...

They had been driving for hours when the truck started to slow down they were approaching the outskirts of the city. The truck started to rock when they drove over the rough turf leading into the thick woodland area.

The sounds of low tree branches smashing into the sides of the truck echo inside the metal shell.

"Where are we?" Leo asked leaning over between Alice and Robin's seats.

There was a dead silence before Alice put a hand on Robin's on the wheel. "Stop here."

Robin pulled into a soft halt, there was nothing around; the trees in front were lit by the headlights of the truck, making their surrounding eerie.

"We're here." Alice said softly before sliding the door up to jump out. Reaching under the seat she pulled out a torch and nodded to the others to follow her.

Robin jumped out and grabbed her own light walking round the front of the truck, standing next to Alice.

"Seriously, where are we?" Robin said quietly looking out into the trees.

"The bunker should be around here somewhere. Need to look for three stones..." Alice said distantly looking around.

"Threes stones, what for?" Robin pressed.

"They'll open the entrance to the bunker if you push them down." Alice explained walking around slightly shining her light on the ground.

"Alright guys, spread out! We're looking for three rocks that can be pushed." Robin ordered.

Leo felt a pang of annoyance at her tone, he was the leader of his ninja brothers...not her. He decided to let it go this once and start to look around.

"Everyone split up, Mikey you go with Raph, Donnie you're with me. Alice and Robin you take this area, we'll go search this end. If you find the rock push it and meet back at the truck." Leo ordered heading his direction with Donnie.

"Ugh! Why do I have go with Mikey every time!?" Raph grunted heading in the opposite direction.

"Yeah! I mean HEY!?" Mikey whined in the distance.

Robin frowned in Leo's direction. "That guy's got some serious chain of command issues..." She grunted following Alice.

Alice just chuckled. "He's the leader of their ninja group, you can't blame the guy." Alice said still looking around the ground.

"Yeah well when they're on their own, that's fine, they can play ninja as much as they want, but when they're on my mission, they had better learn to take orders." Robin huffed.

"Take it easy on them Robin, I don't think they've worked with anyone before." Alice smiled softly.

She felt something vibrate on her hip, digging into her packet she took out her phone. Flipping it open she saw she had a message from Raph. She smirked and read it.

'Found anything yet? Me and the baby turtle clinging to my shell in fear haven't found nothing yet...P.S Did I mention your ass looks hot in that leather?'

Alice bit down the large grin on her face before she started to text back.

"So how did you even find out about this bunker?" Robin asked from afar.

"Huh? Oh, it's...it was. That last night my family were together..." She said slowly.

Robin turned to look at Alice, she had a small smile on her face but Robin knew better how much this was hurting her.

She decided it was best to leave it at that.

...

"Ahhhhhhh!" Mikey scream made Raph cringe again.

"Mikey! What is it now!?" Raph snapped.

"Th-that tree looked like a creepy spider...with balloons..." Mikey said cowering behind Raph.

"Balloons...?" Raph repeated looking un-amused.

"Yeah dude! He bursts them with his finger needles!" Mikey screeched.

Raph sighed heavily. "You watch too many horror films Mikey..."

At that moment his belt buzzed, Raph smirked knowing it was his T-phone and pulled it out pressing a button to view the new message.

'Nothing yet...You think you've got it bad, try walking around with THE scariest woman...in the dark...

P.S No you didn't, can't imagine how hot your shell would look in leather...'

Raph smirked and started to type a reply, he cringed again when he heard Mikey scream again.

"What is it now Mikey?" Raph sighed.

"It's a tree that looks like a frog eating a rainbow...that's so sad..." Mikey whined.

A loud 'OW!' echoed in the dense trees when Raph struck Mikey round the back of the head.

...

"Well, sounds like Raph and Mikey are at it again..." Leo sighed. looking in the direction the sound came from.

"Why do you even put those two together if you know it'll happen?" Donnie asked as he pushed on a stone hoping it was the right one.

"Because I don't wanna be stuck with him, but hey, maybe I'll team you up with him next time if you're so concerned?" Leo teased cocking an eyebrow at him.

