[Author's note: Sorry it has been a while since an update, holidays kinda swept me away but not I am back and ready to get book one complete as soon as possible! Also note that some of the fighting in this chapter is not 100% accurate because 1: I have had no fighting training and 2: I am not really good with fighting scenes.]

There was a loud crash coming from outside the castle. It was good timing also because Naraku had place his ice cold hands on your back. He seemed calm as he stopped what he was doing.

"It seems we have some guests…" he stated as he stood up. Mayakashi just watched from the corner of the room.

"Shall I deal with them?" he asked. Naraku just chuckled and headed to the door.

"No, just stay while I deal with them. Guard the girl." Was the last thing spoken before he left the room. The door shut and the air was dense. Mayakashi looked to me, and I just tried not to look at him. His smile grew a bit smug as he came closer to me and sat in front of my face.

"Well it seems that we have a bit of time…" he softly spoke as he placed his hand on my upper leg. NOPE! I quickly withdrew from him. I slid as far as I could before I hit the wall with my back. He just smiled bigger and came closer yet again. "I like a good fight…" he said when he grabbed my arm and pulled me to the ground. G-R-O-S-S! I didn't really wait around to find out what was coming next, I kicked him away. I didn't know my own power, or new power. I kicked him so hard that he hit the wall, even sent him through the wall! Wow…um…opps? I just sat up a bit in shock. Mayakashi was not moving. I began to panic a bit, stood up really quickly and then ran out of the room through the hole I made. I didn't really know the way around the castle so I just ran. Anywhere was better than that room where Mayakashi was bound to wake up and become angry. As I ran, the sounds of crashing became louder and louder…almost like thunder at this point. I ran so fast that I didn't really notice what I tripped over, but I tripped. It seemed like one of those cartoons where when the character crashes, they roll like a giant wheel into the wall then get hit in the head with something heavy after it is all said and done. I did in fact roll, and I did hit the wall, and I DID get something heavy dropped on my head.

"OW!" I yelled as I rubbed my head and looked to see what had caused my comical fall. It was…Jaken?! I would have been happier, if I was not frustrated with my head being hit that is. He just turned to me and then bowed.

"Excuse me My Lady, I am looking for a human girl…could you maybe tell me if you have seen her?" he asked in the most polite way I have EVER seen him…period. I rubbed my head more and closed my eyes.

"It's me you idiot…" I told him.

"…I am sorry, have we met before?" he asked a bit confused. I just looked to him with a bit of frustration.

"Yes, in your dreams lover boy, IT IS ME YOU DUMBASS!" I said with a bit more 'force'. I almost shuddered when I said that. As if. He looked me up and down and paused for thought. His eyes lit up as he hopped up and ran to me.

"I-It is really you?" he yelled in my face. I slowly stood up also noting I was a bit taller, sweet.

"Yes, they did this thing and now I look like this…is there a problem?" I asked trying to tug my short sleeves down. Note to self: Get new clothes. When I looked back down to Jaken he had some what a panic look in his face.

"They woke your demon form this soon? That is not good!" he said in a rushed tone. Well I kinda understood that I was like a full-blooded demon now…or something, but why was that bad? I felt the ground shake a bit from what was going on outside, then a loud roar coming from the direction I came from. Uh oh…someone didn't have a good nap.

"We need to get outta here, and FAST!" I told Jaken as I quickly grabbed him by his little arm and began to run again. Somehow it seemed like I have ran the fastest I have ever ran! It sort of had a calming effect on me. I had managed to make it at least out of the castle right before I was tackled down in the most violent way possible. I released Jaken's hand and ended up crashing into a tree pretty hard while someone was on top of me. When my eyes focused it had been indeed Miyakashi, pinning me down.

"How rude of you to leave before the real fun begins. I hope you know that you wont make it out there on your own." He said to me, inches from my face. What the heck did that mean? I was a Mother-Fudging DEMON now! I can handle anything! I used my strength the best I could to push him off yet again only this time he just fell back in a fighting stance. I stood up and there we were, locking in a stare off that can only be compared to those in the old western movies. The showdown was laid before me. Only one problem…I was not really sure how to fight hand-to-hand combat. My specialty is self defense, NOT actual combat. Crap, what sis I get myself into now? I suppose I could apply my self-defense training to this? He grew a smug grin as he began to approach me, slow heavy steps toward me. I stood my ground as best as I could. I just have to keep telling myself I can do this, I can fight! He quickly disappeared. Now THAT is textbook cheating! I felt his meat claw of hands wrap around me, on over my stomach area and the other around my throat. His grip began to tighten. I quickly used his weight against him and flung him over my shoulders, quickly grabbing hold of his back and locking his head between my legs. Yes, ladies and gentleman, I did IN FACT jump down and let his oversized head crash with my weight and his. I released quickly and backed off, there was a hole in the ground from which his body was sticking out of. MAN that was a rush! I have never felt more alive in my whole- oh man he is getting up. CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP! I thought I had him! He just shook his head as I took advantage of the situation and went to a kick to the head. He saw this and without much notice grabbed my leg and then threw me into yet ANOTHER tree. DAMN WITH ALL OF THESE TREES! I was a bit in shock and pain, sitting there and waiting for the pain to subside so that I may stand. Miyakashi was looming closer and closer. "You know, we could have been good together, serving under Naraku. We still can if you stop resisting your fate! You did this the last time and it is not as enjoyable. Last time? That is when I fuller remembered what happened, my final memory of when I died…Miyakashi killed me. Flashbacks of that day were being played in my head.

