ENJOY!
Leo grunted when he pulled himself off of the shower floor. He rubbed the back of his head and squeezed his eyes closed in pain before looking up. He blinked a few time helping his vision return to normal. He tried to remember what he was doing in here, and then he saw his bandana on the hook in front of him. His eyes widened suddenly in realization.
"Ugh…nooo…" He groaned resting his hands on the shower wall. Shaking his head to try and will the memory away, he felt a sudden hand on his shoulder.
He turned around briskly, pupils dilated when he saw Alice stood behind with an apologetic look on her face. He stood perfectly still when she reached for his bandana and handed it to him.
Alice sighed heavily before speaking. "I want to apologise for earlier…I know I'm probably making things awkward by hanging around quite a bit…" Alice said rubbing the back of her neck.
Leo put both hands up and shook them. "No-no! I don't want you to apologise for that, it's good to see Raph actually happy. Not to mention he hits us all less when you're around…" Leo jested smiling awkwardly, a smart flush bristled his cheeks.
"Heh…well I don't want things to be awkward so I wanted to apologise…and I-" Her words were cut short when Donnie called out to everyone from his lab.
"GUYS! GET IN HERE!" His voice sounded strained.
Alice and Leo looked at each other before they both bolted out of the shower room. Leo flung himself over the railing whilst Alice sped down the staircase. When they reached the lab they both saw Donnie sat at his desk looking at his laptop screen.
"What is it?" Leo pressed walking up to him with Alice.
Donnie looked up from his laptop to Alice. "Alice! Good you're here! You need to see this…" Donnie turned the laptop so they could see the screen. An image of what looked like a map with a blinking red dot was displayed.
Alice cocked an eyebrow at him. "What…exactly am I looking at here genius?"
Out of nowhere Mikey zipped in next to Alice with a smug look on his face. "My dictations…dictate that, that! Is a blinking. Red. Dot!" Mikey chirped proudly pointing his finger in the air.
Everyone's eyes where on him with looks of amazement. "Can I hit him this time?" Alice asked looking to the others.
"Nah! That's my job…" Raph voice sounded from behind her.
"OW!" Mikey whined rubbing the back of his head from Raph's assult.
Alice and Raph shared a short knowing smirk before looking back to Donnie.
"Donnie, out with it! What are you showing us?" Leo leant on the desk slightly exasperated.
"Ok, ok. When Robin was here I planted a tracking device on her. The tracking device is set to inform me of any unusual activity." Donnie started.
Alice just cocked an eyebrow at him. "Little obsessive don-cha think?"
"Just listen, her vital signs are weak and she's been in the same spot for the past 6 hours…" Donnie explained further.
"She could just be sleeping…" Alice reasoned.
"In the Archangel tower?!" Donnie expressed tapping the map on the screen.
Alice took a closer look at the screen, her eyes widened by the second when realization kicked in. Before anyone could speak or even blink she whisked around and headed for the large metal cabinet where Robin had stored some necessary things for her.
"Ali? What do you want to do?" Raph said watching her as she pulled out hoards of weapons from the cabinet.
"I'm gunna go get her." Alice said sternly before heading out of the lab to the stairs to changed into her leathers.
Everyone looked at each other before following her. "Alice, let us go with you." Leo reasoned.
They followed her to Raph's room without thinking but before they witnessed anything Alice slammed the door shut to change.
"Robin has kept our secret to herself knowing full well what she could gain from telling the military, she deserves our help!" Leo called through the door.
"I ain't letting ya go alone anyways…so I'm goin." Raph said leaning against the closed door.
"And I can keep track of her vitals signs as we make our way there. We can all help." Donnie suggested.
"Yeah! And I can…uhh…" Mikey tapped his chin thinking, everyone looked at him, then after too long looked back at the closed door.
"Besides-Shredder is probably behind this, this is our fight as much as it is yours!" Leo reasoned. All they could hear were random clicked and zip before she finally emerged armed to the teeth with a determined face on.
"I never said any of you couldn't come…" She said simply.
The turtles nodded at her. "We need a ride…" she said again.
"Got that covered!" Donnie chirped proudly.
Donnie smirked before pressing a button on a remote he pulled out of his belt. Once of the walls of the lair started to rumble and lifted from the ground slowly revealing a large truck.
