Disclaimer: I don't really write much anymore. But damn M, you said some of the nicest things in your reviews.

Kagome struggled with her bonds, desperately attempting to untie herself. She needed to get out of there, needed to stop Tsubaki and find out what she did with Yamcha.
"Keep struggling all you want, there's no escaping this time around," Tsubaki taunted as she combined their blood in ink. She readied her sutras and began to write. "You've grown weak since you lost the jewel. Weak and pathetic, just like that fool you call your father.
"Don't you talk about him like that," Kagome yelled, lunging at the dark priestess, only to fall over in her attempts. Tsubaki laughed in her face.
"Touched a nerve, have I," she said, standing over the younger girl. Her eyes flashed an ominous red as she placed the sutra on her chest. Kagome's eyes widened when it dissolved into her body, and she began thrashing around even harder. "Poor little bird, no InuYasha to save you this time."
At the mention of the half-demon's name, Kagome stilled. She was right, there would be no InuYasha rushing to her aide.
Tsubaki quickly backed away as Kagome suddenly let out a surge of power. The older priestess smiled as she felt the same power flow through her veins. Everything was going according to plan, well almost everything.
She summoned her shikigami. There were intruders to take care of now.
