Override was taking a nap so Hot shot was tending to Swiftstar. "There, we go all changed." he said. The kissed his little three month old daughter on the head. Swiftstar cooed and snuggled against her father's chest.
But then got fussy. So Hot shot began to rock her.
"Daddy loves you so much." Hot shot said.
Swiftstar was starting to doze off.
Hot shot sat down and then continued to rock to Swiftstar. "Sleep my little angel." Hot shot said.
A couple of minutes later Swiftstar fell asleep. Hot shot then laid her down in her bassinet.
Override woke up. "Hey Override did you have a nice nap?" Hot shot asked.
"Yes and how is Swiftstar?" Override said.
"She's asleep." Hot shot said.
Override then looked at the bassinet and saw her little Swiftstar fast asleep.
Later that day they took their month old daughter out for fresh air. It was a nice sunny day. But this nice sunny day would turn into a panicked one.
Megatron sent out Thundercracker to kidnap the sparkling. Mudflap (who was tired of the cons but felt like he couldn't go back to his old friends) knew he had to do something.
Thundercracker came down in front of the little family.
"Override take Swiftstar and get out of here as fast as you can!" Hot shot said.
Override ran off with Swiftstar in her arms with Thundercracker in hot pursuit. Landmine sees Override rush by and sees Thundercracker after her.
Landmine decides to help because he knew what Thundercracker was after.
Mudflap saw what Thundercracker was after and he remember all Landmine did for him when he was child with no family and no where else to go. He had to save the child. To keep it from becoming a con and didn't want it to make the same mistakes he made.
Mudflap began to pursue.
Override hide behind a large tree and hoped Thundercracker wouldn't find her. But the seeker came out of no where and snatched the child out of her arms and flew off with it.
"No!" Override cried.
Mudflap saw Thundercracker grab the child and began pursuit that child belonged with her mother.
Mudflap then shot Thundercracker out the sky and caught Swiftstar by using a cyber key.
Landmine saw the whole thing.
Swiftstar was crying. "There, there little one old Mudflap's got you he won't hurt you." Mudflap said.
Landmine came up and asked him to rejoin the Autobots after Mudflap attacked thinking he was a threat to him and the child.
"I'm sorry for every thing." Mudflap said.
"You must forgive yourself." Landmine said. "You did do right by save Swiftstar," he said.
"So that is her name, she sure is cutie." Mudflap said.
Override and Hot shot met up with Landmine and a remorseful Mudflap they forgave Mudflap.
"Thanks Landmine for saving her." Hot shot said.
"Actually it is Mudflap who should be thanked. He saved her Thundercracker when he took her and from a fall I saw the whole thing He shot the seeker out of the sky and caught her." Landmine said.
Override kissed Mudflap's cheek. "Thank you Mudflap for saving my daughter." she said.
Swiftstar began to reach for Mudflap. "Look who wants Mudflap." Hot shot said.
"She wants me?" Mudflap asked.
"Yes she is reaching for you." Landmine said.
"Okay you little sweetie come here." Mudflap said taking her into his arms. Swiftstar was cooing she was happy.
Swiftstar yawned and snuggled into Mudflap's chest and fell asleep.
"Mudflap look." Landmine said.
"She's asleep." Mudflap said.
"Looks like she likes you." Hot shot said.
The other Autobots were amazed but were quiet because little Swiftstar was sleeping.
They headed for planet Gigantion. Override decided to come along with Hot shot because her maternity leave ended. Swiftstar had to come along she still needed Override nurse her.
Swiftstar was very fussy during the ship ride.
"Will you make her stop her crying is getting unbearable." Wing saber said.
"Maybe she is a little frightened by the sounds the ship is making." Red alert said. "The sounds must be making her audios hurt." he said.
"There, there sweetie daddy's here." Hot shot said rocking her.
Finally Swiftstar settled down. Then was nursed by Override.
"She has quite a healthy appetite." Red alert said.
"Yes and she is getting heavy." Override said.
"It's a sign that she's growing nice and healthy." Red alert said. "I can give her check up later if you like." he said.
"That would be nice I want know if she is growing strong and healthy." Override said.
"Yes I hope she is healthy." Hot shot said.
After leaving Gigantion Swiftstar got a check up. "Wow already 84.6 lbs and 48 inches long very healthy girl. Swiftstar she's growing like a weed." Red alert said.
A month passed by quickly and Swiftstar and was now about to have her first taste of Cybertronian or Velocitronian solid food.
"Okay purred Cyber-squash in." Override said giving Swiftstar a spoonful. Surprisingly swallowed it. "Looks like she ate it." Override said.
"Great job Swiftstar." Hot shot said.
Swiftstar was growing up fast. She likes all the Autobots even big ole Metroplex. She's not frightened by him. He is so big he can hold her with one hand.
"This little lass is a very sweet one." Metroplex said.
"Thanks," Override said.
Now six months old she was eating a variety of sparkling food along with the bottle. Swiftstar had started to lose interest in nursing. Override was a bit surprised at first. But Red alert said it was normal because many sparklings who are breastfed lose interest and soon Swiftstar will lose interest in her bottle and like to eat Cybertronian food and drink energon like a big girl.
Override accepted it but she missed the days when Swiftstar depended on her food.
Today Hot shot was about to give her a bath. "What are you doing laddie?" Quickmix asked.
"Oh it's that time of week when Swiftstar has her bath." Hot shot said.
"So it's bath time for the wee lass." Metroplex said.
"Yep," Hot shot said.
Hot shot cleaned her up and then pulled her out of the tub and wrapped her up in a warm and dry towel. After that he dried her off. "There all clean." Hot shot said.
Little Swiftstar was growing up fast. Hot shot and Override knew that she wouldn't be a sparkling anymore but toddler. But they knew she was going to spend at least twenty years with them. So they were going to enjoy her growing up.