"Woah Donnie! You've been sprucing her up! Are those missiles?" Leo rose an eyebrow at the truck pointing at the large missile launchers on the sides.
"Yep! Well, garbage missile launchers…" Donnie corrected.
"It'll do, wee need to get to the archangel tower. I've got a feeling we missed something." Alice said making her way down the staircase to the truck.
"How could we of, we've scoped the whole place out…" Donnie argued.
"Haven't you noticed there wasn't much of an evil-doers lair, it just looked like a normal office? There's got to be a level we've missed." Alice explained walking up to the truck and running a hand over the door.
"I guess…the best way to check would be to…"
"Mikey, you still have your key?" Alice asked interrupting Donnie.
"Yeah dude!" Mikey dug his hand into the front of his shell ruffling around until he took out a small key.
"There was a key hole in the elevator…" Alice explained.
Donnie snapped his fingers. "Of course! Maybe the key will take the elevator to an unknown level."
"Yeah genius, we caught on…" Raph grumbled.
"Lets go." Alice tucked the key into her pocket and got onto the truck.
When the others got in they were taken back by the sight of Alice in the driver seat turning the truck on.
"Uh, Alice? That's uh…that's my seat." Leo said clearing his throat.
"I'd buckle up if I were you…" Alice smirked lowering the ramp in front of her that lead to the surface.
"Wait what-?" The turtles said simultaneously before they were lurched backwards hitting the back doors of the truck as Alice slammed her foot on the pedal.
Leo pulled his head out from under Donnie. "Raph, your girlfriend's gunna kill us all!" He scorned.
…
Robin woke up, her body stiff from pain, blinking her eyes open stiffly. Wrists hung awkwardly from above, her knees stung from constant contact with the stone floor.
Her hands tightened into fists, trying to shake her arms awake, the chains rattled and reality dawned on her. Her head snapped up suddenly, her eyes met with a wall of large metal bars.
"Shit…" She grumbled her head dropping once again. She could see, looking down at herself that all of her weapons and gadgets had been taken, not that she was surprised.
In the distance she could hear the sound of a large door opening followed by loud footsteps. Her long hair hung curtaining her face from her capture that stood at her prison.
"I trust you slept comfortably." A female voice sounded.
Robin lifted her head just enough to cause her hair to part slightly, revealing a fierce narrowed eyes looking up through the bars.
"My name is Karai, and I'll be your capturer this evening." Her sarcastic voice rang against the stonewalls.
Robin just huffed through a grin and lowered her head, not giving her the satisfaction of eye contact.
"Well, aren't you just adorable…You're wearing far too much make-up for your age kid." Robin cooed.
Karai hit a button on the side to lift the metal bars, storming towards her, she grabbed Robin's ponytail and lifted her head.
Robin grunted at the pain of her hair about to tears from her scalp, she eyes the woman down non-the-less.
"So cocky for someone who got their troop killed, there's no one left to rescue you." Karai leant in closer holding the blade of her katana against robin's throat.
"I would kill you, if we didn't need you. Once my master is through with you, I'll get that little luxury." She smirked.
Robin just smirked and spat in the girls face causing her to let her hair go. Robin hissed when her body made harsh contact with the stone floor, she rolled onto her knees, unable to do much else.
Karai shrieked and aimed her katana for her, but was stopped by a large hand on her wrist.
"Behave child! Her time will soon come. Until then I need her, alive." The same booming voice Robin had heard before rung against the dungeon walls. She looked up to see a figure shrouded in black, three blades protruding from his hand shone in the little light coming through the small curbside opening above her cell.
Before Robin had time to say anything he approached her, his eyes glaring down at her through the gap in his helmet. Robin just smirked shaking her head slightly.
"Let me guess? Hideous and embarrassing scar, was never loved as a child, lost the woman you loved to a childish feud…I assume because of the ridiculously excessive armour you're wearing." Robin rambled.
A throaty growl echoed from behind the lager man, Karai wasn't happy with her teasing her daddy it would seem. It only made Robin's smirk widen.
Shredder gave a short huff as if impressed. "You will take us into you military camp, unseen." He stated simply.
Robin smirked, lifting her head. "Over my dead body." She growled.
Shredder recoiled at the intense blood hazed glare she shot him. A rumble left his chest when he drew closer to her face. "When I'm done with you, you'll have wished for death much sooner." He moved away and waved a hand to signal to Karai. The dark-haired Kunoichi smirked darkly before approaching Robin hitting her upside the head with the hilt of her blade, knocking her to the floor.
