THALIS ARROW has traversed the Etherium. Nothing excites her more than waking up every day to a new adventure. Alongside her father and his oldest friend, Amelia Smollet, she has grown up on the deck of the RLS Legacy, and she wouldn't dream of having it any other way.
During her life of travels, Taz has seen many worlds, many planets and many people. And she has met plenty of boys likes Jim. Or so, she thinks.
James Hawkins, a human boy with eyes for the stars who's never once left his home planet of Montressor. James Hawkins who grew up reading the legends of Pirate Captain Nathaniel Flint long into the night and whose father abandoned him and his mother when he was seven. James Pleiades Hawkins, who dreams of discovering the world…and himself.
Taz knows very well how Jim is a rebellious teen who sees rules to be broken. And for that very reason, she's quick to realize her distaste and glad to see their paths diverge. But she has no idea those same paths will converge once more, brought together by a mysterious map and a lost trove of legend. She has no idea how much lies beneath the surface of Jim.
She has no idea he's chasing a fool's dream for the sake of setting things right for his mother. She has no idea how lost he feels and how desperately he's trying to find his place — to make something of himself.
Thalis Arrow, who's always prepared and always sure of herself, finds herself knocked off course by this angry boy with his big jacket and blue eyes. Something about Jim Hawkins is so different and curious and, naturally, remarkably aggravating. Nobody aboard the ship gets under her skin more than he does. Her feelings are reciprocated, as Jim thinks the rule-abiding girl terribly irritating, himself.
The two of them are determined to keep a healthy distance. But on a ship bound across the Etherium with no one to talk to, staying away from each other might just prove impossible.
After all, they have quite a journey ahead of them.

⋅✦ CHANGES HAVE been made to Amelia and Arrow's backgrounds and Jim's age in order to accommodate for Thalis's story and targetted audience of young adults. This means it will be slightly more graphic and (of course) romantic than the movie. I did also change my OC's name from Nyfia to Thalis/Taz.
⋅✦ THIS STORY is not currently available, nor do I know when it will be made so. Initially, it was just a project to vent and inspire creativity — I had no intention of ever publishing it. But my love for the characters and the potential of this story has been revived and I've slowly started writing some more chapters. I intend to continue with it however slowly, so chapters will come eventually. I promise if you have the patience you will all love this story. In the meantime, feel free to check out my other works!