Donnie looked un-amused. "Being around him literally lowers my IQ level...and it hurts..."

Leo just rolled his eyes and lent don to another stone that looked odd at second glance, he pushed on it trying to push it down like a button. But when nothing happened he stood back up and huffed.

"Stupid rock..." Leo said before kicking the stone. "Ow!" Leo started to hop holding his sore foot in his hands.

A Loud rumble stopped him still gaining Donnie's attention. They looked down to see the rock had moved across the ground like a lever.

" Well, that's one..." Donnie shrugged.

"Guess we should head back to the truck." Leo suggested starting to walk back.

...

Alice felt her phone vibrate and was just about to reach for it when Robin called Alice over.

"Alice, I think I found one." Robin called.

Alice made her way over to her, a slight pang of stupid excitement from just getting a text from Raph. She felt a school girl.

She smiled shaking her head as she approached Robin kneeling by a large rock.

"What are you grinning at?" Robin asked curiously.

" Uh, oh-nothing. Slid the rock to the left if it's the right one it should unlock one of the three rocks." Alice said pointing down at the rock.

Robin's attention was turned back to the rock, setting her flash light down she pushed on the rock until it slid to the left. The ground rumbled again as the second lock unhinged.

"Nice, let's head back to the Truck, hopefully the others have been just as successful." Alice smiled warmly helping Robin up and handing her torch to her before heading back where they came from.

...

When they reached the truck, all four turtles were waiting there.

"Hey guys, how long have you been waiting?" Alice's eyes drifted to Raph momentarily. She looked away instantly when she saw that signature smirk in his face. Damn turtle knows what that look does to me...she scorned him to herself.

"We got here first, then these guys turned up." Leo said shrugging over to Raph and Mikey.

"Yeah, turns out that Mikey's head was a moving rock seeker...who'd of known." Raph shrugged not taking his smirk off of Alice.

"I-whada-uh-rocks..." Mikey drawled with a concussion.

"I think you broke him..." Donnie said pointing slightly concerned at Mikey.

"Pfft! You mean fixed him, he's not bin dis quiet since...he's never bin dis quiet..." Raph corrected.

"Fair enough..." Donnie shrugged.

"So what exactly did those rocks open?" Leo asked looking to Alice.

Alice smiled and pointed behind them. "That..."

Everyone looked to where she was pointing, a part of the ground had opened, when they moved closer, they could see stairs leading down into the earth.

"Yeah...that looks...safe.." Donnie gulped.

Alice pushed a button just inside the staircase, but it just clunked every time she pushed it.

"Damn power must have been cut...I can get to the emergency power but it's inside." She said looking up at everyone.

"Alright, I'll go first." Robin said approaching the opening.

"Why should you get to go first?" Leo said standing in front of her.

"Pfft, no offense kid, but I've had a lot more training, trust me, you'd do well to stick behind me rather then in front..." Her tone threatening.

"Is that a threat?" Leo growled moving closer to her.

"Take from it what you will, it's advise if nothing else..." Robin smirked enjoying the confrontation.

"I'm the leader to protect my brothers I don't trust anyone else to take that responsibility." Leo argued his hand rested on the hilt of his sword.

Robin's smirk darkened. "You don't want to do that...Kid..."

They were pushed away from each other when Alice stood between them.

"Guys! Now is not the time, you can compare weapon sizes later. Right now, it's called working together, no leader, no followers, just a team. Got it? Besides you're scaring Mikey..." Alice said sternly looking between the two.

They both looked at each other then at Mikey who was cowering behind an un-amused Raph. They backed down looking at Alice. "Fine!" Robin shrugged.

"Fine!" Leo repeated.

"Good, now lets go...Raph and I will take point, Donnie and Mikey mid and You two will take the rear." Alice ordered.

"What? How come you get to take point!?" Robin whined.

"Yeah and why do I have to take rear with her!?" Leo argued next to Robin.

"Because I know the way and you two are best on guard at the back, just deal with it." Alice said sternly.