Robin felt blood rush to her head at the point of impact, she hadn't blacked out, but she felt disorientated. Suddenly she felt her body being dragged against the stone floor, her limbs were still bound and her nerves were too shot to struggle. It wasn't until she was thrown into the back of something hitting her head, that she finally blackout.
…
"Alice! Robin location is moving…fast!" Donnie yelled over the sound of screeching tires and struggling engine.
"What do you mean she's moving!?" She called out form the steering wheel.
"She must be in a vehicle, it's fast and it's…" he paused observing the dot on the map of the streets around them. "IT'S HEADING STRIGHT FOR US!"
The others came to look at the map over Donnies shoulder. "BANK RIGHT! BANK RIGHT!" Leo yelled.
"On it!" Alice turned the steering wheel harshly, hitting the handbrake until the truck turned on it's axis, facing the other way. The turtles were thrown about in the back of the truck at the sudden motion.
"Ugh…I think I'm gunna barf…" Mikey gargled from the back.
Just like magic, a fast van past them heading up street, "Hold on!" Alice called back, putting the car into drive again heading straight for the van.
"Donnie, which way did they go!?" Alice called loosing sight of them.
Donnie climbed back up to the monitor from the floor, gripping it tightly. "Your next…uh…left!" He mumbled rubbing his head.
Another sharp turn to the left and they were back in her sights. "I've a bad feeling I know where they're heading…" she mumbled to herself taking another sharp turn to follow on their tail.
"We need to stop the van! Does this thang have anything to slow them down!" Alice called back again, wheels screeching against the tarmac.
"I'm on it!" Leo called. "Raph, take the turret!"
"No problem." Raph smirked before strapping himself into the sewer ball turret. "Firing!" Raph called, aiming up the scope and firing sewer balls at the van in front. The first three missing, but the next hit the rear, causing the truck to skid.
"Awww-yeah! Now Leo!" Raph called.
Leo pushed the top of the truck lid up and threw a few shuriken, aiming for the tires. One hit the back tired flattening it immediately.
Alice rolled her eyes. "You guys are such bad shots!" She teased. "Leo take the wheel!"
Leo came down and took the wheel instantly, as soon as his hands were on the leather wheel Alice leant out the window and shot a few round from her pistol at the truck taking out two more tires. The truck wobbled and skidded before it started to tip, Alice leant back in and grabbed the top of the wheel pulling it her way to circle round the van as it stopped.
Leo hit the brakes driving the truck to a halt before the side door popped open and everyone got out heading for the van.
"ROBIN!" Alice called climbing onto the side of the van pulling the door open. Lowering herself in, she looked around but found it empty, on the inside, taped to the wall of the van was Robin tracker and in the front was a camera.
"Shit!" Alice cursed punching the inside of the wall. She heard the other calling her from outside the van, asking if she had found anything. After some time, she climbed back out, her head hung and her hands balled into tight fists.
"It was a decoy…we don't know where she is." She said under her breath.
"What!? How the shell did they know we were tracking her?" Donnie exclaimed feeling useless.
"Oh god! What if SHE IS THE VAN!" Mikey exclaimed sipping over to the van to hug the bonet. "It's alright Robin, Donnie will change you back." He cooed.
There was a moment of silence of everyone starring at Mikey's madness before Leo spoke up.
"Everyone calm down, we need to think of where she could be." He offered, at that moment they all looked at Alice.
"Alice, in the van you said you had a feeling you knew where they were going…" Raph asked placing a hand on her shoulder.
Her head was still hung but her hand relaxed and the simple touch. "Robin talked about mercenaries sneaking into the military base camp, I've got a feeling they were using special ops personal to sneak in, then killed them so they couldn't talk. That's probably why they wanted her. She's got access to pretty much everything, she's high ranking, they're using her to get into the military base camp just outside of New York." She explained, forcing back threatening tears in the corners of her eyes.
"Can't you just warn them about it." Donnie pressed.
Alice shook her head defeated. "I'm no longer special ops, they'll want to know how I got involved I can't let them…" she paused. "I can't let them know I exist."
There was silence before Leo took a step closer to her. "So, we beat them to it…we're ninjas, we can sneak into anything."
Alice looked up at him then. "I can't let you go in there, you might not come back out…" She hesitated.