I was making a break from Naraku's castle after he gave me my full-demon powers. It was raining so I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I sensed Miyakashi coming from behind but that was normal, he might have stuck around to kill Naraku and then caught up to me. He started to fight me, the battle is a bit hazy but I remember laying in the cold mud, rain beating down on me as Miyakashi took out his weapon and…

My rage began to swell. How was it possible for someone who was loyal to me possible betray me. I felt a black aura grow in m soul, regretting me. I stood up, Miyakashi stopped in his tracks to study my movements.

"…traitor, you filthy traitor…" The words crawled out of my mouth like water not yet swallowed. In an instant my whole outlook was different. I saw red from my rage and only focused on him. "How could you betray me you ugly mongrel…" it seemed like my whole personality had changed, like I was watching a movie from my perspective, however I had no control over myself. I took a step closer, a foot print melting into the dirt.

"I see you finally woke up…now it gets interesting!" he said, a dark aura surrounding him it had seemed. I looked to him.

"WHY!?" I yelled, charging at him with my claws out. I moved so fast it hardly seemed like I even commanded my feet to move before I scratched Miyakashi. He fell back a ways, clutching his chest for a while before removing his hand.

"There was nothing in my future if I stayed with you…I made a deal with Naraku. He knew you would run away after having your full-demon change. He said my only job to gain his favor was to hunt you down and kill you…" He stated as if this was up for argument. I really was not clear minded, I quickly charged him without hesitation. I began to throw everything I could think of at him. After a while I stopped and looked on him. He was laying on the ground, bloody and battered, but not dead. I walked to him and looked down to him.

"This seems familiar…" I stated with a cold voice. All he did was give me a smug smile and laughed with what breath he could muster up.

"I see now…I see why he wanted to do this before the full moon, Naraku is a clever man…" He said. I really didn't care to know what he meant. I rose my had and was able to materialize a staff/spear. I quickly gripped the staff in both of my hands and stabbed Miyakashi in the heart, because I was done with this worthless sack of shit. His blood splattered on my kimono. I will most defiantly have to get new clothes. As if a spell had lifted from me I was quickly back to my senses, still gripping onto the staff now soaked in blood. Let go of the staff and it disappeared, leaving an open hole in Miyakashi's chest. I looked down to his body as his eyes finally shut with a shit-eating grin on his face. Was it finally over? Before I had a chance to think about it Jaken jumped out of the bushes and used his staff to burn the body until there was nothing but ashes. Well then, I guess it was over because there was no way he could recover from that. I was a confused and a bit dizzy but I let it go and went up to him. I was about to ask where Sesshomaru was when he quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me in the direction he just came from.

"what did you do?" he asked in a frustrated tone. Why was he mad, I was the one who did all of the hard work…right? I sighed and thought back.

"It looks like I killed Miyakashi, you are welcome." I stated. He stopped and looked to me, jerking me closer to his face.

"You fool, you have no idea what kind of curse you put on yourself…" he said. What in the hell was he talking about? He grunted and pulled me with him as he met up with Rin. She had seemed scared when she first saw me. I tried to show her it was me and that everything was fine, but she still hesitated with me. I heard a clashing once more coming from behind me. I turned to find Sesshomaru inches from me. I was surprised, scared, and somehow a bit taken away by him. The gust from his arrival blew his hair into my direction, and it smelled nice. I closed my eyes trying not to be absorbed by him when he took my arm very gently. When I opened my eyes he was pulling my sleeve to look at some markings? Huh, I live in this body and I hadn't noticed I had markings. He looked to me and let go of my arm. He began to walk off, and everyone soon followed. I did as well, but I was really curious as to what happened to Naraku.

"Um, what happened to Naraku? Did you kill him?" I didn't want to wait and spend the rest of my time being paranoid. He didn't look back when he answered me.

"Your other friends are dealing with him…he will not bother us anymore…" was all he said the whole time. I wanted to ask more, but I had a sense too not talk about it anymore. Besides I was tired all of a sudden. When we found a good stopping place to camp I pretty much passed out as soon as I sat down.
