Nimbus

Kagome couldn't get out of class fast enough and even Gohan had trouble keeping up with her. She didn't even bother to stop at her locker, merely stormed out of the school. He debated with himself for a second on whether or not to follow before blindly running after her. Nearly a block away from school, he finally caught up with her.

"Hey, wait up," he called out, grabbing her arm to slow her down. She shrugged his arm off of her, but stopped to face him. Concerned, he asked, "What was that all about?"

"Nothing," she stubbornly replied, refusing to meet his gaze.

He raised an eyebrow skeptically, but instead of calling her out on it he instead inquired, "Are you okay?"

"Yes…no, not really," she truthfully answered. She hated lying to him.

Gohan quickly made up his mind, he was going to cheer her up. "Are you babysitting today?

"No, why?"

"NIMBUS," he called out, ignoring her question. Kagome watched in awe as a yellow cloud floated by. Gohan stepped on it and looked at Kagome expectantly, hand out.

She swallowed nervously but took his hand, stepping onto the cloud with his assistance. Kagome had half-expected to fall right through, and was pleasantly surprised when she found herself standing alongside Gohan.

"Hold on," he spoke, smiling at her as he leaned forward, steering the cloud to go forward.

She was about to question him about where she should hold on when they suddenly picked up speed. Panicking, she grabbed hold of the demi-saiyan. She wrapped her arms tightly around his stomach, burying her face into his back.