"That's for us to decide doll face." Raph spoke up. He moved to stand next to Leo.
"We're with you Alice, we just need a plan." Leo offered.
"I might have something that would help…" Donnie spoke up, walking up to Alice between Leo and Raph. He dug into his belt and took out with looked like an ID card.
Handing it to Alice, she took it and inspected the piece of plastic cover card. Turnign it over, it revealed a picture of her and her old SO Id code. She looked up at Donnie. "Where did you get this?"
"Shredder had it in that creepy room with all the security feeds. I thought it best to take it…though that's probably the reason they came after Robin, because they didn't have this anymore." Donnie spoke quietly looking at the ground in shame.
Alice's eyes widened before closing them and resting a soft hand on his shoulder. "It's alright Donnie, either way, we have a way into the camp now. Thank you." She kissed his cheek lightly, if only to make him feel better.
The rest were stunned but Raph just smiled, he knew what she was doing. It was the kindness in her that he had fallen for to begin with.
Donnie blushed and held a hand to his cheek where she had kissed him.
"Let's go." She said smirking.
Donnie nodded with determination along with the others, out of nowhere Mikey suddenly whined. "So this isn't Robin then…?" His arms still around the bonnet of the car, looking innocently at the others.
"No Mikey…" Everyone said simultaneously before heading to the Shellrazor.
Mikey drew away from the tipped over van kicking the tire. "Damn it…" He sulked stomping back to the truck with the others.
"So we've got a way in…now what?" Raph said from the back of the truck.
"Now we split up…I can't get us all in and I'm not expecting to do any fighting, this is a stealth mission. Two of you need to head to The Blades bunker in the woods, whilst two of you come with me." Alice explained form the driver seat.
"What are we supposed to do at the bunker?" Donnie protested.
"There's a channel that has access to all security feeds inside the military base. We'll need those two to keep communications and lead us through." She continued.
"Got it, Donnie and Mikey, you'd better head to the bunker, you're better with tech and Mikey…isn't stealthy…" Leo ordered.
"Oh yeah! Team A- all the way!" Mikey exclaimed. "Wait…what did he say?" Reality dawning on him always a little too late.
"Got it, we'll head there now." Donnie walked over to the side of the truck getting into a separate capsule dragging Mikey along with him.
"Awwww I wanted to go to the base camp!" Mikey's whining echoed from the pod as the door closed on them. The capsule ejected into a separate small vehicle and zoomed off in the direction of the woods.
"Leo, take the wheel I'll update the co-ordinates to the bas camp. Should only be about half an hour away." Alice stood from the seat and Leo took her place replacing her hands with his on the steering wheel. She made her way to the map console and tapped in the co-ordinates, when she pressed enter the location was updated. Something caught her attention as she about to move back to the driver seat. She turned to see Raph smirking at her.
Alice coked her hip and rested her hand over it raising a questionable brow. "What?"
Raph shrugged. "Nothin' you're just a little bossy…taking control….ordering us around…"
Alice's brow furrowed slightly. "So?" She snapped.
Raph just smirked. "It's hot…" He said darkly.
Alice's scowl turned into a deep smile, she didn't move when Raph moved away from the wall and towards her.
"Is that so?" She purred when he got close enough for him to hear. She tried not to shiver when he grasped her hip and pulled her against him.
"And the leather isn't helping either…" He rumbled, moving his face closer to hers, his eyes boring intensely.
Alice felt her knees wobble under the pressure of it but found stability resting against the front of his chest, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"I could always take it off…if you need help concentrating." She whispered, their lips closing him and he groaned in approval.
"Guys, get your own truck if you wanna do that, this is a no smooch zone." Leo called form the driver seat.
Raph and Alice pulled away from each other, looking a little flushed. Raph just growled in Leo's direction but was cut off when Alice suddenly grabbed the front of his shell and smashed her lips against his.
He had barely enough time to react, because a little too soon, she pulled away and looked at him. "To be continued…" She moved back to sit at the map monitor giving Raph a knowing glance.
Raph felt his shell tighten but pushed the sensation back and took charge at the turret to keep an eye out around them.
"It's never hot when I order anyone around…" Leo grumbled under his breath.
Alice smirked. "Try wearing leather…" she teased.
Leo felt his face flush and ignored her comment, finding it hard to think of anything else…