"But Ali-kins!?" Robin whined childishly.

"Don't you start with me Robin or you're sleeping on the couch again." Alice teased.

"Aw Nooo Ali-kins!" Robin whined further.

Alice just laughed and started down the stairs with the others behind, and Raph at her side. Only the light of the scattered torches everyone held lit the way.

There was a guarded silence whilst they walked down deeper into the darkness of the bunker.

"So..." Raph whispered at Alice's side. "My shell in leather huh?"

Alice could hear the smirk in his tone forcing the corners of her lips to tug up into a smug smile.

She shrugged. "A girl can dream..." She replied casually trying not hide her excitement.

"I thought you preferred I walk around pretty much as naked as a turtle gets? Now I have to make an effort?" He teased.

"I guess I just though it would be fair play given you've seen me in my leathers..." Alice continued.

"I guess, but it doesn't count that I didn't get to see you put them on..." Raph smirked.

"Well in order for you to see me put them on again...I'd have to take them off first..." Alice purred under her breath.

Raph just rumbled from his chest, the moment was snapped when they heard coughing from behind them. They turned to see Donnie and Leo blushing looking around, Robin glaring down at them and Mikey acting as if nothing was happening.

"Yeah, believe it or not, in this dark empty bunker, we can even hear you whispering!" Robin snapped under her breath.

Alice and Raph looked at each other and smothered a snicker. Continuing down the staircase they finally came to a metal door.

"Argh! Not another lock!" Raph grunted.

"Ah! No more rocks!" Mikey panicked covering his head with his hands.

Alice blew on a console blowing the dirt and cobwebs away from a button panel.

She punched in six digits and the door lit up and swung open.

"Your birthday?" Robin said from behind her.

Alice looked over to her and nodded before walking through the new opening.

" I can't see a thing..." Robin grumbled.

"Just give me a sec...ugh! Damn The console's been destroyed, I can't get the emergency power up..." Alice groaned. She looked up when she heard knuckled cracking above her.

"Leave this to me!" Donnie said smugly before leaning down and fiddling with the console wires.

It didn't take long for Donnie to get the emergency power generator back online, the lights started to hum and the room became much clearer to them in the dense white lights.

"Woah, what a set up..." Donnie gasped stepping backwards tripping on something.

He turned to see what it was. When he looked down he could see massive dark splatter stains on the floors and walls, and the same mark from the pictures of Archangel marked on the concrete wall.

"Alice...this is..." Donnie started unable to take his eyes off the horrific sight.

Alice walked over to him to see the same thing, though her face was unchanged at the sight.

"Robin, you'll want to take a look around. Take whatever will help with your investigation. Including pictures of the mark left here. They're the same as the ones left at the scout murder scenes." Alice said casually.

Robin almost cringed at the sound of her flat voice; it was so un-Alice that it hurt for her to even hear it.

She walked up to Alice and placed a hand on her shoulder. Alice did nothing, un-moving her eyes glued to the stains that had scared the concrete of the bunker.

Raph was just about to approach Alice when Leo announced from the room on the far side of the bunker.

"Guys I think I found something!" Leo called.

Everyone including Alice turned to him and followed his summoning arm to the other room. Raph and Alice's eyes didn't meet when she turned, he wasn't sure what to do or how to feel. But he didn't leave more then half a metre between them as they walked.

When they entered the room there were a series of monitors some showing white noise and other still pictures.

"What is this?" Robin said walking closer to the desk next to Leo.

"I don't know. But look…" Leo pressed a button on the keyboard and one of the monitor started to play.

The picture showed a few people in a room talking. Robin moved closer to the screen.

"That's the guy that we found dead at the Military bunker." Robin confirmed.

Alice looked to Robin then back at the monitor when the sound started playing.

"Is it all set?" One of the men asked.

"Yes, there are 10 of them in there at the moment. I don't see the need to send in anymore, could risk suspicion." The other more lanky men answered.

"All their backgrounds have been wiped?"

"Yes, it wasn't easy. But there's no record of them anywhere." The lanky guy answered again.

