico starts

"Eclipse" I answer harshly.

"Shadows, bind them! All of them!" I yell switching to Greek.

"Bring Conner and Travis with me!" I say as I lift off the ground and into the air. The shadows lift them and follow me. We are about a hundred feet in the air when I stop and remove my helmet so that they can see my eyes, my hair whipping around me in the wind.

"How does it feel to be vulnerable now?" I ask the Stoll brothers. If possible they seem to shrink even more than before.

"Shadows, drop them. But catch them 10 feet from the ground. Then bind them again." I command.

You could hear their screams all the way down.

"Now, what to do with the rest of you, since you obviously didn't try to stop the Stolls. Hmmm" I say thinking.

"Ariella, don't." Thanatos said appearing behind me.

"Father. Why are you here?" I ask, spinning around.

"Ariella, you can't harm the campers. They are needed for the coming war." Father commanded

"Fine. I won't harm the campers, but I can still scare them." I said turning back to the campers.

"Ariella, you are under orders to protect the campers, not harm or scare them. I order you to stop. The campers will needed soon." Hades commands, appearing next to Thanatos.

"But-" I start

"No." Hades, he comes forward and taps my forehead, causing the darkness in my eyes to fade, and the bindings on the campers to fail.

"Nico, take her to my cabin, she shouldn't be around the others right now." Hades said as I started to fall.

I felt arms picking me up as I blacked out once more.

Nico's POV

After Ariella's terrifing display of power, she blacked out when I picked her up. I carried her to the Hades cabins, though I'm worried, she hardly weighs anything. When I set her down on her bed, I press the center of her necklace to take off her armor. When she looks comfortable enough. I walked to the infirmary to get some ambrosia and nectar for Ariella, but it seems that the Stoll brothers are being punished until the end of the war. And everyone else seems to just be freaking out in general.

The Apollo kids where freaking out that she blocked out the sun. The Ares kids were saying that she will be good in battle. And the Nemesis kids were laughing at the Stolls. And everyone else is freaking out that she had the power to bind everyone.

When I finally got the ambrosia and nectar I walked back to the cabin to wait for her to wake up.
