Gohan was running late. He had overslept that morning and if it hadn't been for his mom waking him up, he probably would've missed school completely. He hoped Kagome had gone on to class without him and hadn't waited up, having left his phone behind in his haste.

Landing on top of the high school, he quickly switched to his normal clothes. As he was running to class, he nearly tripped over his feet when he saw that he wasn't alone on the roof. It was a girl from his English class.

Nervously he told her he would see her there, while he berated himself for changing at school. Running to his seat, he wasn't too surprised to see that Kagome wasn't there. She hadn't been feeling well lately and figured she had stayed home.

He wished he had grabbed his phone. But he would just have to visit her once school was over, as he wanted her advice on about what to do about his current problem. By the time school was over, everyone was sure to know he was Saiyaman.

Gohan was caught off guard when the teacher was suddenly in his face. And before he knew it he was carrying water buckets outside the classroom. Today just wasn't his day.

He looked up to see the same girl from earlier joining him in punishment. Quietly, he said, "Hi."

"Gosh," she said, approaching the taller boy. "I was naughty too."

He let out a nervous chuckle, unsure what to do in this situation.

"Gohan."

She was starting to get a little too close to him for comfort. Stuttering, he asked, "Uhh, yeah, what?"

"Nothing, but do you have a steady girlfriend," she inquired, looking at him hopefully.

Kagome's face instantly flashed in his mind, but he shook his head to rid himself of the image. She was his best friend. Swallowing, he replied, "No, I don't."

She smiled brightly at him and said, "Wonderful. How about dating me then?"

Gohan didn't know how to respond. He barely knew the girl, didn't even know her name and he definitely wasn't interested in dating.

"You think I'm ugly," she started to cry.

He tried to placate her. "No, no. That's not true."

"Then why won't you go out with me if it's not true," she sobbed. Gohan was nearly in full panic mode when she switched gears and glared at the other boy. "If you don't go on a date with me tonight, I will tell everyone your secret!"

Gulping, Gohan reluctantly agreed.