"That's good, but you're right anymore with the same 'circumstances' would raise suspicion. What about The Blades?" The scout infiltrator asked.

"They're out of the loop, at least as far as we know. We haven't sent them any Intel."

"Good, the less they know the better. Operation 'Archangel' will out first step to controlling the military."

When the video paused Alice had been frowning. "Well that was informative…" She finally said.

"Your parents were out of the equation, wasn't it your sister who founded Archangel?" Robin asked looking to Alice.

It took her a moment to answer. "Yeah, once she had control of my parents…The Blades assets it developed into a full-blown organisation. I assumed it hadn't been around for long, but it sounds it had been in the workings right under The Blades noses…"

There was a moment of silence before robin continued. "Alice, we have to get to the archangel building. Maybe there's a secret level or room where she kept all of her Intel, but if you parents-I mean The Blades were kept out of the loop then…"

"I get it…" Alice snapped slightly not looking away from the TV. "Just take what you need and we'll head there now.

A small cough echoed from the back. "Alice, it'll be daylight in just a few hours, we can't…" Leo started.

"It's alright Leo, the building should have been wiped by now. They'll be no one there; we'll sneak into the basement level with the truck and work our way around." Alice explained a little softer.

Leo felt the wind blown from his sails; he just nodded with a determined expression.

Alice nodded in return. "Sooner we get this over and done the better." Alice turned to leave the room. "I'll be in the truck, just take what you need Robin."

Alice left the room. Robin reached a hand out to catch her but decided against it and let her go. Raph looked to Robin before following Alice out.

"We'll help you gather some bits." Leo said kindly to Robin.

Robin looked to Leo nodding. "Thanks…"

"I maybe able to salvage some data from these computers, I'll get to work." Donnie said sitting at the desk and fiddling on the keyboard.

Robin offered a small smile before sighed heavily and starting to rustle through some of the stuff lying around.

Mikey walked over to another desk and moved a few bits of paper revealing a hula dancer wobbly figure. Mikey poked its hips making them wobble. He giggled to himself and kept poking it before whipping it off the table and burying it in his shell. He walked away whistling a nonchalant tune.

When Raph came out of the bunker back outside, he saw the sky was turning a pinky-blue as the sun started to rise. He looked over to Alice who was already sat in the passenger, her arm resting on the door looking out of the window.

Raph felt a pang of pain in his chest; his heart was doing that swelling thing whenever he was around her. He walked over and got into the driver seat, closing the door behind him he sat back and sighed as if he had just run a marathon.

They sat in silence, it didn't take to long before Alice just turned in her seat and rest her head on Raph's shoulder her hair draped down to his chest on the front of his shell, it tickled him slightly.

Raph smiled and ran his hand through her loose locks. "Your hair's gotten longer…" He said casually.

Alice just shrugged.

"I remember it bein' much shorter when I found ya in the sewers…I thought you were a boy when I first saw ya…" Raph continued.

Alice felt a tug at the corner of her lips before lifting her fist and punching him weakling in the shoulder.

Raph just chuckled. "Let me guess, I'll be payin' for that one later?" His voice teasing.

Alice just gave a short throaty chuckle. "God I hope so…" She said weakly.

Raph smiled and was just about to wrap another arm around her when his door was flung open making Raph in his seat.

Robin glared at him, her eyes white.

"Gah! Hey! I thought only we could do dat' wit our eyes!?" Raph whined.

Robin gave off a growled showing her teeth causing Raph to slowly move out of the driver seat and into the back of the car.

Robin smirked and got into the driver seat; looking to Alice she was back sitting facing the window.

Robin's smirked faltered slightly, she started the car once everyone was in and reversed out of the woodland area heading back towards the city.

"Mikey, what's that?" Leo pointed to something wobbling out of the front of his shell.

Mikey took the hula dancer figure out and flick it making it wobble. "I found it…isn't cooool!?" Mikey said staring hypnotise at the figure.

"There is something seriously wrong with you…" Leo shook his head.
